Bane just stared.

That was...that was it? Oddly enough, that only made him angrier. With a grunt, he tried to move forward, but only got far enough to put pressure on his let. He quickly pulled his leg back and leaned against some machinery behind him. He wasn't going anywhere just yet. He wasn't about to try and hobble after the man.

The statues cautiously but eagerly crept closer to him. Thin tendrils dancing around their forms. Bane glared over at the things through the corner of his eye.
...great.


At the very end of the hallway, on the other side of the door, Charlamagne stood with her arms crossed, casually leaning against the wall with her shoulder. Waiting for whoever came out of the area first.

She looked up at Deadpool, took a quick glance into the hallway, then looked back at him and smiled. "Hi." she replied. "I appreciate you not killing him. After Xion reported back, I was afraid we were going to be short one soldier."

Charlot smiled a bit. "Of course. He was just getting ready to go out into the field and attempt to bring in a new subject. Since we're conveniently missing one now. But, his exit's not very far from here." she said, walking forward and leading Wade down the hall. "If he messes this one up, he was threatened with 'baby-sitting' duty. For some reason, the children enjoy giving him a hard time."

"Yes. The Rosie duplicates. They're almost perfect for controlled experiment. The exact same DNA, everything. So much easier to get sound results than testing on people with different age, body type, etc.." She replied, turning a corner and walking down another hallway. "I must say, quite a few of them can't wait to try out their new little powers. At his expense of course."

She grinned back. He was such a better version. Their Deadpool would have been complaining by now.
They came to a dead end, and Charlot pressed against the very corner of a floor tile that was against the wall with her foot. A few seconds after she had done so, there was a high-pitched 'ding', and the wall slid to the side. Revealing an elevator.
She stepped inside and pressed the very top level the machine could travel to. "So, any plans for what you want to do next? Or are you simply going to 'wing it'?"

She grinned. "Should I rephrase that then? What do you imagine you'll be doing the rest of the day? Or week. Or however long all this lasts." she said as the doors slid shut and the elevator began to move.

"Sounds perfectly fair." she replied, then paused a moment. "...speaking of which, you were one of the few that had vanished and returned. Any idea how long that little problem is going to last? For business sake of course. Trying to be as discreet and humane as possible, but I doubt this place would go un-noticed by someone like Strange."

They were only a floor or two left to go now.
