Kiora pulled her arrow from the buck, tossing it aside after removing the bladed tip from the ruined shaft. She sighed deeply as she knelt and cut open the deer to remove the innards and leave them for the local wolf pack before lifting the deer and heading back to the cabin with her prize. She would skin the deer there and make herself a new pack. Her old one was finally starting to fall apart.

Kiora jumped in surprise. "Aries, you startled me," she gasped. She hadn't realized that he was awake.

Aries looked at her and walked over to her. He took the deer from her arms and replaced the deer with himself. He wrapped his arms around her as he had the night before. He looked down at her. "You know how you told me you loved me?"

Kiora snuggled into his touch as she nodded. "Yes," she answered softly, looking up at him.

He looked down at her again. He put his hand on her face and leaned down towards her. "I love you too" He said before gently kissing her.

Kiora hesitated for only a second before wrapping her arms around him and returning his kiss. She snuggled against him, her heart lighter than it had been in a long time. "I love you, Aries," she said softly, her eyes shining brightly.

Kiora smiled as she rested her head against him. She was content and happy just to know that he loved her and to be in his arms. She could forget her troubles and the troubles they were going to have when they finally managed to rebuild the kingdom.

Kiora smiled at him lovingly. "While I would love to stand here in your arms," she said. "There is the matter of our dinner laying dead on the floor."

She smiled at him as she went to tend the deer. She took it back outside to skin it. She wanted to make a pack from the hide. She then brought in large portions of the deer so that she could cook it and make jerky for when they traveled.
