A day in the life of Ash? She listened to Astra as she detailed the things she did. Not much more different from the banshee, honestly. " Well a bit ago I was the ScreeJay for Prom. Let's see, I've had Sex Ed class... that's the only one, really. Oh geez. By the way, don't squish any bugs you see around, okay? Or eat them if that's your taste. Nurse Cricket doesn't like that." The way she spoke of the Nurse Ghost was a sort of reverent terror. There wasn't too much more besides - " Oh, and I'm running for Student Council Vice President! I promise to bring the fun to the school! Hm, you know, have more things like this festival and the Open House where prospective like you can come and visit the school more. Stuff like that." She glanced over the very tall stranger, not recognizing him. Another prospective or a student she hadn't met yet? She was about to laugh at the joking taunt that he threw at the gnome... was is it Bobert? But then she realized how very... upset he looked about it. Making friends with an undead could be useful, she hadn't bothered trying yet. It could help her campaign! " Hey! Leave him alone, he's my friend!" To be further convincing of this fact she stepped closer to the rotting gnome. She scowled up at the tall figure, hair floating about her face.

It started with a little snort. A little one. The snort wibbled into a choked giggle, the sound almost too feminine to come from such a large boil. The giggle coalesced into a laugh that Herryk was too slow to stifle, and from there ... well, from there came the guffaws. Loud, belly-aching guffaws. Now, Herryk wasn't a cruel boil, nor was he mean -- and he certainly wasn't a bully.
It was just that... well. The gnome was so cute. You know, in the way that foxfires were cute. Not like... cute in the way that hot ghouls were cute. Completely different.
"Little man has a big attitude! Herryk could crush you, but he won't. Squish!"
More laughing. Loud laughing.

Robert was listening to Ash. He really was - because everything she was saying was important. It was simply.. not in the cards for him to respond in an appropriate manner. When he heard the big guy taunting him, he stood out of reflex, and cracked his neck.
"Somebody better hold me back, because I'm about to choke a b***h."
Hey, he knew how to climb trees, right? This guy would be no different.

"You're going to choke a what?" Aislin's expression went blank as she tried to process what Bobert was talking about. Whatever it was though, he seemed to be getting awfully riled up. "Well alright, but I don't see the point." She leaned down, a considerable way considering her height was something near 5'8'' already, and grabbed a hold of the undead's shirt.

When Herryk found himself being scolded by a rather pretty banshee, he really tried to stop laughing. Really and honestly, he did. Rubbing his palm down his face, Herryk cleared his throat and spoke, though a smile threatened his lips the entire time he responded to the banshee.
"Heeey. Herryk is just making a joke. It is funny." He held up his hands as if to say 'no harm done' but he ruined the effect by giggling. Like a girl.
And then the gnome cracked his neck.
Herryk lost it, again.

Sura regarded the protection charm she was offered with a sort of curiosity, eyes tinged with yellow. It looked like she should have been able to open it. However, what she managed to do was tear the thing asunder. Well, that was interesting.... .... .....
The protection charm followed the path of the table leg, the spookies, and the hat. Right down to her stomach. Her eyes flashed red as she did so.
"Tastes horrible." she deemed, growling a bit. However, on Herryk's lead it seemed he was..looking..at..something? Her eyes turned back to that shade of yellow as she stared down at what seemed to be the tiniest thing ever. At least from her colossal standards.
Her eyes flashed straight back to red as she crouched down on all fours to observe Robert.
"You." her voice reverberated through her chest as she reached out with a massive hand, aiming to grab the small gnome. "You are more definitely...small.....and squishable...." she made a thrumming noise that sounded more like the groan of a bridge about to collapse under a massive amount of weight. Probably bigger than the dinosaurs in any monster movie.
Her eyes slowly shifted from the dominant red to tinge with green.
She was truly considering if Robert would fit into her massive mouth or not.

As soon as he felt those hands holding him back, he was squirming like a madman trying to run at Herryk. He didn't move an inch, but he certainly looked like he was trying.
Until Sura caught his attention.
Okay, there are fairies and ghosts and big bullies, but then there's that, and that is not something a human should ever have to see without a change of underwear.
Robert plopped down onto his a** quickly, and slumped. "I'm done."

Madison had sat with Ennea as the... creatures... interacted with Robert. Silence seemed the best option, by far. Silence and observation. Something which Ennea seemed very good at; the currently-zombie Hunter seemed to be making mental notes on every monstrous being that came near.
Inside her mind, Kouki finally sighed and... well, uncurled, mentally speaking. Our apologies. It is always hard to go home, you understand. We have had many battles here, great and small, and the tide of memory is deep and powerful.
Oh, yes, of course.
We did enjoy festivals, though, truly we did. The lights and the lanterns and the prizes and food. You should try the food. We would enjoy the memory of your tasting it. The serpent-sword sounded wistful for a moment... but the moment passed, quickly. But we are also here on a mission. Ennea knows; see how she stores everything away! She will be an excellent observer.
And us? What will we be?
Madison got the sense that Kouki was smiling, four sets of fangs glistening in the dark. Spies.
... But look to your Phoenix-brother.
Madison, startled, snapped out of her mental reverie to see Robert declare he was done. She stood up quickly, bones creaking, and bent down to pick him up between thumb and forefinger. "Friend gnome come with me," she... tried... to rumble. Judging by the black-skinned thing, 'big' here also came with 'stupid', so she had to act the part.
((Have permission from Nio to tote Robert around in her absence!))

Marosa had to smirk at this Herryk fellow; he was very unique, that was for sure. Not quite that bright in the brains department, and a slight simpleton (he wouldn't say so aloud), but... he kind of liked this guy. Marosa walked over to Astra and crouched down beside her, his wings fluttering slightly. "Are ye alright?" He was a bit worried; even though she wasn't the same type of faerie that he was, he was still... well, not really interested, but he wanted to make sure that she was okay. He glanced at Robert curiously, an eyebrow raising at his curious antics and word choices. "...Is he sick?"

The hissing from her hazcat seemed to bring the blonde back to consciousness, almost immediately spazzing and removing herself from Petro's arms. The first thing she did was flail to stand and grab her tophat, the second was to scoop Felix up.
"Go eat s**t Deacon." Riyo hissed to her fellow feline as she noticed the already s**t-eating grin on his face. For a moment, she turned to Petro and contemplated saying something (obviously unkind) to him as well, but figured it would be best to exit the scene before...
Were those protection charms? Oh HELL no! Without another word, Riyo rushed off in any old direction. It didn't matter as long as she wasn't here anymore.

Things seemed to be going decently now, or at least by Aislin's standards. She took a moment to wave to Bobert the Undead Gnome before heading over to the crate that had been opened by Desu-chan. Looking inside she found a few protection charms and took two. You never knew when you might need a spare.
And then she wandered off.

Ennéa swung her legs back and forth, idly watching Robert interact with some of the various creatures around them. It was weird, a lot of the creatures looked almost human aside from a couple telling differences like horns or tails or in the case of one of tiny girl, little fairy wings.
The creatures she used to see back at home looked different, more animalistic and inhuman. They usually didn't talk either -- or at least they never really talked to her, aside from groans and growls and occasionally a mocking echo of whatever she said.
What would it had been like if the shadows and creatures she used to see when she was younger looked more like these creatures, more human? Probably less scary. Ennéa giggled at the thought of The Man That Wasn't There wearing cowboy chaps like that one guy talking to Robert was wearing.
Her mind drifted off into daydreams, imagining what the ceiling spiders would look like as human, or the monster that lived in the kitchen and who sometimes made all the drawers stick close just to be obnoxious. It would wear bright chartreuse-patterned jackets, like a used car salesman, Ennéa decided; to go along with its annoying personality.
Ennéa was trying to figure out who would win if Robert got into a fight with that banshee girl when Madison started moving. She blinked, eyed refocusing. "Are we leaving now?" she asked.
It looked like they were so Ennéa hopped to her feet. "Good bye!" she called. And then made her way out of the table area.

"Leave now," Madison grunted, for the monsters' benefit.
Then she carefully closed Robert up in one skeletal fist and strode off. Some of the booths said they were free... and, given she was by far the tallest in their little mini-squad, she could figure out where to go better than anyone else-
... And then she realized Ennea was running off to Go- Jack knew where! Augh! Madison pivoted and followed the diminutive zombie...

Astra had also looked behind to see what the crash was, and then was faced to face with one of...the biggest boils she had EVER seen. He was HUGE!! a virtual giant compared to her and Robet. Sadly the gnome seemed intent on trying to stand up to the guy, which had the fairy worried. As she sat there watching the spectacle unfold, someone had came up her, catching her attention. Once she looked, she was immediately interested. It was a fairy! Another faerie at this school! "Ah! I'm a-alright..." Astra said, amazed that somehow, she wasn't the only one here. "And..I'm not sure, to be honest" That was a really good question...
