You are on the path to rightness! Soon you shall find the truth, and with it, the small amount of added self-esteem that follows.

A few more guesses and I will confirm or deny the relevance of a periodic table in this riddle.

Alright, two hints:

The periodic table will help quite a bit.

The answer can be found in the next to last line.

Well this is certainly a tricky one . . . these next few things will get me nowhere but you never know.

Don't know what the first thing is . . .
Helium . . .
Noble . . . Noble gases?
Neon . . .
Sulfur . . .
airplanes . . . what was that . . . aluminum . . .
Put all together . . . and you get what comes before?
Practice makes perfect . . . I really don't know.

I'm working on it though . . .
PostPosted: Wed Apr 25, 2007 9:54 pm

And I'm back! I think I might know what it is . . . in fact I'm almost positive . . . and soon you're going to tell me I'm wrong. xp

So you said it starts with 'Re' . . .
All the clues in the riddle are elements . . .
Put us all together and you get . . .

A reaction . . .

Right?

Je suis a toi

Guess what...... YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

I'm going to tell you that you're wrong. twisted
But you did try, so I'm sending you away with our fabulous home game.

Alright, first two elements
My first is Rhenium the last naturally occurring element to be discovered; used in Rhenium/Platinum catalysts for gasoline refinement. (Re)
My second is Helium, a noble gas that makes your voice squeak if you inhale it and also fills party balloons (He)

Most people I talk to have the hardest time with Rhenium.

Then it's argon (Ar)
then sulfur (S)
then Aluminum (Al)

I know it now . . .

Rehearsal. Practice makes perfect.

Or is it the performance? Because of the whole 'put us all together, and you get what comes before, practice makes us perfect . . .'

Rehearsal comes before the performance, practice makes the persormance perfect . . . tell me which one is right if either of them are . . .

Je suis a toi

Ohtay, here's a couple I've collected from my friends over time and during class when we're stuck doing nothing. I'm pretty sure they haven't been used before.

1)They have not flesh, nor feathers, nor scales, nor bone. Yet they have fingers and thumbs of their own. What are they?

2)You can find us in darkness but never in light.
We are present in daytime but absent at night.
In the deepest of shadows, We hide in plain sight.
What am I?

3)What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?

4)What goes up and down the stairs without moving?

5)I have holes in my top and bottom, my left and right, and in the middle. But I still hold water. What am I?

6)A certain crime is punishable if attempted but not punishable if committed. What is it?

7)You use a knife to slice my head and weep beside me when I am dead. What am I?

Alright . . . I hope that wasn't too many at one time.
