Cort burst into laughter as he thought about the dregs facing him. They were fighting for the Tri-Alliance, but to what end? He didn't understand their motivation.

Helios paid no attention to what Cort had said besides anybody was better than Cort at ruling. Helios went in and hit the same weak spot that he had hit before.

“If someone else comes it’s just someone else to kill.” Hearing Luna mention his son she spoke again. “He doesn’t seem as big of an idiot as you, but if I have to fight him I’ll kill him too.” As the cards flew around Cort they had difficulties trying to tear him apart with his shield up. Barely getting out of the way they watched as a ball throws by Vivi hit him doing little damage.

Cort grinned, relishing the thought of the power vacuum that was to come. Cort had made the Dragonheart Empire feared throughout the universe, thus earning the loyalty of many. If he fell, then chaos would consume every Dragonheart system.

“Do you have something shoved in your ears or are you stupider then I thought?” As Cort continued speak Vivi spoke again. “You’re the stupidest person I’ve ever met.” After speaking Vivi threw a card at Cort. Seeing the vines wrapped around Cort the cards checked for any open panels or damage on him.

((Wow... I lose internet on Wednesday and don't get it back till today and this is still going on. I was kinda worried I would miss out on it.))

Alex's generators had been fully recharged and he focused a fair portion of that mighty power into a single massive burst of lightning that struck Cort head-on, piercing through his plasma shield. Despite that the shield still managed to absorb much of the power from the blast.
