1. Honestly, I do not know. A lot of cultures fascinate me only because of the myths behind them. I love a culture with myth, I really do. Japanese myths are interesting, as are the Greek ones (which can disgust me), and egyptian. I seem not to have a favorite.

2. Oh... which dream to choose... I'll choose one I remember dreaming a second time about. Because I was quite young when I dreamt it, and still somewhat young when it reappeared.
I remember being in an elevator of sorts. A large glass elevator. The elevator was not in a building at all, and it seemed to be going up. Outside the glass, you could see odd things passing by. Almost Dr.Seuss-looking in color and style. Well, the landscape that is. there were a few odd creatures I did get to glimpse outside though. Mostly long necks and odd beaks. They never once glanced at the moving elevator. A few people were with me in the elevator... I believe my sister was and two older people I had no clue about.
The elevator stopped and "landed" (or came up to) the last place, and again, it was very Dr.Seuss-style landscape. The colors though, were kinda ethereal though pale-ish. The elevator opened up and we all got out. I looked around, and large colorful buildings were basically 15-20 feet in front of me. And behind me, a large hill that I couldn't see anything past. the sky was sort of in an early sun-set look. I looked around for the other people who were with me on the elevator and they were nowhere to be found. Actually, no one was anywhere. The city looked to be completely empty.
The dream skipped several hours into the later parts of the dream. I was suddenly inside one of the buildings, and it was late night, a full moon to be precise. I only really got to see two of the rooms in the building I was in, and I was on the first floor. I actually think, even though this building was tall, there was only one floor. The living room, the first room I was in, was lit by one tall lamp. I was sitting in a corner, and looking around. Next to me, to the right was a doorway leading into the other room, and it was dark in there. ((As a child, I did not like the dark at all, so clearly, I did not go in.)) Now, know this, the doorways did not have doors to separate them. Only cloths hung from the top and almost reached the floor. So we had cloth doors, even leading to the outside. On the way left wall, that I wasn't even near, was the exit/entrance to outside, and I could see the moonlight shining through the cloth and on the edges where the cloth didn't cover all the way. My mother and former step-dad were in the room playing games or watching a movie on a single TV, I believe. They were facing to a wall where they couldn't see me. My sister was in front of me on the other end of the door, but in the same room. She was watching our parents play whatever game or movie they were watching.
I looked at the cloth curtain-door to the right of me, and there was a bump in the cloth. I poked it, and it disappeared. After a little while, it came back. So, I poked it yet again, and it disappeared again. Well, to be sure, I was curious. So, I peeked behind the curtain-door, and I see this dark room, only illuminated by a single TV with a "snow" channel on. ((snow channel is really only when there's nothing on TV, and it wiggled grey, black, and white with a fuzzy noise. I'm sure you've seen it before.)) In from of the TV was a single couch on high-ish legs. Underneath the couch was a creature without a shape or form, with several eyes on stalks. I freaked out, and dropped the curtain and backed even more into the corner I was in. I stared at the curtain-door to make sure nothing would happen.
This time two bumps appear in the fabric, and I poked them yet again to make them go away. But I realised what it might be and at that moment, they didn't go away. Instead the creature bursts out of that room and starts to head toward all of us. I jumped back and freaked out, my sister mother, and former step-dad all stop what they're doing and flee. I did too. I fled for my dear little life! But once outside, I couldn't see anyone. Not even my family who had just fled the room. But I still run down this city street, illuminated by the full moon.
I look up at the tops of the buildings as I'm running, and I see this silhouette running on the rooftops in pace with me. They had a cape and a large hat with a large feather. Oddly enough, they started throwing feather darts at me. So, tried to run even faster, and tried my best not to be hit.

Now, this dream has two endings.
When I first encountered this dream, I made it back to my "house" of sorts. The creature no longer there in the living room. My family were all on the couch paying attention to the TV. To my left next to the entrance was a small coffee table. But nothing was on it. I looked outside, and saw the caped person run off.
The second time the dream showed up, I had this ending: I did make it back to my "house", and again there was no sign of the formless creature. MY family were paying attention to the TV, yet again as well. But I looked on the coffee table next to me, and there was a box. A dark red-ish colored wooden box. I picked it up and looked inside of it. In it was one of the feather darts that was thrown at me, except it was a golden one, with darkish gold stripes on it. I then looked outside, and the caped figure then bowed to me from the rooftops they were on.
That is the only dream I ever remember dreaming multiple times, and the one I chose to share.

3. I.... don't know. Possibly... Water. I think, even after all these years, that might have chosen me. Water can be the most flexible, and the most resistant/stubborn. It can be calm and then such a scary force. A contradicting element/force in itself. And as the same, you can always trust it to be what it is; water.

*cough* Sorry for the size of the post.
