shadow, on the verge of being grasped by death, drank from the vile, the last thing she saw was the sun above her, she knew she wouldnt have slept well if she had tried so this was a dangerous way of taking a nap, but the sun on her wings and icy heart felt good so she fell into a light sleep in the tree.

he saw her asleep and sighed he wrote a note and pinned it to a blood bag which was nailed above her sleeping head he then looked at her and then did the unthinkable: he kissed ehr on the lips lightly then ran awaynow with just the hope that she would except his apology

shadows eyes fluttered when he kissed her. zack? she thought unsure of where she was, she rolled over and fell with a gasp, her wings getting caught in different branches,spread far apart making it feel as if her wings were being torn, she winced and went to move but felt a agonizing pain in her back, her teeth clashing together to stop her scream. after a whileshe eventually found a way down but still ended up with a few cuts and bruises, she leaned against the trunk of the tree,aching in pain when something caught her eye, she looked at the blood pack and apology and then looked away, ignoring them,no matter how tempting the blood was.

a nearby noise caught the attention of several people "look mommy! look at the funny man being beating!" a little boy said laughing. a crowd had gather all laughing at kori being beaten up by some sort of mucle lifting jock kori however wasnt fightintg back "you punk! you got my shoes dirty!" he said laughing the crowd laughing with him kori was kicked to a man who look like he seriously needed some acne cream "hey get back in there!" he said kicking back into the circle where they where 'fighting' in

shadow though weak and tired got up and walked over, black wings,fangs and now blood red eyes showing as she walked. she made sure to disable every electrical device so that no one could get photos or film. she didnt know who was over here but she she couldnt allow them to fight, when she was at the edge of the group she growled"run before i kill you" she said, her eyes on the muscle man as he towered above everyone else.if he didnt move she was going to have a good feast.

shadow looked at kori and looked back to the guy with a look of utter boredom and non chalance on her face"i've never seen him before, i just like ridding the world of people like you" she said darkly her hands beggining to light up inflames and her fangs becoming more obvious.

ha! right and your going to stop me how?" he said dropping kori like a bug and starting to squash him like one stomping on him so bad his blood was like a flowing river on the ground the crowd laughed on enjoying this amusment

the scent of his blood was madening, she flitted over to the guy and kicked the place where he'd hurt the most"shine!" she yelled before she punched him in the stomach with enough force to shake a building.her hands were shaking and eyes were wide, if she had been human she would probably have looked like a druggie.

the mucle man hurked up blood it smelt disgusting compared to kori's . kori who was uncounsious looked like for once he was dying

shadow winced at the smell of the mans blood putrid she thought to herself as she picked kori up and walked away from the crowd.because he was so close her whole frame seemed to shiver with the effort it took not to bite him. if i bite him i'll kill him...he's already lost too much blood...but it smells so good...no no focus!...he may have betrayed me but that doesnt mean i want him dead... she thought, her eyes winced and teeth clenched as she layed him under a nearby tree, her clothes stained with his blood crap she thought,looking down at herself, knowing there was no way to rid herself of his scent.

he said silently to her "drink....bag from tree.......hwy did you save me../" he said graoning in pain trying to understand why she had saved him then thought to himself '...shes a friend and thats all we ever will be i guess..." he looked at the side walk unwillingly

shadow looked down when he spoke and turned away, as if she hadnt seen him.this is for his own good...he needs to forget about me she thought as she crouched low and pounced as hard as she could so that she could get as far away as she possible could. after about 50 yards she collapsed beside a tree,her hand at her neck as she tried to smother the firey pain in her throught,she was weak and tired and now blood thirsty as she lay against the tree, the scent of his blood still surrounding her becuase of her clothes. i cant take it!it hurts so bad... she thought wincing as her hand tried to smother the flames within her neck,her wings dissappearing.

kori saw her even from the distance she had jumped he started to walked over to her and when he finally got to her he fell down on his knees cut his hand and said "drink it now before i force you to drink....." he said forceing his hand on to her soft lips
