Looking at the next thing Kohaku had written, Blade let out a sigh while nodding to her.
"Yeah I know. But I don't really like to burden others with my issues," he said to the girl, "Besides... it's really nothing I hadn't dealt with before. It... really isn't.. that big of a deal."
Though that didn't stop it from hurting.
Hearing the door open, Shun glanced to the side, but the door was on his left so he couldn't see all too well. It didn't help that it hadn't been open all that much. Maybe the cat decided to push the door open or something along those lines.
If that was the case, he really hoped Tim wouldn't try to jump on him. He didn't need a fat cat sitting on his chest right now.

"Well. If you insist." Riyo said with a big grin, picking the bottle back up and handing it to him. "It's pretty strong, so be careful." That was all the warning he was gonna get.
Desmond didn't respond as Mitsu said she was worried, figuring that it would be rude and uncalled for to try and stop her. She WOULD be right back anyways... Right?
Enjoying the kiss while it lasted, the vampire slowly rolled over and covered himself with blankets (not that he really needed them). She'd told him a number of times that Shun was more like a brother to her, but he knew the feeling wasn't mutual on the assassin's side. And that's what made him nervous.
Wasn't that big of a deal? Kohaku grimaced at the obvious lie, figuring the boy didn't want to try and talk about his problems to a mute. Nobody really did. As nice as she could make letters look, they were still no match for comforting tones and an assuring voice.
Instead of trying to respond, the mute simply turned away and started walking down the beach.

Klyde took the bottle as Riyo passed it over and held it to his lips. It was indeed strong, the alcohol at first scorching his already sore throat. Making a face he pulled back the bottle after only one swig passing it back to the feline. "Strong was an understatement," he choked out trying not to cough.
The vampire was getting tired again though so it wouldn't take much alcohol before he was no doubt passed out in a stupor. Hopefully when he awoke the next time he would be feeling much better.
Seeing Shun move a bit Mitsu moved inside. "Shun?" Her voice was soft at the moment, hard to hear and a little scratchy. Slowly she made her way to his bedside, that look of concern still written all over her face. At least he was awake but she wasn't really all that sure he looked better.
"Hospital?" She asked trying to keep her words short and meaningful. Her throat wasn't quite up to the task of long conversation just yet.

Blade watched Kohaku for a moment, a bit confused with the way she was reacting. Rubbing the back of his neck, he really didn't know what the deal was. It didn't help that she couldn't really speak.
"Kohaku?" he called out, though he didn't follow her just yet.
It turned to not be Tim as Shun soon heard Mitsu's voice. It didn't sound normal, but he vaguely recalled her having trouble speaking earlier. Shifting and turning so he could see her more easily, he saw the bruising at her throat. That would explain that. Frowning, his gaze met with hers before shaking his head.
"Don't," he said, in regards of going to a hospital, "I just need rest.."
His own voice was soft at the moment, due to fatigue more than anything else. Pausing there, he took note of the worried look on her face.
"..Don't worry about me. I'll be fine," he uttered, pausing again as he felt his chest clench up, "Go have fun. Y-you don't need to keep on checking on me.. "

It was funny to see Klyde pass out so quickly after just a few sips of alcohol... Even though it WAS one of the strongest kinds. Sighing when she was pleasantly buzzed, the feline sat aside the bottle and scooted closer to the unconscious vampire.
"Good night." She whispered to him, kissing his forehead before crawling under the covers and laying down. The half of her that was usually determined to keep her awake with unpleasant thoughts was currently out at the bars, so tonight would probably be at least pleasant.
When Blade called back to Kohaku, the girl turned around and shook her head slightly, trying to assure him everything was 'fine' in as little words as possible (aka zero). But instead of continuing down the line, she started heading back to the house. It was about bedtime anyways, and she didn't want to stay up all night.. Even if she was upset.

There wasn't much of a change to her expression as Mitsu took a step closer a hand reaching out to touch the side of Shun's face. "But I am..." She squeaked out. The wolf girl would always be worried about him. He was her family. Besides, there wasn't much 'fun' to be had. It was late and everyone was miserable.
"Thank you..." She said softly having not had a chance to thank him properly for saving her. So much had happened her brain had been in overdrive...it still was.
Making sure the assassin was tucked in, Mitsu left shortly to grab him a glass a water, even if he didn't ask for it, and set it on the nightstand beside the bed. Not sure what else to do for Shun, Mitsu leaned closer giving Shun a hug the best she could with him lying down. "Rest..." She said shortly. "I will be back later..."
Which is what the wolf girl did the majority of the night. She was unable to sit still for long. For periods of time she would lay with Desmond trying to relax, feeling a short burst of comfort before the worry would overwhelm her and she would get up to check on Shun again. Come morning Mitsu lacked any real sleep looking tired and worn. At least most of the way through the night she had been able to talk again though it wasn't loud or without a squeak here and there. Currently she was laid out beside Desmond, eyes drifting closed as sleep lingered just out of grasp.
Neko had gone to bed and had slept in nearly to the point it was ten on the dot. Rolling out of bed the feline went through a short morning ritual before he dragging himself to the kitchen to start with breakfast...or at least see if anyone was there to help him with breakfast. If not he was going to have to drag some asses out of bed.
Klyde had slept rather peacefully through the night despite how badly he felt. Only once did he wake up in pain having rolled the wrong way. He was still out like a light when the sun rose, but that was how he usually was sick or not.

Furrowing his brow at Kohaku, Blade didn't really know what to say or do. But at least she had turned around to head back inside. Letting out a sigh, he finished off his beer and went in as well. He may as well try and get some sleep. Whether or not he would be successful would be the real question.
Shun couldn't help but lean into her touch as he placed her hand on his face. It was always brief but he couldn't help but relish it while he could. Opening his eye, he stared into hers and let out a sigh.
"Don't thank me..." he murmured before glancing to see the water at the side of the nightstand. He was rather thirsty but as it was he couldn't really move enough to drink it himself. It would have to wait until his body had rested a little more.
His own sleep was fleeting as the pain and discomfort didn't allow him to stay asleep for long. Each time Mitsu came by, he tried to convince her to stop worrying over him. She was losing sleep and it was his fault. Once morning was to come around he was going to have to talk to her again. The girl didn't deserve to spend her vacation hovering over someone like himself.
As much as he hated to think of it, she would be happier forgetting about his condition and just spending her time with the vampire.
Blade had slept lightly, as he normally did. The troubles of the night didn't really help all that much, but his sleep wasn't that much different from the norm for the thief. He was up when he needed to be, but he hadn't left his room just yet. Instead he was sitting by the window with it cracked open, watching the morning waves roll by.

Unfortunately for Desmond, he was no deep sleeper like his cousin was. Which meant every time Mitsu would leave and come back woke him up. Which meant... He got about as much sleep as she did. Groaning as light shone through the blinds in their room, he covered his head with a pillow and tried to go back to sleep, as futile as it probably was...
While Riyo slept about as deeply as Klyde, when the booze wore off, the nightmares set in.
With a gasp, Riyo awoke and immediately look around, her forehead dripping with sweat. When she realized where she was and what had happened, the feline let out a soft sigh, laying back down to allow her pounding heart time to slow. Silently, she glanced over at the body laying next to her. Hopefully Klyde was doing better today. Though... She had to wonder what he would do for food for the rest of the week. The rest of their blood stash was probably contaminated too...
Kohaku had been up for a couple hours already. Early riser indeed. She had slept about as well as she usually did, which was lightly. But it seemed to be enough to sustain her.
At the moment, she was sitting at the kitchen table, scribbling down some music notes on a paper. There were numerous pages spread all over the table, in some sort of weird order as if she was trying to hear it through reading. How the hell did she do it so early in the morning?

With a soft sigh Mitsu shifted so that she could curl up to Desmond, her head nuzzling into his shoulder as she tried to get comfortable not wanting to really get up. He didn't seem to want to leave the bed either, if the pillow over his head was any indication.
"H..how do you feel?" Mitsu asked in a whisper. "Do you need anything?" He seemed to be awake so she really didn't have to worry about stirring him from his slumber.
Klyde only gave a small shift when Riyo awoke with a start. It looked as those the burns had healed themselves, his lips looking mostly normal and the flesh across his chest nearly untouched. The only real scar he had was an old one, the one across his throat, the others looked like they would fade away into nothing.
In a groggy manner Neko dragged himself to the kitchen and spotted Kohaku at the table. It looked like she had been up for a while if the papers spread out over the table were any indication. Curiously he moved over to glance at them. He wasn't the best at reading music, but he understood it somewhat. "Looks like you've been busy. Making a song?" He asked before moving over to the coffee pot and grabbing for the coffee he had put away last night ready to make himself something to stay awake.
"If you go get Blade we can start on breakfast. I'm sure the others will want something to eat." Neko said while setting up the coffee maker to brew him the blackest cup of coffee known to man...oh yeah he liked it strong.

Shifting uncomfortably in the bed, Shun looked towards the nightstand. He had regained some strength over the night so he had managed to drink some from the glass. However, he only had drank about half of it so far.
Hungry and dehydrated, he stared at the cup before weakly reaching out for it. It was still a fairly arduous task for him as it felt like it still strained his fatigued and damaged muscles. Wincing as he grabbed the glass, he managed to down the rest of it before attempting to put it back. He didn't quite manage to do this right and ended up dropping the thing on the ground.
Groaning, he went and tried to sit up but stopped as pain rippled through his body still.
"Dammit..." he uttered quietly to himself, "******** my life..."

"I'm fine." Desmond mumbled from under the pillow and peeked out at her, soft blue eyes looking worn. It was sort of a lie. He really felt like s**t... But he'd never tell her it was because she got up every 5 minutes last night.
"What about you? How do you feel this morning?" One of his hands let go of the pillow to touch her leg and caress it gently, a smile hidden behind the white fluff atop his head.
Looking up from her work, Kohaku smiled and waved at Neko as he emerged from his room, nodding to his answer. It was her hobby, though more often than not she played old pieces that everybody liked to hear.
At the feline's suggestion, Kohaku silently stood and put her papers in a stack before rushing off to wake up Blade...
Though she paused as she heard the sound of glass hitting the floor. Turning, the mute peeked into Shun's room, frowning at the sight of the glass on the floor.
Though, the recollection that they didn't communicate well hit her...
Maybe... She'd just tell Neko and he could go check on the boy.
It was a little hard to just leave the guy hanging, but it's not like she could really help him well. Instead, she continued on and gave a loud knock on Blade's door. At the very least, she could do that.
Riyo couldn't help but smile a little when she noticed most of his burns were gone, though she did her best to ignore the scar on his neck. She... Still felt bad for that. Despite how much he insisted she shouldn't.
"Hey. You." She called down to him, her fingers inching towards his underarms to tickle him awake. Whether it would work or not she wasn't sure. "Get up~"

Mitsu wasn't sure how to respond though the way she looked right now was nothing short of disheveled. Her eyes had dark circles under them that nearly matched the bruise around her neck, her throat was still sore, she was hungry and far too tired to do anything about it.
"I'll be okay.." She finally said after a moment, the touch of her leg adding a little more comfort as she snuggled close. There was an urge to get up and check on the assassin again but the wolf girl's energy was spent. She was fairly certain if she stood now she would collapse.
Neko watched the girl leave and come back to tell him something though Neko had heard the glass hit the floor as well. Moving away from the kitchen Neko headed down the hall peeking into the room Shun was in. He came to the door just as the boy had muttered a curse to himself no doubt.
"You've got it rather rough." Moving into the room Neko reached for the glass on the floor. It had cracked but at least it hadn't broken. "You need some pain killers?" Neko asked looking the boy over. Out of all of them he seemed to be the worse off. "I'll be making food soon, something on your stomach would probably help too." God, taking care of kids.....why had he agreed to this? Trying to be helpful and....was this motherly? ******** it was making his skin crawl a little.
Klyde began to shift under Riyo's touch, his muscles tensing here and there as her wandering fingers poked his underarms. "Mmm..." He murmured as he started to come around. The sensation the 'tickling' had was rather odd making Klyde twitch, his face contorting into strange expressions. "I..I'm up. I'm up." He mumbled hoping that would make it stop though there was a faint smile on his face.
"How are you this morning, gorgeous?"

Hearing the door open, Shun looked over, expecting to see Mitsu again. However there was no one there. Blinking, he just closed his eye again until hearing it open once more shortly after. This time he saw Neko in his room, which was a bit of a surprise.
He had expected the wolf girl to try and check up on him again by now. Perhaps she finally listened to him and was spending quality time elsewhere. Maybe she even forgot about him.
The thought made him kind of conflicted.
"No," he said to the janitor in regards to the pain medicine. The assassin could deal with it. The pain meds wouldn't really do anything about his body being limp anyway. At least his fever had gone down.
"..Are the others alright?" he asked. He was mostly worried about Mitsu.
Snapping from his little daydream upon hearing the knock, Blade turned towards the door.
"Come in?" He said. It was probably Neko, he figured. Considering the janitor mentioned wanting to fetch him last night. Still.. a small part of him was hoping it could be Riyo instead. Then again, he wasn't sure if she really would want to see him. Yes, that was still plaguing him some.

Sighing, Desmond moved his head back over the pillow and almost immediately pulled the wolf girl into an embrace. "Go to sleep." He cooed, pulling the blankets up over her once more. With a gentle touch, one of his hands began caressing her side, slipping under her shirt so he could feel her soft, delicate skin. If only every morning was like this (without the sleepless night).
Riyo couldn't help but giggle at the silly faces Klyde made as he started to stir, a look of triumph on my face when he declared he was awake.
"The better question is, how are you?" She asked him softly, her fingers trailing up to run through his curly hair. He at least looked a lot better. But did he feel better?
As Blade gave the okay to enter, Kohaku shyly opened the door and peered in. She wasn't much for invading somebody's personal space...
Scribbling out a note, the mute stepped in and held it out for the thief to read. 'Neko wanted me to come get you.' is what it read. Hopefully Blade wasn't one of those people who had trouble reading in the mornings...

Mitsu took in a deep breath and let it out in a contented sigh as Desmond brushed his cool fingers across her waist. It was all the encouragement she needed to drift to sleep though the back of her mind kept screaming at her to get up. She needed to get up. She needed to check on Shun....but at the same time she couldn't. Her body would no longer allow it.
"M..make sure..." It was almost like she had passed out the way her voice had trailed off like that, her sentence left incomplete. Her body grew still as her breathing became steady, her mind now deep in slumber. No doubt she would be out for hours.
A small smile cracked across Klyde's face hearing the giggle, surprised to hear something of that nature so soon. It made him feel a little better that maybe it wouldn't be so hard for Riyo to get passed this. Honestly he was worried...very worried for the feline. He didn't want this to haunt her, not something he could have prevented.
"I'll be fine," Klyde finally said reaching up to brush his fingers through her golden locks. "You know how I bounce back." His body wasn't a hundred percent yet but no doubt he would be feeling better after a few meals and some time. "Are you hungry?"
Neko stared at Shun for a moment, trying to think of reply. "I really haven't seen anyone yet this morning besides Kohaku. I guess everyone is fine. I'll know shortly when I get everyone rounded up for breakfast. You going to be able to make it or do you want me to bring food back here?" God...now he was a maid. They so owed him for this...all of them.
