Favorite video game: Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Why: Love the story and art style. It is the one Zelda game that actually gave Link, Zelda, and Ganon some history and personality. Plus, Link speaks!
Favorite video game character: I can't just pick one, so here are my top favorites in no order:
Wind Waker Link (LoZ:TWW)
Linebeck (LoZ: PH)
Professor Hershel Layton (Professor Layton)
Zidane Tribal(FFIX)
Tatto (Popful Mail)
Pit (Kid Icarus)
Why:
-Wind Waker "Toon" Link has the most personality out of all the Links. He is cute, friendly, and brave, but also inexperienced (he tends to do things without thinking, such as rushing after the Helmaroc King and falling off a cliff, and the KoRL described him as "dull-witted") and clumsy. Also, his "COME ON!".
-Linebeck is pretty much the reason Phantom Hourglass is a memorable game. He is one of the first LoZ characters to have a lot of personality and actually go through some development. It's amazing how a character with so much fail can be so epic as well.
-Professor Layton is awesome. He can make machines out of simple everyday items, solve the most difficult problems, and stand on his own in a sword fight while acting the gentleman. He doesn't use violence to solve his problems, going on the defensive when in a fight and immediately stopping when there is no longer the need to keep fighting. Layton has faced great tragedy, but has remained strong, and he is willing to help those in need.
-Zidane Tribal is a fun character, and a breath of fresh air after the likes of Cloud and Squall. I would like to see more optimistic, bouncy characters like Zidane in future video games.
-Tatto is the playable magician in Popful Mail. He has a simple but cute design and, despite his polite manner and somewhat high-pitched voice, can kick butt with those spells of his. I found him the most amusing of the three playable characters, for though he is usually very friendly and well-mannered, he can immediately become condescending and hides his insults through his soft, proper English speech. Unfortunately for him, no one in the game seems to want to take him very seriously. He is my favorite to use in boss fights.
-Pit may be small and cute, but he's escaped Hell, defeated Death (the Grim Reaper baddies), beaten a goddess, slain a demon lord, becomes the captain of Palutena's army, and, depending on how you do in the first game, wins Palutena's heart. Pit is badass!
Favorite system: N64
Why: I owned the most games for it, all of them fun and memorable.
Extra things: I also play World of Warcraft and D&D, though it's hard to play the latter when there is no one to play it with.

Favorite video game: Oh goodness that's a hard one..I'd sit here for hours thinking about that... Right now though, I'd have to say it's the MMORPG World of Warcraft...just because I'm on it the most..
Why: MMORPG's gives you the power to be who you can't be in real life, for instance an all power blood-thirsty warrior who slays his enemies without remourse! Or a stealthy secretive rogue with a personality all it's own. A Holy Priest who is kind and reliable, or a warlock who calls demons from hell to do his biddings. It's fascinating.. I think I'll stop there and spare you all. =]
Favorite video game character: Duke...Nukem.
Why: Because he's a hardcore alien killer! Plus, I love all of his interesting sayings. =]
Favorite system: PC, though I'm going to try to get back into my Xbox.
Why: I'm just on it more than anything else, I don't really have a reason..
Extra things: I'm a girl gamer! It's legit. Girl power! =P

Favorite video game: God! You have to make me pick? I pick Tales of Symphonia.
Why:
-Tales of Symphonia: a game for the GC that came out in 2003. The first ever RPG that I ever played. It was my sister's game at first, but then I took it over and loved it. It is still my top favorite game, it wasn't too hard, but it wasn't easy either.
Not to mention it had my favorite class, the Mage, which falls under my favorite characters. I also liked that with some enemies you were able to see their weaknesses with certain items in your bag. Not to mention I played this game about 15 times. Seriously.
Favorite video game character: You have to make me pick? I'm very indecisive! I'll put the top 4.
Pip of Luminous Arc 2 for the DS.
Alf of Arc Rise Fantasia for the Nintendo Wii.
Atsuro of Devil Survivor for the DS.
Genis Sage of Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube.
Why:
Pip: He's just a little cutie with that chef hat! He's also the easiest to level up. And that impractical British accent he has. He also has either the highest or second highest HP out of the whole party and has a fair amount of defense, thus making him an ideal character that would be last on the field. Not to mention he's the healer.
Alf: Oh goodness. He is my ideal eye-candy. Just all. -dies-. Also, he's a good guy at first, and the twist that shows that he has gone down to be one of the main antagonists is absolutely amazing. I got mad since I had him in my party up until that part. Not to mention all the times you have to fight him, he is very difficult to defeat, but luckily, so far, you haven't had t defeat him. I trained him well. His attacks and special attacks are actually my cup of tea. They were beautiful, and 'artistic' if I may say, and strong. Oh, and did I mention he's my perfect eye candy? I always played as him until the point he left the party.
Atsuro: Oh gosh. He's not a perfect eye candy, but he's a geek more or less in the game, knowing how to fix all the electronics in the current pre-apocalypse situation. I like how he also changed so much from the beginning of the game. He seemed so confident that they'll escape the Tokyo under lockdown but more towards the end he begins to be afraid that they'll never get out. More reasons than one. Not to Mention Atsuro's HP was very high, so he would either be the last one on the field, or the last one to die. There were a few times where that was not the case though.
Genis Sage: In every game I've played, I've always loved the magic user class, though, since then, I've changed. Genis was a pure mage, and wasn't too complicated. I was never too worried about being killed, because he was always in the back of the party. Like Alf, I always played as him whenever I had the chance. Whenever the battle was difficult, I would just stick some charms that raised TP (points to use skills or magic spells), or that raised defense. And if that didn't work, I would spam battles until he learned a stronger spell or leveled up.
Favorite system: Nintendo Wii
Why: It's the only system I actually play regularly. Sorry, I don't have a thought out reason for this.

About the games:
The games Arc Rise Fantasia, Devil Survivor, and Luminous Arc 2 are games that I haven't beaten yet and are extremely hard if you don't know what you're doing. This mostly applies to Arc Rise Fantasia. I've been stuck at a certain boss for about 5 weeks now because he keeps geting 'Attack Power Raises' by his minions (that I always fail to kill) and then one hit k.o's my party. It's a little frustrating, but it is fun as well. Arc Rise Fantasia was easy at first, but as you began to progress, things gradually became harder. Oh. And did I mention that in this game, grinding and spamming monsters doesn't really help?
All games mentioned above besides Tales of Symphonia are Turn based, which is probably why I find them hard but fun.

Favorite video game: Tales of the Abyss
Why: Because I played it and it has been much loved since then. To me, it was an amazing game. I'd previously been very clear that my favorite Tales title (and video game) was Tales of Symphonia, but Abyss was better, in my opinion.
Favorite video game character: Sync the Tempest from Tales of the Abyss. Go figure. But Judith from Tales of Vesperia is a very close second.
Why: Sync... is a fourteen-year-old that kicks your party around like they're a bunch of rag dolls. What's not to like? Not to mention there's the fact that he's oddly sadistic... Again, what's not to like?
And Judith? For the third time, what's not to like? She's gorgeous and her personality's amazing. Mature, flirty, witty... It would be hard to not like her, if you ask me. Not to mention, she fights with a spear-- you don't get to see that very much anymore, from my experience.
Favorite system: Playstation 2. Go figure. xD
Why: Well, the Playstation 2 just completely mauls all the other systems. Not the best in terms of graphics, obviously, but it has a... most impressive library of games, to say the least. There's just too many good games for it, in my opinion.
Extra things: I like to write and I'm terrible about starting games and never finishing them if they aren't something I was jumping up and down to get my hands down. I'm not a big fan of FPS games, either. Love RPGs, though, obviously. And I ramble! Haha.
