Molly tightened her hold on him almost hiding behind him from her parents. She felt like she didn't know anything anymore, she wasn't sure what to think of them, or even herself. She glanced at her mother then at father and quickly looked away from their eyes, their lying deceitful eyes that had kept so much from her. "I can't talk to them," she whispered brokenly to Caiden putting her face against his shoulder to hide her expression. "I just can't..." She felt the sting of tears but forced them not to fall. She would not cry in front of her parents.

Caiden nodded and pulled Molly close to him as he held her in his arms protectively "Then we won't" he bent down and tilted her head to kiss her "What do you wanna do then Molly, love?" he asked smiling as he kissed her hair as well.

She closed her eyes as he kissed her lips gently and she thought for a moment she would wake up and find this to be a dream. A good dream or bad, she didnt know yet. She shuddered leaning her body against him. "I dont know yet," she whispered to him quietly. "I've never been to things like this, I dont know how I should act, or what to do." She lifted her head to look at him. "Your prince, you know how these things work."

Caiden smiled a bit sad "I do in times and other times well.....let's leave that blank" he grinned "I would like you to choose, I don't want to have to choose for you" he looked down at her as he caressed her cheek.

Molly blushed glancing around the ballroom to see everyone looking at her like they expected her to do something. "What do I need to do?" She looked back at him. "I dont know how to act the part."

"Ignore everyone, even me if you must. Keep your focus on your parents and what you want to say. It's only you and your parents, there is no one else here." Caiden smiled and kissed her "It always helps me"

Molly shook her head and sighed. "No, its different this time." She looked at him, afraid and scared, more like a little girl then the adult she was. She hated that everything had changed. "You just dont get it," she said pushing past him and ignoring everyone went upstairs to her room,or rather the room she was in earlier. She didn't care what people said about her, she was leaving. She couldn't be here anymore. She threw off her dress, changed into something decently normal and got everything she could carry together.

Caiden sighed, he had failed trying to get Molly to open up more to him. He walked over to the wall and punched it and then leaned against it.

Molly gave up trying to get her clothes and things to fit in the small bag, as well as trying to see through the tears that pooled her eyes now. She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and starred at the unknown person looking back at her. this life of jewels, and parties, and fancy dresses, it was fun, but she wanted to be home. With her friends, finishing school before she ever thought of coming to be royalty.

Caiden slumped to the floor and punched the bedpost hard, he wanted to destroy and vent. Molly was going to leave and it was all his damn fault and punched the wall again harder.

Molly waited until she was sure no one would be wandering the hall before making it down to the prince's room. She wanted to see him, needed to see him again. "Caiden?" She whispered pushing his bedroom door open.

Caiden's head snapped up as he quickly cleaned the blood from his fist and went to his door, "Yes, Molly?" He asked smiling.
