He had been amazed that the purple haired general hadn't managed to dodge his attack but her mind was obviously elsewhere. Once the orbs hit he tied the lantern off on his belt and looked for another way to strike out at the general.
As he moved across the field he watched Tanzenite's arm, whatever it was, lash out at Endymion. He stopped for a moment, knowing what that thing could do, and stared in horror as the tongue reeled the earth prince in toward the general. He didn't care about the man, even more so as he didn't lift a hand to defend himself, but watching Tanzenite kill someone had never been something he'd wanted to see.
He was spared the horror as someone's, he didn't see who's, tiara sliced though the air and the General's arm as if it was nothing. She was down. Her weapon was gone. They could defeat General Tanzanite! If nothing else they could take down the woman who had caused so much suffering to the Senshi and probably countless others.
Ignoring everything else around him he charged through the water toward the General. He had no weapons but he had an idea. You could drown in just a few inches of water, no, she could drown in a few inches of water.
Nearing the fallen General he dove toward her intending to wrap his hands around her neck and force her head down into the water.

Cold, cold.. it was cold. Her eyes just stared down. The battle around her didn't matter, she could hear the screams of those requesting help.. they needed her, but she could not stop looking down at the crime she just committed. Her own little world, it was comfy here. Safe here.
She needed to just stay..right? Ares's look in her direction went unnoticed. Not from lack of caring... she would have probably been honored any other time, it WAS her first kill...right? As a blood moon court member she should feel honor in her first kill. As it stood? She only felt grief.
She stayed like that until a tug brought her back, a arm hooked around her. Lyras first instinct was to attack Flora, but the touch was enough to bring her back from the brink as reason and light returned to her eyes. She let the other senshi guide her, another teammate... another friend. No need to get so hyped. "Flora!" The girl semi wailed, her own voice coming out as nothing but a squeak. Her previous scream had left her vocal cords scratchy. 'I..i..." She leaned her head down on the other senshis shoulder as her whole body shook, she was trying to stop from breaking down. Lyra needed to be strong....
In the end, she was just a teenager like a huge portion of everyone around them.

(Sorry Stae I hope you don't mind midget to the rescue)
"Get away from her..." Growled Zinkenite, teleporting to Tanzenite's Side as Arsino Made his leap towards her. He'd have to apologize to the hurting woman later because there was no getting around this Cloud of tear gas
Goggles up and mask up Zinkenite was safe enough from his own assault but the soft tissues of those not protected would soon be irritated, it could even blind temporarily if you spent too long in the vexing smog. Certainly breathing it would grow hard even for the most tenacious.
But if it meant saving Tanzenite's life...
"And you WORMS call us the monster's... sending in your MAGOTS to try and take us on like we're wounded animals...pathetic...how 'Brave' of you you shallow things."

As strange as it was, Chronos had almost screamed as well as she watched her tiara cut right through the arm on the General... except it wasn't really an arm. It looked monstrous, and it was definitely not at all human. If she hadn't had done that, Endymion would have had his life squeezed out of him. Chibimoon would have watched her father's life ripped away from him, moments after their reunion. Heart pounding in her chest, she turned back to Prince Endymion. Noticing that the arm was still around his throat, she ran towards him, tiara reappearing on her forehead, clean and pristine despite what it had just done.
"It'll be alright." She told the Prince breathlessly, attempting to pry the fingers out of its tight grasp as Juno shoved an arrow through the stump of the arm. "You have to live. For your daughter. For Princess Serenity."
-------
"I-it's alright." Flora managed out, willing herself to not let her voice shake. She had to be strong, to be a pillar of support for Lyra. She could only shelve all her misgivings, all her inner conflicts at this time, because her friend had it worse. She had committed the act, and had to deal with realizing the consequences of her actions, while Flora herself had not. It was a traumatic experience for Lyra, she was sure, and she needed someone or she would completely break apart.
And Flora would not allow that to happen.
"You'll be alright." She said, as she heard Tanzanite, the one who had hurt Castor, fall. Watched as her Princess and Juno rushed to Endymion and made sure he would not die here at the hands of the Negaverse. "We have lost our people to them too." Despite this attempt at reassurance, her mind thought that it was a horribly weak argument; seeing as she wasn't sure she would have done the same. To kill someone. Would the Negaverse had mourned too? "It's alright." She repeated, pulling Lyra as close as she could. "I'm here for you, okay? Take deep breaths."

He had been so intent on taking Tanzenite down while he had the chance that he ignored everything else going on around him. It was a stupid mistake. He'd completely forgotten, or ignored, that the Negaverse could teleport and that they were (god only knows why) very loyal to each other.
As the tear gas billowed up around him and the fallen General he cursed. His hands splashed in the water just missing their intended target as he coughed.
"You are .... animals ...." Trying to speak through the irritating gas was also probably stupid but he was doing it anyway. "You deserve to ... die ... like them."
They all deserved to die for what they'd done. For what they'd -chosen- to do. Every one of the Negaverse had chosen to become monsters and just like the youma they needed to be destroyed so that the earth could be peaceful again.
Turning he lashed out with one leg in the direction of Zinkenite's voice hoping to clock whoever it was that had tried to save Tanzenite with a wooden sandal

Sassolite ran to stand by Zinkenite sending arrows towards the senshi near Tanzanite heading straight towards Birhan, Juno and Arsinoe. She wasn't aiming very well as she was running but that didn't stop sending as many as she could their way.
She then ran at Juno as she happened to be closest and looked as if she was the one that needed attacking first. Sass saw one of her arrows in the senshi's hand and screamed at her.
"What scum now stealing are you?" She drew one of her own arrows and lunged at the senshi.

"Oh please..." Zinkenite dolled with barely a change of inflection in his voice, he sounded so casual, so at ease, but that was at least in part because he was so much stronger now. "Scrabbling in the mud like the little pig you are? Crawling in the muck of your own supposed morality, preaching about judges and judgement and then playing the part? Grow up little boy... or go to -bed-...I'll lay you down for a nice dirt nap."
Delicious, he could already imagine the swelling of soft tissues in the throat and nose, wheezing would be a delicious rebuttal to the ham handed attempt the senshi had made at banter.
He ducked backwards, some marginal edge of clarity given to him by long practice in smoke, and the use of his goggles, He even ducked back for a kick and dropped two more pellets to increase the duration of his own assault before going in low and quiet to swing an arm towards 'center mass' for Arsino with all the strength of a general.

His foot miss and clunked back into the water as he continued to cough. His skin was starting to inch, his eyes were watering and he couldn't breath ... he had to get -out-. Someone had shot an arrow at him too! It wasn't well aimed but now there was a dark red scratch where it had grazed his skin and -that- was starting to burn like a b***h from the smoke.
But how? He could still hear ZInkenite's voice but he couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from.
"As if ... you bastards .. don't do the same." He managed to wheeze. The Negaverse had no right to judge them. They were the ones who were trying to protect things. All the Negaverse wanted to do was corrupt everything and twist it to their own little fantasy world.
He'd heard a splash and vaguely though that maybe the General had left but he wasn't so lucky. An arm appeared out of the smoke and landed across the base of his ribs. He felt more than heard the crack as bone gave way.
Screaming in pain he lashed out, fingers clawing at the arm that had hit him. Lucky for him there was a -lot- of fabric to grab onto and as his body curled in on itself involuntarily he tried to pull whoever was attached to the arm with him in a pain and adrenaline fueled yank.

-Perhaps Chronos had the better idea, her fingers attempting to unlace the fingers gripped around the Prince's neck. But Juno was under the distinct thought that the stupid monster arm was still alive, and maybe if she hurt it bad enough it'd turn on her instead. At the very least perhaps release in reflex.
Unfortunately it was Juno who was in for a world of hurt.
Zinkenite's bomb had been set off a little ways behind her, but it didn't stop the smoke from billowing across the water and towards her stinging her eyes and lungs. Even with just the trailing edges licking her skin the general's attack was intense for the poor young senshi. Her eyes squeezed shut against the pain, digging the arrow around mercilessly in the dark flesh as she coughed and sputtered, trying hard to deal with the pain in her chest.
Juno's back arched as Sassolite's arrow sliced through her back, sliding without resistance through muscle and flesh, until the very tip peeked clear out of front of her. It was like fire through her body, and the seering smoke licked greedily at the edges of the arrow's entrance and exit. Her mouth was wide in a scream of pain, her fingers twitching in shock and pain.
It hurt.. it hurt so much that tears were forming in the eyes of the senshi of the canopy. But she wasn't dead yet.. perhaps it had missed the things that were vital, or perhaps the foreign item was even blocking the seepage of whatever might have been pierced. She had an arrow in her hand and an arrow through her torso.
What choice did she have? Leave the arm and risk that it not let go? Or leave her back and body open for another onslaught?
Arrow left in the monster arm of Tanzanite, Juno pushed herself up, her fingers seeming to try and protect bit of arrow that peeked through her front as blood stained her skirt. Her steps were wobbley at first, her shoulder hitching downwards as she dashed at Sassolite using the weight of her body and pure momentum in an attempt to knock the other girl back.-

"No... I just -judge-" Came the more than self assured reply. Judge, jury and executioner, prowling the nights for murderers, rapists, and those who preyed upon the week of will. There was no small irony in the fact that he enjoyed toying with the minds of others when he preyed on those 'rude' enough to do it themselves, but he was under no delusion that he was 'top' predator, he simply knew he was one.
He felt an burning agony twang up through the muscles of his arm before he let himself roll forward with the adrenaline fueled momentum. Half way through the arc he teleported, loosing himself from the Senshi's grip and re-appearing where he had stood before with Tanzinite in the rolling clouds of white noxious smoke.
"Come into my parlor little maggot...you'll never make it to fly." He called from within, pulling out more of the glimmering 'seeds' in preparation to hold his ground.

He continued to curl in on himself for a moment even after the General teleported. The bastards couldn't even fight. Just running from the right and hiding behind barriers. They were pathetic.
He tried to keep from breathing both in fear of the smoke and from the pain of his broken and cracked ribs. He pulled himself up onto his hands and knees and swore softly.
He would probably die here but it was some comfort that he would at least die trying to take out some OD the corrupted bastards.
Rolling over he tried to inch back out of the smoke. If he could just get back and -breath- maybe he could get another attack off.

Sassolite felt the senshi barge into her and they both stumbled over. Sass could feel blood on her and had no idea it wasn't hers but the senshi's. She went for the closest thing she could and so grabbed Juno's hair before trying to kick her, hopefully around the stomach area.
As far as Sass was concerned she wanted every senshi dead and it seemed Juno happened to be her target. She yanked the senshi's hair as hard as she could while trying to wrestle the senshi off of her. Bloody senshi... quite literally.

Call it cowardice, call it strategy, the important thing in any war was winning, and he was not loosing the battle to protect his fellow General when she was so grievously injured.
His arm throbbed where muscles had strained and fibers had snapped but adrenaline helped.
He tore at the fabric of his coat before offering it to Tanzinite, some small relief from the terrible smoke that was just one more line of defense between her and the bastards who hid behind their magical attacks.
It was amazing how few differences there were between them when it came down to spilling blood in the field... talk of morality and bravery all you wanted but when you were crawling in the mud and desperate to kill they were all just animals at heart.

Super Sailor Corvus had seen Sailor Arsinoe disappear into the smoke. Not having him anywhere within her line of sight was something that she was not okay with, just as much as she was not okay with not knowing where the rest of her team was; if they were alive, if they were bruised, if they were broken... If they were even here.
"Damn it." She snarled, tearing a strip off of her already shredded sash to cover her nose and mouth with as she charged across the battle-field from where she had been fighting with some nameless Negaverse agent in order to save the one senshi she cared about that she could find.
"Arsinoe!" Corvus stooped down by her cousin's side, eyes dark and narrowed as she glanced in the direction he was trying to crawl off in. "Let me help you... Please."

Foramen's attack had landed dead on. There was no dodging what he hadn't been expecting and he certainly hadn't expected the senshi to just boomerang back at him. What the hell was wrong with these senshi?
He landed hard on his back, eyes wincing closed as the wind was knocked out of him, both from the landing and the impact of heels to his midsection. "Woof." He groaned as he remained on the ground for a moment or two, getting back up only as Foramen left for something else.
It was then that he spotted the senshi that had left the mark on his arm; the strange, dark haired senshi of blood. He figured, pain or no, it was time for a rematch.
