An unwanted sigh escaped his lips as he shifted his contemplation to the numerous audible disturbances that raked at his ears. His sapphire occuli rested upon a feminine appearance and he noted how she carried a wooden object. This was a stranger, someone he hadn't been introduced to. And like his antisocial self, he denied to utter a single word to the other creature. Instead, he groaned inwardly and sat down, his eyes diverting their attention anywhere but the female. The presence wasn't too comforting. Then, like a venomous lunge of a snake, his pupils narrowed and his eyes looked at Claire, like she had spoken forbidden dialogue. He could barely make out the exertion in her words and he invaded her mind, feeling how she seemed envious of Jaclyn. His eyes softened and he opened his mouth to reassure her, but involuntarily, he answered her suggestion rather."I think she'll be just fine..." He murmered begrudgingly

Jaclyn smiled and shook her head. "No. I'm fine. No visiting my brother again today." She commented as she pulled her sleeves up and got up. Doing so revealed a nice bruise on her arm forming. She stood up and pulled her sleeve down. She hadn't seen it. "Now how did I get up there?"

Noctis glanced up at the tree that Jaclyn had fallen forth from. He sighed his reply before actually speaking the scene he had seen with his own eyes."Some purple haired dude put you up there and fluttered away with his... odd shoes." Noctis mumbled.

Claire was pleasently surprised at Noctis`s comment and that Saix decied to sit by her. Claire hated that she was envious of someone and felt like a horrible person for feeling like when they were injured so in need of reasureance she asked “Noctis is it wrong to be envious of an injured person?”

Noctis pretended like he didn't know what she'd been thinking and chuckled as if she were asking a ludicrous question."They're injured... why would you be?" He rhetorically asked.

"Ivan." The girl commented. She knew who put her up. Ivan was the only person she knew with purple hair and it sounded like his powers. "That guy is my possible future husband. I'm sure he's in love with the other girl, but we're still childhood friends." The girl commented.

Noctis' hands acted on their own accord and he stroked the top of Saix's chrome head as he kept his eyes on Jaclyn."Kissing your cleavage and pulling up your skirt screams more than childhood friends to me." He commented a matter-of-factly.

as soon as noctis's had touched the top of his head, Saix's personality seemed to compleatly change from 'cautious and shy' to 'cat-ish', Saix becomes Compleatly Visible as his cloaking deactivates and he lifts his head back as if he likes the petting...a lot, with a sort of happy look to his face, he becomes distracted with the petting and could be mistaken for being in a sort of trance...

Noctis nodded slowly as he ripped his gaze from Claire. He then glanced at her again as his lips parted to speak word."It probably wasn't nonsense, I just don't understand." He commented."It's sound idiotic, but I was envious of people who went through Hell to protect what they believed. Eventually I did the same thing, of course." He then glanced down at Saix, a smile caressing his features and a chuckle following. It kinda reminded him of the cat he and his friends use to see on the streets. They named it Sixx for the number of times it'd bitten Promptus. He remembered the way it used to lift its head and close its eyes whenever he'd pet it or scratch behind its ears. He continued to trace his fingers along Saix's chrome surface.

Jaclyn rolled her eyes. Didn't his friends teased him and do odd things. "Well if you cared then why didn't you stop him?" She pointed out. She pulled her blanket up and started to fold it into a square. She then folded over her arm. She was waiting for Noctis to give her an answer. She was right. He didn't care that much to do anything. He was just like all other guys in the world.

Noctis glanced up at Jaclyn, and based on past experiences he calculated his words and estimated their consequences. He needed to choose his words carefully around this young woman, for she reminded him so much of his mother; who would shut him up with one of her smart quotes and questions that were difficult to answer. She always had a counter attack, and when he'd try to talk back she'd threaten to take him out of existence. His best choice of reply was something short and blunt. Something long would be too informative."Because I don't." He answered finally.

Claire knew she was breaking her promise but she couldn`t allow Noctis to lose a friend because of her so Claire said to Jaclyn “he couldn`t because he was comforting me, and I sorta laid across his lap so he couldn`t move.”

Jaclyn's face pulled back in displeasure. She didn't pin him as that kind of guy who would let a girl just sit in his lap. "Men." She commented back with distaste as he started to walk away. "Can't live them can't live without them." She added. He was a pain in the butt who didn't know how to save a girl. He didn't even know who Ivan was to her. She picked up her skirt as she walked. "I rather old my morals higher."
