Jasmine would nod, and take the ball gently there, but firmly replacing it on her belt.
She bit her lip again... the thought of facing that Team again, she shook her head, and smiled, but no matter how much she'd try, it was a sad smile.
"My Professor is transferring me."
"With any luck, I won't need to be involved with fights like that any more."
"It'll hopefully make your job a little easier at least."
She'd nod without looking back to the Nurse, after all, she hadn't been lifting her head since the store incident now, "Please let Ironclaw know I'm thinking of her. I'll be back in the morning, promptly."
She would nod, and then, she went to move... but stopped... a thought in mind.
She had to see to her territory... but, other than that... the rest of her day... "Is there any chance, I could help your Porygon while you're busy working on my Skarmory?"
"I have a Happiny who is able to heal simple status effects... and, I wouldn't mind helping someone right now, if that's alright."

"No ma'am."
The Nurse would declares rudely.
"You stink of depression and this isn't the sort of place for such a thing. Also, you aren't looking for a battle, and we fight here all the time. Just not in the sort of way you might be used to ...I don't want anyone manning the front that isn't sure of him or herself."
"So, go home.
She would tell Jasmine as she went back to her work and the Porygon would appear again to take over the front.

Joy was frank.
That was about the best compliment Jasmine could think of right now... as she would just nod there, she'd keep Burnout's ball at side then, she'd wait until they got home until she'd test to see what on earth she'd caught in her ball.
"I appreciate your being honest." She managed at least, "I'll get out of your hair, but thank you again."
For now, it was time for her to head on, as she'd make her way out, and look to go back home...

And so she would return, the day later, if the center wasn't always open, she would have waited outside the entire time until its doors did unlock, but as it was, Jasmine would walk in, her head still didn't raise, but at least she did it today without lookign ready to break down and cry.
Her belt full again, with only a gap awaiting a familiar bird, she would walk to the counter, and fully expecting a Porygon to appear, she would wait, examining around. "Hello?"
"Is Joy available, or would her capable assistant be present?"
And all the while, the hidden Burnout watched, just over her shoulder, keepign cloe eyee on all.

"I'm in."
The Porygon that had come to the front hover higher as the woman came through. Her hands on her hips and she was no longer wearing the army attire, because it would seem she had decided to make a change. From head to toe, she was draped in native attire which consisted of a vest with a shirt underneath. Deerling skin breechers that ran from her waist all the way to her shin with shoes to match. Her hair was currently braided so that that strange color of pink ran all the way down to her butt as she looks over at Jasmine and sighed.
"You are one eager trainer, well, I shall go and fetch her." "I will tell you this much, she won't be much for flying far away from the ground ....her vision was impaired though I did save her eyes."
"Yet, I think I might have found some ways around it." "Not going to be the biggest fashion for Skarmory...but I have worked on some googles ...glasses to say...that can help ummm..fix that problem."
Nurse Joy would declares over her shoulder as she headed into the back and came back out with the Skarmory's pokeballs.
"Without those googles her accuracy in a fight will drop by half and with them, she should be able to see just perfectly."
Nurse Joy held it out for Jasmine to take.

Jasmine would accept the ball, very graciously, and as she took it, held it close... but despite it all, smiled, it was a proper smile. "Trust me... hearing that... it's good news."
"News I sorely needed to hear, if I can survive with glasses, I'm sure I can teach her to as well."
"Thank you for all the effort you put into healing her... I had been left with a vision of far worse today, I'm happy to see you've done so much for her."
"But..." She placed the ball on her belt finally, looking to Joy's new attire, "...I know I can't do much but offer thanks... you... look very pretty today."
"Is there a special occasion at all?"
Her thumb still idled over the balls exterior, waiting as if to open, but she wanted to be polite and ask about the new change at least, genuinely curoous about the pretty nurse!

"NOthing, I am going to tell you about. Though thanks for the compliment." "Now, head off wherever you need to be, and try to keep your pokemon in one piece ...won't you."
Nurse Joy declares with a blush as she headed back into the back room. Her Porygon did a full spin before she would vanished afterwards leaving Jasmine alone.

"Thank you... I'll do my best for you. And I'll be out of your hair in a minute!"
Jasmine herself would flush at the thought... Joy did look very pretty after all... she stopped, turning, as she caught a sight of her reflection there in the mirror... the girl all covered in gauze, only her hair seemed untouched, but that was unkempt and untamed, the hat and cloak she wore was pretty... but she was mostly hidden under it all...
She had promised Savvy she would try to be presentable... that would be the next trip...
But first, there was an important matter of Ironclaw... she would let her out, just to check first... she needed to see for herself how the Skarmory was!

The Skarmory would appear in a flash of red ....as her claws skidded a bit on the tile flooring. She would turn to look at Jasmine and those bright pink goggles would be the first thing anyone saw before they noticed the deadly pointed beak and the glossy steel body. It would seem that Nurse Joy hadn't worried too much about fashion here ...as one would look into the lens and see eyes that were reddish in color that was twice their normal size.
It wouldn't be until raised the goggles that the extend of her wounds would be noticeable. The deep crisscross of scar tissue around her eyes were clear ...sunken in a bit and still raw and pinkist in some areas ..it was clear that she was still healing and her eyes were a weak point.
The goggles it would seem served two purposes, it hid those injuries as well as protected those still open wounds.
It would take some getting used to, a predatory with such big eyes and thick lens. It would seem that Nurse Joy had truly done every thing she could for her.

Behind Jasmine, a ghostly voice spluttered in mid-air, barely holding in his laughter was of course, Burnout, still in hiding, still watching Jasmien protectively there, and looking at Ironclaw, looking at those pink goggles, he could only think of HIS Jasmine.
HIS Skarmory friend, HIS Blitzwing, wearing a pink set of goggles, and it just cracked through his brain the image, he could barely contain it, even his unbreakably gruff demeanour was shaking.
Jasmine however, looked at the bird, and reached out towards the bird.
But Ironclaw pulled back.
And Jasmine there, stayed still a moment.
[My eyes... they... hurt less.] Ironclaw would caw softly, her head positioned downward. [I thank you for that... and that alone.]
Jasmine finally managed to reach, her hand placed on the cool metal surface, "I'm happy to see you're doing better... and... until you get better... until we can find a way to fix this, I'll take care of you, as best I can."
Slowly, out of the thin air, Burnout would appear, his flame rising and then illuminating the rest of his body. [Fair you well, metal lady of the skies?]
A slow growl began in her throat, but Ironclaw wouldn't more than flex her metal panels of her body under Jasmine's touch, glowering at the ghost. [More alive than my CAPTOR at least...]
Burnout kept himself in checked, there were of course feelings to be taken into account. [We may settle accounts for later... I know, you as I... our defeats... they leave marks upon us.]
[Yours more obvious than mine.]
[For now... would you please aid Jasmine, having better legs than her, she could use your help.]
Ironclaw looked at Jasmine, then back at the ghost, squawking a rough laugh. [Me, the deafeated one, to be the bearer of my new human... how fitting.]
Yet, still, she would bow beneath Jasmine's hand, her body lain on the floor, and she would wait, as Jasmine looked on in curiosity and confusion.
"You... want me to get on your back?" She'd be given an adequate pause, before finally, indeed, Jasmine would sit, then slide over her legs with a little difficulty, but finally, she'd settle herself, and hold around the bird's neck, a slight grin there, "...I'm ready if you are, I guess?"
[We'll see.] The bird sighed as she stood, and Burnout would camouflage himself, now, the three would exit the center, but Jasmine would look back...
"...I wonder why Joy was dressed as pretty as she was...?"

Doug walked into the Pokemon Center, eyes still wide from what he'd witnessed. "I was probably just experiencing another attack... That has to be it. My mind was playing one heck of a bad trick on me..." He reasoned with himself, his words sounding like mumbles to anyone that would hear him. When Doug finally stopped talking to himself, he looked around the empty Pokemon Center lobby and frowned. "Maybe they have a serious case in the back. At any rate, I can be patient and wait." Dreiden would giggle a little which caused his trainer to look down at him. The boy would smile and close his anisocoria eyes.

Doug if he open his eyes would see it plastered on the side wall facing the counter. A map with the words in bold behind it.
"Directions to Beginner Island, take the stairs at the back of the pokemon center, and go all the way to the bottom. Do not by mistake get off at the ledge before the bottom ...otherwise, this might be the last time we speak."
"Have a nice day, the ferry below will be waiting on you."
That was all the sign said with a map pointed towards where they needed to go.

Doug stretched and opened his eyes then turned to the chairs to sit down but something caught his eye. His mouth was agape and a blank look crossed his features. He re-read the instructions and the map a few times, making sure he'd get them down to a tee. The boy nodded, called for Dreiden and set out to find said ferry. "Dreiden, no insult meant but keep your eyes open for that ferry." The Pokemon cried out a happy 'Dei' for what would seem to be a yes. Though the Pokemon had found it already, he waited to see how long it would take the boy to spot it. After a few minutes of impatient waiting, Dreiden latched onto Doug's coat with his teeth and tugged. "Hmm?" He looked a bit clueless but the Deino pointed him in the right direction. "Oh... Heh, found it..." The boy would trail off as the dragon would roll his eyes. The two made their way toward the ferry.

Though all they would see at first was just a row boat ...as they got closer ....a head would pop out of the water. A Goldeen ...it was tired to the boat with what seemed to be a round leash around his neck ...something that by simply swimming backwards he could slip with ease.
A smile was on his face as he waited for them to board. He would of course be the one taking them to Beginner Island.

Doug walked onto the boat and happily sat down, greeting the Goldeen and even conversing with the Pokemon. Dreiden, on the other hand was quick to decide against getting into the boat. His trainer looked back at him with a smile. "It's alright, Dreiden. It's a safe boat." Nut the Pokemon shook his head and still refused. With a sigh, Doug took out the Deino's Pokeball and returned him. "I'm not fighting with you on this. I'll let you out when we get to the island." He smiled at the Pokeball and held it on his lap. "I'm ready." The boy smiled as he'd feel the boat start to move.
