"Of course I know what we're doing!" snapped Laura. Looking back in the direction of the dot, Laura was finally to make out more details. She could spot several buildings and thus decided it was a city. "I've been leading us to a city, one which is sure to have lots of exciting things to blow up," said Laura with a hint of irritation in her voice.

Troy made his way through the empty streets. The sun had set and all the townspeople had gone indoors to escape the chill of the night. Troy yawned slightly, since it was boring when there were no attractive women around. He quickly smiled as he heard the signature moaning sound heard from any busy whorehouse. The whorehouse was right at the end of the street and was obviously open for business. With a sexy grin on his face, Troy stepped through the doorway. With only a glance at the beautiful women who worked in the whorehouse, Troy asked with utter confidence, "So who's looking for someone to help warm their bed tonight?"

Dash suddenly cringed. He didn't drop Emmma, but he stepped back and groaned a little. "I have a weird feeling..." He said, looking at Gymmyk.
"You feel it too?" he asked him with a frown.
"Something...ANNOYING...Is in that place." They said at the same time.

"What the hell are you two rambling on about now?" snapped Laura. She was starting to get irritable, probably because she was tired of drudging through the plains while the hot sun beat down on her from above.

After Troy's announcement, three unattractive women who were standing around in boredom and quietly chatting wandered over in his direction. They each encircled him, eyeing him up with scrutinizing gazes. One of them, a scraggly middle-aged woman who was wearing a large powdered wig and a tattered Elizabethan gown, separated herself from the other two and asked in a harsh tone, "How much you got?" Troy smirked as he he pulled a large money bag out of his pocket and replied, "Enough to buy all of your services." The three women eyed the bag greedily as they drew closer. Troy had plenty of money to spend, since he had spent a month as a boy toy to a rich widow. The lead woman stepped even closer to Troy as she licked her lips, smearing her deep red lipstick. "So shall we head to the bed chambers?" asked the lead woman, the other two women giggling behind her. Troy shrugged slightly and said, "I think I'll see if your competition is any better." With a sly wink, Troy slid past the three women and went in search of some more attractive women.

Dash  Dash sighed. "Sadly not. And if he did die, I'd die." He said with a sigh. "So don't even try."Gymmyk chuckled. "You guys are stuck with me. Hehehehe!" He smiled, laughing creepily.

As Laura trudged on further, she slowly drowned out the noises made by her companions. Why had she sought the company of this mismatched group again? Surely she could have found excitement and adventure elsewhere on her own. Yet for some reason, she went right to this group first. Perhaps her initial excursion with them and the robots had been the reason. Laura had to admit that she had never felt so truly alive then during that time spent beating up robots. She also secretly relished the company, since she had spent so much of her life alone. Living for centuries and watching everyone you love and care about passing away in front of your eyes could do that to a person. Laura sighed inwardly as the city drew closer and darkness descended.

((Hope I'm picking up where I left off.))
"Haaaaaa!" Kid wailed and charged toward me and suddenly ducked and tried to sweep my feet again which was easily avoided by a slight jump, but I hadn't anticipated the return high kick of the same leg and was knocked back a few feet. She quickly charged her foot with some plasma and lept up and then tried an awkward looking kick as she flunger her torso to be level with the ground and then kicked at my head. "Hammer Blow!" she exclaimed as it connected with my block and send my sinking into the ground a few inches.
"This runt has some power..." I though quickly as I grabbed her foot and smashed her into the ground hard. "I hope that does it, ya brat!" I yelled at her but all of the sudden I didn't see her in the small crater I had made with her body. "Heh, heheeheee." I heard a contorted chuckle and turned around fast to see her head down, her body leaned forward slightly and she was bobbing at the knees, sort of like she was dancing.

"Hehehehehehahaha! Do ya feel the beat?" she asked looking up with eyes that were different from before. "You have to be able to feel this beat, the bass is overwhelming in this song." she continued. Her speech was different too. "Tell me I knocked something loose when I slammed you into the ground." I asked getting my guard up. "Maybe..." she answered and then disappeared.
"Hmmmm not good..." I thought as Kid reappeared in front of me lept back and shot a charged up right hook. It was still slow enough to block but she started with a left hook too. "This is the 'Hook'!" she yelled and they came faster and faster. "It's catchy! You like it!" she continued as I couldn't keep up and she pounded me back and knocked me through a wall. "Hehehehahahahahahaha! What you can't dance?" she taunted and went back to her bobbing to an unheard rhythm.
I threw a chair at her she gracefully brushed off. "I can dance better than you brat. But I need to ask you something. Do you always call on another personality to help you when you can't win?" I taunted back wiping what looked like blood or oil off my cheek. "Heh, so you figured it out. Well I'll fill you in. Kid doesn't know I exist. She's not mentally strong enough for this body. But I am!" she said disappearing again but I was one step ahead of her and was behind her when she reappeared. "You know...my little sister was fast like you are. In fact she used it one time to beat me in a match. But then again she favored power over speed, and thats how she liked it. I enjoyed messing with my opponents head like I'm doing now." I spoke and then vanished as she did as well only to appear behind her again. "I should mention I can read your mind." I lied and grabbed her wrist before she tried to run. "If I knock you silly will I get that other girl back? I kind of sort of hate you alot and well...would rather you disappeared!" I said pulling her toward me to punch her stomach and throw her to the ground.

"Oh I don't want to kill...." started Ashtara, glowering.
"Goddamnit." sighed Emmma.
"You would be suprised..." she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, her pointy fangs shining and in her insane eyes a demonic blaze: "...what people can survive!"
"Uh-oh..." Emma gulped, she knew her unwiling companion by heart, having spent a lot of time in her head.
"Not very good, no...."

Tired of her contemplating, Laura's attention transferred from herself to her companions. She seemed to have returned to reality at the right moment, since the demon seemed to be uttering threats. Deciding to try and put a little scare into a few of them, Laura said, "Ah, torture. I personally prefer draining a victim dry of all but the last bit of blood, that way they continue to live. Once they have recuperated, it can be done all over again. Excellent way to collect blood." Laura licked her lips hungrily and then turned away with a smirk.
