Kenny sighed. "Fine. But you know I don't enjoy resting," he said. Then he looked up at Riley. "Really? How did it feel good?" he asked dumbfounded.

"I'll keep you company" Riley promised. "It felt like it was just you and me, and that I could almost feel all your feelings, but other than that, it just felt good. I dont know how to describe it." Riley said, smiling.

Kenny smiled. He grabbed Riley's hand and held it in his. "I think I'm finally over my parents death," he said. "Its all because you came into my life."

He must of just got over it, because earlier he'd been shaking, and screaming about them on the floor. Riley thought to herself. She liked the warmth of his hand in hers. Riley smiled, truly happy for him "Glad i could help." She said, then smirked "You don't know how much you've helped me." Riley teased, though it was true. Before, she could get close to anyone, she lived in solitude, and was sour, and to her self. Now she had someone to open up to, and be her self around.

Kenny smiled. "Well I used to be, violent, lonely, and angry all the time, but you changed me. Now I'm more trusting and kind. Thank you Riley," he said.

Riley smiled "I guess were both better people when we have each other." Riley said, snuggling into Kenny. She stayed silent for a little while, brushing Kenny's hand with her fingers. "If you had the chance to see your mom again, would you? Lets say if she never really liked you, and always stayed as far away from you as possible?" Riley blurted the question.

Kenny looked at Riley with a bit of confusion."Well I'd say yes. Since afterall she is my mother. I mean maybe she had her reasons for staying away," he said.

Riley nodded, understanding his reasoning. But he probably had a loving mom, that's why killing her hurt him so badly. "I asked because... well my moms still alive." Riley said "But, she'd always been so engrossed in traveling the world, and getting away from me, and my dad. She said she would come home, then would never come. I've only seen her so few of times where i can actually count." Riley explained.

Kenny nodded. "Oh I see," he said then he turned and looked Riley in the eye. "Let me tell you this. She is the adventuring type. Which means she doesn't like to stay in places for too long. Now when she said she'd come back. I'm sure she wanted to, but her love of adventure was stopping her. Riley, I know deep down in my heart your mother loves you," he explained, then smirked. "Thats why we're going to go find her."

Riley was surprised at his sudden intensity. "But Kenny-" She protested "Not all mothers are loving. My mother never showed any interest in me. If she really loved me she'd at least have come see me sometimes. I've only seen her five times in my whole life. She's a stranger to me, as i am to her." Riley said. "Besides, would we ever find her when she has been traveling the world for years?" Riley asks, sure that they cant go now, because it would be hard. Though Riley didn't tell him that she had the ability to go anywhere in the world with a simple side step.

Kenny smiled. "Well when I'm better we can go. We'll be travelers and travel the world. No need for money, since you have mind control. But honestly I believe its worth a shot," he said. Kenny really hoped Riley would agree to this. They could do for an adventure anyway.

Riley sighed, and hugged him "We'll be travelers yes, but Finding my mother is a whole other story. Maybe even impossible." Riley said, though with her powers it probably was possible. "I love you Kenny, I'll go wherever you go." Riley said, resting her head on his shoulder. Her mom would never stay though. She was the one fallowing her own selfish heart all the time. Riley thought to herself.

Kenny smiled. "Although I don't think I'll be able to travel for a little while. So we'll have to stay for at lest for a few days. I may be a vampire, but I still don't heal that fast," he said with a wink.

Riley smiled, though she couldn't help thinking of all the days she hoped her mother would keep her promise, and come home, and then she would never show up. She didn't even know what she would say to her.
