No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick turned to Eveline as she spoke to him. He didn't answer right away, instead he looked out to the dead horses. Beatrix, Izual and Omni were out there. He sensed several different emotions. Each of them had they're own reason to go out to that spot. But only one person's caught his attention the most, Omni's...But he kept it to himself. He turned back to Eveline and smiled. " Actually, they are much more than friends. " he said with a calming smile, but this was different then his normal way of smiling. This one had the same calm look and the same look as if he was very compassionate, it showed more of a happiness to it. " This is Ayna her daughter Alinia and they're holy night Alerius. They all I trust with my life. " he said with a quick nod looking back to Anya giving her a caring smile. "Ayna, Alerius, Alinia, This is Eveline. She as well the girl out there are very good friends, well more like family." He told the three.
The Phantom blaze Kazale kept behind Beatrix till she came to as top and started shouting. He came up and stood next to Beatrix just watching. He really had nothing to say about the situation. From his perspective, Omni was being a bit to hasty and a hint protective but only of the dead horses. This confused the majestic beast but yet again, he did not do anything. Only way he would is if something came to attack.
They say.... That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe But I I rather kill myself then turn into their slave Sometimes I feel that I should go and play with the thunder Somehow I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

RendusBard and Storyteller of the Greenvale Woods
Rendus smiled as he watched the calm grassland of the Green Sea. A wind then blew a soft gust and the grass around the storyteller danced along the gust, thus making a magical moment for several moments before it came back to its stillness. Nonetheless, the Green Sea still looked verdant, superb and calming; perhaps, Rendus thought, he could make a house here and make this place as his "vacation spot". He smiled at this thought and then came back to his book.
Rendus was a tall man bearing well-formed physique. Due to numerous times travelling with his father in hunting stags and whatnot, he grew lean and muscular; besides this, he also grew agile and fast, learning his father's ways in the forests about fast mobility. He was handsome and charming, enough to entrap ladies into a spell cast by his charm. He also had jet-black hair, which he got from his father, although his eyes came from his mother - cool blue eyes.
Turning back to his work, he pulled out a quill from his bag and then flipped a few pages of the Book of Stories. The book contained drawn pages of short stories Rendus collected since he was a child. There were stories like like "The Prince and the Puppet" and "The Seventh Dark Night of the Kingdom of Bala'ah". Some of them, strangely, was already written in the book by the time he received this from his father; however, majority of the stories were still empty. And using the quill he pulled out, he continues to fill the book of stories from all the places he encountered. So far, he had written a story he named "The Hunter and the Talking Panther"; this story came from the Forest of the Heart. Now, he was going to start making a story about the Green Sea.
Suddenly, before he could even write the first word of the story, Rendus caught the scent of a rotting flesh. He instantly gagged at this and then stuffed his book in his bag. He dashed at the river rushing a few feet away from him and then washed his face as he began to turn pale at the horrible smell filling the air before him. As time flew by, the rotting scent grew in strength and was revolting to the point of making Rendus nauseous. "What is that smell?! Where does it come from?!" He gasped to himself as he picked his bag and then began to walk away, all thoughts of writing in the area gone from his mind.
And then, a thing leaped from the nearby grass that made Rendus gag in revulsion but also draw his bow. His eyes widened in shock as he saw a some sort of dog but seemed to be a deformed replica of the said creature. Rendus began to back out as he realized that the first two "legs" of the dog was made of human hands and the two "hind" legs were made of two left side feet of humans, too. The creature was bloodied and looke as if its skin has been forcefully pulled from its flesh. "No... no... what are... you?" Rendus gasped as he back out and the creature growling under its breath. The smell filled Rendus' nostrils and his stomach lurched over. He instantly pulled out an arrow from his quiver and then aimed for the creature.
The creature was fast as it sprang from its position and then dashed towards Rendus. He gasped in horror as he released the arrow as the creature leaped into the air. The arrow flew in the air and struck the creature at its left eye. It gave off a loud yelp of pain and then dropped at the ground with sickening thud. Rendus spared no time and ran away from the creature.
He wasn't able to properly see anything afterwards but he knew that he was being followed by more of the creatures. Rendus ran as fast as he can and he heard the grasses before him being rustled as more of the "dogs" chased after him. "Damn it!" Rendus exclaimed in frustration and then cursed loudly. Once or twice, he thought he saw the grass beside him move but he wasn't sure if it was just his mind making things because of the panic.
One thing was for sure though: the creatures chased him constantly.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- Eveline's finger on Eric's nose made it really hard for the fortune teller to resist blushing. It was pure luck that he managed to pull it off. "The village... Right, yeah, it can wait." Eric may have been able to stop himself from blushing, but talking seemed hard to pull off at the moment. Eric's awkward smile corrected itself, and Eric quickly looked away. He had other things that he was supposed to be worrying about. It was absolute madness that he was worrying about his own feelings rather than the wellbeing of the group, which seemed to be in much mre danger at the moment, with all the odd creatures, the hell hound and finally the mystery vision. Eric sighed quietly.
His train of thought was interupted when Eveline spoke to Maarick. She mentioned some new arrivals who had joined the group without Eric's notice. The fortune teller glanced over, slightly surprised by his obliviousness, which wasn't at all like him. "Damn, I'm losing my touch." He noted to himself quietly. When did things start catching me by surprise? I'm supposed to know things before they happen. I'm also supposed to be observant. Why the hell didn't I notice Maarick's friends until now? This is ridiculous! Eric shook his head, and then looked back to the new arrvals. He smiled. "Don't I deserve an introduction, too? " Eric asked, laughing a little, trying to cover up his worry. He had spent the entire trip worrying, and it was starting to drive him crazy. This wasn't him. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Alerius shook his head, pulling out a potion bottle bluish in color and downed the bottle.A strange land, he nodded curtiously as he took a small bow. "Maarick, Dadrik, and I are long time allies, brothers in arms."He says properly. "Alerius, Master Holy knight." He said moving his hair from in front of his eyes most call him evil by look but his use is pure holy, his hand rests now on his sword as he adjusts his tunic slightly as well though, he doesn't have tons to say anyway, his fighting usually put his skill for him, he took possition by Alinia and Ayna.
Alinia giggled she loved traveling by wind, though she knew of arguements Alerius and Ordonn had gotten into over Ordonn sending Alerius off due to magic, She smiles happily, though she really wasn't paying too much attention at the moment her thoughts were all over the place. "I'm a Holy Knight in training."She says happily and proudly hitting her chest a little too hard, she wanted to know how she looked to Dadrik but he wasn't there yet...Yet... "Ow."She had hit herself too hard. "Ow." She repeats rubbing her chest gently.
Ayna giggled softly as Alinia hit herself a little too hard. "Mind your strength daughter."She advised. "A pleasure."She smiles kindly with a bow. "A friend of a friend, is a friend of mine." She says kindly with a small bow. "I as well am a holy knight Alerius trained me, and is helping out my daughter as well."She says with a smile looking at Maarick, then to Alinia who didn't seem like she was fully there.

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick laughed a little when Alinia hit her chest. "Yes, careful Alinia." He then turned to Eric, taking in mind his comment about being introduced. Maarick had not forgotten him, in fact he was about to also introduce him. " Yes, indeed you do Eric." He said turning toward Ayna, Alinia, and Alerius. " This is my friend Eric, he is a very talented fortune teller." He then turned back to Eric and smiled. "And Eric, there's no need to be so worried." He said walking over to him facing the opposite way, then gently placing his hand on Eric's shoulder. Maarick then leaned in to his ear. " You two are on the same page, don't feel out of place. Just give it time..her time." He said very lightly so only he would hear. Maarick then backed his head up a bit and flicked his eyes toward Eveline, gesturing she was who he was talking about. Maarick then turned away and started to head toward Beatrix, Izual and Omni. But in mid walk he stopped quickly shifting his head to his side He then lifted his head looking to the sky then he closed his eyes. He then took a deep breath and the wind swirled around him then pushed outward and pushed outward in all directions thrghout the Grass lands. The wind even pushed quite heavily past Beatrix Omni and Izual. Moments later he opened his eyes and he took a short breath through his nose.. "Someone's in trouble...It smells of rotting flesh. I'll tell those three to head to the village." He turned back toward them, and then looked at Alinia. " I expect you to protect everyone. " He then looked back to Ayna and smiled lightly. " I will be back soon. " Turning to Eric and Eveline he gave small bow. " Eric, please watch after them as well. You may find yourself useless at times but I have the up most faith in you. You are great, never think different. Ok. Now, I'm going to get those three to come back, once they do, go to Glennwood. It is only about 2 miles south of here." he said, and no sooner his body flickered and he was gone.
Maarick's body flickered into place on top of the fallen Carriage, his scythe in his left hand. " Everyone, There are more of these creatures near by, get back to the group and go with everyone to Glennwood. Omni, I'm trusting you to help protect everyone and Kazale, You know what to do." he said with a serious look on his face. " I'll meet you all there, someone's in danger. " He said looking over to Beatrix, possable the only one that could tell how tired Maarick actually was. How drained. He made eye contact, but it wasn't only his his tiredness in his eyes, but a happiness as well. As if something lifted his soul, his worry. "Now go." He said and his body flickered and he was gone.
In the middle of the grass fields, a man began to run from the rotting flesh ridden mutant creatures created to kill. He had managed to kill one, but there were already more on his tail. The man ran as fast as he could but these creatures never stopped till they were dead. And the grass gave perfect cover for how they hunted. He could not see them as they stalked him, but they didn't need they're sight, they had his footsteps and scent. He wouldn't know when one attacked, and at this rate he would get killed. That is when the wind started to blow unnaturally all around him, but then pushed outward all around the man that ran. Seven creatures were following him. It was a pack. At the moment the wind pressed outward the creatures started to make more sound before, snarls and howls coming from they're mugs, as if they felt threatened. The grass started to shuffle more as they ran, having to make they're move before it was to late. One creature leaped out of the grassy land toward the man, but in mid air next to the creature a flicker appeared but only for a millisecond, only enough time for someone to see a blur or a shadow. But the creature, was cut straight in half at the abdomen. Blood came from its body and plopped to the ground. Then three more jumped out at the man all were infront of him by each other. But before they got close, the wind swirled around them like a small tornado and spun them taking the creatures away. As they were twirling in the vortex, what seemed like four slightly visible crescent shaped wind blasts shot into the vortex and no sooner the vortex started to cut the creatures up into pieces, turning the vortex into a blender. Three more creatures remained. The ruffling of leaves were heard circling around the man on either side, jumping out at him from different angles. But yet again they were stopped mid jump. The same crescent shaped wind flew past and the man toward the way he was looking. The creatures blood spurted out as they fell to the ground with a thud. One more. But this one this time came out of the grass right infront of the man, growling at the man. But his eyes were not at the mans eyes, more so over the mans shoulder, as if it was looking at something behind him. Then it lunge jumped at the man. That is when a body flickered infront of the man. Maarick stepped back, grabbed hold of his scythe with both hands and struck his scythe upward in a diagonal, manner then quickly shifted his blade, and slashed horizontally, Slicing the creature in multiple pieces.

RendusBard and Storyteller of the Greenvale Woods
Rendus was taken aback when he felt everything happen in such a fast pace. He couldn't say anything, couldn't comment on anything or perhaps utter a some sort of thought regarding the events that transpired because they flashed before him like a lightning bolt. The storyteller watched in awe and shock as he saw the pack of "dogs" get brutally mutilated in a matter of moments. Whoever did this, he or she must be incredibly fast. However, it was not long before the savior of Rendus the Storyteller appeared before him; he was a man bearing a rather... angelic face but the prowess enough for a god. Slightly taken aback after the man delivered his last blow at the last creature, Rendus took a step back feeling a faint feeling of fear in his chest at his savior himself.
Of course, out of courtesy, Rendus wanted to say something, anything, to the man who just saved his life. Yet, his fear of the man's prowess took the better of him and was unable to speak anything. He just gazed at the man with those fearful eyes of his. Rarely in his life that Rendus felt genuine fear, this time, he was fairly sure that he feared this man before him. Yet, even though he was scared of him, he didn't know WHY he was. This man saved him from the vile creatures, yet why was he scared of him? Was it because the man had superior powers? Was it because he was tantalized by...
Rendus struggled. "Th-thank y-you... thank... you..." The storyteller uttered softly, his voice getting weaker and weaker as he looked at the man before him. Still, it was a fact that the man just saved him from being gobbled by the dogs; Rendus needed to pay respects, at least, to the man. "I-I-I w-wouldn't ha-have survived..." He desperately tried once again, his voice faltering at the very second.
It was only a split second warning when the next horrible thing happened. The ground before them shook and trembled. And with a sudden burst of unknown force, the ground exploded into thousands pieces, showering the entire area of dirt, grass and rocks. Rendus gave a yell of shock and horror as he realized the origin of the commotion. Standing twenty feet tall before them, a some sort of humongous worm twirled its body at them. It had a pale color, like those of common worm colors, and its head was like a huge opening with thousands of small fangs that was likely to rip a person in just one grab. At that instant, another surge of sickening smell filled the air twenty times worse than the smell of the dogs. Rendus gave one step back and then retched and threw up at the ground, unable to endure the sickening smell of the worm.
After giving him space to recover, Rendus then instinctively pulled his bow and then loaded it with his arrows. "Hey you! Get away!" Rendus yelled at the man. At once, he felt the surge of power inside him that traveled from his chest up to the tips of his finger that held the arrow and the bow. The bow and arrow glowed a greenish light as Rendus looked for a spot where to strike the creature. Then, he saw a black orb hanging several inches the worm's mouth and thought that it was its eyes. A perfect marksman, Rendus shot the arrow with extensive precision and accuracy.
The arrow flung itself in the air and then struck the orb perfectly. The worm flinched and then let out a sickening scream as the arrow suddenly exploded and writhing vines and roots tangled themselves from Rendus' arrow. The worm thrashed about but still looked capable of killing them. It was still strong. "This-this is going to take much more than a single arrow!" He yelled at the other man.
This was going to be a long fight. And the monster let out a loud cry that shook the ground and rent the heavens.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- Eric waved when he was introduced. "It's nice to meet all of you." He chimed happily, still covering up his worry. The newcomers were very interesting people, and Eric liked interesting people. They usually had some of the most interesting fortunes, and he could usually get alot more money out of them. Of course, the point of the trip wasn't cash. Getting some money during the trip would be a bonus, but it definately wasn't first priority. Eric blocked the thought of money from his mind, though only so he could concentrate on what Maarick had to say as he walked by the fortune teller. Eric's eyes widened as he was told that he and someone else were on the same page, and that he should give HER time. When Maarick gestured to Eveline, Eric glanced over to confirm what he was thinking. Had Maarick just implied that Eveline felt the same way? No, it couldn't be that. Eric was a poor fortune teller, and she was a rich noble. It just couldn't work. But that wasn't what threw Eric off the most. It was the fact that Maarick knew. Was Eric that obvious? Was it that clear that he felt that way about Eveline? Eric turned a little red. There was no way he could stop himself from blushing. No way at all.
Now that that ordeal was done, something else happened. Apparently someone was in danger somewhere else, meaning that Maarick would have to leave, and that Eric was in charge of watching over the group. Wait, why had Eric gotten that job? He had no fighting talent. An old dagger, weak telekinesis and the power to influence people's thoughts to an extent were fairly useless in a battle. Then again, why did it matter. The others were about just as useful from wha he could tell. The group was not made up of fighters. It was made up of tourists, if anything. Eric sighed, and hoped that he could prove useful. "I, for one, think that since Omni, Izual, and Beatrix have Kazale for protection, that they can handle themselves if something goes wrong. They only have a little bit of distance to make up for, so they can catch up no problem. I know this is going to sound horrible, but the longer we stay out here, the better the chance is that we will be attacked by those weird creatures or the hellhound again. If we leave now, we can get to a village where there's shelter, and protection from the dangers of the green sea. The others will catch up to us soon, so we should get started. We don't have to go quickly, we just have to go." Eric looked very serious. He wasn't going to let anyone get hurt, and staying still in one place made them easy targets for the creatures of the green sea. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline smiled as she listened quietly as Maarick introduced his companions. She held back a giggle as the girl who was in training hit her own chest, a little too hard. She didn't want to seem rude to the new group of people. "It's a pleasure to meet you all." she said and bowed as well. If these people were friends of Maarick then she knew that they we people that she could trust. She glanced over to find Maarick whispering in Eric's ear and raised a brow. What was he talking about? she wondered. Then she noticed the color change on her friends cheek and slightly titled her head to the side.
Once Maarick had left and after Eric had voiced his opinion on what they should do a small frown formed on to her lips. "Ah...if you think that is the best plan...I mean, you are right....we are out in the open...but I don't want just take off...what if they don't know how far the village is?" She let out a soft sigh and shook her head. She understood what Eric was saying and she knew Beatrix and the others could handle themselves but she didn't want them to be completely lost out here. I'm sure that they can find the village...they can catch up...if not maybe Maarick could track them down. She thought. "Alright Eric..I'll go..." She looked over at the other three in the group. "What about you three? will you join us? I'm sure he is right. The others will be fine. The creatures that crawl around here are very nasty...If we make it to shelter soon, we will be okay."
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be
What a shame we all became, xxxxxxxxsuch fragile broken things, A memory remains, xxxJust a tiny spark, xxxxxxxI give it all my oxygen, XXXXXXXXXto let the flames begin, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOh glory...

~+~Beatrix~+~

Beatrix let out a soft sigh and nodded to the both of them. Her gaze fell on Izual and smiled at him. She felt sorry for the little bat, he seemed to just be hungry but it was so dangerous to be out here, just the three of them. There could be another group of those creatures coming their way. She didn't want to take the chance. "Yes, when we go some place that is safe, then I won't bug you again about feeding, alright?" she glanced over at Omni and gave him a small smile. There was something terribly off about him but she didn't want to pry too much into it.
At that moment she felt a gust of wind and her gaze shifted over to the carriage, only to find Maarick. Her ears lowered slightly to his news about the monsters in the area. She then gave him a quick nod and watched him disappear again. "Alright...lets head back to the others before we run in to those things again..." she said as she turned towards the direction that they had came from. "I don't want to run into those things again. Nasty creatures..."
.
Somewhere weakness is our strength, And I'll die searching for it, I can't let myself regret, such selfishness, My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope,
buried beneath it all..

"Nightmare" Omni resisted the roll of his eyes at this bat. He was a leech, feeding off of others' abilities and talents in place of his own. The dog's ears pinned back against his messy blond hair for a moment as the thing spoke of another creature taking it--0 that was exactly the problem. Nightmare was getting hungry, and although he was not as weak as he told the others in this group--having been healed by the others, he still felt a protective instinct over the meal.
His ears lifted slowly, before looking back down to the leech. "Aye. I'll get ya food, since ya can't get it yerself.." He said, with a slight irritated tone, before his head rotated to look at Beatrix. He noticed her smile, and returned it, a weak wagging of his blond tail. just as his ears were upright, the just of wind shoved them forcefully, and in reaction, he pinned them back down to avoid the discomfort. The gust of wind was rather sudden, and as he felt another presence, his eyes fell upon Maarick, atop the Carriage.
"Oh, hi! Fancy seein' ya here--" He was cut off by Maarick's words. He stopped to listen, his ears slowly, very hesitantly, rising atop his head. His amber eyes were widened slightly, reflecting a childlike wonder, perhaps. Glennwood was a place he'd never quite reached, but Nightmare knew his Master wanted to spread the death there. Perhaps he could assist her, by going with these people. Yet, again, Omni felt a reluctance in harming these people..
He turned around tof ace the group's direction. "Aye! I c'n do that! Alrighty, let's go back there!" He paused, sending a sideways glance to the bat. "We'll getcha food, let's go now!" With that, he walked forward, his tail swishing.

"Of course we will join you."Ayna nods looking at the other two happily, she was the leader for the most part, Alinia much too young and Alerius is more like a body guard than anything at the moment as she looked at him kindly. "The pleasure is mine as well to meet you."She says with a nod looking at Alinia. "Are you alright?" she asks her daughter she knew Maarick was alright and would quickly be back noting the directions given. "you need not stay with us, if you have other things to attend too then I am sure we can handle ourselves."
"I'm fine Mom."Alinia smiles as she looks around, only partly listening to the adults around her, she like most kids has a one track mind and hers was on seeing her long time absent friend but she'd try to be patient he'd be along eventually but patience eluded Alinia as she fiddled with her tunic a bit
Alerius was curious about these new foes but what knight wouldn't be who had seen a crap load of demons and other beings that wanted his head not that he would seriously go looking but Maarick went off, he pondered what tactics he may need to use though he wasn't one for talking as he looked at the others. "Either way is alright with me."he knew his job currently was to watch and care for Alinia and his Queen Ayna, other duties he had came second.

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted .
Maarick let his scythe disperse as he turned toward Rendus and was about to introduce himself when he felt something under his feet, a very faint rumbling noise. He then turned as the ground started to shake, looking directly in the place that some sort of worm creature broke the surface of the ground. Maarick's face didn't looked surprised, nor did it look scared. It was calm and relaxed looking. Quickly he looked over at the man he just saved as he pulled his bow and shot the creature in the eye after telling him to get out of here. It seemed he used some sort of Magic on his arrow. Maarick turned away back at the Giant worm. "I'm not going anywhere, not as long as your out here about to die." He told the man. Maarick Closed his eyes and the wind started to flow around him, swirling, and as it did so a emerald shimmer started to be gained by the wind.
As Maarick manipulated the wind, he pushed it outward to the creature. The wind Engulfed the creature, but didn't seem to do anything. Soon the wind died down and he slowly opened his eyes. 'Nine heartbeats.' He thought. " It has nine hearts, only two ways your going to kill this thing. Either you have to shoot it till it's dead...which will most likely be quite impossible. Or...." he paused for a second looking over to him. " you make nine precise shots. How good are you I wonder?" He said with a small smile. " Don't worry, I won't let this thing kill you." He said as he lifted his hand up palm up and his hand open. The wind started to swirl around on the top of his hand, going upward. As the wind raised upward, something started to form. The wind started crystallizing into something. When it finished, the form was very notice able. It looked like an arrow, a very elegant and fragile glass Arrow. It was clear but had a green tint to it.
Maarick took hold of his arrow and his body flickered, instantly showing up next to the man. " Use this, It can do multiple things. Two of which, When your about to shoot it, the wind swirls around it. Making it's piercing potential better by ten fold. And the second, snap your fingers and it will return to you." He told him handing over the arrow to the man. "Now." He said turning back toward the worm as it streaked then lunged out it's massive body at the two. Maarick took hold of the man and they both flickered. He had no time to give warring about the speed the fact his body may not deal to well to it. But it was better than him being crushed under the giant worm. The man and Maarick flickered into place several yards away from the worm and its pounding of the ground. Dirt and debris was thrown everywhere as the worm landed with a tremendous slam to the ground. "I'll reveal the location's of the hearts, Your going to have to pierce them. I'll stab into the creature's body exactly where you have shoot. " Maarick to told the man then brought his hand up a bit, making the wind come around him then his arm down to his hand. It started to swirl again. The wind began to gain a emerald shimmer just as it did before till it started to create another object, a staff up to a blade until his scythe was created.
The Phantom blaze
Kazale sniffed around and swiveling his head making sure nothing came up. He did listen to the arguments and everything but it wasn't his place to say anything. He was here for one real reason, and that was for Beatrix. He did not care who wanted food, or why Omni was acting like a dog protecting his kill, he didn't even wonder why he was acting like it. But he did notice it. It was obvious to him, Kazale did the same thing in the past before everything had happened to him. He protected his hunt. His ears stood up and turned a bit as he heard Maarick speak. His head quickly turned toward him but soon he was gone. The wolf then turned toward Beatrix and took steps toward her. He leaned his head down to poke her hand with his nose. " Get on, I'll take you to the others." he said to her.

Luciel "Yasei" BleakwoodThe small sparrow flew high above the skies of the Green Sea. The wind here was gentle, ruffling her soft downy feathers. However, the smell that it brought with it was not what the Shapeshifter had expected: the smell of rot and death. Her eyes flinched, threatening to shut, as if she did not want to meet such a scent.
The Shapeshifter's eyes moved to the sight coming upon her: a small dog-like creature, but with the wings similar to an eagle. The creature bore it's teeth, some of it's ivories missing, others larger than it sound be,as if they were added in with stitchwork. The sparrow flew faster, but the larger wings of the beast caught up within no time. It clamped down upon her left wing, and she began to hurdle downward, before hanging within the canine's grasp..
Then, a snarl tore for the sparrow, before it's form changed very suddenly. Downy, brown feathers smoothed out into a golden fur, speckles of black every now and again. A beak grew into a rounded, large muzzle, and beady black eyes grew larger, and a brilliant gold in hue. The form had come swiftly, and as soon as it had manifested, so did it's true size. The Sabertooth Tigress still bore it's wings, even the one shut within the beast's mouth.. But even larger than the poor thing itself. Flapping against the dog, it hung helpessly in her previous stead, and with a single forceful beat, she thrust it into the grasses below, and let herself fall upon it, one single clawed, massive paw crushing the life from it.
The tigress spent no time to catch her breath. She could hear, in the near distance of the grass, a terrible shriek of pain, and it wasn't human. The tigress padded along swiftly, her wings folding against her back. It seemed that most of these beings were ground-based, and were she in trouble, she would make a valid escape by flying away. To the left of her, a behemoth worm faced the storyteller and a green-haired man. The cat's ears pinned back against her head harshly, as her oversized fangs begged to place themselves deep within that rotted flesh. Those two were not her companions or comrades; but this place needed to be purged of what plagued it.. The cat lowered herself, folding her wings tighter against her feline bodice. Her claws jutted from their sheaths within her paw's digits with anticipation, softly burying themselves into the soil and grass below her, as she made her way to the target, her eyes glinting harshly with a premonition of death. Then, it happened.
Her ears met with the shifting of grass, and as her head turned, another creature made it's way out. It's bodice resembled a canine's, but with the head of a human female, boasting arms on it's back shoulders that groped out toward the Lioness. It made an odd hissing sound to her, as it raced forward. Luciel thrust her chest and belly lower in a pounce, before she leapt outward to it, releasing the tension built within her back legs.
The large muscular feline lunged out into the sight of Rendus and Maarick, as she pinned the beast to the ground below her, head paw mashing the creature's torso to the grass. It's extra arms had reached over it's pinned state, ripping at her front legs, leaving shallow claw marks upon her fur, staining it's golden hue with crimson. She snarled ferociously, her gleaming ivory meeting the sun's light before she buried her jaws into the neck of the creature, gashing her jaws closed before ripping her head upward, tearing the flesh of the neck in half, leaving the head now separated.
She looked at the worm intently, her wings slightly unfolding, before she leapt again, with newfound height from her wingspan, and forced her weight upon the head's base at it's neck, as if trying to pin it's span to the ground as well as immobilizing it, to allow them to finish it for her. She slammed it into the earth, and held it down against it's writhing, as it released another irritated shriek. Her jaws clamped around inside it's writing body, her front claws hiding it against the earth as her rear leg's paws raked at the underbelly of the worm, as she held it still.
..If Rendus paid attention to the Lioness, he would notice something: The panther's wound from his grazing arrow was upon this feline's head, exactly the same..

RendusBard and Storyteller of the Greenvale Woods
"Don't be arrogant, traveler!" Rendus hissed at the green-haired man. "You'll get killed if you stay here! I know you saved me from the canine creatures but you're no match for this huge creature; I can take it alone!" He added before the stranger closed his eyes and Rendus felt the wind around him move, as if swirling, around the green-haired man. The storyteller gasped. His savior had an affinity with the wind, ergo explaining his ability to move in extreme speed. This was no simple traveler, of course.
Soon after that, the stranger "pushed" the wind around him towards the gigantic worm. At once, the wind bane engulfed the worm but it did little harm, which confused Rendus. It seemed that the green-haired man was trying to identify something until he informed the storyteller all about its "nine hearts". Rendus' eyes widened in horror as he realized that the creature was, of course, not only durable but also had a terribly long lifespan. His savior also informed him that Rendus could not do it alone in killing it and that he was determined to help. The storyteller nodded in response, since it was futile to convince the man to retreat. They would have to fight the creature together now.
After that, the stranger conjured another power of the wind and handed Rendus a crystallized arrow. Rendus stared at it. It was glassy and looked very elegant. He didn't know what it did until the stranger explained its purpose. It had the power of the wind instilled within it making its strength multiplied by tenfold and that it would come back to Rendus in a snap. The storyteller nodded just in time as the worm lunged at them. The stranger grabbed him and with a flicker, they were now several yards away from the destruction caused by the gigantic worm.
"Yes, inform me about the location of the hearts as soon as you can!" Rendus said and then decided to gain a little bit of distance. But before leaving, he stared back at the green-haired man and said, "I'm Rendus, by the way." And then, he turned to gain some distance from the worm, which had been squirming all over the place.
It was by this time when a swift figure leaped from the grass and then lunged at the worm. Rendus let out a short cry of shock before he realized that it was a huge feline attacking the worm. He wanted to shout at the feline but since it was an animal, it was likely to heed the orders of a human. Rendus took this distraction to his advantage by loading one of his common arrow and then aimed at the creature's head. In a moment, there was a burst of green light and a jet of magical energy, loaded within the arrow, flew towards the creature and struck it its would-be forehead. The arrow landed with a sickening crush and the worm gave an ear-splitting cry of pain and writhed harder than ever.
Suddenly, the part where the arrow struck began to burst with plant life. Vines and tendrils began to burst from the hole in which the arrow hit. Within moments, flowers of all sizes and shapes began to cover its head, thus blinding it momentarily. Rendus felt his arms weakening as he first felt the signs of the magic he just conjured; his eyes began to droop but he fought if off. For a moment, Rendus was livened by a short fresh of sweet flowers coming from the worm's head thus relieving him from the sickening smell of death and decay.
And then, with a flicker of second, he saw the feline's head and saw an extremely familiar and coincidental wound from it. "YOU!" He exclaimed in shock as he realized that it was one of the two main characters of the story, "The Hunter and the Talking Panther".

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted .
Before Maarick had tackled Rendus out of the way of the lunging worm, Maarick's head turned slowly to Rendus as he shouted to leave, that he couldn't handle this creature by himself. The truth though was that he could of got all nine hearts in just a couple seconds if that. He could take this creature, it was nothing compared to what he has dealt with in the past. Although, he has been pushing himself lately because he was weakened from not fulfilling his need. But something as easy as this wouldn't take much from him. No, his goal was to only assist Rendus in succeeding, only stepping in to help him if absolutely necessary. To him, Having someone else succeed was more uplifting then him ending it by himself, being cocky and taking everything head on by himself. Maarick wanted to help this man succeed, not take it from him. Soon after They were out of the Danger zone Maarick looked back at Rendus. "Killed? " Maarick said simply and calmly to the man, his calm and serene smile never faltering from his lips. He hand now announced his name as Rendus and Maarick just gave a quick nod. "As My name Is Maarick Da'vion." He said shortly and respectfully. Maarick wasn't one to act to cocky or make comments about his words. Maarick knew that It would talk alot more then this worm could provide to kill him, but Rendus had no Idea what he was or anything about him in that aspect.
Maarick's eyes shifted as he heard the grass shuffle around, they quickly zoned into a spot just as another creature jumped out at the worm. This time it was different, the soul, the taste and the sent. All very familiar, not personal familiar, but race familiar to say.'A shape shifter?' Maarick wondered to himself. He turned back to Rendus studding his facial features, which made Maarick think that Rendus just saw a ghost or something from his past. He looked back at the tigers body and saw a scar on it's head. Thats when he heard it, Rendus shout out YOU. Maarick cocked an eye brow toward Rendus. " I'm assuming you've met this being before?" He asked as his eyes went back to the giant worm.
