Hurt and humiliated, the scareon had rage to work out, and she planned to take it in any way she could. Spotting the helpless-looking little flower-doe, the fox snarled, lip curled and fangs bared, making for the plantimal in a slow stalk.

These injustices would not pass, not if Ikki had anything to do with it. Her snarls grew quieter as she approached, her stalk closer to the ground while the distracted deer peered elsewhere.

Ikki paused behind one of the overturned tables, rolling her shoulders and trying to keep the low snarl to herself while she readied for the pounce that would make her day. She couldn't imagine that little doe having much fight in her, and she would do everything in her power to see her own frustrations fully relieved by the animal's helpless appearance.

Once the little ice-fox and her crystalline ears had folded close to one another, the vixen pounced, her kimono flapping in the air as she moved, fangs and claws bared each as much as the other. The doe, however, was not lacking in as much attention as Ikki suspected, and turned around to face her, a small collection of leaves erupting from the little bud it sat in and making for the waterfox with ferocity.

Ikki stared down Desutan for a long moment, neither moving. The audience that had gathered stared in anticipation, waiting. When, finally, someone moved, It was Desuchan, herself, hurrying down her pile to scoop up the doeplant and, after a moment, Desutan. The battle was lost, by both opponents, a fact made obvious as Desutan collapsed to the ground, about the same time Ikki's legs failed from under her, the pair of them falling into an unconscious stupor for a while. With a harumph, Desuchan had the fairy drag the offending fox from sight and discard the beast, so she could tend to the injured creatures without further threat.

A little while later, Ikki's eyes drifted open, where she had been deposited behind the stage, next to a small pile of similar challengers. Hurt, humiliated, and now abused by some little pink puff of a foxy witch, Ikki lay in her place for a few moments and cried. The little tears dried quickly in her fur, but the sounds of her little whimpers woke other combatants, who, very shortly, proceeded to do the same.

Ikki, who hadn't realized she'd not been alone, started to sit up, wincing when her cheek brushed her paw, now for two reasons. She peered around at the others in the area, minipets who had met similar frustrations and equal endings to them. Again, the Nurturer in her woke, having worked out most of her rage between mercilessly obliterating the doe and being mercilessly smacked into unconsciousness by that wretch of a cotton candy wad.

She would return to try again, and she would try to do better, next time. For now, Ikki decided she'd tend to the minipets who had made similar ends to her own, helping them up from the floor and licking wounds, or laying with them to cheer them up. It didn't seem to work very well, but it made some of them feel better, so she kept to it, a slow, relaxed smile crossing her maw as she enjoyed company and offered it, occasionally welcoming a new fallen challenger to the little corner, though it was nothing pleasant, to be where they were at. As their numbers grew, it became sort of like a medical ward, though a few of the 'nurses' eventually wandered back out towards their pets and the other Minis: For all minis know that it is not they, in the relationship with their students, who are the pets, the Monsters they live with, the taller bipeds that teach them to fight and train them to attack one another when stress, desire, or need urge on the intent, are not trainers, but instead, the creatures in desperate need of training, whom the Minis have opted to take under their wing.

Such deluded creatures, they are. But Ikki was unbothered by the musings shared by the ancient old slime. The topic was interesting, but there were other things she wished to do today. And since the Hologram projector seemed to be working again, she decided it was time to give the stage another shot, keeping what had happened last time in mind, and noting to herself not to take the mike, for any reason. The bipeds just didn't know what they were missing.

It was a failed attempt, however, as the tune and tone were often off, due to a lack of experience with the song.

At it's end, the crowd, wincing and flat-eared, growled at the stage, and food was thrown anyways, through the apparition, mostly. "That's uncalled for!" the disturbed hologram snarled at the watermelon catapulter, who stared at the effectless damage before turning a snarl to the Scareon, instead.

Once again, the timid-growing-worse Scareon sidled onto the stage between acts, no longer wearing the collar, though it was hooked together, all the same. Her eyes remained on the melon-tosser, narrow and suspicious about him. The little fox inched her way towards the microphone again before setting the collar down, scooting it slowly closer to the device, until a partial roll of cabbage zipped between her legs, and she scooted off with all speed, the thrower smiling sheepishly, and apologizing for the trigger finger. The music started, before the hologram, as it appeared, could give a snarled reprimand to the thrower of the veggie, with a song she had known her whole life, and now wondered how the hell it had been recorded. She quickly piped up with the words on the screen, a smile spreading with the amusing references to replace the old ones.

"Pass-ing slimes when they attack leave slime behind!
Pathlings fight with Boonagi!
Band of Mice and happy meals!
All-seeing Eyeballs floating over downed minis!
I got silver and a bat-tle-seeeeeed!"

The song came out easily, on-tune and belted the way it should be: To annoy the busdriver and gross out the other kids!

Ikki went to retrieve her collar, finding a little brown paper bag set in the ring it made, and decorated with a drawing of one of Desuchan's many pieces of phone decor. Or at least that's what Ikki was assuming the drawing was of. Not having gotten a decent look at the girl's phone meant the vulpine beast didn't know even a fraction of the details hanging from that overburdened little plastic hook. She shrugged into her collar again and dragged the bag off with her to wait for another turn for her pet to sing.
