She felt a sudden stab of jealousy, he had just met the teacher..and already shes offering another help. ~What am I saying?~ She thought to herself..of course she would, shes a teacher and Katorin..is what..her friend? Yes..she could call him that.
She was just being petty about the whole thing.
Turning too feather, she nodded her head in agreement. "This is true..whenever your ready, im willing to learn." She said, still keeping her sword out.

Bard A falcon screached from high in the air and swooped through the open window. It landed on Katorin's shoulder and released a small letter from its beak before turning and flying back out the window. He opened it and was stunned for a moment, his face wasn't excited, nor surprised. But he pocketed the letter and sighed, "My stay here will be a short one." His hand firmly gripped the hilt of his large blade. "Jocelyn, we should meet under better circumstances. And this time no drinks." He said with a slight grin before turning and leaving, but he did so slow enough so that if she responded he could hear her and possibly reply -_-_---------------------------------------------"Death to all who oppose me.":::::x+x+x+:::::Who will break first? Jocelyn was generally sad that she saw him go. She really had no one, no friends here.
She was a warrior..she had to toughen it up if she wanted to get anywhere. "Yes Katorin..we must. Until next time my friend." She said calmly as she nodded her head to him.
She turned her body to her new teacher. "Im ready for whatever you got mam" she replied, standing evenly and awaiting her orders.

Feather 
"Alright. Well I think we're fine skipping the class and work on with your weapon skill....which weapon you wish to learn the first." she asked her. There are many weapons to choose among the list of them. Jocelyn may know some of her weapon class but she needs to know about the weapons itself.

Other:.
She brought her left hand out that was still holding her sword. It was different from the original sword she had which was a rapier, or more formally known as a court sword..but she read that it would be hard to train in that specific style. Thus, she opted for the Double-edged straight sword..a sword that is and was called the 'Jian'
It opted for speed, and finesse..somthing that she believed would be crucial for further training for a Swordmaster.
She expected that by showing Flower the sword..she would know what to expect next.
The only style for the 'Jian' was the Flower in the Breeze formation..
Jocelyn had studied the formation in the only sense of knowing what it was.She felt like it was suited for what she wanted..so she thought to go for it.

"Hmm...." Feather would say as she stared at her sword. "I see. The 'Jain's' Flower in the Breeze." She said like she got it right there. Feather put away her katana and grabbed an Jain. "Okay, follow my steps." She told Jocelyn. Feather did some attacks moves on the dummies, each different ones which actually seam easy to follow and having Feather's student follow like and pupal.
((D= 1 post each)) Swift Rhythm Rank: D Description: More of a counter attack than an actual offense this is best used with some imagination. First off slash towards the left then right. This serves as a parry to the enemie's attack. Upon slashing to the right or left, allow yourself to spin using the momentum of the slash. Coming across full circle, let your sword sail throught the air and stab the enemy Winds Change Rank: D Description: A quick attack usually for attacking those who have slower movements. Preform a spinning slash at their feet but as you do so raise one leg to kick them in the face halfway through your spin. Crescent Gust Rank: D Description: A quick two slash attack that can create openings for more. Quickly slash upwards with your sword while taking a step forward. Make sure that as you step and slash you are about to face away from them. Before you face away from them step back and slash upwards again. Do this quickly to surprise the enemy. Crescent Gust - Fake Rank: D Description: You preform the first quick slash but instead of slashing back you swing your leg into their face as you step back Wind's Deception Rank: D Description: More of a fake attack and distraction this can trip your opponent thus leaving him/her open. You slash upward, this may or may not hit the enemy, and then swing down. Obviously your enemy will bock the downward swing so you anticipate it and instead as you swing down extend your leg in between theirs and trip them with a kick.

Jocelyn watched and waited for her teacher to do the moves, the seemed easy..in terms of what she has seen, but doing it as she knew would be of a different spectrum.
Grabbing the sword in her left hand, she envisioned an imaginary enemy of sorts..almost like shadow boxing you could say.
She knew that it would be different in real life combat, but this would have to do for now. Swinging her sword left and right, imagining parrying the blows, she envisioned parrying the left side of the enemy's sword, and spun in a complete circle, using the momentum she had, she stabbed the enemy..or thought she did if all went according. (1/1)
Learned: Swift Rhythm (D)
From her previous move, she continued foreword, as she stabbed through the fake enemy her sword was brought near the ground, only being held an inch above it. She brought the sword around, going to hack at there feet as she pushed her weight on her right side and kicked her left foot up..slamming into its envisioned chin. The move, if landed right could hack at its feet and bust open there jaw. (1/1)
Learned: Winds Change (D)
Getting back on her feet, she began in rapid succession on the newest move. Slashing upwards, she turned to face away from the opponent, but right before she did went as fast as humanly possible and did so again, slashing upwards. She could see where this would be a good technique, but it to had its faults and openings for a deadly assault.(1/1)
Learned: Crescent Gust (D)
She went from the previous move right into this one, taking a step forword and making a quick slash upwards, but instead of turning away and repeating the upwards slash, she balanced on her left leg and brought her right up to where she would think her attackers face would be. (1/1)
Learned: Crescent Gust - Fake (D)
Taking a deep breath, she stepped back...getting her breaths back under control before she continued on..she was not sweating badly yet, but feint beads started to form above her forehead.The next move she saw feather do was a fake out..it looked risky, but yet again somthing that could be used against..say not so smart opponents.
Swinging up, she thought of them parrying the blow .
Swinging down, she moved to where there foot would be..moving it she could only imagine them falling as she delivered a downwards strike. (1/1)

She got back into regular stance, and looked to her teacher and nodded..she was ready for more..she could do more she knew she could.

"/very good." Feather said as she was watching her. "Now the Tiger's Fury's." She then do other moves, each one on a dummy like before for Jocelyn to watch and follow.
((C=7, -4 higher rank teacher, +1 higher rank skill, -2 class bounces, = 2 post each)) Tiger's Fury Rank: C Description: You move your body as to do a cartwheel but only your feet would touch the ground because as you are upside down you slash at the enemy's feet. You do two cartwheels essentially to strike the enemy with your heel as you land. Tiger's Fury - Pounce Rank: C Description: Same as above but you only preform one cart wheel and upon landing you keep a crouched position and stab into the enemy's chest. Tiger's Fury - Silence Rank: C Description: Again you only preform one cartwheel and upon landing stand straight up holding the sword over your head pointing downwards.

Nodding her head in agreement, Jocelyn did not say a word to her teacher..she waned to put as much concentration into these next attacks as possible.
This time though, she decided to get some standing training dummies.
Taking her sword in hand she began..thinking of a way on how she would possibly do the moves. She first started with the first cartwheel , as she was upside down she slashed at the dummies feet..cutting a rough slash in where the legs would be. (1/2)
Not what it was supposed to be. She stood back up on her two feet and went at it again, doing the cartwheel cutting at there feet and then doing a second cartwheel she came back around and slammed her heel into the dummy. Successfully pulling off the first move.(2/2)
Learned: Tiger's Fury (C)
She cracked her neck and knuckles as she prepared for the next move, these techniques put somewhat of a strain on her body, but she didint mind that much. She started off with the first cart wheel, positioning the Jian in her hand for when she landed.(1/1)
As she landed she kept a crouched position like feather has shown her and delivered a stab right into the enemies chest. Stabbing directly into the chest about an inch away from the heart.(2/2)
Learned: Tiger's Fury-Pounce (C)
By the time she got to the third move she showed her in these stances, she felt as if her head was going to fall off her shoulders, her head was pounding as blood rushed through. She would not let this stop her, as she went at it again, going for the one cartwheel and simultaneously moving her sword in a position to land the attack.(1/2)
As she came fully across she stood straight up and held the sword above her head..stabbing down with full force, the blade bit through the dummy and out its groin area. (2/2)
Learned: Tiger's Fury-Silence (C)
She blew out a heavy breath as sweat finally began to coat her brow...she was starting to get a good workout.

After finishing that batch of moves, she continue on with the other ones. Going non stop, Jocelyn is doing a good job of catching up in this hard work.
((2 post each)) Crescent Gust - Gale Rank: C Description: You preform the first quick slash and you do face away. Once you face away twist your upper body to spin and stab the enemy as you crouch. Your back will still face the enemy here. Coiling Serpent Rank: C Description: Fairly strong yet quick set of slashes mainly to injure the enemy. You slash downward at the enemy and then spin the sword quickly with your hand. As the sword's spin ends spin your body to deepening the cut and slash downward again. Coiling Serpent - Srike Rank: C Description: Same movement as above but instead of slashing downward as you spin you prepare to stab the enemy's throat. Down Gust Rank: C Description: A quick two slash attack that ironically is supposed to send the enemy into the air. You preform a quick slash downward and let your body flow with this slash eventually leading you to crouch. As your rise up you slash upward to send the enemy into the air. Down Gust - Silence Rank: C Description: You only preform the quick downward slash. Once again you rise up holding the sword pointing downward but your hand is only barely above your head. Heavy Breeze Rank: C Description: You first slash at their midsection quickly. Allow yourself to spin but halfway through the spin jump up and let the rest of the spin end in the air. As you land swing the sword downward onto the enemy.

She smiled at her teacher, she was doing this all without flaw..a beauty who swung the sword with ultimate precision. She admired her teacher..wishing that one day she would become just like her.
Grabbing ahold of her sword, she winced for a second..she didint look, but she felt a blister forming on her prominent sword hand. Taking stance, she looked to the dummy and made a quick slash getting ready to do the follow up. (1/2) Stepping back, she slashed again, this time faster but as she did so she faced away and twisted her upper body, spinning and then stabbing he enemy as she crouched, he back was still facing the enemy.(2/2)
Learned: Crescent Gust-Gale
Taking a few deep breaths, she readied herself once more..She made quick slashes at her enemy, the dummy and watched as it slowly began to tear up, she would have to get another dummy after this.(1/2)
Slashing downward, she spun the sword, seeing how this could play out in her mind, as she then spun her body using the momentum to deepen the cut and slash downwards once more.(2/2)
Learned:Coiling Serpent
The dummy was looking a real mess, stuffing was falling out of multiple wounds in its abdomen area, places where she could imagine the blood..she shook for a second, not at the thought but at the fact it didint bother her. She continued the fast slashes as before, getting faster and faster..her teeth clenched in readiness.(1/2)
Instead of going for the downward slash this time, she followed her teachers movements and spun, striking her blade arm out in a full out stab, cutting into the neck of the dummy and out the other end, swiping it to the right the head plopped off.(2/2)
Learned: Coiling Serpent-Strike
She brought her opposite arm to her side, breathing heavily..she cracked her neck and went to get another dummy..kicking the other in a heap of broken ones.
She set it up, and brought her memories back to what her teacher was showing her. The move that sent the person into the air, she was not sure how this would happen, but she would try..running foreword she made two quick slashes, both going side to side, and then downward(1/2)
As she put herself into a crouch, she slashed upwards and saw as the dummy when to hit the ceiling, bouncing back down moments later.(2/2)
Learned: Down Gust
Repeating what she did before, she only made the downward slash, the dummy hitting the ground with an audible thump. (1/2)
As she rose up, her hands where barely above her head, the hilt of the sword was basically at her face. She stabbed downward, about an inch of the tip imbedded into the ground.(2/2)
Learned: Down Gust-Silence
Grabbing the training dummy by its shoulder, she hauled it back up to standing position.Getting her sword out from the ground, she went instantly into the next and last technique Feather showed her for the moment. Slashing at the dummys midsection without much of a thought, getting her momentum going she spun(1/2)
Halfway through the spin she jumped up, her breath catching as she was about to preform the final blow. the spin ended, and gravity did the rest..her weight behind her she swung the sword in a shocking speed and cleaved the body from shoulder to groin..(2/2)
Learned: Heavy Breeze
Landing on all fours, she looked up to her teacher..her breathing was heavy, and sweat was dripping all over her shirt from her face.
"Thank you" she said to feather a little breathlessly. She stood up, and stretched out..carefully not letting her muscles bunch up.

"Don't thank me yet. We're not done with your training yet." She replied back to her. Seam like Jocelyn is really determine of learning these moves. She's using a lot of her stamina that Feather is forcing her to use up. She just has to hold herself up a bit longer, because once after these other moves, they can take a brake. Just three more she shown to Jocelyn, and Feather would think it would be a time to rest.
((2 post each)) Phoenix Lunge Rank: C Description: A combination of speed and surprise this is usually favored by the ninja. You crouch down away from the enemy. You jump towards the enemy while spinning and twirl your sword to distract them. As you land kick their own feet and then you stab into the enemy as they get tripped. Flower Petals Rank: C Description: You slash at the enemy's feet and spin so that you get to slash at the enemy's head after the spin. The slash to the head is diagonal downwards. Why? Because after this you twist your arm and stab them in the chest. Flower Petals - silence Rank: C Description: You stop at the slash to the head and assume the position described in all of the other skills with the "- silence" attachment icon_xd.gif

She smiled, and nodded reluctantly at her teachers words. She needed to be pushed, and pushed hard.
Gripping the sword in her sore hand, she got back into fighting stance, the dummy fresh and standing before her. Crouching away from the enemy, she then jumped foreword, spinning as she did so. Her sword twirled, going so fast the air whistled as the steal cut through the air.(1/2)
It was meant for a distraction first and foremost. As she landed, she lashed her foot out, tripping the dummy and bringing the sword foreword..stabbing the thing through the chest..a fatal blow if it where real.(2/2)
Breathing becoming heavy, she jumped right into the next move..slashing at the dummy now standing feet, she spun.(1/2)
Slashing downwards diagonally, she twisted her arm..feeling the muscles stress for a second before she stabbed the thing in the chest.(2/2)
Getting down to the ground, she spun and slashed at the dummies feet again. after that instead of going back up for the head shot she preformed the silent move and struck down with the tip of the sword. (1/2)
After she stabbed the dummy in the chest, she followed up her move and twisted her arm once more..stabbing it directly where the heart would be.(2/2)
Breathing heavily, she put her sword back in its scabbard and placed it against the wall. Hands on her hips, she leaned back and cracked her back..stretching so her muscles would not tense up and cause her immense pain. After she was satisfied she wiped her brow, and looked at her teacher to speak.

"Very good, Miss Galdings. You deserve a brake now." Feather scythed her blade also than sat down on the floor where she stood. "Wile we rest, I would like you to look up through the 'fighting styles' choose which one you like best... Often you would need to fight people with the use of your free hand in close comeback." Feather pull out of scroll with with all the fighting styles on it and toss it over to Jocelyn. "Choose wisely though, as a sword fighter you can only use one style." Feather warned her.

Taking a deep breath she thought about what her teacher had to say, "Mam' If I may, I would like to hold off until a later time on my hand to hand training. I know that training as a swordmaster limits me on close combat..especially if I lose any number of my weapons..." She took a moment of silence before speaking again. "But..thats why I also want to become a master of the element of fire..and why I have these." She said holding up both her forearms to show both hidden twin daggers. "I would like to just wait and sit on the thought of a hand to hand style..if you dont mind." She said carefully, awaiting her reply.
