Y saw Yamamoto "shouldn't you watch Namine????" she said worried as he appeared. He placed his hands over her wound and it began to heal 'I'm fine, Namine's having the mental break down remember...' she thought to herself She saw him go in to heal L. She sighed walking in. "Sorry, I saw the heart attack and immediately thought kira had done it. So I locked the room and went downstairs. Though I didn't think I would have to be coming back..." she said explaining why there was a big chair blocking the door "It bothered me but I figured L would be fine, so long as what you've told us was true." She checked her rib quickly, it was healed but only to stop the bleeding. She glanced at L "He'll be fine right..." she said questioning what she thought. 'I still need to find out who wrote his name down... was it ryuk???' she thought at random and a bit scared "Yamamoto was Ryuk downstairs!?? he could have been downstairs, watching or something but I find it odd he wasn't mentioned, was he there with light?????" there was paranoia in her voice.

Rythian was upstairs deathnote in his hands and smiling "so, if they were at his base then I'm guessing we might not get to meet there, I wonder where Light will stay." he snickered "Maybe I could help he's been gone so long, ha so much changed Excors." he had remembered "right gotta fix my bike." he said with a smile "Excors is that girl light is in safe to talk to?" Excors shook her head "I see, so well be talking in code a lot i think, maybe... who knows" he sighed. he went back downstairs in his tang top changing his bike up again. When he smiled he stared at it his protective mask on. "looks great." He opened up the garage to air it out a bit. "I still have work to do...there's a request I had." he moved on to a truck that was also in the garage and grabbed a board of wood with wheels on it. lying down he rolled under the car attaching something underneath. a few sparks would be seen at random.

Lorelei Smiled "I see." she placed the wheel chair down and walked out "You know i know she gets paranoid but, bullets? would she go that far...?" she questioned.

Rythian stopped his work hearing footsteps and a knock. He rolled out from under the truck, taking his protective mask off and getting hair out of his face. His eyes brightened "Namine?" he somewhat questioned, still on his back "didn't think I would see you so soon." he smiled. 'so, he did come here, he must have gone back and all of them were there.' he got up and placed his equipment on a workbench "I was just getting some work finished up for tomorrow I like to be on top of my mechanic duties, what brings you here?" he asked 'If he talks in code, I need to listen carefully.' he glanced around seeing if anyone else was around "come inside, we don't need to talk in my work area." he was cleaning grease from his hands with a towel as he lead her to the entrance of the house, and inside. "just grab a seat if you want, let me go change." he said not wanting to talk in his dirty work clothes. He went up stairs and was changing as he got in his room "excors." he took his shirt off "god stop eating apples right now."
"I-I'm not." she said blatantly lying
"light is downstairs," excors nodded getting her hood on as a precaution following him under a cloak. Rythian grabbed some pants and a shirt he wore earlier coming down. "like anything to eat or drink?" he asked resisting to question him with things like, you brought Ryuk with you!? cool! You saw L? how bout that girl? why are you in a woman's body?
He smiled "I hope your not back to get this," he held up a folded piece of paper. It was the directions to Lights hideout. Rythian was trying to stay discrete and inconspicuous not knowing Namine was most likely unconscious. He had his deathnote tucked away under his shirt, safely. As he had promised to always have it on him. Or a part of it.



Y stared "so light has the deathnote that is verified..." she sighed thinking that she should have asked that first when she went down stairs and confiscated it. When Yamamoto said he planed to leave ' is Namine not here anymore???' she wondered with a sigh "well lets go back to base one then. I'm starving and exhausted, haven't had any bloody sugar all day and I've been thinking constantly, I can easily say I'm out of fuel." she said staring at what Yamamoto was doing filled with boredom 'How does that work?' she asked herself rather then out loud 'It seems like he's doing what he did to me, with the glow. but what is that glow? Maybe its the same stuff that is surrounding us? Chakra. It would make sense considering it has a color' she yawned and sat down analyzing "so what does green mean? healing? duh i would assume. I would hope so at least its healing and that your not pumping poison into his heart." she realized her 'mask' was still on and she pulled it off scratching her head and waiting patiently. She realized something, Yamamoto mentioned earlier that he could hear Lights thoughts "L...could you hear him?" she asked worried 'he must have been freaking out and paralyzed there the entire time.' She looked away disappointed in how much her decision backfired. 'I wasn't focused...I wasn't thinking of getting light, I was thinking of protecting L the whole time, and that made everything back fire, if I had just gotten downstairs and been blunt I could have prevented some of this.' she stood up again "nevermind, I'll get kyzomo to drive us-" she stopped "oh right I don't know where the heck we are..." she yawned once again "nevermind." she repeated unintentionally. 'we'll have to go to base one, only cause I have enough beds there for everyone, and there's defiantly food and protection. Not to mention surveillance. At least if we're there I won't need to worry about kira so much, although its kind of an obvious place to be. Then again at the time I wasn't expecting for people to start coming back from the dead, and at the same time on top of it all I wouldn't think Matsuda would bring stray people at will into the TOP SECRET HIDEOUT' "jeez," she said out loud getting a headache from thinking to herself. She leaned on the wall and pressed her forehead 'we'll need to get one of them to run with me to a road or something where Kyzomo can pick us up, or take us directly to the base.' She yawned once more.



Lorelei smiled "its ok, its makes things more interesting." she looked around admiring the area "welp! might as well set this up." she said unfolding the wheel chair. "mhmm" she nodded "so you guys work here, its so cool. It looks so new!? Did she remodel the place? I wonder why here? has she been here before???" she threw questions out and began poking at everything, from pens to the wall to waving at camera's. She was amazed.




Kyzomo sighed, he had cleaned up the entire house, and there was still no contact from Y. He paused a bit thinking and grabbed a tape from up stairs at random. He stared at it a while deciding what to do. He nodded and placed it in his pocket, wearing a trench coat allowed you to shove such square bulky things into your pocket.

(have fun with the post...T.T I need to make my posts more legible..I think there too out of order. I don't need picks and I have them seperated by character but the paragraphs kinda mangle together.)

Rythian let out a sigh of relief. It seem like things would be safe. He sat down across from Light and pointed at his head letting a snicker out "photographic memory. I remember everything, like taking a picture with my eyes, I simply have to go back to the filing cabinet in my mind, take a name and face and it’s done." he smiled widely letting his act down a bit. "I know about Ryuk, and you, and L as I somewhat mentioned. I also know about how your past followers failed you terribly." he smiled "everything Ryuk is aware of, I am aware of aswell" he sat back even more relaxed now but tried not to keep his guard down. "As for excors" he turned to the hooded figure in the door way "It's a secret pleasure of hers, she won’t say it but she likes them. Of course she doesn't ask for them, I get them once and a while as a snack for her."

Excors flinched not wanting to admit it, and walked up beside Rythian. "there juicy, in the shinigami world they taste like shriveled dry rocks." she noted "Even though we do not require food, shinigami will eat simply for the pleasure of tasting though our bodies do not require it. So of course we would prefer the better tasting food over the rotten ones if it is a matter of pleasure preferences. “She explained

"You can take off your hood." Rythian said to her smiling

Excors turned to him then stared at light hesitantly before taking her hood off. It revealed a very human like face wrapped in bandages, revealing one eye a nose and a mouth. Her hood covered the rest of her body and only her face was seen, her neck becoming bone. Her eye was red and had a reptile like slit down the middle. She had big lips with jagged pointed teeth hiding behind it.

"This is the shinigami Excors. She told me everything; we both share a common boredom in this world. After hearing the story of light and ryuk I decided to follow in your steps in hopes of releasing my boredom. In doing so." he leaned forward, placing his elbows on his knees "I have found a reason not to be bored. By following you I've put my abilities to the greater cause of a better world. That is why I am dedicated to helping you, though just as a warning my means are a little more like Ryuk's then they are like your past followers. I am not neutral though, and I don’t really plan on killing you in the end” he laughed “simply put I want to see a better new world, and I will help ensure this happens. I am human, you should obviously be seen higher than I am, and I do see you that way. Its different to be a human like me, but light your more like a god, you have the mind and methods to change the course of time it’s unbelievable.” He took a breath “I apologize for talking so much, is there anything else you want to know about me for precautions, about my loyalty, so on. I only wish you not act like I am a droid or a zombie” he snickered “I am loyal but I am no dog. Perhaps not as smart as you are, but defiantly I would hope well enough not to be toyed with as you tried before... There is no need to even think of stooping to a human’s level, I respect you as a symbol, and form of idol.” he smiled and waited having finished explaining how he stands “There is also the matter of L; I regret to say I saw him alive. I did not wish to kill him considering you did not wish it of me yet and he is your rival. I planned to keep in character and not change my patterns, no need to cause suspicions, until of course you say so. If you say it, it will be done.”
Excors glanced at Rythian worried, she did not enjoy the thought of Rythian getting attached to light so easily, but she did not mind it either. She would stay neutral.
Rythian’s green eyes sparked up realizing something “geez you don’t even know my name, I can be such an idiot.” He smiled his eyes glimmering “My name is Rythian, and I have been born with the eyes of a shinigami. With this I plan live my eternity following you. Yet in the end I’m the simple mechanic at this shop hmmhmm.” He smiled again “I’d shake your hand but I wouldn’t want to sully it, even though I’m fairly sure that isn’t your body.”




Lorelei smiled “You seem like a father to her.” She said with a smile teasing a bit



Y sat up as they got to the building letting L’s hand go. She would need to talk to him later about something important. She entered the building pressing before going through the second doors she pretended to tie her shoe and flipped some metal in the floor revealing a coded numbers. She pressed a bunch and walked through without the alarms going off. “Come on you two.” She said and glanced ahead not believing what she was seeing her face swelled up “What in the bloody hell are you two doing here!??” she sighed holding her head getting a headache from all the stress “I don’t think I’ve sworn so much in one day.” Lorelei ignoring her angered friend completely charged at her “YIanna!!!” and tackled her with a hug “It’s been so long! you swear now??”
“It’s been less than a day and no I don't naturally” she said pessimistically, un-amused.
“Those britz made you cynical!” Lorelei replied completely enthusiastically.
“I’ve never been to England” she lied considering Lorelei shouldn’t even know about that.
“Then where did you pick up bloody from huh??” she said still overly enthusiastic
“Sop opera’s.” She replied still pessimistic.
Lorelei smiled and dragged Y to the wheel chair she brought in. “looks what I brought! As your personal doctor I can’t have you walking around with terrible wounds like that”
“Wha!” she was forced in the chair “Stop being cheesy your acting right now, you and me both know it.”
“silly I don’t know how to act teehee” Y glanced up and Lorelei’s blond hair, other than being older and having bigger boobs she could pull off being misa
“do me a favor.”
“what.”
“Never go Goth and wear pigtails at the same time, you know what not even separately. It would really creep me out.”
“why not?” she was genially confused.
“didn’t you know stereotypically blonds get dimmer when their hair is up and they where slutty cloths, and are pop stars...never mind never mind.”
“But I have a PHD, why would I get dummer?”
“right...how did you get that again...?” Y said sarcastically.
Lorelei laughed and so did Y happily for the first in a long time. Y stopped “uh. Right What the hell are you doing here.” She glared.
“I’m your doctor, you can’t trust anyone else to take care of those wounds right” she began to roll Y to an elevator.
“hey- uh- where are you taking me! I’m fine it’s just a body, who cares!” Lorelei smiled
“Well at least let me take a look at those stitching”
“NOT IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE!” she struggled but was too weak, not one to exercise.
“oh come on, it’s not like I’m taking your shirt off, it’s just below your rib not anywhere near you boobs silly”
“I don’t flippen care! It’s embarrassing.”
“If it was embarrassing you shouldn’t have gone and shot yourself.”
“not that. I’m shy! I’m an introvert you don’t just go doing this! I’m not extroverted like you are stop it right now!”
“to bad so sad.” Lorelei checked the stitching and her eyes looked like they had fire in them
“Their LOOSE! What have you been doing?!? You’ve been running right huh?? I bet you were fighting or something, didn’t you tell me you never got up close to bad guys?? Huh well???”
“It was just me ramming into a door stop flipping out. Besides Yamamoto could heal me if he wanted to.”
“Ya well I bet it’s artificial. Ya that’s it and you know what I’ve already stitched you, so you’re getting healed the old fashioned way, no artificial poop.”
Y didn’t know what to say “You’re more stubborn than a cow.” She mumbled
“There’s no other way to be your friend.”
Y flinched looking away “put my shirt down!” Lorelei smiled and Y went a bit red. Lorelei began to run with her in the wheel chair Y yelping as they flew off “Matsuda help me!!!! T.T” her voice echoed loudly and then quietly as she passed him by like a roller coaster but they already ran off the elevator closing. They began going up slowly Y glaring at Lorelei “Why are you here???? Well?? Did I not say I would contact-“
“I just wanted, to see you again. You know, you may not know but it’s been a long time since I last saw you smile yianna, and I miss that smile.”
Y froze. “I told you to not call me that please.” She crossed her arms “Besides what kind of doctor does that, you might as well have killed me. If you’re going to stay here, you need to stop being a loose cannon and-“
“does that mean I can stay! YAy!”
“s-stop it I didn’t even finish my-“
“ooh I bet your hungry I’ll make pancakes or something! Just like back home and” she continued on talking and proceeded to jump
“DOnt.JUMp. In. THE.ELEvator.” Y clutched onto the wheel chair “I never said-“
“Hmmh. This is going to be fun,” Lorelei stared smiling and stopped.
Y was silent a long time leaning on her hand and staring at Lorelei from the corner of her eye “Damn me and my INFP pity.” She mumbled
“It’s official, I’m your doctor.”
“Your name is Lily.”
“huh?”
“We can’t call you your normal name, and next time you come here wear a disguise, I'll take care of your job.”
“Oh I have no idea where I am.” She smiled absent minded. The elevator opened.
‘Longest elevator in the world’ Y rolled out quickly the moment she could get away ‘I am completely out of my habitat. “Another rule, listen, if I’m working do not bother me, I am used to being alone having people around bothers me I can’t act normal around you.” She wheeled to a kitchen ‘Why don’t I just walk...right’ Lorelei came running in happily. “~Watcha making?~”
“~None of your business~”
Lorelei watched over her shoulder as Y placed some cheese in flour and began to fry it with butter. She dumped everything in the sink and placed it on a plate. She rolled to a TV turning it on and then to a table and began to eat “I’ve been starving.” Lorelei was over her shoulder again. She stopped “do you mind?”
“nope.”
“gah.” She finished her food rolling back to dump it in the sink “I'm headed to the shower, I haven’t eaten all day and I’ve been doing nothing but thinking my sugar intake and usage ratio is terrible I can barely think.” She remembered her idea to tick light of and scowled disappointed in herself “I’m an idiot right now basically; I need to rest and continue work tomorrow. I’ve been out of my normal living habits, it’s effected me a lot”
“Hey hey wait! I need to fix your stitching first”
Y cursed in her mind “fine,” Lorelei took her wheel chair and brought her to a couch “I’m showering after this and sleeping.”
Y lay down and Lorelei took out some scissors from her inside pocket. She began to tighten the stitching again, Y clutched a nearby pillow “Forget it... stop it.. it hurts!.” Lorelei smiled
“Your fault for reopening the wounds.” She wondered a bit about one of the ones on the front. “Hey this heal a lot faster than the other...”
“don’t worry about it, Yamamoto healed that one. I’ll explain another time...” she paused
"You better not sleep for 15 hours."
"I might, that's how I naturally sleep"
“owowowoOWOWOWOWOW!” she curled up
“stop moving sheesh I’m done.”
“finally.” Y got up
“hey your wheel chair!”
“If I walk there take a shower and come back I doubt my wounds will re open again.” She said waving her off “oh. Don’t touch any technology.” She knew how Lorelei would act to something advanced in technology, and it would probably lead to it breaking.
“aye aye hey do you still love music??.”

Y never answered “damn it, I’m going to die, I’m going to die and it’s because of my own self.” She mumbled getting to a bathroom and locking the door. “Finally I can be alone a moment....”



Kyzomo had been driving, tape in his pocket, results of the gun in the other. He had used his time wisely and saw a car parked in front of the ‘office’ He parked a block away and when he got there he peering from the front door ‘Oh good, looks like everyone’s here’ He walked in “Hey Matsuda, I would think you’d get lost.” He snickered

Rythian nodded knowing who he was talking about "she worries me as well, I encountered her, Yamamoto and L when they were searching for your body. It seems they were too late though. Then again so was I. I did end up shooting the girl twice...obviously she is still alive. They don't know my face or name, they do know however that I have a death note and the eyes. It really was terrible. Luckily I've been killing using media only, so they wouldn't be able to connect me to my current writting" he explain how far he went as to talk to their opponents. "How shall we dispose of the man...oh an Ryuk, I saw his lifespan so did you. No point in not telling, Namine has the same thing right? You can see it its weird. L was like that as well." he questioned the shinigami "I'm a lot more forgiving then light I might get you apples more often, but I still work for him so you might as well just answer him more often." he said with a smile a bit of bribery, considering that seemed like the only way to get things out of him "I could just write his name and let it be over with, but that might not work will it?" he looked a bit worried "So in doing so we might just alert them not actually gain anything...." he sighed not knowing what to do "wait, um light" he refrained from calling him kira for precaution "Why are you here if you don't mind my asking. I thought we were going to meet on monday." he was worried "They didn't put you in a position to run did they?" he was worried now thinking about what could have happened to make light retreat. 'It could have been Yamamoto, ' he thought and waited for light to answer. He stood up "you must be hungry. Having gotten all the way here," he grabbed some food from the fridge trying to find something, and debating "hope you don't mind chicken, best thing I have right now sadly." he said as he pulled out some raw chicken and other ingredients. He started up a stove and a frying pan. He would be willing to make light anything he had, should he not want that.




Kyzomo walked in, only noticing up close that Matsuda was unconsciouse. He laughed "What happened now. Get up buddy." he shook him a little letting him rest after that 'better get Y the results' he thought and took the elevator up. He sniffed the air getting up and looked around to see a woman from earlier "Um hello?" The woman froze up and stared paralyzed. "Are you authorized to be here?" Kyzomo turned, the woman ducked into a couch she was sitting on kyzomo sighed as she started to mutter things like
"I'm just a doctor I'm just a doctor."
"I didn't mean to intimidate you." He turned around looking and wandered beside a bathroom hearing water running 'She's taking a shower.' he nodded to himself. Headed back to Lorelei and a TV that was there. They were always ready to show any type of information, even VHS. He placed the tape in and watched.

I DONT LIKE DRESSES

Lorelei wondered what he put in. Two little children were on the camera in a backyard of sorts. One with short curled up blond hair and one with average length dark brown hair. Lorelei's face widened "HEy! hey that's me!" The older taller girl smiled widely "Don't we look cute!" she said, not really loosing any enthusiasm from back then. The other had her hands crossed and was obviously pissed off. The older girl noticed and turned "Hey whats wrong."
"I don't like dresses..."
"But we look great in them!" the girl twirled around
"Their not comfortable, and every time there's wind I need to hold it down, I feel to shy in this, what if someone sees our underwear?huh. Your the one who said we were cute in these." she argued logically.
Little lorelei stared not knowing what to do, so in retaliation she whack the other girl and ran for it "Your it!"
"ow hey! your suppose to tap not punch them in the head." She got Lorelei back easily and ran around a tree, and then climbed up it.Little Lorelei although kept running around the trunk. The other girl giggles soon turned into a big laugh. "I win! You can never get me."
Lorelei looked up then smiled "But how ya going to get down genius."
the girl froze "I uh...I'l just jump....um no...its too high..." she glanced down and now was hugging to tree. "fine I'll be it just help me down please."
Lorelei laughed "Your like a cat."
"I am not."
"just come on." she reached up "jump"
"more like fall on you."
"just jump."
The girl did and landed on Lorelei. The two looked at each other and began to laugh at one another hysterically. The person filming snickered and put the camera away.





Lorelei snickered "How did I forget that..."
Kyzomo laughed low and a bit loudly. "Your exactly the same."
"am i? haahahaha. Her dad was a sniper with that camera. That one was back in Canada" she laughed "So hey. How did you get that." she pointed to the TV
"She's Canadian??? and its a secret. I'm thinking of making a gift for Y, I know she would get pissed to find out I found one of her probably many hiding spots" he thought a bit of how there was a box hidden in the building they were in now with her earrings in it. "but, I think this would make her smile, it doesn't look like she's taken time to look at these in a while, based on how much dust was on them."


Y had been thinking to herself. "music?" its been a long time since she last sang something to herself, she used to really like music, and could connect to anything that inspired her. She hummed getting out and finishing her shower singing a bit quietly "from this valley they say you were leaving. We will miss your bright eyes and sweet smile, for they say you are taking the sunshine, that has brightened our paths for a while." a smile creep-ed on her face "So come sit by my side if you love me, do not hasten to bid me adieu, but remember the red river valley and the one who has loved you so true." she glanced at her face stopping her smile 'yianna put that away, you need to be serious.' she sighed stressed out 'All this stuff in my past popping up like ghosts. L, Lorelei, Kyzomo too even though he's a more recent case. All at random, and unexpectedly. Not to mention Light. I need to stop thinking, I've wasted too much energy as it is.' she got dressed and left the bathroom taking her dirty clothes to a room momentarily before heading back to the kitchen. She itched her head. Her eyes widened and her breaths stopped. She heard a familiar voice. She looked up over from the kitchen in silent. There was something on the TV, two people. Everything was numb in her body, and she couldn't look away, staring blankly on the outside, her body became hollow and cold and she was blank only focused on the Television.

"Lorie hold the Camera, I wanna get mom and dad in."
"ok!"
the girl giggled smiling and dragging two adults "uh hey honey why us??" the man laughed
"well your always video tapping me right? You guys are always the ones holding the camera, we never get to see you two, people watching these things won't even know who you are! I need to tell them at some point."
"yianna their family videos, we'll know, besides you're going to be the one watching them later."
"Hey if their for me then isn't that the more reason if I want you two in it? Besides your not psychic we dunno whats going to happen in the future. Better safe then sorry, I want who ever is watching to know who's behind the scenes!" she smiled even more and was picked up by her father. Little Lorelei held up the camera shakily, the camera loosing focus at some points. "This is dad. He's a joker, and sneaky. But he's also a liar."
"hey!"
"your the one who said "i'll be back in half an hour!' and then was back in ten minutes that's not even close. Either you exaggerated, lied, of have no sense in time."
"I over exaggerated" the girl smiled widely "I act like daddy, we're both lazy and like video games, and relaxing but we do do work at times, and when we do we end up cleaning up the whole house!" she giggled and so did the man.
"That's true" the woman agreed "What about me"
"This is mommy, I look just like her, but I have daddy's really dark eyes. Mommy is smart and calm, and easy going. I got my smartness a bit from her. She does lots of work and stuff, so does dad, but moms work involves testing in stuff and that's pretty cool."
"heyheyy your making it seem like I have all the negative points." the man laughed
"I got the best from both of you..." she smiled widely hugging the two, posing for the camera. "But it doesn't matter, you two could have been terrible people I would still love you. We're going to be together forever."






Y's body became loose, she turned of the TV 'I hate them, I hate them. Their liars, their all liars.' tears swelled up in her eyes and fell she glared at kyzomo coldly already knowing where he got them from, she didn't say anything and only took out the tape looking at it. 'They were suppose to live forever. I can understand the pain of loosing a person you've never gotten a chance to meet. Like most people in the orphanage, but when you've gotten so much experience with the ones you love and its just taken ' she didn't want to finish her thoughts, she was ready and about to throw the tape to the ground and simply dispose of it 'Their liars! It's never fair! To just choose a person's life! no questions just out of random thought and with a point, no one deserves that. Humans are disgusting, we're terrible. Which person isn't a monster huh L?!? tell me. I remember you said you feared monsters, so you tell me your afraid of everyone?!?! We're all monsters all of us.' she stopped her movements tears still falling from her eyes 'the criminals are the worst of all. disgusting. Sometimes no matter hard you try they will never change, like light. ' she glared at Kyzomo her expression blank still. though her eyes showed endless sadness and anger. She threw the tape on his lap "I'm going to bed, I've wasted my energy on stupidity." she said
Lorelei glanced "wait." Y stopped, turning to stare at her "....are you alright."
Y snickered "just fine," other than her face if hadn't been looking at her you would probably think she was normal. "mentally at least. My heart on the other hand is in pain, but its ok, I can smile and cry at the same time." she smiled brightly and turned leaving again "There are many rooms down this hall just pick one." she noted before getting to one, and closing the door behind it not bothering with the lock. Flopping herself on her bed she now showed all her emotions. Crying into a pillow uncontrollably but silently 'I need to get rid of them all, their too close. Lorelei, light hasn't seen you yet, I doubt he would kill you, but the only reason would be to get at me at worst. She has nothing to do with L, but I do. He would easily kill her get me pissed, kill me, then deal with a pissed L.' she buried her face in the pillow 'I want to stop getting close to everyone. It's too dangerous,' she began to breath normally "Their too close, too close to my heart. I need to get them away or no one is safe. I need to be alone again, or else they'll just die. They all do no matter how many times they lie." people popped up in her head 'mom, dad, L, Mello, matt, all the people I consider friends or family, their all at risk, and potential people to use against me. That's how Light killed a shinigami right? the one who killed L? disgusting. In order to protect them, I hate them. all of them.' she began to calm down her eyes closed. "I wish I could have no heart, that way I wouldn't need to worry about so called monsters...I-I hate everyone." she said out loud. 'why am I talking no ones listening, its not likt shinigami when you were a kid Y.'





Kyzomo sat up, dropping the tape he wanted to apologize but Lorelei pulled his sleeve "Don't, usually when she's emotional she just needs to think things through."
"Has she been like that before???"
Lorelei shook her head "She never cries in front of people, I'm sure she ends up being worst on her own... She must have issues keeping subjects like that in. Usually I can never know how she feels at certain times."
Kyzomo looked scared and confused, he had never seen Y react like that before. Acting completely against her enigmatic self "It would be inhuman not to react."
Lorelei looked a bit confused and then nodded understanding "I get worried, because she tends to relate everything to emotions. So when I hear about cases and I know its her, I get worried." she wondered how to explain "She's weird in a way, that, if a killer were executed, and the victims were cheering no matter how bad the person was. She sadly will always cry for them, that's how emotional she is. She's always been against killing, not by influence of school and what not. She just hates it, what was it she said "No one deserves to die. You shouldn't have to choose if a person gets to live or not." She thinks that is evil" she nodded "I took that into my work, as a doctor if someone needs help I will heal. Even if their a killer." she said with a smile.
"So she influenced you too. Plain and simple I've tried to change my criminal ways..." Loralie jumped back five feet hiding behind anything she could find "waitwaitwait your a criminal?!?!???"
"heyhey! I put that behind me! I'm trying to help Y!"
"I thought you were an officer! I usually think all guys at first and baddies but your real??? gah what did you do? no! I dont wanna know, dontwannaknow. just stay away!"
Kyzomo sighed rubbing the back of his head "Its people like this that get the non rapists in jail."







'I feel like talking...to someone who doesn't exist like when I was a kid. Though I know they must have been real right. It wasn't just shock, I always thought.' she looked ahead 'why is this even coming to mind.' she wiped her face one or two tears falling through 'I'm exhausted...if I don't sleep now I'll never wake up. Or rather, I'd rather sleep and never wake up. How am I going to explain myself. Will they bother to ask...' she paused lying down in her bed again 'When was the last time I saw them. The last time they hugged me. When was the last time I got a simple hug from someone in my family. I miss their warmth. just think of something happy.'




She pictured herself as a child in the same building waking up from a nightmare. She scurried out of the room beside a chair, embarrassed and waiting. The person in the chair glanced at her, saying nothing "there was a monster..." the person was silent "I j-just don't want to be in the room." she explained after a pause the person tapped on the chair beside them "You shouldn't sit on the floor your feet will get cold." the girls face brightened up a moment and she sat down beside the person hugging her knees like them. In moments she fell asleep leaning on the person in the chair curled up in a little ball perfectly. The person glanced away from their screens a moment at the little girl surprised that they were asleep then back at the screens, they bit their thumb.

Y smiled falling asleep over her covers, to exhausted to bother.

Kyzomo and Loralei had been sitting in the kitchen area a long time wondering what to do. Before Lorelei decided she should sleep as well. Kyzomo nodded. After she left he realized he still had a job to do. He had done some research beforehand finding out about the gun and where it could have possibly come from, he just needed to relate it to a person. He decided to head out to the computer room as he entered he saw L. He was a bit curious "Hello there, we've only met a few times, in a rush, but my name is kyzomo. I'm more or less Y's assistant and body guard." he smiled widely pointing at himself. he grabbed a chair next to a spar computer and began to do some digging into files 'here we go, there is a list of where this gun was manufactured and sold. I was able to find out that this one in particular is a new model, and shipped recently. Unused. Out of this list only a few were recently shipped out, and even fewer within the area. I'll copy and paste all of this for when Y get's up, I'm sure she would feel happier if she figured it out on her own.' He let out a breath looking at L a moment ‘what is he doing...he doesn’t have any work to do does he? Well I’m sure it’s something beneficial.’ He got up and took the gun out of his pocket. He walked beside towards a drawer “Excuse me a moment.” He said just warning in case he bumped into him, he pulled one opened and popped the bottom up slipping his finger in and pressing something. He then walked to a wall where a part in the wall popped opened. He flipped it around and entered a password, another area popped out of the wall. He followed by pressing more random numbers. He smiled “We do that cause then if they check they have decoy numbers as Y puts it. Should they get this far, of course this isn’t that important so it has less security.” He smiled placing the gun in the area that opened. He closed it, replacing everything. He noticed something on the counter a box of sorts with things inside “what’s this...” he pulled out some earrings with green bells attached to them. He shook them “Must be hers from way back. I just keep stumbling on these things...” he sighed placing them back and closing the box. “That kind of explains why she placed so much care to this base, there must be more on her past here, let’s hope I don’t walk into it again.” He noted out loud. He felt like walking out, maybe going out for a drink. He was done his duties for now. He waited though staring at the box a moment.




Rythian listened to them talk finishing the chicken placing them on two plates, then stared a moment at to what Light was saying, thinking he understood what light was thinking up “Your soul is kinda occupying her body...are you two merging together or something...” he began to worry even more for lights sake “...that....” he was unsure of what to say “I don’t quite understand the situation fully, but it seems we might need Namine to get you out...or maybe there’s something in her mind that could help us. Light she’s unconscious or something right? Does that mean you can rummage through her brain without her knowing???” he was worrying more now. ‘This isn’t good, that girl Namine, he might as well be contaminating Light’s thoughts.’ He focused “As for clothes I don’t wear women’s clothing. Sorry about that. I could offer you my own but they may be big for your current body. Then again anything must be more comfortable than a dress. ” He was very concerned that Light was being withered away into a meaningless woman. “Excors have any ideas..?” he turned
Excors glanced at him “Ryuk is older than I am, I have never seen these humans that can be immune to the death note, but in relation to Light’s soul it seems we simply need to get him to another body. Even though I think he might find use in that one, if you are that concerned Rythian.” She said
‘note to self. Get Excors more apples.’



Y and Lorelei will be asleep until morning/afternoon of the next day unless approached or woken up. So awaiting a few moments to be over till then.

Kyzomo hadn't understood the joke in the beginning at all. Not having known about the kira case in large details. Just that Y was there, and the people who worked on the case were the task force, including Matsuda, and the detective L. He glanced at L then the box "wait a second...so wait your L?!?!?!??" he hadn't bothered to ask, he had been taking instructions from Y for the entire time, Namine came out of nowhere and then he was told to go pick up this guy and a girl, and then sent off once more without introducing. He had at least forgotten the man's name. He hit himself in the head "So you’re the detective from back then, wow. I thought most of the people died. I don't know much about the Japanese police involved or about the kira case." he snickered "I'm more or less a henchman again. So Matsuda and the few others weren't the only survivors now. Unless of course more mambo jumbo business is involved..." he sighed not really grasping the whole situation "Y will explain things to me later, she always does for precautions." he paused "I'm going to bed then," he began walking out the door. "I'm done work for today." he went to a room and slept.





Rythian smiled at Lights idea "I wonder, it will be interesting to test on immortals won't it Excors" he turned to "A heart attack might not kill them, but pulling their own head off might, maybe not. they require a bit more of a tragic death then most. They are against you after all, and as for a shinigami and an immortal teaming up I guess." he paused a moment "The enemy of our enemy is our friend. So, they have a common goal, sadly it seems that is the prevention of the new world. They must be simply working together in order to team up against kira." he put simply he smiled seeing light enjoying his food. Living alone allowed Rythian to be a great cook, by making his own meals. He covered up his own food and placed it in the fridge "If you want, you can sleep here. A hotel might provide more comfort sadly but I would not consider oblivious people worthy to serve you. Hell I am not worthy to serve you. My room is upstairs, Should you require a bed. I'll sleep on the couch." he noted, seeing as just in case the others would still be at the home light mentioned. 'As for this.' he looked at the note he was given and ripped it up going to his stove. 'Don't want anyone else knowing about it' he burnt up the paper leaving black charcoal. Then got a towel and began to clean the stove. 'Finally' he went upstairs throwing the towel in a washer filled with clothes and began to wash it. He went back down stairs "Even If I don't remember Yamamoto's full name, it is captured in my mind. I only need to go back into my files and take it out." he said smiling at a worst case scenario 'I am a useful pawn, at the very least.' He had a blanket with him, in order to stay warm on the couch already assuming that light had nowhere to go, it was late after all.








Lorelei woke up early, sun shining her face bright; she got dressed and pranced out her door straight to Y’s room.
“~Yiannnnnnaaaa!~” she said in a sing song voice, and shook her shoulder softly. “~common wake uuuppp~”
There was no answer “I know you like your sleep but let’s go.” There was a very annoyed grunt as a response.
Lorelei shook her again “C’mon sleepy head” Y wacked her hands of her shoulder burying herself under the darkness of the covers, wrapping them under her tightly “You’ve got work to do. If you don’t get up now I’ll make you sing later.”
“I’d rather sing...”
“Wake up! I know you, you don’t get up now you’ll be here until 3:00 pm let’s go!”
No response
“Fine but your singing later,” Lorelei began walking out of the room and Y sat up
“Wait...” Lorelei paused listening
“Fine, I’m getting up but I don’t want breakfast.”
“But breakfast is the most important part of the day.”
“I don’t like breakfast food, its only eggs and toast and stuff, I” Lorelei already left happily most likely making breakfast for everyone anyways.
Y groaned hiding under her covers again, and then remembered last night. ‘Right,’ she thought, she needed to do something, somewhat to make herself feel better about what happened, and to make Lorelei feel better. She hurt them. ‘Singing....’ she paused a moment then sat up, with messy hair, baggy white Pj’s and slightly glassy eyes. She glanced into the kitchen looking around it looked like only Lorelei was there “I’m only ever doing this once, never again you hear me.” Lorelei turned a bit confused ‘just make something up off the top of your head....’ she thought and took a breath and using the tune from Katy Perry song tick tock began to sing, quietly. Singing none the less.

“Wake up in the morning looking just like L,
Mascara’s dripping, so I’m tripping cause I look like hell,
My phone be ringing while I’m singing got a job to do,
Cuz there’s a man out there named kira and he’s coming for you...”

Lorelei’s face brightened up to an extreme listening to Y, although Y herself was very unenthusiastic.

“AWE why did you stop?!? Finish it. Finish it! “
“Keep it down. I’m only doing it to say I’m sorry, and I know this would make you happy.”
“Well I don’t forgive you for whatever it is you did.”
“w-what?”
“Finish it.”
“No, I was just making it up...”
“c’mon! Do it and be enthusiastic this time”
Y was getting annoyed her patience being tested, she glanced around still no one in sight. “Fine,”
She taped her foot a bit to get a beat and continued from the chorus

“Death note, rock the boat cuz I’m gonna find kira,
Tonight, I’m a fight cuz I know that it’s light...” Y paused not knowing what else to say
Lorelei continued “we will, save the day, cause this light sounds really gay. Oh”
Y snickered “oh oh oh oh.” She paused smiling

“more?”
“More more!!!”
“Shut up!” she said trying to get her to keep it down.
“Only if you dance this time too”
“What??? Ok now your pushing it.”
“Awe please,” Y sighed
“Not dancing.”
“Fine I’ll make you dance, one more verse.” She said as she forcefully grabbed Y’s limp arms and swung them side to side Y sighed

“Light is about to get powned, powned

Y finished and Lorelei clapped “yay!”
“Your too happy, are you satisfied now. I should have just picked a song, not make something up.”
“Ya, I have no idea what you were talking about.” She said dopily “but it was funny to hear you sing, even if you were mumbling.”
“Ok good. Now run off and never look back.” She said getting some tea
“What oh come on.”
“I felt guilty, that’s the only reason I did that. It’s for your own good. People really need to invent those zappy lasers from men in black, it would make things so much easier. For you not me, you could run off having forgotten everything.” She took her tea to a chair and opened a laptop found on the desk, she bit her thumb, a pile of assorted sweets on the side.
“But you need me as a doctor.”
“I need you as a friend.” She froze a while “If you died I would probably kill myself internally, what are you doing in Japan anyways, I’ve been keeping track of you but there was no reason for you to move here.” She hugged her knees leaning over more
“You’ve been spying on me!?” she paused “you’ll get a hunch back like that...”
“Keeping track, not spying.” She sat normally still leaning over. Lorelei pulled Y’s shoulders back stretching them further a few cracks being heard “owOW stop that.” She leaned over again, gazing at the computer biting her thumb.
“You shouldn’t bite your thumb it’s a bad habit.”
Y sighed and began twirling her hair
“Don’t do that it’s a bad habit.”
Y sighed again and took a chocolate bar and began to eat it
“You’ll get fat if you eat too many sweets; it’s bad for your health.”
She sighed once more and began to play with a marshmallow before sticking a tooth pick in it and began to build something
“You shouldn’t play with your food.”
“Gah! Shouldn’t you be cooking???? Huh?? This is how I keep my train of thought ok?” she noticed smoke coming from a pot “What a terrible combination bad attention and a mild form of OCD on others.” She sighed “You are NOT allowed in the computer room.”
Lorelei freaked out running to a pot and turning off the stove, letting out a sigh of relief. “Awe why not?? And where’s your wheel chair?”
“Right there from yesterday.” She pointed as she stood up with the tea and sweets. Sneaking the tape on the ground under her arm.
“Well I was serious about that; if you want to heal you can’t strain your back.”
“You’re the one who wanted me to have better posture” she mocked a bit, before was sat down into the wheel chair. Y fumbled slurping tea quickly before it spilled.
“Ok where to?”
“You just want to get to the computer room don’t you?”
Lorelei smiled evilly
“Fine, bonus marks for the lame excuse. Heal normally ya ok.”
She snickered “hey that’s true actually”
“How would I know, I don’t have the PHD.” Y pointed and Lorelei wheeled away she leaned on one hand sweets on her lap and cup of tea in the other. “Please check on Matsuda after this ok. I’m worried, did he end up going to a room? I’m sure he’ll appreciate the breakfast you made.”
“Oh. You not going to have any?”
Y shook her head “I don’t like breakfast foods, milk products, jams, breads, I do like tea however. That was one thing I liked about England, they have a lot of tea. Even for breakfast.”
“Oh common not even pancakes? How about bacon?”
Y snickered “I’m just not in the mood, I’ve never been a morning person. You obviously remember me sleeping a lot.” She noted glancing at Lorelei “your stubborn, not like L in a different way. More like persistent. You have what is it, Ambition, that’s the best way to put it.”
Lorelei smiled “I told you, it’s the only way to be your friend, otherwise you just bury yourself in problems, If I don’t keep digging you’ll just rot there, someone needs to help loosen the weight on your shoulders.”
Y paused a bit surprised with the answer, her face calming down “wow, smart answer from a dumb blond.”
“I’m not that stupid common!”
Y laughed “teasing, is how I show affection to friends.” She smiled looking down and sipping her tea “Besides even a stray bullet like you will hit the mark once and a while. Right” she looked around as they entered what she referred to as the Computer room.





Kyzomo woke up with a yawn. Stumbling out of his room and sniffing food in the air “mmmmmmm” he walked into the kitchen seeing the table covered with various breakfast dishes his eyes brightened “am I still dreaming??” he proceeded to eat away at some of the food “oh this is great who made this.???”

Just so you know I was writing, and then firefox decided to crash and not reload all that I wrote. So, now I'm mad and work in an hour. Hopefully I'll have time to redo it all when I get home tonight though.
