Calder slid up next to Cade when he was done, patting him on the back. "Don't worry about it. I had to try over and over before I could win, but you don't loose anything for it. At least we're not sprinting about with this game." Though he did like running.
Grabbing the jobstick, he tried to angle as best he could and gave it a go. Like her, he didn't do too well. "Ah. See. It's tricky. Want to try another booth? If your tired, I know a place we can rest a bit." Specifically where he could show off Cade to some of his friends.

Malodore paused in front of the crane game, then stepped up to take its turn. Alas, the crane controls seemed to be stuck, and it didn't manage to get anywhere near a rock!

HARD ROCK (( naggeela ))
Coming back to the crane game to see if he would be lucky again. Adyian started to push the buttons to move the claw around to see if it would grab one of those rocks for him. This time he had been luck as the claw did grab a rock and it fell down and out came a seed. To him that was very neat and he would have to come again to get more later on.

Beat down more than a bit, Yorugami grumbled and plodded along. Okay so he failed at the first booth game he'd tried, and earned himself nothing. He didn't have anything to start with anyway. He huffed to himself. This was the reasons he hated going to big festivals and events of a similar kind. He lost always lost more than he won.
Blinking, he turned to see a scarecade contraption displaying rather vague emoticon like designs. WTF? He thought to himself.
Drawing near, he peered into the shiny rocks in the machine and cocked his head to the side, much like a bird. Shiny. Shiny was always good, he mentally commented. Shiny + Free was even better. It seemed this contraption was free to play since it didn't seem to have a slot of a seed...or silver.
Rubbing his clawed hands together, he hunched his shoulders and breathed deeply. Okay you demonic boil you, he muttered to himself, let's give this a go and hope you win something.
THUNK
....double drat.
Yorugami cursed as he saw the shiny rock he'd been trying to maneuver fall and revealing nothing underneath.
His luck today seemed horrendous.

Ulmuka was looking to get a few extra seeds. He wasn't very greedy but he did enjoy spending freely. He approached his old nemesis the crane machine. He'd ignored it for quite a while but found himself drawn back once again.
FOILED AGAIN! His moves were just not up to snuff.

Oppa was back again having gone the rounds through the games he always felt that this one was the one he pushed off to last. Oh crane game, how cruel you are. Oppa was feeling defeated before he even stepped up to the machine.
He pressed the button and felt the machine start up. He was starting to feel some fire at the prospect of winning something from the machines evil clutches. He motioned the claw over a pile near the opening, hoping to maybe knock something in if he couldn't grab it legitimately. The claw went down, and caught the side of the opening and landed sideways grabbing nothing. Oppa frowned.

Willow headed back towards the crane game after a disappointing loss at the balloon game. Her tail flickered as she waited her turn at the crane game, and when it was her turn she maneuvered the claw to try to get a rock... Well she wasn't having luck today willow's tail flickered as she shrugged softly and headed off towards another booth.

HARD ROCK [sn: Frigoris]
"Turn signals?" Ennéa looked about the Floresctival and the milling crowds. "But I don't think there's any roads here, Maddie, or if there are they're all closed for the festival. It'd be dangerous with cars around and this many people."
She paused and thought about it for a while. "Do you think monsters have cars?" she asked. "I mean it'd be fine for a zombie -- though then again they might leave icky stains on the car seat, hm. But with creatures as big as you, don't you think it might be a bit too cramped to drive properly? Or maybe they have really big cars...."
Ennéa absently fiddled with the crane game's controls as she chattered on and blinked in surprised as the machine did a little chime to signify that she won something. "Oh hey!" she cried happy.
She grinned at her friend, "I won something!" Ennéa stepped aside from the machine. "Do you want to try?" she asked, gesturing to the game.

Madison had watched breathlessly as Ennea played the game - she had, evidently, realized that the claw had picked up a seed prize far sooner than the zombie-golemed Hunter. "Hush about all that, though," she said, leaning foward to speak to Ennea in low tones. "I don't know, like, if they have that kind of thing... we don't want to give ourselves away, right? Aria would be really mad..."
Then, more loudly, "Sure! Badison try," she grunted.
A sound rather like a laugh being smothered emanated from Kouki.
"Ah well," she sighed. "Badison do bad job! Next game, zombie-friend?"
This time, she lumbered off first, heading for the bat balloon game.

Was it her? Was it something wrong with the game? Ys couldn't seem to get the controls to respond. Instead, the claw jerked back and forth as if it had a mind of its own, dropping suddenly and sometimes stopping and sitting, wasting precious seconds on the timer. As the last seconds ticked away, it looked like she might just barely be able to get a rock in time... but no, it slid out of the claws at the last second and then her time was up.

Before had been given ONE seed. ONE! He had a mission to do and he only had one shot at being successful with it! He'd gone past all the other game booths, mostly because he couldn't see s**t being the tiny little female imp-golem that he was in. ;A; Seriously. Everything? WHY ARE YOU ALL SO ******** TA-hey did that creature just play something without paying?! O____________O?!?!?!
The hunter-in-golem's clothing half-ran, half-skipped towards the Crane Game with wide, curious eyes and a slack jaw. ORLY? FREEEEEEEE? 8DDDDD Making sure the seed was safe, Before struggled to climb up onto the control panels. Oh s**t. THIS was going to be tricky so he was totally not going to hold his breath.

Oppa was back again. His eyes flared at the machine. It must be enchanted with some kind of frustration hex. Which is pretty ingenious, and Oppa would save that idea away for later.
He pushed the start button with fervor, determined to make the damned thing give him a prize! Nothing happened, he pushed it again, nothing. He started spinning the stick around wildly and pushed the button rapid fire! "COOMMOOONNNNN" Suddenly the machine started up and the claw spun around wildly in the same pattern that he frustratedly wielded the stick before. The claw went up and down several times in random patterns before finally returning to the start with no prize. Oppa watched in horror as this all unfolded, his mouth gaping open. After a few seconds he muttered "that was fing awesome..."

Coming back to the crane booth to see if he would have any more luck with this machine, the last time he had been lucky and maybe this time he would be too, but who knew. Adyian started to push the buttons to make the claw move to one of the rocks that he hoped it would pick and bring back.
But this time the claw came back up empty handed as it when back to its starting point. He would be back to see if he could get more seeds as he walked off to play other games that he had better luck with.

Malodore stopped at the crane game next. Even though it hadn't had as much luck here, the game was entertaining enough that it didn't mind losing. Which was fortunate, because it wasn't winning this time, either.

The shiny rocks eluded the claw machine's claw with uncanny frequency. Ys watched them carefully with narrowed eyes, fairly sure she had seen one or two of them actually sidle away from the grasping claws. Maybe it was just her imagination. Maybe...
