Ally pulled her self out of the pool like a cat pulling out of the bathtub. When she she was safe he smiled a little at the Doctor while laying there all worn out. "So you really do care"

"OF COURSE I CARE!" he said indignantly, "Whoever said I didn't?! I'm too old for you to be giving me these kinds of frights!"
He turned to look at her and immediately realized what a bad idea that was. She was laying on the ground completely soaked and more than half-naked. He coughed and looked away. It wasn't as if he'd never seen a female body before, however Ally's nearly-naked body was a little too much even for an old Time Lord.

She laughed slightly then crawled over to the dressing room. Where she got changed and came out in a cute yellow dress. This time being more covered up. She sat next to The doctor with her knees held up with her arms. "so what now?" she said whle smiling at him.

The Doctor breathed a sigh of relief at Ally's change in attire.
"Now we wait until my blood pressure stabilizes and we can do whatever you want," he said with a crooked smile.

Ally looked at him with a raised eyebrow. Then grinned. "Did I make you all warm inside?"

The Doctor coughed and ran his hand through his hair in an attempt to hide his embarrassment.
"I don't know what you're talking about... I'm going... to go to the console room now," he said never once meeting her gaze. "Yeah..."
He stood and practically ran away from Ally.

Ally grinned and buried her face into her knees. She wasent quite sure what this ment but she could tell that this was leading to something. Ally stood up after he had ran away and explored the TARDIS some more. She found some books that had really interested her. So she gathered those and found a room that looked like the chess room that was life size. She sat down and laid against the queen statue and started to read her books. She looked tiny compared to the statues of the chess pieces. And the floor was black and white checkered. The wall were a deep forest green with victorian deisgns and the ceiling was wood paneled. It was quite a remarkable room in it's own mad unique way.

The Doctor busied himself under the console calibrating fluctuations and cleaning out filters. Inwardly he appeared the very ideal image of a calm man, inside however, he was troubled. What was he to do with Ally? He couldn't leave her on her own, her loneliness would only make her bitter and hollow. No, he would stay with her until he could find her a more suitable place. A home where she could start a life...
"Ally," he called out over the comlink, "is there anywhere you'd like to go for dinner?"

Ally jumped to her feet. "There's a comlink in here?" she wondered out loud. She thought for a moment. "Something with apples I guess." she said although she really wanted a golden apple that was only grown on Girmix as far as she knew.

"It's a ship, Ally," he said with a smile, "there are various ways of communicating throughout. Apples it is!"
The Doctor knew exactly what she wanted. Aurean Apples, the gold fruit from Girmix once exported to a thousand worlds. It was not a true Aurean unless it was cultivated and grown in Girmix's colder southern archipelagos but seedlings had been transported to off world locations... in fact... he knew just the place where they could go.
Yarnat 4 was a small insignificant planet just far away from it's star for it to be a permanently 52 degrees year round. It was a rustic old ball of dust devoid of any touristic value except one. It was possibly the last place where you could find true golden apples. In the middle of such a grove, the TARDIS materialized.
"We're here, want to take a peek outside?" he called out.

Ally ran up the stairs and jumped up and down excited for dinner. She took a look outside and her eye's widened. "I thought these were all gone" she said as she opened the door wide and slowly while staring out at the golden fields of apples.

The Doctor smiled as he closed the door of his Tardis.
"Oh I'm sure there are a few others left. Aurean apples were quite the delicacy for a while," he grinned as he began sauntering though the grove. "There's a small bread and breakfast here run by a lovely couple. Personally I've never been but I've heard they make the best apple stuffed water fowl in this quadrant. Care to sample some?"

Ally was so excited that she was skipping next to him while letting her hand run across the tree trunks. It was like being home again except for the color of the sky and the grass color. And it was a little warmer. "YES! let's do something adventurous!"
[sorry I haven't been on. During the week I can't get on much but I'll make up for it on the weekends. And I got my own computer just need to set it up. biggrin ]

"Well, I dunno about adventurous," he said slipping his hands in his pockets and walking off towards a small Victorian-styled house, "It's only dinner after all."
He winked at her and motioned towards the house, "Lets go meet our hosts shall we? Allons~y!"
