Taking her hand out of William's grasp as the two walked through the doors and stood there for a moment, the micronation's hands skillfully drew themselves to her oversized pink hoodie, carefully grasping the zipper in her hands before she raised it, interlocking the small pattern before it was zipped up to her neck. It was too cold to have to deal with this and that storm over the park seemed more malevolent than anything else. As a waitress approached the two and began to lead them to a table, the young brunette knitted her large eyebrows together as she looked up to her mother. "William, d'yer think that Brettie'll be okay ou' in weather like this?"

"Sophomore and ready to learn!" ☀ The young New Zealander felt an aura familiar to the one yesterday. He sensed danger, but didn't see it anywhere. He pondered that maybe the grave looking storm that was forming over the park was the source, but there have been quite worse things he has dealt with than a furious storm. Nonetheless, William kept a warm smile when he and Adelaide both entered the restaurant. "Ah course. Tha Aussie is pretty strong. 'M pretty sure a little storm like tha one outside would be nothin' ta 'im." He spoke in a jolly tone as he looked back down to the young micro nation. Once they arrived to their assigned table and thanked the waitress, he slid into his seat, wiggling around until he was comfortable. "'Sides, he's 'prolly in his dorm room, adjustin' to tha new schedules and things." (Out of Wellington: )(Translation: )

She, too, had taken the time to adjust herself in the slightly-uncomfortable leather booth seats, but once she was in a position that she liked, she leaned back against the booth and let out a breath of air, tilted upwards, so that it blew some of her brunette bangs from her eyes. "'Cause also knowin'im he'd be out in the middle of that storm tryin' to scout out some adventure or somethin'." She said as her hazel eyes then scanned upwards from the table, to William, and then finally to the window where they were seated next to.

"Sophomore and ready to learn!" ☀ William chuckled softly as he scanned the meals written on the menu. "No doubt 'bout that. But 'M sure I didn't see 'im in that group gathered at tha park. Or at least I think I didn't..." They were pretty far away from the group, so he wasn't able to exactly see anyone's face clearly. The storm outside still gave him an abnormal feeling of uneasiness, even when he wasn't looking at it. The New Zealander thought it was probably because he wasn't used to the climate here, but still. Adelaide practically mumbled to herself as she propped up an elbow against the windowsill to her left, so she could at least lean on her hand while she stared absentmindedly out the window. As she stared at those clouds, her mind couldn't help but go back to that night, that night where she saw the Thunderbird. It was a terrifying scene to say the least. If she wanted to, she could close her eyes and paint a perfect portrait of the nightmare-fuel that was the large beast of unknown origin. Letting out another light sigh she then turned her head towards her mother, her head still resting against her hand. "Momma, y'know what those people are gathered in the park fer?" She asked, just to see if he knew and if she needed to tell him if he didn't.

Obviously, he didn't mind when she (or Hutt River) called him that since he couldn't get angry at her for almost anything, but if the anyone else decided to tease him with the nickname, all hell would go loose. William propped the menu back onto the table before looking back toward Adelaide. "I dun... But from what I saw, it wasn't somethin' we should mess with." She told her mother figure as she looked away from the window and down into her lap, clearly uncomfortable with telling William about her terrifying experience the night before but deciding that it was best that he knew the severity of the situation out there in the park. "Sophomore and ready to learn!" ☀ William's eyes slightly widened as he listened to Adelaide tell him the new information. Why wasn't he told sooner about all of this? If the so called monster even laid one of its dirty claws on his little girl then no mercy would be shed from the native Maori. "Seriously..? I didn't know 'bout any 'a this. I 'ope she's okay..." The young brunette mused softly before the waitress returned to the table with pen and paper in hand, ready to take their orders. When asked about what she would like, Adelaide sighed softly before she looked up at the woman. "I'd like a seafood scampi please." She said before she closed her menu and handed it to the woman who accepted it happily before asking William what he wanted.
