She smiled. This was the most interaction she had with others in along time. It seemed that between the three of them, they just couldn't find one. She would be happy for either of them, slightly more for Fick if he gets one.

Z'el had no idea where others had previously looked, which was a problem. He'd tried to keep his eye on them, but it was just too much for his attentions to handle. It would be more efficient to search areas where no one else had looked, but he had no idea what those areas would be. Sighing, he moved on to another patch of sand, his hands sifting through it.

The young girl turned and caught a look at the other two with her. She grinned to herself. What an unlikely trio for egg hunting they made. It was amusing, and yet she rather enjoyed the company instead of looking alone. "Alright guys, any eggs around?" She asked the flits. Boreal gave a quick cheep and flipped his wings to his back.

Kicking some sand aside, Z'el sighed as he moved to yet another new stretch of beach. Were the little critters even worth this much annoyance? He could be inside now eating more lunch, or hanging with Challiath and planning their next great escapade...but he still couldn't give up this easily!

Fffffffffffff! Bah! Arg! Lucky wench. Despite a heavy sigh of disappointment, Fick managed a pleased smile for the girl as well. "Congratulations again," he nodded, "looks like they did know what they were about, hu?" Some people had all the luck.

Well, it looked like some chick down the beach a ways had found an egg. Were the eggs scattered about then? Uggghhh, this was so confusing. Z'el tore into more sand, looking desperately for his own egg.

(Congrats to all of the winners! Congrats M'dear, VDL, Revel, She-Ra! )
Everyone else just seemed to be so much more vital than she herself was, she knew that she needed to pack on a bit of meat to her thin frame and she would once again be healthy enough to run and hurry about. Panting heavily Ashmere finally made it to the beach and flopped down onto her knees, a thin layer of sweat had already gathered at her brow.

Assuming that Boreal didn't have an idea she started walking. A warning squawk stopped her just in time. There was a nest at her feet. You found the nest Wyklamine. You should pick a tiny egg cause you are tiny too. Wykla grumbled, "you're lucky I don't have a short complex." Gingerly she reached down and picked Red/Purple egg.
"Aawww don't worry Rikki. You'll guys will find one too. I can stick around and rub my luck off on you." She smiled encouragingly.

Twisting her bottom lip between her teeth the wherhandler in training swallowed down the disgust as she began to scoop at the mound of sand, her steely gray eyes scanned the others upon the beach, it was so odd she knew most of the people but she had never felt more like a stranger than what she did now.
