The hunchback had been so consumed with his task, he completely missed the fact there had been any sort of dog loose at all, and so when it seemed the book throwing had stopped, he lay on his back, debating his options from his perspective. Obviously they didn't think he could do it, or whoever had been the sparklefairy that had thrown the books didn't anyway. Well. Well...
Wobbling to his feet, his face bruised, his nose bleeding a bit onto his cravat, his caterpillar-like stitched mouth twisting into a scowl, he sorely lifted the book and box once more. They were probably still laughing- alright so generally it looked like no one was paying attention, but... but SOMEONE had thrown a book- although for the life of him he couldn't figure out who. Well... well... Nuts to them. He wobbled to his mark.
He didn't even notice that class had ended, and homework had been assigned, everyone getting ready to leave now. He WANTED to do it. For HIM. Because he knew he could! He could complete any task asked him if it was worth doing- he was a GOOD Igor! Face contorted like a man possessed, he floated on pure adrenalin....
and DID IT.
Wobbling up to the teacher personally, he held out his book and box.
And promptly fainted.

The textbooks stopped flying about as Barth somehow managed to catch the ghost dog. With that one annoyance gone, and the fact that class was let out early, Jericho was only feeling slightly better. But most likely this mood wasn't going to be going away until he could get rid of this wretched perfume.
Looking over towards Riley, he sulked on over towards her after she beckoned him to come over.
He opened his mouth but a thud behind him caught his attention. Glancing behind, he saw Christof... laying there... either unconscious or dead. Did he get hit with a textbook? Blinking at that, he turned his attention back towards the Mindflayer.
"Yes?" he said a little flatly.

Riley reached out and pulled Jericho in, then turned him around so her back was to him.
You're a wreck. She pronounced, not that he didn't know it. She reached up and started pulling her fingers through his hair to glean as much perfume out of it as possible, now that she'd completed her own grooming.
You have such a temper on you. One of these days you're going to get so angry, you'll.. she looked down suddenly, noticing Christof has fainted. Well. That. She nudged the igor gently with her foot.

It came as a surprise, to the demon, that the Igor, though given the option to sit out of the second lesson, had made an attempt to go through with it. His first attempt had been a complete failure, which she'd foreseen as the outcome. However with his second attempt, she was impressed.
As the igor fainted in front of her, just as she'd taken the box and book from him, she gave a light smile. There was hope for these students yet, as wretched as some of them clearly were, right now.
She beckoned Xypher to her side, and had him take the boil to his dorm. A note was left, with the class homework assignment. At this point, she determined, she'd just treat him like all the rest.

Jericho didn't object when Riley started to try and get the perfume out of his hair. The less he had on him the better. Right now his nose was burning a bit from the intense scent and he wouldn't be surprised if his sense of smell was killed for a short time because of it.
"Hey, I didn't set anything on fire this time," he mumbled, not really sure if she was trying to lecture him or what.

She heard the homework being posed, but she was in no way happy about it. Up until now she had done a great job at keeping her culture and her true race a secret. She was a failure at being a Vetala anyway! What kind of Vetala got stuck in the corpse? A bad one, that's what. It was a painful thing to think about and so, for now, she decided to not think about it.
Wow, that lazy Demon caught the dog? Good for him! Her attention moved back to the rest of the class, still rubbing her face from where the book had pegged her. It didn't take her long to spot the poor Patchwork on the floor...wait, what was he doing on the floor?
She wanted to ask if he was okay, she wanted to try and wake him up; but the Prof was there instead, and soon the Igor was being hauled off. Well, uh, okay. Twisting some of her hair in her backwards hands, she quietly turned to make her exit instead, wondering how she was going to do this assignment.
She didn't want to tell everyone about her culture...not until she could proudly be a part of it.

Riley snorted and brushed his hair with her long fingers, shaking her head. That is true. She commended, before patting his shoulder lightly. Would you help me get Christof back to his dorm? She asked hopefully, as she hopped off the desk and moved to kneel beside Christof. She laid a hand on his shoulder, and started to shake him slightly.
Christof? She murmured, just as Xypher came to take him away. She watched, a little unhappy about the situation, but stood up and brushed herself off regardless.
Well. Nevermind that then. Shall we go?

Glancing back down as Riley asked him to help Christof back to his room, Jericho was about to grab the patchwork but the professor already had that taken care of.
Well that was one less thing to worry about. There was still the homework to deal with but he had no real issues with talking about red dragon culture. Nodding to the Mindflayer, he went on to leave the classroom to his dorm so he could take a much needed shower.

It was over quickly -- the invisible dog, the catching, the class. He couldn't help but to toss Aymet a sympathetic look as his sentence was announced, quietly and quickly grabbing his own backpack and hoisting it over his shoulders. It was a pity what had happened, and did so in the way it did.
Merope stood up and padded out of the classroom after the doorway was cleared, holding his breath. Ugh! The stench from the perfume was enough to even offend his undead nose. He fanned the air in front of him as he proceeded down the hallway, darting off towards the comforting cold embrace of the undead dorms.

This class was turning out to be a little more than Alessa had bargained for. While she knew she was no fine lady, she had never really thought of herself as clumsy. Apparently, though, that was what she was getting out of these lessons because as she finally took her turn to walk after all the commotion, she managed to get only halfway through before the books fell and perfume spilled all over her front. She gasped, but then quickly tried to keep her mouth shut so none of the liquid would get in. Blinking in an attempt to keep herself calm, she swallowed slowly and headed to the back of the line. At least, ah, she smelled pleasant now? Rather, at least the liquid wasn't something putrid.

Perhaps trying to channel her frustrations productively, Alessa went right back and tried again. This time she made it through, just barely, and was able to put the books and perfume down with a sigh of relief. If she'd gotten soaked again well...she supposed it wouldn't have mattered really. She was already going to have to change after this and she already smelled like a pumpkin patch. She noted that everyone was pretty much done, but she suddenly remembered something! Quickly took out her staff assessment form and peeked at the questions. She didn't have time to write it down now, but...she figured she wasn't so oblivious that she still couldn't fill it out.

((Pass! That was... horribly lucky, roffle ;;; ))
Gabrian had decided to study the situation and see how the other students did before actually attempting it himself. He had little doubt he'd be able to do it quite well, but still decided it was much better to be safe than sorry. He noticed Yaya was actually able to make the whole thing look like a cake walk, and he found himself arching one elegant brow before he smirked somewhat. Obviously after that particular performance, he could remain immobile like he'd been for a while now.
The ghost dog... had been a distraction. A rather big distraction, actually, but the Sloth demon managed to catch it (surprisingly enough), allowing the rest of them to continue with their line walking tasks. He eyed their professor as she set their homework and then moved towards the line with the box and book in arms, watching as Christof was lead away. His gaze strayed to the ghoul that went before him, whom happened to be none other than Alessa. This time, he kept his mouth shut, however, he did wince slightly when she her first try; hoping she had not seen him flinch at her failure, the demon placed both the box and book on top of his and... walked the line without so much as batting an eye.
At least he was happy to note that he had done just as good a job as Hadiyya had, and by the time he got back and was able to return the box and book, he felt rather content with the whole situation. Even if he had no clue what he was going to do about the homework. On his way back, he passed Alessa's side, and he made it a point to whisper, just loud enough for her to hear, "If you need help, you know where to find me," if the ghoul were to look, she'd have noticed he wasn't, in fact, smirking; his features should languid seriousness as he gathered his things. He paused only momentarily to peek up at Ms. Winter, deciding to take a moment fill in his career counseling assignment here. He sat down on his desk for a moment, scribbled a few notes on a piece of paper, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible, and then promptly left.
((Exit post! I think >A> ))

The craziness had died down by the time of his second attempt and several of the students had already headed out. Something he was almost shamelessly glad to see. It wasn't very kind to think of it that way, bu the less eyes on him in his less than dignified state made him happy. Maybe he'd not feel so tense and be able to do something right... or as close to right as he was going to get... without getting angry over it. It was more than obvious that the boil would be spending many a night practicing this until he got it right... or he was pleased enough with it.
This time, he started while berating himself mentally; keeping his gaze focused straight ahead, he worked on taking his time and making it instead of, perhaps, being a show off. If show off he truly was. Since he was already covered in pumpkin spice, he didn't notice the stray drops that did land on him as he spun around to make his way back. When it was over, he let out a huge sigh of relief and took off the book/box combo. Since there had been a casualty the teacher had looked after him, so he just set it down where he could and was about to leave when he recalled an assignment for another class. This woman would be perfect for his assessment profile. Though he wanted to leave, he sat down for a bit; just long enough to recollect himself and write down what he thought about his new teacher. Least that was one assignment down, though hopefully the teacher wouldn't mind that it smelled strongly of pumpkin spice. Tucking it away again, he stood and headed out. He needed a shower before he went to see his minions or else he'd have to spend a night being 'attacked' by them. And given his state of mind, he wasn't in the mood to be playful.

Alright, so now she had to balance things on herself while walking. Okay, get this right the first time, Kasumi. You can do this. You can do this. Channel your inner... person with a lot of poise and grace and whatnot. Yes. Right. Kasumi cleared her throat and stood at the head of the line, perfume box and book ready and waiting to complete the task. The book and perfume box were balance precariously on her ghostly head and it took every ounce of self-control to keep from phasing both of the objects to the floor. Hands at her side, shoulders back, head up, Kasumi started to walk the line.
Left, right, left right... concentrate!
She made it to the end of the line without any major issues, but turning around proved to be a problem. The book wobbled, the perfume shifted, but ultimately, either prayer or excellent luck (or pity, who knew) kept the objects firmly on her head. Taking her steps back down the line. Kasumi made it to the end, took the books off her head and nearly cried with joy. She didn't fail this time!

((rolling just to show if Natalia got hit in the head or missed the dog or wutevz))
"Oh look!" Natalia thrummed moments before the books began to fly. "A coin!" Wondering who it might belong to, Natalia dipped forward with her legs as straight as they could be, reaching out for the glistening object. Suddenly things started to fly and a bark mixed with the shredding of paper echoed. Students were flailing about, but Natalia...she had been too preoccupied and stood erect right after a book had gone whizzing past her head. "What the--" She murmured, a squeal catching in her throat as more things came her way.
Thank goodness for the greed within the ghoul, her orange eyes slowly shutting after having been opened wide in surprise. What the hell kind of class was this?! Turning to the teacher, Natalia frowned and rubbed the back of her head gently. Homework...gross.
