" Do you want me to stop? " She said asking Kai as she looked at him lowering her hand to stop the wave and calm the ocean down making a cool and soothing breeze. She watched him as he floated in that one spot a soft laughter excaping her lips.

Yuzi turns around. "Nah,may I join?" She said, feeling bored.

" What do you think Kai, Shall we soak her with ocean water " She asked in a new roman times kinda way. She laughed and brought the water from the air and made it into a ball she threw it at Yuzi " Yes you mY " she laughed.

Amberlyn stood by the rocks, staring out into the ocean. She couldn't shake away all of her sadness. She payed no mind to the rest of the students who found this place as well. Streams of tears fell from her eyes as she thought of her father. She never got to say good bye, she never got to see him one last time.

Kai smiled and splashed at Yuzi. Kai looked at the new girl and stopped splashing. He left the water and walked to her. Then whiped her tears. "You okay?" He asked smiling.

Amberlyn blushed at the sudden feel of his hand. She didn't even notice him walk over. She was too deep in remorse. Normally, she'd be cold to someone who approached her, but she was sick of trying to push everyone away because she was angry. She sniffled and shook her head. Rubbing her arm, she looked Kai in the eyes and replied, "Just... upset." She couldn't keep eye contact when she felt this way. She looked back up and said, "You didn't have to come over here, you were having a good time.." Since she heard the news she hadn't been the nicest person and she wasn't used to someone showing sympathy. It was as if it was foreign.

October looked at the girl " Would you like to play with us? " She asked giving a sweet smile. She never liked it when people were sad.

"Seeing people not okay makes me not okay and i dont like to be not okay." He smiled a childish smile. "Im Kai. Thats Yuzi and October, who're you?"

She looked at the girl and smiled slightly. "I'm Amberlyn, and this," she said as she wiped her eyes clear of tears, "doesn't happen often, I promise." She felt herself wanting to be cruel and push them away now that they saw her vulnerable... but she couldn't. They were being kind to her and her mother wouldn't appreciate her being such a witch. She laughed silently at the pun she made. "I'd rather not, thank you for the offer though."

"Well if you say so." He shrugged and walked back to the group and sat in the sand black ice shards dancing around him.

" Okay, really doesn't matter to me " She made a little cloud appear over her own head and made it snow. She giggled and made a little snow man on a rock. " Boom, avalanch " She said giggling.

Amberlyn sat down at the shoreline and fiddled with the water she cupped in her hands, bending it and shaping it at her will. This action gave her some happiness. She finished playing with the water, stood up, and waved good-bye to the kind boy and friendly girl, not sure if they noticed.

October noticed the girl waved good-bye. She waved back and threw a snow ball at Kai. She laughed and looked at her snowman. " I bet he didn't feel it. " She said with a small bit of laughter.

October pouted " Your not supposed to block it your supposed to let it hit you. She looked at her snow man who also pouted " Don't be upset snowman winter is already here, for me of course " She laughed softly
