Ash had just handed Riley a bag of spookies.
Ash was Riley's new best friend.
Riley surely hoped Ash didn't really want them back.
Because they're gone now.

Now that he wasn't so distracted with the games, Jericho glanced around to see who else was around. A few of the people that had stopped by the fitness both were here. A couple of them, he hadn't seen yet, however.
He waved to Willow and the others as they came by to congratulate Riley.
It took him a moment to realize that the banshee wasn't speaking with the mouth she had. Well that was interesting, though he didn't think much of it.
Oh and there was Malodore! Grinning to the plague doctor, the dragon waved in return while wondering how it was enjoying the open house happenings.
Turning back around to see Riley spin the wheel, he grinned as she seemed to have land on something nice.
"Red dragons are lucky now?" he asked with a quirked brow. He then looked confused as Riley thought that she was seeing things. Blinking, he slowly shook his head.
"No. That's.. really Mal over there."

Joachim gave a small wave to Riley whom Willow introduced his name to, "it's errrr a pleasure to meet you." He gave her a little bit of a small bow much like the one he had given to one of the other students previously. Though his face held the same rather disgruntled frown as it seemed to always bear, even more so when Willow mentioned that they must have cut in front of a boil dressed in red.
Merel squeaked when she eyed that Willow and Riley had won a chocolate pastry like cats and Joachim had not. There was little doubt that she was a bit jealous that Yaus was sitting on the shoulder of someone who had one and she none.

Form a contract with me and magically win this race! OwO
Malodore tilted its head to one side. That was an odd statement Jericho had just made. "I assure you, I... am here for entirely reasonable reasons," it said, eyes flicking for a moment towards the odd combination of feline and baked good.
... It had to know. It had to discover. How had this marvelous fusion been achieved? Surely this would be a boon to science.
"Like science," it added, echoing its own rationalization. "Science is a very good reason, is it not?"
It slapped down a bet on the pastry-cat races even as it spoke...
"VITTORIA!"
...
"That, too, was for science."

Cat chuckled lightly as his spookies were passed around like a pass-the-parcel, ending up in the purple ghoul's h-...and they were gone.
Goodness.
And, oh, double-goodness, there were suddenly a LOT of people gathered around. Cat moved a little closer up against Ash, watching Riley perform her vanishing act with his spookies with a silent grin.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
Willow watched Malodore, as Jericho spoke to it. Frowning slightly before nodding thinking Science was indeed a good reason to be there. She giggled, looking at Merel, "Uh-oh... I think someone else wanted a Pastery cat." She said looking up at the mouse with a giggle.
"I still have a candy left, I can try again?"
She paused when she heard Jericho ask if red dragons were lucky, "You must be." She grinned, "Why else would she make sure you were playing with you?" Her tail flickered as she reached over to try her luck again at the wheel.
Willow glanced back at Maladore after she spun the wheel and giggled. "Science must be fun and interesting if you get to bet on pastry cats." She chimed in.

"A Nyan cat?" Ash perked up considerably as she saw the prize she'd apparently won. "You mean I get to keep one?" Now that victory alone made up for all the other failures of the day so far.
Turning around Ash hopped down and let other people crowd around to spin the wheel. The lanky ghoul strode back over towards Riley only to find... an empty spookies bag. The banshee giggled. "Were you hungry?" They hadn't been her spookies and she'd already had a bag earlier. Feeling something bump up against her she glanced down to see Cat pressing close in an attempt to keep out of the way of the throng. This place was really getting crowded.
"This is my friend, Cat." She took the liberty to introduce Cat to Riley, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him close so their cheeks pressed together. "Cat this is Riley."

Science, Riley piped up proudly in response to Willow. Is the most interesting thing there is. Riley leaned in, and butted her face against Malodore's beak lightly. Well I'm glad it's really you. I thought I might be seeing things - I did not expect to see you here. Your reasoning is sound, however. I think I may have won one of those, too. I am excited to see if it is, indeed, edible.
... Poor Nyancat.
But alas, I think we have played all of the games, and there are others in front of us. We should return to Fitness Booth soon.. I have to wonder how Christof is doing running it alone. I hope one of the boils stayed to help him.
She turned to eye Jericho cheerfully. Should we head back? Or was there something else you wanted to see?
She couldn't get an answer out of him, because she was being introduced further. Never one to turn down an introduction, she held out her hand for Cat. A pleasure. She murmured softly, and gave Ash a wink. I am always hungry for a bit of sugar. My apologies.

Desu-chan, you're not hiding puppies in those teacups, are you?
Malodore inclined its head towards Riley and Jericho. "I, myself, am going to persevere. I must have a sufficient sample size, you see. Absolutely essential."
Yes. As it was essential to launch a sugar cube towards a pile of teacups. Which was merely a study of physics! Naturally!
Or it would have been, had the sugar cube hit the teacups at all. Instead, it sailed into the smack-a-bunny box...

While he would never admit shyness or uncertainty, Cat was certainly feeling a bubbling sense of...of being very very small. In such a bustling crowd, compared to his near-silent forest, being half the size of most of the students and guests gathered around. He maintained his grin as best as he could and-
Don't stutter. Don't stutter.
"Riley." He shook her hand with every ounce of confidence he could. "The same 'Rileybrains' from groanspring?" Not a hitch, not a falter, and a firm Smile. Good.
All the same he remained pressed against Aislin for, uh...for company. No, not comfort at all, certainly not.

If Jericho had caught someone passing their spookies to Riley, he would have tried to warn them, but it was already too late.
After waving to the white coat-reaper, he turned towards Mal and chuckled upon hearing its reasoning for being here. That was a pretty sound reasoning to be sure. Personally, he wasn't exceptionally into science like the others, but there were a couple cool things about it. He wasn't about to rain on their parade in any case.
The dragon chuckled once more, this time in response to Willow.
"And here I thought she just liked my company," he grinned, before looking back to Riley. It was hard to not be grinning like a fool when he could feel the sugar rush almost.
He wasn't sure if the boys back at the booth had managed to snag any brains yet... Perhaps it would be better to distract her a little longer to make sure they had some in stock. That way they wouldn't be missing upon their return.
"I think I saw Mandy setting up her booth for CLIFF. If it's open maybe we should swing by quick," he suggested.

Willow smiled, "I'll have to remember that when I try to enroll." It certainly sounded like it. She paused looking at Riley and then Merel. "Oh, Joachim I think her and Merel'd make good friends. They both want to eat the pastry cats."
Poor Nyancats indeed. She smiled, "Nice meeting you Riley." She chirped and nodded to Jericho too, "Have fun Mr. Lucky Dragon." She couldn't help but call him that, it seemed like a fitting nickname.
She her tail flickered as she tilted her head at Riley's admission of hungry for sugar. She had to agree sugar was good but not sure if eating a ton of it was good for you. She looked at Joachim, "So suppose you should try you're luck again, Ohh and if you don't get one, you can have my other Nyancat since I got two. Maybe Merel and the Nyan won't hurt each other."

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
"I don't know how safe the pastry cat would be around her," he replied to Willow as she giggled over Merel's selfish behavior. "At least she isn't alone in wanting to eat them though," he replied looking at Riley, though he wasn't sure why she wanted to eat one as well.
Joachim waited until everyone else had gone and while they all seemed to be holding a conversation with another he took it as his chance to spin again. He felt rather out of the loop considering he was at a loss of what to say and frankly the boil in red frightened him just a little at the idea of science and pastry cats. He couldn't really imagine how it all fit together at a booth that was pink and bright in color but nevertheless he wasn't going to be the one to question him.
Staring at the wheel he went ahead and took another spin half hoping not to get a cat.

Riley's eyes focused sharply onto the new student, cocking her head slightly. Ah, I do have a Groanspring, yes. My, but it seems all of you have one of those nowadays. One might almost say I feel a little bit famous, with the manner in which everyone seems to know me from it. She chuckled gently, and took the boxes and cupcake that were handed to her.
She.. wanted.. to.. eat the cupcake SO BAD.
Ah.. Jericho.. would you hold this for me please? So I don't devour it in front of these poor boils and ghouls oh Jack the blood would be everywhere - was her unspoken thought.
My apologies if I don't recognize you, I tend not to look at the user profile pictures very much. It is becoming clear that it is a mistake, on my part. This last sentence was emitted with a lower, more subdued tone. In fact, the words themselves were heard in the minds of the students as if they were surrounded by an echo of whispers.
She turned to Jericho, her eyes narrowing as she reached over and pinched his stomach. I do like your company, you troublemaker. You just happen to be very lucky for me, as well. Her eyes drifted over to the booth he mentioned, suddenly opening in wary discontent. Mandy? I.. hmm. Why don't you go on ahead. I'll catch up.
Mandy.. eeesh.

Jericho gladly took the cupcake. Aside from the fact that it'd make a mess, Riley didn't need more sugar in her system right now. For now, he placed it into his spookies bag just to keep everything together in the meantime.
Though, he couldn't help but feel a little confused at the reaction Riley had at the mention of Mandy's booth. Had something happened between them? The dragon raised an eyebrow and looked over in the booth's general direction. While he was curious of the club, he didn't think leaving the sugar high mindflayer unattended.. a good idea.
"Hm.. I'll check it out later. It doesn't look like Mandy is there anyway right now," he said while peering at the seemingly empty booth, "So uh..."
He looked around, trying to spy what other booths there were.
In the distance, he saw Aksaja's booth. Wait. Didn't he mention something on groanspring that Riley was apart of that host club?
"Oh yeah.. what's this about you being in a host club?" he asked her with a raised brow.
