Scarlett rolled her eyes, "Shut up. You're lucky I had that boar blood or I'd be attacking you for the blood I need." She mumbled in her arms, glaring out over the river in thought.

Justin simply smiled. He could have easily turned that comment into a sex joke, but he decided not to. He sat down on the grass, watching the river glow with his sparks. He let out a sigh, actually glad for this peaceful moment. He loved to fight, but sometimes, even HE needed to relax.

Scarlett continued to watch the river, listening to the sounds around her. Justin's scent mixed with the scent of water and, somehow, she found it soothing. The calming scents slowly lulled the woman in to deeper relaxation, then sleep. Her eyes dropped and closed, her forehead resting against her knee as she slumped some.

Justin noticed Scarlett fall asleep. He decided to stay out here with her until she woke up. She watched over him, so this was sort of a repayment.

Scarlett slept like that for a while before she reawoke. The sound of something in the bushes nearby awoke the vampiress from her sleep and her eyes snapped open, flashing a blood red. She jumped to her feet, looking around. A familiar smell reached her nose and her hair spiked some as the voice of her commander rang through the silent air. He had come to find her and he wasn't alone.

Justin heard the voice as well. "You'd better go meet him. Your friends seem kinda worried." He told Scarlett. He then walked off, the panthers and Kamina the turtle following him.

Scarlett turned to watch Justin disappear before running off to meet up with her commander and the others. Her commander went to her instantly and started lecturing her about running off like she did. He saw she was a vampire and quickly told her to come back to camp. She nodded her head and silently followed him back without argument.

Justin and his animal entourage walked back to Justin's camp. His troops stared at the animals, especially Kamina the turtle, but all Justin could think of was Scarlett. He couldn't exactly kill her now that he owed the woman his life. That would go against his morals. She was a formidable enemy, and if she saved him, she must be a decent person, in some ways.

Scarlett went instantly to her tent and lay on her bunk. With her hands behind her head, she stared at the ceiling, deep in thought. She kept thinking of Justin, wondering if he was alright and if he had gotten back to his camp safely.

Justin pulled Rebellion off his back, trying to take his mind off Scarlett by practicing. However, this didn't work. No matter how much he swung the large blade, he couldn't get her out of his head. Why!? She was an enemy! Sure, she saved his life, and she was the only real opponent he'd had in a long time, but still! He shouldn't have been so stuck on this woman! Something was wrong with him right now, clearly.

Scarlett sighed and rolled on her side to face the wall of the tent. She sighed, thoughts of Justin circulating in her mind. She couldn't figure out what in the hell was the matter was her. (What's the matter with me? Thinking of the enemy is dangerous, he knows too much about me.) She thought, sighing.

Justin sighed, impaling Rebellion into the ground. He sat down, leaning against the flat of the large sword. This makes no sense! Why can't I get her out of my head!? he thought, shutting his eyes to relax himself.

Scarlett sighed and yawned, closing her eyes. (I can't fall for the enemy, it's already too....dangerous.) She thought falling in to a deep sleep. She dreamed of Justin the whole night.

Justin had managed to fall asleep, but even then, Scarlett haunted his mind. Not in the bad way, but still. He couldn't just fall for the enemy. The war was already dangerous enough.
