"i just came an hour ago," replied roy. he saw fayre blushing and he knew that she sort of adored him. once he had that chance he could get her. since he was a charmer. he sipped his root beer and quickly ate some of his semi-warm noddles. "So...hey, what grade are you in?"he asked.
"10th," replied the girl. "i've been in human high school for a year and human schools before and before and yah...."
"Cool! I'm in 10th too, " he said gently. he wondered how she got here but he didnt ask.

She finished off her ramen and paid. She was talking to him. He also seemed to flirt a lot with her too. He paid and they exited and started walking and talking. They seemed to get along well too.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" Arriving at their destination within ten minutes, Lorina took another peek at the time. With three minutes to spare, she slid into one seat, motioning for Ciel to take the next one. She'd chosen to sit outside, since it was such a calm afternoon, and so it would be easier for their companion to find her. "I hope you like ramen. But they do have soups and other little things too." She smiled, sliding a take-out menu to her for choosing. The item was only one sheet, but it was made of paper so that a customer could take it home for future reference. Spinning her seat so that she faced away from the table, she glanced up just as her friend was setting his bike against a post. Sparing a last glance at her phone, Lorina shouted out perkily, "Perfect timing!"
Once he was at the small shop, Richard swung one leg over the bike, his fingers tying a loose knot in the string around the pole. He didn't worry much about theft, not on an island of this size. As he heard the familiar shout of his friend, he glanced up with a wave, but his gaze was momentarily distracted by her company. It wasn't someone he'd met before, and he wondered why Lorina hadn't thought to warn him. Sighing, he pushed away the thought; he didn't mind meeting new people, and he'd long since grown used to the imp's slip of minds. Walking over to the outside table, he nodded to the two girls before sitting down with a polite expression. "Hello. I'm Richard, a friend of Lorie's."
"Yeah, yeah. Rich, this is Ciel, a new student. Oh, and her brother is a new teacher. And I mean, very new." She managed a beaming smile, and turned it upon their waiter as he arrived, asking for drinks. "Just water for me."

Seating herself in the chair indicated, she looked over the menu before her. She had only ever had the instant sort of ramen, which she did enjoy, and she was rather looking forward to trying to real sort. "I've never really had it, actually." she responded, looking over the menu carefully. There were so many different combinations to choose from, and she was narrowing down her options as Lorina called out. She looked up in surprise, spotting the young man walking in their direction. Her hands twitched, and she set the menu down gently to hide her shaking hands under the table. She was generally suspicious of older men, it was hard to tell who might be a cop, but she was trying quite hard to force herself to relax; this was Lorina's friend, who she had been informed was a student, and there was no reason to start freaking out here. She managed a small smile, trying to look polite. "Hi. I'm Ciel." as Lorina had already stated that she was a new student, she didn't see the need to restate such. "Sorry to intrude upon your lunch. I just arrived today, and ran into Lorina who was nice enough to show me around a bit." she glanced up as another approached, and after it was revealed that he was a waiter, she ordered a water as well.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" Learning that Ciel had never had ramen caused a few seconds of surprise to flutter across Lorina's face. She did assume that the girl had tried instant ramen, though, as she couldn't imagine life without the yummy snack. Still, this ramen was different and more flavorful, and she looked forward to seeing Ciel try it.
After requesting his own water, Richard returned his attention to the table's company, and shook his head at the shapeshifer's words. "It's no problem, really." He chuckled, lifting one hand to block the imp's view as he mock whispered, "Especially if you've managed to put with Lorina for so long. You deserve a good meal." He flashed a smile, and snuck a glance at his long time friend as she shot a glare his way.
Frowning at her friend's words, Lorina shook her head, her tone exaggerting hurt. "Nu-uh. We're fighting now. Meal's on you. And that includes Ciel." Beaming now, she looked to their waiter as she said, "I'll take your most expensive dish." She shrugged at his change in expression then, but sighed as she amended, "Alright, kidding. I would like chashu ramen, please."
"And I'll have the maruchan ramen." he finished, knowing that he would be the one to pay for today, all kidding aside. It was his turn, after all, and he'd gotten to choose the location for lunch. Plus, he didn't mind paying for Ciel, should she choose; she was new and as a memeber of the student council, Richard tried to make everyone feel as welcome as possible.

The shapeshifter smiled lightly at Richard's words about putting up with Lorina, shaking her head a bit to show that it was no trouble. She rather liked the other student, about to state such when said student spoke about paying for all of their food. "Oh no, I can pay for myself." she objected, looking a bit surprised. While she had been reassured that her presence was no issue, she wasn't about to let someone she had just met pay for her meal. Besides which, her parents had given her some money before she had left with promise to send more as a sort of allowance. She looked up as the waiter returned, hurriedly picking one of the options that she had been looking at. "I'll have Shōyu ramen, please." it looked interesting, and it wasn't as if she had anything to fall back on here.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" Allowing a few moments for the waiter to scribble down their orders, Lorina remained quiet until he left. Leaning forward to rest an elbow on the table, she shook her head as she told Richard, "Alright, Ciel let you off. But you're still buying mine." She returned to her usual smile after that, knowing that he was going to pay anyways; but it was much more fun this way, especially since he'd tried to make a joke against her.
Sighing, Richard put his hands up in mock surrender. "Alright, agreed." Glancing up, he nodded a thanks to their waiter as the waters were brought before speaking again. "So, Ciel. What do you think of our school so far?" He'd almost added a comment about the people, meaning Lorina, but he'd been punished enough for the last joke involving her.

Relieved that there was no disagreement on the bill, the shapeshifter cast the waiter a swift smile as the waters were placed on the table. Reaching for hers, she took a sip and watched the two interact. They certainly seemed to be good friends, and the girl hoped that she might have a friend as close as these two were. As Richard turned his attention to her, she set her glass down to consider his question. "It's very.... open." she commented, remembering how large and spread out everything was. "I've only ever lived in very large cities, so a school being so spread out is quite new to me." it was easier to blend in when in large cities, and it was less noticeable to keep to themselves or move unexpectedly.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" After taking a sip from his water, Richard nodded, understanding Ciel's point of view. He'd spent half of his life in Milan, a well populated city in its own right. His school had been more condensed, but he found out within his first year that he preffered Reed's spacious campus to the cramped hallways. "Yes, it's definitely open, with so much space on this island. Once you figure out where everything is, it's a great luxury."
Adjusting herself by crossing one leg over the other, Lorina listened to their exchange, mentally nodding her agreement with Richard; though she lived in a town of only six hundred residents plus her family.

Relaxing a bit as the atmosphere remained calm and friendly. She listened carefully to Robert's words, nodding to show that she was listening. "It certainly seems like it will be nice. Way more room to run around." she smiled a bit, as if looking forward to such. It would definitely be nice to have more space and fewer people. She wasn't a big fan of cities, they were too crowded and had a tendency towards smelling odd, so she was very much looking forward to staying here at Reed's. "What brings you two to this school?" she was curious as to how the other students wound up here, knowing that not everyone was related to a teacher like she was.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" Looking up as their waiter arrived to explain that their food was almost ready, she flashed a brief smile of thanks before returning her attention to the conversation. In regard's to Ciel's first comment, she managed a small laugh as she explained to her friend, "Literally, she likes to run. Might even start a club."
After thanking their waiter for the update, he turned his gaze to Lorina, a questioning expression on his face. It quickly disappated, though, as she explained what was so funny; that Ciel literally liked the idea of having more room to run around in. Now understanding, he smiled for a few moments in response before moving on to her question. "When I was younger, I started showing signs of magic. My mother understood what was happening, and my father eventually learned as well. Both worked hard to get me into this school at thirteen. I've been studying since. Lorina has been here for three years, after convincing her parents in Ireland of the benefits to studying here." He shrugged, as if there was little more to tell; if there was, he knew a certain friend would elaborate.
Sighing at her friend's boring explanation, Lorina leaned forward enough to comment. "And yes, his stories are always that 'to the point'." She shook her head, noting that he hadn't even stated what their races were. Leaning back, she continued on in her best impression of a narrator. "Basically, Rich is a mixture of Arabian genie and Italian human, with magic on both sides. He can grant wishes and all that jazz, but it's alot of work for both himself and the wisher. He can listen to bits of other's thoughts, but he usually doesn't, for the sake of privacy. However, if someone's emotion is strong enough, he'll feel it too. So naturally, he wound up here to study." She nodded, giving Richard a pointed look that obviously showed satisfaction on her part before launching into her own story. "I inherited the family trade, which means I can work very well with fire. And by the way, convince is poor word to describe how I got here. I practically begged. Nevertheless, after a few years, they let me come here, mainly because my English is so good."

Smiling at the waiter with only a faint of nervousness, she turned back to look at the students at the table as Lorina made a comment about her love of running. She nodded to show that it was true, turning her eyes on Richard as he spoke. She was pleased that her question had been answered, though briefly wondered if maybe it was a bit too intrusive. Ciel cracked a smile at Lorina's comment, shaking her head to show that she didn't mind. Short and to the point was how her parents always did things, so she was actually quite used to it. Her brother, though he might go on a long while, rarely gave away any sort of information even if she thought it was trivial. She listened eagerly to Lorina's explanation, absorbing the information and casting Richard a brief glance, as if very interested by these tales of his abilities. As Lorina's abilities were revealed, she looked still more impressed. "Those sound so much more interesting than what I can do." she smiled at Lorina, understanding how begging went. "There was quite a bit of begging involved in my getting here as well." she admitted, though it hadn't been mainly because of her English.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" Hearing the reference to begging, the imp smiled, finding it amusing that she had also worked to be allowed to attend this school. "Eh, but the tough work payed off for me, so it will for you too." Leaning back in her seat, she refocused on the girl's earlier words. Granted, Lorina had always found her Richard's powers to be so much useful than her own; so when Ciel spoke, she nodded in agreement. "His are pretty awsome." She still enjoyed her own, especially during winter months, but an electric blanket could replace that need. "What can you do, Ciel?"
After letting Lorina continue, he sat back, sipping from his water as the conversation continued. He rose a brow at Ciel's words, wondering what it was that she could do. True, he liked his powers now that they were under control, but there were several things he would have liked to do. Looking up as their food arrived, Richard thanked the server as Lorina continued to speak. He waited for the girl to answer, glad that she seemed comfortable with the two, as he picked up his chopsticks to stir the noddles.

Nodding to agree with Lorina, the begging had paid off and she certainly hoped that her parents wouldn't change their minds. It was entirely possible, though as long as the school remained peaceful, she didn't doubt her brother's ability to keep her here. As she was asked about her powers, she hesitated a moment. "I'm a shapeshifter. I can change into pretty much anything I want." very large things or very small things were more difficult, and she specialized in humanoid forms, but pretty much anything was possible. "This isn't even my normal state, but we all have a form and a gender that are more natural than anything else." if she wanted to, she could go through life as a man or even an animal, but the easiest form besides a shadowy blob was that of a human female.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn" Looking down to her noodles, Lorina managed to pick up a few strands with her chopsticks. She'd never mastered the utensils, and it only took Ciel's words to break her concentration and cause the noodles to fall back into the bowl. She didn't seem to mind, though, and responded with excitement. "Really? That's awsome!" Working to gather the noodles, she was able to get a bite in as Richard spoke.
Unlike his friend, Rich had little trouble using chopsticks, and was able to enjoy a few bites before responding. "I agree, that's pretty cool. And useful." He smiled, clearly finding her talent interesting. "Is everyone in your family shapeshifters?" he asked, curious as to whether or not her brother, the new teacher, was one as well.
