She felt her ki well up enough that she could fire another shot without fear. she grinned as she brought her hand to her face, and effortlessly condenced her ki into the desired sphere. she scanned the landscape, searching for an appropriate tree to murder, and found one. she took careful aim, brought her left hand up past her right temple whilst clutching the ki sphere, and prepared to let loose with all she had.

once more she backhanded the intangible philistine as she crushed her ki sphere. it once more broke off into three shards and watched them sail off to destroy her foliage foe. the shards streaked across the distance towards the tree that had no reason to suspect that this was it's last day in this mortal coil. the left shard hit first, landing in a left-off-center to the trunk, and stuck there, a sizeable crater was left in the trunk. the right shard hit second, hitting right-off-center to the trunk, and stayed there as well. there was now a decent sized crater in the trunk of this tree, and blue sap had begun seeping from cracks in the trunk. the last to hit was the center, whick landed perfectly between the two fragments, making the complete sphere once more. the sphere stuck there for a second, before exploding while still attatched to the tree. the weakened structural integrity caused the tree to become cut in half, as if by the blunt end of an axe. blue sap and splinters splattered everywhere as the substance part of the tree fell to the unforgiving soil.
Selena laughed with glee as she readied another ball to fire at yet another unsuspecting sap(pun intended). her left hand was already grasping another all important ki sphere, her palms sweating with excitement. she felt as giddy as a schoolgirl as she raised her left hand beyond her right temple once more. she scanned the landscape for a suitable tree, and found it. she took aim with care, and let loose.

Selena backhanded the empty air once more, and crushed her ki ball. now where normally it did the ABNORMAL approach and became the desired homing technique, this time it did the NORMAL thing, and shattered into millions of un-useable pieces. she stared at the lack of anything happen for a good minute, baffled that such a thing COULD happen. the then calmly proceeded to power up, for she needed the ki for continued attempts.

Selena felt her ki fit into the standard maximum, and stopped immediately. she had already summoned forth the ki ball, and was grasping it in her left hand as usual. she tossed it into the air a couple times, looking at the tree that had escaped her wrath. Selena had a wierd grin on her face, the same grin of disbelief she had before. she pulled the ki ball in her left hand past her right temple once more. she aimed carefully at her target. she would not be so eager this time. she thought out every movement, and prepared her ki. she would not let this continue.

Selena brought her left hand across her body, and began crushing the ki ball. this time, however, she did no mover her wrist at all, for she knew that this ki ball was inadequate.she immediately began work on the new ki ball, not being visibly deterred by this offense. her tail was staying still for the most part, moving only ocassionaly. she had a determination in her eyes that would make any Greek hero you could think of look like an indecisive p***y. her ki solidified as she brought her left hand beyond her right temple once more. all the while Selena never stopped repeating this singular line in her mind: 'My son needs this.'

Selena felt her mantra take a life of its own as she felt her ki pulse stronger than it ever had before. as she brought her hand across her body in her usual motion, she saw her ki glowing golden as she was slowly crushing it. she looked at the tree a split second before she broke the golden sphere, and smiled. she crushed it with all her vigor, and two golden halves streaked across the sky. they flew faster and harder than any attempt before. the first half to hit was the left half, hitting dead center of the tree trunk, and looped around. the crater left in the trunk was soccer-ball sized, and the impact itself sent splinters and blue sap flying from the wound. the tree was rapidly oozing sap through broken ventricles, trying in vain to seal up the damage. that's when the right half hit. it hit the same spot the left hemisphere hit, and harder still. it nearly broke through the tree, leaving a large spot behind the tree bowed out and cracked like a karate student's failed attempt to break cleanly through a board. the right half circled around, and met up with the left half. they twisted together, and the crack down the middle fused, and appeared as if it had never even been there. it flew at high velocity at the same spot on the dying tree. it hit, and at the first sign of resistance, it flared with a white aura with blue and yellow stripes throughout, and exploded in a concussive shock wave. this blew all that existed of the tree into wood pulp. the roots, the branches, the unscathed trunk; all destroyed. Selena had watched in awe as these occurrences happened in the span of seconds. she looked at her glowing hand, and wondered what power she truly possessed. Once she stopped being in awe of the destruction she had wrought, she manifested a new ki ball. this motion was second nature to her. she brought the ki ball back past her right temple, searching for her next veggie victim. she repeated her mantra once more, in the hopes it would keep her on track, and bring her luck.

After the sucess of the previous shot, Selena expected more of herself. she didn't even start the technique before she knew something was off. her ki didn't seem adequate enough to even leave her hand. she crushed it before she even moved her hand an inch. she began anew, manifesting her ki once more into the ki ball that was essential for this technique. she focused her thoughts and soul into hardening this ki ball, preparing it for the flight it would be faced with. she brought her left hand beyond her right temple, repeating her mantra in her head over and over. never letting go of the solid fact that she needed to perfect this technique to continue her usefulness in not only the tenkuu no houou, but also to protect her son.

It was so CLOSE, she could feel it almost achieve what she needed it to do. the fact remained that she couldn't get it to where she needed it to be...and this began to make her angry. she was depleting herself about as much as she did the last time, with less results. she needed some sucsessful attempts, or else she would have to recover in the bacta tanks again, and that would only serve to piss her off. nothing should take so long that it takes two sessions of ki healing for.she formed her ki ball once more, and focused all her effort into it. she would not be denied anymore. as she pulled it behind her right temple, she kept on repeating her mantra. she needed more sucesses at this technique than she had.

Selena didn't even HAVE to crush it. once she put any pressure on it, it melted out of her hands.she was getting angry now. this shouldn't be happening. she shouldn't have to go through THIS MUCH torment all over ONE technique. she wanted it to be done so she could help Lite in his own training, but this took priority. she powered up, using the last of her reserves to give herself a final few chances at this.

Selena bought herself some time. she pooled ki into her left hand, grabbing at that not so elusive ball, and solidified her ki. she brought the glowing ki ball back beyond her right ear. she was getting tired of this, and needed to finish it. she scanned the landscape for a suitable tree, and found it. she took steady aim, and preapared her ki for the journey of tree slaughter it would take. "Come on. Lite needs me to get this done!"

Selena couldn't stand this embarassment. there was no rime or reason to this failure. all she could do was stay the course. she called her ki to action, refusing to give up. she forced her ki to do what she wanted it to do, refusing to let it destroy her progress. she felt her ki pool in her left hand as she forced it into submission. she brought the slave ki ball beyond her right temple, and stared at the tree she had made her target. she would not allow the insolence of life to remain any longer. she prepared to fire, her pure, unbridled will fueling her actions.

Rage. all that encompassed her being, all that she could fathom into emotion, all that existed to her besides her and that tree, was Rage. she crushed her ki ball in front of her, drawing blood with the force at which she crushed her failure. such weakness was to be ex-sponged. She flashed a ki ball into her hand, for through the power of her fury, such things were easy to achieve.she only had one more chance at this, and she would not let this string of inadequacies get in her way of glory. she brought the dimmed ki ball past her right temple, her eyes enveloped in fury and hatred, and white froth coming from her mouth. she was not about to give up now.

Selena brought her arm across her body, faster than she ever had before, and effortlessly crushed the ki ball in half. these two dejected looking pieces flew off towards their destination as fast as they could, if anything to get away the fury of Selena. the left hemisphere struck first, flying around to the left side of the trunk, causing an unhealthy dent in it, the half circling back after doing it's damage. the right hit next, doing the same damage to the right side. the right half looped around as the left had, and once they met up, they flew apart from each other, and hit their opposite sides (left hitting right dent, and vice versa.) they hit with such force, that they blew a hole for them to meet up inside the tree. they fused together in the blue sap bleeding tree, and upon fusing, released it's concussive explosion, cutting the offensive tree in half.
Now that Selena had reached the last success she was getting out of that traini9ng session, she walked away from the wreckage of trees she had caused. she ran all the way back to the bacta tanks in the wreckage of Alice, and speed stripped once she was in the ruins of the med bay. she now wore nothing but her skin tight white saiyan armor under-suit, and entered the bacta tank.

Selena. Kp: 76 mKp: 63 Selena 'Woke up' in a room not of her devising. it was pure black, and had a throne at the far end of it. it was made from pure obsidian, and on it, sat Tora. he wore white jeans, and white Velcro sneakers. he wore a black undershirt, with a white leather jacket. the leather jacket was an inverse of Selena's, it being all white, save a cone of black starting halfway down the ulna, and widening as it gets closer to the cuff. on the back of the jacket, was the Norse symbol Hagall (trouble, misfortune) ( http://dionaea.com/fun/future/r9.gif ) emblazoned in Black.his face was gashed wide open from his left eyebrow to the bottom edge of his right lower jaw, and it was actively running down his face. he had hair as white as snow, and it was short, looking almost as if it had been forcibly shortened by ripping the hair off his head. His eyes were blood red, and his teeth were sharp as nails.though he was a saiyan, he had no tail. this is presumably from when he ripped off Rota's tail when he possessed him for the first time. he also wore white leather fingerless gloves. he sat upon his throne of suffering, him being the only known Wraith of suffering. he was sitting cross-legged, with left leg crossed over his right, as he leaned on the left arm of his throne. his elbow was pressed into the arm of the chair, his forearm at roughly a 90 degree angle, his left cheek pressing against the fingers of his hand, which were balled up into a fist. Tora looked out at Selena, observing him on his throne of glory. he took it in for a moment, and then decided to speak. he adjusted his head a bit, just enough so that he could look directly at Selena. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. she couldn't measure up to her own standards, and so she comes looking for someone to blame for it." he smiled a bit halfway through his final sentence. he DID so enjoy the suffering of others. "Now I would like to take the credit for ruining you luck, but I am not one to plagiarize. I've been too busy making this excellent throne." he stroked the right arm of the throne as he talked about it, clearly proud of his work.
