Summon Speed/Strength: Unknown, these two inch monsters are non-combatant. Once they are tamed, they can become warped and malevolent if they are left for an extended period of time without a feeding. Upon opening their compartment, they will attack everyone within close vicinity and cause 50 DMG per bite. A single blow from a magical or physical attack will kill a snake. Killing one of them will immediately make the rest of the monsters highly evasive, however, so only one of them can be killed per player post. There is no way to change them back and they must be killed in order for new snakes to appear. Mimosa would then have to start the taming process over again on these new snakes.
Summon Skills:

Messenger (Passive)

Each Nokri medicine chest is inhabited by several inter-dimensional creatures. These two-inch monsters are drawn towards broken jars and are able to slip in and out of a pocket of space that allows them to travel great distances in a short time. The Nokri tame these beasts into becoming their familiars and use them to relay messages and small items between the wooden chests of one Nokri member to another. The monsters have no combatant skills in their normal state.

In order for them to act as messengers, they need to be tamed by being fed with the cleric's blood for five feedings. Each taming session involves 5 snakes and each snake requires 20 HP worth of blood. Afterwards, they require a regular feeding once every 20 posts. Snakes that have been sent away on an errand and have not come back do not require feedings.

When a feeding is skipped, they will warp into a more malevolent form that must be eradicated from the compartment that they haunt in order for new ones to inhabit. If the cleric can not destroy it, she has the option to seal the compartment away with paper talismans but it will disable her ability to communicate with her kin until the monster is destroyed.

H i s t o r y: Athena is a shrewd companion of heroes throughout history and is the goddess of heroic endeavour. In Classical Greek myths, she never consorts with a lover, nor does she ever marry, earning the title Athena Parthenos. A remnant of archaic myth depicts her as the adoptive mother of Erechtheus/Erichthonius through the foiled rape by Hephaestus. She has earned her position as the patroness of Athens.

Athena however has become lost on her way back to Athens, sucked into the Rykros realm with the gods there. Being not considered one of their major powers, she sits to the side, waiting to find a way back to her own realm. In the last several centuries of being stuck, she has grown bored and seen fit to help adventurers once more, this time aiding Kira in her struggles like the heroes of old.

Athena can summon this food to her hand at will. This food will heal all wounds from any weapon aside from a divine weapon. However repeated ingestion of this food can cause a person to literally combust and fade from existence. Limit once per combat and 15 times in a players life.

Striking the ground with her spear, Athena unleashes a violent wave of energy, dealing moderate damage and sending people away from herself several yards. High chance for target to be prone on strike.

Sonic Strike

Athena takes a step forward, spear posed for a throw. With a sudden blast of energy, she lets the spear loose. The spear will surge forward at her target, a sonic boom heard from the spear as it breaks the sound barrier After the weapon stops moving it will reform as a mote of light in Athena's hand before solidifying back with its owner. This treats the target to a sever speed penalty vs dodging this attack.

Ghost Steed

Moving in a manner of which one would mount a horse, Athena calls forth a spectral horse allowing her to perform mounted combat until she either dismisses the horse or it is destroyed.

A bright light blaring from the eyes of Medusa on Athena's shield, This will turn anyone looking at the shield to stone. This can be healed with the proper technique from a cleric of the good nature only.

Purifying Flames
Rank: SSS
Athena herself projects fire from the Avatar sent to help Kira. These flames start at her feet as a brief spark of fire before charging across the field in a massive wall of heat, dealing massive damage to all that it touches. On contact magic resistance is ignored, armor melts, glass turns to sand. Everything in this form of wrath is laid to waste.

• Athena's avatar cannot die, only be dispersed. She can be resummoned to the field after a short time. ( a short rest. ) This needs an actual post cooldown/wait.
• Attempting to place Athena under an illusion has a very slim chance of success, and will be down to the crew/vc to determine.
• Attempting to read the Goddesses mind will cause severe mental backlash to the reader. This will be the equivalent of SSS rank mental damage to the mindreader. Denied. A ranking summon shouldn't be able to do this kind of damage at the start. And most times at all.

Stats:
Strength: 7
Speed: 13
The speed stat is rather high for a trainee-ranked summon, since it is a ranking summon. Maybe a 10 instead and can be revisited at a later rank?

So is this a rubble ring then? Or more of a dome? And what is the actual range of it?

This is much too low a rank for a full heal. Needs to be at least A rank.

There's no range to this and no definite chance to being knocked prone. As it, an opponent would only be knocked down if they felt like it.

Sound Barrier at rank B? And what kind of penalty? This skill is worded pretty badly and as stands unable to be approved.

This should only last a certain time before the cost needs to be paid once more. But this does make a good way to have transportation for your character as well, if you'd like to add that in.

• Attempting to read the Goddesses mind will cause severe mental backlash to the reader. This will cause them to be immediately blinded, dazed, and stunned for 1 post, and blinded for 3 more posts after the effects.
Now I'm confused. Unless someone has made a talent for mind reading, the only ones who do so are Seers, who are already blind. The only thing that would be in effect here is stunning. To be quite honest, I see no reason to even have this an ability for a summon. This is something you'd more want for a character since summons need to be, well, summoned. They won't be around 24/7 where you feel a need to protect some kind of secret.

Seems we've had a bit of that going around. If you want these stats in a just starting summon, you're going to be losing a couple abilities. That's the trade-off.

Rank C is not a high cost. Period. And making a full heal just for C energy is not a balanced trade.

I know it's not a barrier. I was remarking about breaking the sound barrier. And to have a -3 to dodge would bump this up a rank.

Theres a reason its this high of a rank. )
I had to ask since we do have a couple skills in the guild that extend beyond a single thread to encompass a full city. And it seems to conflict now. The description talks of a wall but your note to my question makes it sound more of a caster-centered AoE. Which version is it?

Im going to say it like this then.

third trait: The summon is protecting information...very valuable information that contains the infinite knowledge of the universe. Something no player should should ever have access to. Which the player would have access to if they went into the avatars mind. Because people tend to roleplay like this, it is a precaution. Plus she is going to be my primary summon which is why the strength is highish.

Stats: Again I was told to use twenty points and alocate them as such. Ive already dropped abilities because you told me to, any more and she isnt a themeable summon for a chance of plot, but becomes a normal mage/fighter.

Ambrosia: Reread the technique and you will see it does indeed have a high cost. I can only use this a total of 15 times in the lifetime of my player. Considering i have to get 9 kills for my tails means if im close to death each combat, i have 6 left for random combat or scuffles. I can remove it entirely but this stuff took a long time to think up :/

Sonic strike: Remove or suggest something, since it goes up to max SSS rank I thought B would be sufficient.

SSS technique thingy: Its a cone starting from the avatars feet that spreads outwards. Still an aoe but a directional aoe on her front arc.

Forgive any shortness but im rather irritated at the moment.

Athena can summon this food to her hand at will. This food will heal all wounds from any weapon aside from a divine weapon. However repeated ingestion of this food can cause a person to literally combust and fade from existence. Limit 15 times in a players life. Useable outside combat only.

Astral Wave

Striking the ground with her spear, Athena unleashes a violent wave of energy, dealing moderate damage and sending people away from herself. The wave travels 20 feet in front of her in a cone. Target is prone on hit and thrown back 30 feet violently.

Sonic Strike
B rank
Athena takes a step forward, spear posed for a throw. With a sudden blast of energy, she lets the spear loose. The spear will surge forward at her target, a sonic boom heard from the spear as it breaks the sound barrier After the weapon stops moving it will reform as a mote of light in Athena's hand before solidifying back with its owner. This treats the target to a severe speed penalty (-2)vs dodging this attack.
Ghost Steed
A Rank
Moving in a manner of which one would mount a horse, Athena calls forth a spectral horse allowing her to perform mounted combat until she either dismisses the horse or it is destroyed. Steeds are dismissed after combat. Can be re-summoned at will.


Judgment Wave
Rank: S
A wave of energy similar to the astral wave, Athena performs a spin and slashes her spear through the air in front of her. This sends out a wave of Divine energy that will cause Severe damage and send people away from her quite a distance. This technique when performed spans 50 feet on either side of Athena and another 50 into the air.

Petrification Ray
Rank: SS
A bright light blaring from the eyes of Medusa on Athena's shield, This will turn anyone looking at the shield to stone. This can be healed with the proper technique from a cleric of the good nature only.


Purifying Flames
Rank: SSS
Athena projects fire from the Avatar sent to help Kira. These flames start at her feet as a brief spark of fire before charging across the field in a massive wall of heat, dealing massive damage to all that it touches. On contact magic resistance is ignored, armor melts, glass turns to sand. From Athena to the very edge fo the thread's area, a large cone of devastation remains.

Rancor

The Rancor is a very strange creature indeed, created by mixing features of all manner of creatures into one. No one quite knows how they came to be, and there are many stories surrounding theor origin, but the most accepted is that they are the product of a summon gone horribly wrong. It has the body of a normal horse, but is about twice the size. Six legs – long and double-jointed like a spider’s legs – moved beneath its massive torso. Its head is narrow and pointy – like that of a poisonous snake, and it has six slit-like eyes, three on each side of its head. From its lip protrudes two very large fangs.

It is a peaceful; it loathes to be used in combat (and will make its distaste known if one tries). However, it is a very effective mode of transportation, as its six legs make it very swift – it possesses three times the speed of a normal horse (and twice the arrogance). Rancor are also known for their intelligence. While they cannot speak, they can communicate with those that can speak with their minds, and will often surprise with its cunning.
Taming a Rancor however, is no mean feat. Their pride and arrogance make to it troublesome to get they to submit, but once they do, they will never cause trouble....not too much of it anyways.

Lana obtained one as a gift, and uses it to pull the troupe cart...and for occasional joy rides or conversation. The Rancor is named Ji, after Jiaum

Altered the profile because these aren't really summons or pets. As part of the circus troupe, i cant to include all sorts of performers and wanted to make sure this was okay. They are more NPC's than anything else.



Other Animals of the Circus (strictly for performance unless made into a combat summon and approved)
- Various wild cats
- Two giraffes
- Four monkeys
- Various aquatic animals (Seals, a whale, dolphins, tropical fish, sea turtles)


The Succibi
Lana’s troupe aims to delight both the young and the old, and the succubi never fail to delight the old and the horny. Devastating in their beauty, deadly in their seduction, these creatures offer entertainment for the male audience, often through sensual dance...or the dirtier dance.
Normally these demons gain sustenance by draining the life force from their victims through sex, but Marco has struck a deal with these creatures. They get shelter and a nearly unlimited source of sustenance– as long as they leave the victims alive, taking only a little from each.


The Fae (same as the main BL)
These tiny, pretty creatures have no role in the circus, but they do many little jobs around the troupe – passing along messages, maintaining shops, preparing food – and are essential to its smooth running.


The Humans
Many peace and performance loving humans, with talents as varied as the colors of the spectrum, have joined the troupe over time, acting as dancers, singers, vendors, actors, mimes and all sorts innumerable jobs.


The Kurenoburo
There are only three employed by the troupe, and they are enigmas to all. Their acts are as numerous as their tails, but they mostly act as a far easier to manage creature performers.



The Idols
Excluding Marco, the troupe has five idols that compose and perform the music used in most of the troupe’s performances. They are a somewhat reclusive group when they are not performing, and the enmity between them has no rival within with troupe. Marco is the only Idol (other than themselves) they all love and respect.


The Reapers and Anima Machines
The great strength the reapers posses make them excellent bodyguards. While all members posses some degree of defensive or offensive skill, the reapers are the strongest of the troupe. They act only as guards of the troupe town and the portal; they cannot be taken out to be used in other combat.

Only two Anima Machines exist in the troupe and they patrol certain high-risk areas of the town such as the succibi compound and the Cages. Very rarely are they needed.

Lana’s pygmy – named Pidgin –is a circus creature, used for tricks to delight audiences. However, Marco has taken it upon himself to train the animal for use in combat – and also for use as an emergency shower.

Rather self-explanatory. Pidgin piecing the enemy with his tusks and rips the stomach from their bodies. Death usually inevitable.

A move that leaves little of enemy when it hits. If the enemy is at least 15 feet from Pidgin, the rider can provoke the creature to charge toward the enemy. If the move hits head on, the enemy – if below or equal to the rider in rank – is trampled to a bloody pulp. If the enemy is above the rider in rank, the move causes severe injuries – broken bones, damaged organs – that render the enemy unable to fight. The move must be a direct it to have this effect. Otherwise, that shaking of the ground merely makes it difficult for the enemy to maintain balance. Friendly-Fire possible; can hit up to three enemies at per charge.

Crush [400E, 7p CD] Rank S
If an enemy is directly below Pidgin’s head or front legs, he will raise to stand on his hind legs and bring his feet down on the enemies head, crushing them to a plump. Works on enemies 6’5’’ and smaller.

A legend tells of a people of the forest. Unlike other creatures, unlike ourselves, who seek to conquer and to destroy the trees of the forests to satisfy out own needs, these people lived in harmony with the trees. They treated them as friends, and in return the trees gave them what they needed, freely, without enmity. And when these people died, their spirits become one with the trees that they so loved, and greated these great trees, The Keeper Trees.

These great plants are the majesty of the forest, as a king is the majesty of his kingdom. Thrusting up to the sky, towering over other trees like a great monolith, they are often the largest trees of the forest, growing so large that 20 full grown men could form a circle about their trunks. They are often evergreens, green and alive even when the rest of the forest is bare and dead. From between the leaves, great moving vines thrust. These vines have incredible powers and it is rumoured that if one touches a vine, he or she can hear the whispering of the spirit within the tree.

Tree Energy: 3000
The tree has its own energy pool. Once the tree’s energy falls to zero, the tree dies and fades from the battlefield, to rest for a cool-down time of 10 posts.

An uncomfortable but usefull skill. If an ally is poisoned, the tree will touch them, ask the ally to open his or her mouth, and – if he or she complies – burrow its vine inside his or her mouth. The elixir from the vine is secreted into the body where it nullifies the poison.


Cage of Vines [350E] Rank C
The tree protects itself or an ally by forming a cage around itself or the ally with its vines. Can nullify up to Rank C attacks (and reduce the damage of attacks of higher rank by one third), but the vines become damaged in the process and all tree skills are reduced by one rank for six (Lana) posts.

Seems rather powerful for a B rank to essentially halt an enemy for 3 posts.

Lasts as long as the rider is willing to pay the energy cost. Essentially permanent off-balancing should you try to give it 3000 energy like you did with the tree? We'll have to discuss this skill and bring it back into a non-OP way.

Gouge [200E, 5p CD] Rank A
Rather self-explanatory. Pidgin piecing the enemy with his tusks and rips the stomach from their bodies. Death usually inevitable. A rank A skill with "usually inevitable death" and only a 5 post CD? Sorry, but denied -- we can bring this back as a major bleed skill, however.

A move that leaves little of enemy when it hits. If the enemy is at least 15 feet from Pidgin, the rider can provoke the creature to charge toward the enemy. If the move hits head on, the enemy – if below or equal to the rider in rank – is trampled to a bloody pulp. If the enemy is above the rider in rank, the move causes severe injuries – broken bones, damaged organs – that render the enemy unable to fight. The move must be a direct it to have this effect. Otherwise, that shaking of the ground merely makes it difficult for the enemy to maintain balance. Friendly-Fire possible; can hit up to three enemies at per charge. Auto-killing or auto-disabling until unable to fight ranked attacks are never found in Rykros without a massive post charge time and severe drawbacks should it be interrupted. Therefore, as is this skill is denied.

Crush [400E, 7p CD] Rank S
If an enemy is directly below Pidgin’s head or front legs, he will raise to stand on his hind legs and bring his feet down on the enemies head, crushing them to a plump. Works on enemies 6’5’’ and smaller. This again seems to imply auto-death or auto-disabling until able to fight. See notes above on Stampede.

Tree Energy: 3000This is the energy pool of a Master rank, not an A rank summon or even C rank summon which is all that Lana can use atm. More than likely the energy pool and energy costs will have to be reduced.
The tree has its own energy pool. Once the tree’s energy falls to zero, the tree dies and fades from the battlefield, to rest for a cool-down time of 10 posts. We'd need stats on the tree. Should it die, at least to my knowledge, it will be permanently dead and a new summon would have to be submitted and tamed.

This is vastly overpowered for a C rank heal as half of the health of a character can be well over what the strength of a C rank heal is. Furthermore, how does a C rank heal manage to seal an A rank wound such that it stops bleeding?
