Do cat's have phones/a way to call senshi? Or are they suppose to just go find them etc?
Nessy: Cats do have cell phones. After all, it's their technology! They will have to either summon the phone and use it as a cat (ie: phone on the ground) or can go into their human form to make a more realistic phonecall.

Just pure curiousity, since I thought it was a pretty fun idea at the time.
In the past I recall some ideas floating around about canon characters not necessarily coming back.. but potentially items imbued with some of their power or essence might crop up. Is this still something we might look forward to in the future or is it something that was dropped when the shop reopened? :3
Nessy: Right now all of that is up in the air for us. Under the old shop management that was the plan. Since we have no idea what their metaplot goals or ideas were we have to make up our own and haven't decided where we're going yet. So while yes that might be a possibility in the future I wouldn't set any specific hopes or ideas on it right now.

I'm curious and wondering where all the civilian art is coming from? Is there some sort of contest or customs to get them through?
Nessy: The few done by blue were QFs of sorts. We will have available customs for them as soon as our new colorists finished with their contest and freebie work though. There's also the chance of free civ raffles or games, like for the upcoming prom! They're a little more sporadic, though =)
Akina: The most recent civilians that blue did were recognition pieces nominated by staff for active members of the community who did remarkable/generous things for the rest of the shop. These will crop up periodically as a thank you. Demy, Lith, and kalindara are just the first to be awarded. It is a recognition item, much like receiving a star candy or Luna-P would be. Templatists are also able to open alternate civilian art customs, if they choose, through monthly raffles for a total of two slots.

Sorry to bring this up again, but there was a thing where the the Rps leading up to growth could be used if they were started within two(?) weeks of actually growing your character icly correct (As long as you have the growth art...)? So to say, if I was wanting to count "Operation Pip-squeak" as one of those rps leading up to Hug-bell's growth to super, since it was started on the 25th of April, would it have to completely wrapped up by the 9th of May for it to count? AND the upgrade RP started then? Or could the upgrade RP start before the other rp ends if you're aware vaguely of how it's going to end?
((Sorry all this is getting a bit boggled up in my mind. ;; I hope this isn't a dumb question I should know the answer to.))
Akina: I don't really understand what you are asking! The wording is confusing. @_@ So I will just try to clarify the rule itself instead.
The rule is designed to reward people who have a plot lead-up to the upgrade/awakening of their character. If you RPed Hug-Bell having tea with her friend, you probably should not count it. If you RPed Hug-Bell having a really difficult battle and learning something about being a senshi, then you probably should. We are trusting the playerbase here to be fair with how they incorporate this rule. It's an honor system.
This rule only applies if you: a) receive your art and do NOT immediately upgrade your character b) have RPs that tie into the reasons for the upgrade/awakening
So, the way to determine this is:
You may only count "back" RPs AFTER you receive your growth art. So you are just looking at the time frame between when you initially received her growth art and the start date of the first RP you did of her as a Super Senshi.
The 'two week' rule only applies to cases where someone receives art and chooses not to awaken their character for an extended period of time in order to develop a plot arc leading up to that event. However, we can't just let you count three months of RP toward your next stage of growth. That would throw things out of whack. For this reason, we put a caveat on this that says you may only go backward at MAXIMUM 14 days from the start date of the RP where you upgrade Hug-Bell. However, you cannot count RPs started BEFORE you received her growth art.
So in order to figure out what you can count, you will need to have:
1. The exact date that you received Hug-Bell's growth art. 2. The exact start date of the RP where she will first appear as Super Hug-bell.
If the time between those two dates is less than two weeks, then you may count those RPs that you started between receiving the art and growing her to Super toward her eternal growth. We are trusting you to only count things that are part of a plot build-up toward her upgrade. Honor code!
No RP done prior to receiving her growth art OOCly may be counted.
If the time between those two dates is more than two weeks, then you may only count the RPs started two weeks prior to the start date of her upgrade RP -- and only count the RPs that were building up toward her getting more powerful!
I hope that clarifies it. We put this rule into place to promote people doing growth arcs, instead of just keeping it to one RP. Sorry it is confusing.
*edit*
That sorta helps, sorry for being confusing I wasn't sure how to word what I needed to know. That said, do the RPs started two weeks prior also have to be finished before her upgrade RP is started?
Akina: Nope, though they need to wrap up before they can be counted toward a growth.

Are corrupted senshi expected to bring in energy / have their own quota to fill, or are they just there mostly to break senshi faces ? Just a random thought I had.
Stae: Corrupteds have lower expectations on them in their first corrupted stage because they are dealing with a much tougher transition than incoming Lieutenants.
But their main purpose is Negaverse Weapons, so they are given more leniency when it comes to energy gathering. The Negaverse is largely about physical fighting. Extra strength, extra speed, and their weapons/youma are their tools. They do not have much magic to fight with (until stage three and four, but their weapon magic still pales in comparison to senshi magic). The corrupted senshi exist to help them balance the tables, and also serve as a way to demoralize and frighten the senshi.

Posting here with 2 original questions that I PMed (sorry!)
1. Since Destiny City is in the US, does that mean that the academies follow a standard US schedule? As in... classes from August to May, with the summer months as time off? Or is it more a year round kind of school system?
2. Do you know if Crystal Academy already has a debate team? I have it as one of Penelope's hobbies, and I'd be very willing to establish it if it's not already there in canon. But, I also don't want to step on anybody's toes.
Nessy: The public schools such as Meadowview and Knightside do operate on the same American school system of September 1st-June 1st with optional summer school for kids who either fail or just are overachievers. The boarding schools such as St Mags, Crystal, etc. probably have optional summer curriculum for those students who choose to stay on and complete it but that's entirely up to you to decide for your character. If you want a summer vacation you're all entitled to one!
I have not heard of a debate team in an official capacity yet so have fun with that!

Something that popped up a couple days ago when I was talking to some people regarding growths, if someone had a character that they won/bought/recieved from Natsube or Shazari with unique lines could they opt to swap for a templated growth? Basically give up uniqueness for a 'likely' quicker growth or if they absolutely love a certain template?
Akina: Because of confusion/stickiness associated with swapping between these, our default is going to be to stick to the system that is already in place. If your character has unique lines, they will remain on unique lines for all of their stages, and if they are templated, they will remain on templates. Natsu can elaborate on this.

I have PERSONAL YOUMA questions!
How does a captain or general summon their personal youma to a fight?
Does it magically teleport to the place or does it have to run the whole way there?
And how do they dismiss it?
Where does it come from and go to? (Like is it coming out of the nega dimension or was it wandering around the city before you called it over? Is it disguised as a person?)
Is there anything else about a personal youma besides the ability to summon the same one that makes it different or better than calling a random nearby youma for help? Do captains and generals share any ~MYSTICAL BONDS~ with their youma, or is it only there because it was assigned to that person? Do these youma have above-normal intelligence, and can they ever have human-level intelligence? Can these youma talk?
I would also like to make a request for a thread on youma info, as I think it would be useful for both negas commanding them and senshi/knights fighting them, to know more about them.
Akina: Orestae has been working on a youma thread! It's just not finished yet.

I was wondering the other day about the IC way that senshi team captain items work. From what I understand about it so far, it is more of a symbolic thing, not supposed to be an actual weapon or anything like that.
More or less, here are a couple specific questions:
1) How do captain items appear? Is it like how a Page/Squire/Knight's weapon somewhat shows up to them?
Akina: They appear when the senshi henshins.
2) When do captain items appear? I wouldn't imagine just calling yourself a captain for a team would be enough for the captain's item to appear. Does the captain more or less need to prove themselves to be "captain material" before the item shows up?
Akina: Captains must be recognized ICly as the leader of their team and must organize team members in some fashion to earn the item -- so, in a way, yes! OOCly, the Captain item appears on the art at the first growth after you have ICly established your team. A team is not two people! Four or more is our rule of thumb.
More or less, I just want to wrap my brains about this vague subject a bit. Thanks for any assistance!

I was wondering about a small plot point regarding NPC Negas - if an NPC Nega was captured, a lieutenant to be specific, and they were questioned, what kind of information would they/could they divulge? How much information do they have access to as a lieutenant? I know they probably wouldn't know a ton of information (nor would they give it), but I'm just wondering what kind of boundaries we could play with.
Thank you!
Akina: There are general knowledge things that are fair game: that Negas are divided by ranks, lieutenants cannot teleport, they have weapons that can be summoned. In general, though, we ask that you run anything significant by either the player involved -- such as if you want to learn the name of a particular Nega from an NPC -- or contact the mule if it is bigger than that. The kinds of things that your average senshi would know are probably okay. Anything beyond that should be bounced off of a GM. In general, if it is a significant questioning, we encourage you to try to find a PC Nega to fill that role instead since they can choose to tell you whatever they think their character would be willing to divulge!

If we're trying for Natsube's upcoming RL slots, but would also be interested in gold-bribing for the same character, should we just wait for next round of gold bribes? Since Natsu won't be rolling till the 21st?
Also, are alternate civ outfits cool for bribes, too?
Akina: You may bribe anything that can come on a template, but we are judging largely based on the bribe total itself. So even if you bribe high for an alternate civilian outfit, it might get passed over because of a higher bribe for a powered character, if that makes sense. The choices we make are going to be dependent on what the overall spread looks like when the window closes, which is information we won't be releasing. But you are able to send in multiple bribes. Honestly, most of our parameters for making decisions are super loose and will depend on what we end up with -- so my advice is just to bribe what you want to bribe and then just see where the chips fall.

Guardian Cat Questions!
Do Guardian cats know who they were or what they are from birth, slow progression as they become more aware of sensing power signatures as they mature, or does someone come around (another guardian or maybe a senshi) and tells them?
Nessy: Aside from the 'canon' guardian cats like Astraea and Diana, the other guardians are much like a sleeper cell. They were basically normal cats just meandering around doing what cats do. Then when senshi started being awakened starting with Sailor Nova the cats all woke up as well. They would remember waking up one day and knowing they had a place to be and a mission to carry out.
There seems to be no set outfit for guardian cats. Can we assume that the different outfits are because they were outsourced to different planets in the past?
Nessy: Absolutely. You can assume your cat simply just has a style all their own that they adopted from visiting various planets or perhaps they just dress oddly because they want to. Totally up to you how you do it!
Luna and Artemis were both rather tech savvy and there seems to be, from Chibi's toys like Luna P, that a lot of technology came from that planet. Can guardian cats be a bit computer geeky or even be capable of understanding things like wiring and electronics as well?
Nessy: They would probably have a bit of trouble understanding Earth technology right off the bat but if they spent time studying it I don't see why not! Artemis and Luna were both very proficient with ideas like technology and mathematics in the anime so there is definitely the higher-intelligence potential there.

What's the maximum amount of time a guardian cat could have been around in the present time?
Nessy: No sooner than a few weeks after Nova was awakened. Astraea was the first.
Do guardian cats age normally or are they immortal?
Nessy: During the Silver Millennium they were immortal and the Mauvians are generally longer-lived anyway. If they age at all they will age slower.
Silly question is silly, can guardian cats breed with each other? And if they can do they make guardian kittens?
Nessy: In canon, Diana is the daughter of Artemis and Luna. So yes if two Mauvians breed they make a Mauvian!

I have more guardian cat questions as well! XD
So, cats do have cell phones as well. Does that mean that we can also color our own cell phones for them and post them in cell phone thread in OOC subforum?
Mouse: I don't have a problem with it!
Luna and Artemis were quite important cats in the Mauvian planet, right? How important were they? What would a regular guardian cat remember of them? Or would their names even ring any bells?
Mouse: As per Ness's answer above, guardian cats would not have memories of Mau or their past lives. So, they would not remember Luna or Artemis. However, they might have heard of Astraea -- an unpleasant cat living with Sailor Cosmos -- who has Luna's memories!
In addition, whether they were important on Mau itself would be up for debate -- they were certainly important to the Solar system senshi, but they might have been normal citizens on their home world.
Diana was born in the future, just like Chibimoon did. Am I right?
Mouse: That's correct!
