Liesel fell asleep, having a dream that she was dancing in glass shoes with a man. Her head laid on his chest. But, no matter how hard she tried, she couldnt look up to see the prince's face.

After his shift was over he went and laid in his bunk deep in thought. he couldn't get her out of his mind.

Liesel woke up to screams and cries as Nazis were evacuating halfof the room. "Oh no..." she looked over at Anne, whom was waking up. She pulled her into her arms. It didnt look like they would be in this evacuation. "Oh God...wheres Kyle?" she ehispered to herself, panic striken.

Thankfully Kyle seemed to be one who wasn't getting evactuated but his bunkmate, a younger boy was. Kyle tryed to reason with the Nazi who was taking him but just got pushes back against the bed as the boy was dragged out.

Liesel had a good idea. She watched them leave the building, hearing a train pull up. "Go back to sleep Kyle..." she whispered, looking down at Anne's dirty, pale face.

Kyle returned to his bed laying down falling asleep within no time.

The next day, Liesel woke up with Anne while Nazis pushed them out. Her birrhday was two weeks away. So far, so good. She played with Anne, hungry and sleepy. They didnt get food today.

Frederic was no where to be found that day. he had meetings and rested for the rest of the day.

Liesel noticed him not being there at all today. She tried to think of positive things. Over slept? Conference? Sure! Why not? Not gonna think about bombings or murder or- What if someone saw? Then what? Did someone see?! Liesel tried to ignore the thoughts and play patty-cake with Anne.

near nightfall right before dinner Frederic started his rounds. he looked rather tired and warn down. he tried to look uninterested as he walked around. he had been promoted so some guards where glaring at him. he ignored them his eyes searching for her. he needed someone to be close to right now.
