The Reindeer Stood, grazing their day's fill and nursing their young. amaia snuck out beside kiron, who was excited and wriggly. She Muttered a low "Uff" To Him To Tell him in cultural wolf tongue that The deer Were Unaware and they could jump in for the kill. She Had tracked them a little ways from camp and it was getting darker. She Notched an arrow and aimed at a buck who was prowling amongst pre-ripened junipers. She Let The arrow fly and watched it thud into his neck, The Rest of the Deer scattered as she hopped out to gather the prey.

Kiron watched as her arrow fly into the buck's neck. This was his cue, he leapt out from their hiding spot and easily brought the buck down. He looked at the buck and sticking the buck's head in his mouth, he jerked hard, snapping the buck's neck. He then looked at Amaia and wagged his tail.
Kida sighed as she started to figure out the blasted thing. "You ride Kiron from now on alright? I can run and keep up with him better than you can."

Logan looked down. "If that is what you'd prefer. " He saw her having trouble, and slowly stood up, walking to her, as he moved to help.

"Good Boy!" She Said To Him and Licked his Muzzle. She Scratched his ear, "Huh, This Buck Sure Is Big!" She Looked to Him "Can You Handle it?" She Grinned. "What about with Me Riding you?" She challenged.

Kiron nodded and grabbed the buck and slung it over his shoulders. "You will need to keep it from falling so, yes I think I can handle it." He had been surprised by the lick but just figured it was her being nice.
Kida smiled faintly. "You like complicated things don't you...it is better to sleep under the stars."

Logan tilted his head. "But it is safer, warmer, and more comfortable in a tent." He said as he finished setting it up.

Kida shook her head slowly with a laugh. "To a civilized person maybe but you have never run through the forests at night. Should I explain it to you?" She sat down as the tent was finished being set up.

She sighed as her eyes became misty. "You see there's nothing quite like it, running through the trees; the soft earth and fallen leaves squishing beneath your feet." She closed her eyes as if trying to recall the little nuances of everything. "The scents of juniper and pine, of animals, of the soil. The wind blowing back your hair as the darkness envelopes you. The starry night and moon providing the only light needed to see." She opened her eyes again and looked at him. "It's very magical."

Logan thought about this. "Very, transcendental and artistic. I see you truly love the natural world." He looked to her, his eyes bright.

She smiled, almost sheepishly, as she chuckled. "I don't know about artistic but it's what I can see and smell when I run through the forests, as a human or wolf. Nature is a part of me as I am a part of it."

Logan nodded. "The natural world is an often undervalued thing to humans, seeing it as merely something to conquer."
