Freshman "Hm?" Charlotte turned to see where Alfred was at the moment when she heard the door knock. "Sorry, I'll get back to you on that question Lili. I'm gonna go answer the door for Alfred."Quickly she rinsed off her hands and dried off before reaching the door. "Yes?" she answered. The state blinked for a moment. She couldn't believe her eyes. "Well if it isn't Tennessee! What brings ya here stranger?" she asked with a huge smile. everyone is called 'darling',
"yall" is a proper noun,
sweet tea is the house wine,
and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Alfred looked tword the door as North opened it and spoke to another of his states. His hands slid from the cats heads and rested agenst Arthur's hands just barely. He was currently hugging a pillow after all.

Freshman / Ninth Grader Garden Club Member Lili was about to answer the question when there was a knock outside the dorm room. Was Ludwig checking to see how Arthur was doing. Lili checked the time to see it was past lunch. It couldn't be the German. He would sooner give up drinking than skip classes. Maybe Francis? It would fit his character to skip classes to come harass poor England while he was sick... "Take your time, Charlotte. I need to start cooking anyways."
She mixed everything that needed to be mixed together and began to cook the potato soup, making sure to stir constantly so that way nothing settled to the bottom and scorched. She would have to do this for nine minutes before the soup was done, but it would be well worth it. Meanwhile, Lili heard Charlotte address someone named Tennessee. Was he another of Alfred's states? Lili wondered what he was doing out of class, but then concluded it was none of her business and that she should focus more on making lunch so that way everyone could eat.
"I love to see you working hard,
...but please don't over do it.
I'm worried sick about you."

 Tennessee nearly crushed North Carolina into a hug when he saw his fellow state. Thank God it was another Southerner and his neighbor at that. When he regained his composure he let the older state go and took a small step back to give her some proper personal space. "Sorry 'bout that," he muttered and was embarrassed by his over enthusiasm. "My boss made me come when he found out about the school. He says my education system grades aren't so good and I need to study harder..."

"Well... I figure it's prob'ly 'cause you're not so smart, either," Tennessee assumed as he looked over North Carolina's shoulder at America. He meant no harm by it, but the national average wasn't exactly an A+ if he remembered his boss' complaining correctly. "I think some states came 'cause they actually wanted to, though... Not totally sure. My boss kinda blindsided me with this so I didn't get to talk to anyone before I was shipped out here."

 Alex Gilbert GonzalesAlex was on his way to class when he spotted Tennessee at America's dorm. "Hey there Tennessee" He said then noticed America. "Hello sir," He said ,trying be formal. His southern drawl was noticeable.

Freshman The Carolinain just about squeeled in delight by her neighboring state's hug. She smiled at him. "That's alright.""I thought Alfred was here because of this is a school filled with other countries. I actually asked permision to attend here." she said adding on to the conversation. Then she heard another familiar voice that sounded a bit more polite than normal. Charlotte looked over Tennessee's shoulder to find another state. "Well shut my mouth and hope to spit! How ya doing Alex?" the North couldn't resist letting her accent roll whenever she got excited. For a good while she was the only state attending the school. everyone is called 'darling',

Tennessee wrinkled his nose at the thought of anyone honestly wanting to coem to school or study. "Well, at least it won't be so bad if you're here," he said before turning around to face Texas. "Hey, Texas," Tennessee said with a smile for the Lone Star State. He was definitely happy to see his old friend. "Did you get sent here, too, or come on purpose?"

*best junior ever* Alfred's face flushed when he felt Arthur grab his hand and it brought his attention back to the Brit. He was glad for the distraction from his noise and annoying states.
"Are you feeling better?"
He asked quietly. Freedom seemed concerned as well.
