The movie went on nicely enough, at least in Steve's opinion. Though... sitting in place for over an hour in a full leather outfit was definitely not a very comfortable thing to do. Thinking of where they could eat, he also had to keep his budget in mind. A part of him felt bad about his piss poor gift already, so something that wasn't a completely cheap option would be nice.

b. Chinese Takeout.
Ironically, Steve loved picking apart movies, finding flaws and indiscrepancies, so despite the mind-numbingly sexy beautiful girl beside him, there wasn't much awkwardness between them throughout the entire movies. In fact, he even laughed -- something that surprised even him. And worried him a little, too...
He was actually starting to enjoy himself.
Which was bad. She was the enemy. And he liked Lilith.
Hells bells.
Still, he pushed it out of his mind, even as they left the movie theatre and started down the street, their shoulders much closer than when they had walked to the theatre itself. It was only then that there was silence -- without the movie to laugh at, they had both fallen quiet, the only sound being the sounds of the occasional car screaming past them and Lust's boots clicking against the concrete. Of course, it was she who broke the silence, causing him to swivel his head in her direction, blinking for a second before tilting his head back, thinking about it.
"There's a chinese takeout place about a block down -- they make a mean Lo Brain..."

"Cutie," Steve whispered into Lust's ear, "I know this great Italian place near here. They know me. Free food for us, and as much as we can eat. Oh, and a tip: spagettii has several intimate applications."
(Inwardly, despite his calm and Casanova-esque face, Steve was gagging in terror and disgust over what he was doing.)

STAGE SEVEN: FOOTING THE BILL They polished off the last of their food, Steve absolutely certain that Lust had been kicking him under the table but uncomfortable acknowledging it. At this point, it seemed clear that the date was going well, to his….well, to his shock. He wasn't exactly known for being the most suave creature out there, and he hadn't managed any particularly brilliant conversation, instead commenting on her shoes and then lapsing into dumb silence. They were both sitting and staring across the table, Lust's eyes lit with amusement, when the check was set down between them. How does the payment go down? a. Pay it before she even sees the total. b. Turn out your empty pockets. c. Offer to split it 50/50. d. Work out to the nearest cent how much each of you owe. e. Grab her hand, dine and dash! As soon as the check hit the table Steve lunged for it grabbing it up in a display of hate and over eagerness that one would normally only find in a puppy.
"I've got it..." He quickly muttered and then proceeded to pay unwilling to let her see the bill. What would he do if she offered to pitch in, he couldn't just start arguing with her and ruin the whole night. Besides if he didn't fork over his money she'd probably tell Lilith he was a cheapskate or something.

Steve grabbed the check immediately and slid his cash inside. Lust would only be able to get a peek if she was trying to look, and who knew? Maybe she wanted to know how much he was paying for her raw beef pixxa. Man, that was like four weeks' tips...

Withouth much money, he quickly grabbed her hand the minute the waiter turned his back and rushed away the back door. Steve didn't intend to pay. This date was already to pricey. So, goodbye, and good bye. He knew he wouldn't be allowed back, but, why would he go back? It tasted horrible anyway.

When the check appeared, Steve quickly snatched it up. He couldn't show a lady the bill! He cleared his throat and handed the cash back to the waiter before she could see the total. There, now he felt better about this whole thing! Standing up, he offered his arm again to her. "I hope the dinner was good! I knew the spookshakes would hit the spot!"
