"Auntie Feng and Uncle Ryu look alike, but they're twins," Miyuki replied.
This wasn't surprising as with the exception of Yue and Yukito, the twins always looked like lot like each other since they were related.

"What about Storm and Starr?" Daeron asked. "Or- well, I would say others, but you probably haven't seen them side by side." He laughed. "Everyone's getting married and moving off these days!"
Earendil chuckled. "Well, I'm sure if we go back to Amon Darthir and she goes to see her friends again, they'll have siblings she can compare them to."
He headed over to sit on the bed in one corner of the room and leaned against the wall.
Daeron chuckled. "Sure, sure. So Lin, how have you been?"

"I've been doing fine thanks. I mean, we're always on the go, but I enjoy that."
It was true, Lin's life had gotten busy with Miyuki and always traveling, but if she was honest with herself, she wouldn't have it any other way.
Miyuki, mean while explored the room, just like she had when she was a baby, but this time she was more aware of her surroundings.

Daeron smiled warmly. "I kind of miss that," he said wistfully. "It's been a long time. Not that there's much to keep me here anymore ... though I have to admit, I've gotten a bit fond of this room."
He chuckled. It was a small room, sure, but it was after all his home now.

"You could come with us," Miyuki pipped up from where she was standing, rocking back and forth on her heels.
Lin chuckled at this, Miyuki though did have a point, if there was nothing to keep Daeron here, he could always come with them.
"She has a point."

"Now that's an idea," Daeron grinned. "If no one else minds."
Earendil laughed. "Are you kidding? We haven't spent any decent quality time together since I was a kid.Why would I mind?"

"And the more the merrier, we're already having a good sized group coming," Lin replied, "It'll be nice for all of us."
She thought it would be fun anyways, from what little she remembered of Daeron.

"Good," Daeron grinned. "It'll be nice to travel with sane people for once."
"Glad to hear that," Earendil smirked. "Halmir and Arthael are going to be joining us as well."
Daeron opened his mouth to speak, then blinked at Earendi. His mouth opened and closed soundlessly, much like a fish gasping for air on dry ground.
Earendil laughed. "You were saying?"

Lin just burst out laughing the look on Daeron's face was just priceless.
"You kind of walked into that one," she told him after she was done with her laugh, "Between all of us, there is nothing completely sane about this."
Honestly, he was going to travel with two nekos, a half human, a sky elf, a nine year old kitsune, his brother and her, on top of Halmir and Arthael, there was nothing sane about this.

"But - but it's Halmir!" Daeron blurted finally. "I mean, for the rest it's all relatively sane, but - but Halmir? How did that happen?"
Arthael was one thing, she was sane - one of the sanest people he knew in fact - but put Halmir into the mix ...
"At least Arthael will be with him," he added weakly. "She's usually pretty good at keeping him sane."

"Oh come on...." Lin giggled at Daeron, "He's not that bad, at least not as bad as he use to be. At any rate, it was suggested because of course Luk is coming with us, but considering how long it's been since Luk and Arthael have been together, the time they have right now isn't enough. Since Haven doesn't need all of their fighters and Timaeus is all grown up, it makes sense that they can travel with us."
"Halmir's fun," Miyuki spoke up, "What's wrong with traveling with Halmir?"
She didn't get it, but Halmir was quite good when they visited.

Daeron looked at Miyuki through half-lidded eyes, and Earendil chuckled and answered for him.
"Sometimes Halmir gets a little too silly for people to handle," he explained with a grin. "Some people don't like it when he's like that. Arthael is good at getting him to behave, though. which is good."

"Considering that was the main reason she was assigned shifts with him in the first place," Lin replied with a smile.
She was enjoying Daeron's perhaps a bit too much.
"Look at it this way, it'll keep the trip entertaining."

"I've had entertaining traveling trips," Daeron replied dryly. "What I want is a good trip where none of my traveling partners are going to tick me off the whole time."
"Come now, he's not that bad," Earendil tried to soothe his brother. "Arthael will be there the whole time, I'm sure things will be fine."
Daeron arched one eyebrow, not quite ready to believe his brother.

"Look, we'll put Miyuki with Halmir, he'll keep her very entertained," Lin offered.
"He will?" Miyuki didn't understand what was the big deal about traveling with Halmir.
"He has a lot of fun stories," Lin offered, "He'll be tons of fun."
She looked back at Daeron and gave him a look.
"Besides that if you wanted it to be that sane, you shouldn't have agreed to travel with a couple with a nine year old. Look at it this way, with Halmir, we have a distraction from a long trip on horseback."
