Tory nodded, "I think I saw some deer over to the north, would you like to try there?" She reached once again into the bag and brought out a small whistle. "Blow this if you run into any trouble and I'll be there." Then she took off into the forest, the now strung bow and her quiver on her back.

"Unless this artifact is just down a few trees, don't you think we should at least get something to eat,"River asks Equenox while his stomach growls in longing. Just because he was raised on the streets didn't mean he didn't get to eat when he wanted...
The wolf turns to him as if thinking on the matter and then sniffs the air. With no further response, he sprints into the forest.
River piqued with interest takes after him with his weapons at the ready. Though all he found was the beast on top of a deer tearing off it's flesh and feeding on it happily.
After several moments, Equenox looks up to the River and then the corpse.
Oh, I'm sorry were you hungry?
River's left eye began to twitch as he gripped his weapons.

[FYI, northern part of the woods wink ]

[lol, me too. I have a ball with these characters]

Eye still twitching, River calmly sheathes his weapons and takes his leave for his own search for food while muttering darkly,"of all the stupid animals... I get stuck with the son of a.."
It contines this way as he enters deeper into the forest. Equenox in response throws a nonchalant shrug and continues to eat with no collection of sympathy.

"Why me..,"his muttering finishes as he stoops down next to a brook splashing his face with water to cool himself down.
I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to deal with this, he thought tiredly.

Upon hearing footsteps in his general direction, River hid himself among the thick brush that grew along the stream. A girl had made an appearance with a slain deer upon her shoulder.
A hunter eh? he thinks to himself with a smirk, well that just means less work for me.
He releases himself from the cover of the brush, his hands on his weapons ready to strike.

Jaymie was laying by the edge of a Lake resting will Scylla took a little swin. He had his eyes closed and felt something licking his face. He looked and it was a little puppy. He chuckled and said, "hey little guy. what are you doing out here?" he asked and the puppy barked and wagged his tail. He smiled and petted its head then watched it scamper off. Then Scylla came out of the water and was laughing. "I see you made a new friend." she said sitting down beside him. He shook his head and said, "nah, he was just curious about me then ran off." He sat up and looked around. "so where are these others you told me about?" he asked curiously.

Rosh watched the girls as they left. After a short time, Rosh stood up deciding to lose himself in the forest. He started to walk along, getting lost in the void where most of his mind and soul should be. It made him look as if we were in a trance, somewhat like a zombie. after awhile, Rosh stopped moving and came back to reality. In front of him, was a man with blood red hair partially veiled in the shadows. Rosh looked at Agoe, looking for guidance. Do you think he's friendly? Rosh Asked.

Agoge shook his head grimly. absolutely not. Thats Nakao; a fire spirit that I have longed feared. He told Rosh.


Rosh gripped one of his blades stairing at Nakao."May I help you?"

Nakao stepped out of the shadows, revealing blood red eyes."Nothing much. Im just sick of seeing a fake demon like you walking about." Nakao responded coldy. He took a deep breath, then spewed out fire like a dragon.

Rosh acted quickly stepping out of the way, but was nicked by a portion of the blaze. He was able to put it out with his hand, but the fire was beginning to spread at a staggering rate. Rosh drew one of his katana's, and charged towards Nakao.


Agoge flew off his shoulder hovering in mid air. NO you fool! Don't challenge him!

It was to late for Rosh to turn back. He swung his blade above Nakao, which he caught with one of his hands with little effort. Using his free hand, Nakao jabbed Rosh in the stomach then pushed him onto the ground."If you know whats smart, you would just stay there and die, fake demon." Nakao told him as he left Rosh.


Rosh coughed up blood, unable to stand once more. He felt no pain, but the damage dealt had made it mark. All around him, the fire was raged on with no regards to life around it. Moments later, Rosh passed out, drifting back into the Void, perhaps for the last time. Agoge cawed loudly calling for help, not able to even make out words.

"What the...,"River manages to speak while spiting out water. His eyes became wide in astonishment, but then turned into slits as his mood blackened. Up on his feet, he again prepares himself for another attack.
I wouldn't do that if I were you.
Whirling around, River found none other than Equenox himself perched upon a rock in the distance. Nonchalantly, the wolf makes his way over to a clearing leaving him a better view of the two before him.
He looks to the girl and speaks for her to hear as well as his 'companion', now you may kill him.
River looks to the animal in pure disbelief.
What? Equenox looks to him innocently. I just wanted a better view.
