Hi, I'm Aaron, I'm seventeen (looking forward to my 18th at the end of the year). Currently I'm looking at a career in architecture so art is just a side hobby that will probably be useful. I've been designing computer cases for some time now (I have yet to get the money to actually build one of my designs) as well as making signatures and banners. Last year I dabbled with some artwork for my schools website (no, I will not post the link, cause it's crap...) and I have started working with a "multimedia" team at my church.

Hi, everybody! My name is Celeste, but you can call me toad, or whatever.
I just graduated from high school, and right now I'm planning on going to an International Business College in my area to study their Graphic Design course.
I've always been an art student (almost every art class my school offered + weekend art classes at a local art college) and I want to continue in the art field, specifically graphic design and commercial art.
Hope I blend in well with the guild. 3nodding

*waves at all* by the time anyone reads this i'll be a 21 year old (party time!) erm.... yes, 21 year old graphic design student at the School of Advertising Art in Ohio. I was supposed to have graduated by now, be this hot shot designer somewhere in a major city, but alas, health conditions forced me to drop out. i'm returning this year, ie: thanksgivingish quarter. I have a powerbook, from when they first came out. the 15 and 1/2 inch one. I'm here to really get back into art, as i've taken a break for the last year. i did Photography and Tattoo for a while (actual tattooing. it was fun, but alas, i started work too soon. health made me quit again) ect. the whole story is, college gave me a nervous breakdown, and i'm just now starting to be a bit more recovered.
anywho. i hope i fit in. and if not, deal with it =P j/k

My name is Sarah, but most my online friends address me as 'Lu, L, or Illu. Or you can call me Abbey / Absinthium, but that's really the name of my avatar sweatdrop
I'm basically self-taught in Graphic Design, spare for some online tutorials when I felt the need. I do it as a hobby, but I'm considering studying it in university. I started seriously learning web-design around the year 2002, with Neo-Pages, and LissaExplains as guidance. I've developed my skills since then, or so I hope X3;

i'm a frustrated designer but not formally educated in graphic design. i love images and some graphics. designing become a hobby and i tried making website design and some banners here at Gaia.

Hi My Name is Jessica, but you can call me Jess...I'm becomming very interested in he graphic Design work area, and I might start to take a class on it my 12th year of high school, I'm messing around with Banners I make, but they aren't what you call good....*laughs* I wanted to join this Guild to open my mind up more to the wonders of such creativity, and I really love to doodle and paint, Favorite things to do, and so I thought it would of been fun trying something different with the arts ^___^ <3

David here, a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon. I'm actually an engineer, but I have a deep interest in art and have a lot of experience with it. I mainly do photography, but I also do web design, design layouts, and origami (which go nicely on the web). PHP is my strongest area, and I've been using that in combination with CSS to create some decorative websites. Anyway, thought I'd join to get some more ideas and maybe help out anyone else's ideas. Hopefully, I have enough time to check here often. cool

Hiii <3 Around the Internet I'm either known as Mikaesu or Lain. I started Photoshopping four years ago and since then most of my skills have been pretty much self-taught (though I've read a few tutorials here and there). I got my first domain a while back @ http://leonhart.net -- the layout is REALLY bad at the moment. I haven't coded in ages and chosing font color was a pain in the butt so I gave up and just threw whatever on. It's going to be fixed later. Etc etc etc. I'm also into photography, although my camera screen recently shattered so that's a pain in the butt <_<; More background info about me? I'm 16 and am going to be a Senior in high school. They have graphics design courses in the HS but it's pretty much easy stuff that I already know how to do ... that and my dad won't let me take classes in them anyway since it'll "look bad for colleges". Puaha. So yeah, what I do is basically a hobby. I'm not looking too much into doing it as a career- unless it's for extra money (which I am definitely looking for ninja ) Extra info - my work is either mostly or completely brush free. I do NOT take other people's work, paste it on a canvas, add an image, and then call it my own work. -____-;;

*prods in and looks around* Hello everyone, Kyo here. I'm 18 (well, almost, 12 days to go!), female, and I love graphic design. I've been doing it for a good 8 or 9 years now, on my own, learning from tutorials and just playing around on my own. I'm not the best, and I will never claim to be, but I do feel I'm at least pretty damn good heart I hope to learn a lot from you guys here, and maybe share some of my own wisdom (if I can ever get over my stupid problem of not being able to teach people anything >.<)
Anyway, my favorite types of graphics are either ones based around anime images, or effects, I'm an effects nut, I just love them. I also like rainbow, gold, and green themed graphics because I think I'm best with those colors. I also dabble in web design, but I dont' like the coding aspect as much as the actual graphics, but I'm slowly getting better at it. Once I get a new domain host I'll be sure to put up my website for you all to look at (it has a really nice layout, without any anime on it...which for me, is a rare thing xo)
Anyway, I love anime, manga, writing, reading, roleplaying, graphic design (of course, or I woulnd't have come here), music (techno, alternative, alternative rock, j-rock, j-pop, and a few others.), anthros/furries, white tigers, squirrels, and various other things you'll have to get to know me to find out more...
annd, that's it, off to my first day of senior high school I go! (I go to a career school instead of a normal high schol for computer programming and networking..fun...although, last year I won regionals in graphic designs, but lost in the states...I'll get em this year!)
