Kiri smiled "ok its time for round 2 of my training" she said a bit tired from before now she had to do more jutsu that were powerful as she started her training once again this would be the final training she had to do

kiri thought of a new combo to use as she quickly did some hand signs saying "Suitenhoufutsu (Sky and Water Convergence)" as she stuck 2 fingers out ward pointed up at the sky the area began to shake a bit as water rose from the ground quickly turning the place into a small pond but not deep water as it formed into a ball as kiri jumped onto it and smiled
[1/3]

Kiri then did another series of hand signs as she said "Water Release • Water Blade Barrage (Suiton • Mizu no Yaiba Rendan)" as blade made of water were inside the bubble as the shot out in all directions except her own and cut deep into the ground and trees around her as she smiled and got her next jutsu ready
[2/3]

with the water blades and water bubble she as standing on she then created a hand sign as each sword turned into a clone of her self as she smiled saying "Mizukaisou Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Reflection Clone Technique)" as about 20 clones showed up she smiled "this will be a nice combo" she said canceling her jutsu her training now complete

Arrival into the dojo was quick, and even more so the monk produced from his sash one of the scrolls he'd stashed for use from the academy. The Honshi Arts. It was going to be a cake walk at this point in time. Reading into the first technique, the monk drew a kunai. Dart. Aiming awkwardly, the monk let it fly with ease.

[1/1]
[Honshi Art: Dart Learned]

Reading down the scroll, the monk was slightly disappointed with the difficulty of these techniques. He knew they were early, but nonetheless, the monk drew two shuriken as it was read. Honshi's Pair was another simple one. With careful aim, the two flew true into a dummy.

[1/1]
[Honshi Arts: Pair Learned]

Down the list the monk rolled. Three of a Kind was next on the list, and between his fingers, shuriken slid. With careful aim, the monk looked to the dummy already peppered with his projectiles. Off he let the trio loose, piercing into the dummy with ease.
[1/1]
[Honshi Arts: Three of a Kind Learned]

Now things were getting more interesting. Two shuriken sat in his fingers, as he looked about. None. No one would know of his training of such long range. Adding his chakra to the two shuriken in his hand, he let them loose, watching them soar with ease and speed into the dummy.
[1/1]
[Honshi Arts: Twin Aces Learned]

Again, the list fell down. The Calling Cord was next on the list. Five kunai into his hand, used to attaching wires for his skills, he focused chakra instead. Letting loose the kunai in a odd direction, the monk yanked upon the five chakra wires, redirecting them with force to the dummy.

The scroll unfurled in his grasp. The monk had been missing moments like this... The momentum that carried him forward, the monk read over the next step in the techniques. The Trick Full House was going to be a useful one. Five shuriken drawn, he did as instructed. One in his palm, and the rest in his fingers, Alzayr closed his eyes.

[1/2]

The monk let the chakra focus within his hands, and marking the locations he wanted, the monk let loose the shuriken. Peppering within close proximity of one another, the five shuriken formed a star. A star to be feared, as each one detonated, sending them off into pieces.

[2/2]
[Honshi Arts: Trick Full House]

Reading down the list, the monk smiled. Calling Cord was going to get more interesting. With the retracting line, it was going to make the weapons all the more difficult to avoid. A kunai in hand, the monk prepared the chakra wire much as he had before, and let the weapon fly.

[1/2]

As it flew, the monk let the crimson surge through the string. His chakra permeated wildly, as the kunai flew in a zigzag pattern as the monk willed. It was a wild technique, but it didn't last long. Noting the time he was granted, the monk pulled once more to pierce into dummy.

[2/2]
[Honshi Arts: Retracting Line Learned]

Now the monk was finally hitting the slope. The techniques were getting more difficult, as he read the Honshi scroll. Next was another addition to the Calling Cord. This particular one, the Manipulating Line was an interesting one to be certain. Step one was the easy stuff. He performed much like he had before.

[1/4]

Focusing the amount of chakra into the kunai, the monk added more than he would have with the calling cord. Off he sent the projectile, trying to pull on it gently to affect its destination. Nothing seemed to stir though, as it punched into the dummy nearby his target.

[2/4]

The monk went to retrieve this particular kunai. It was a complicated one. Hopping back to his standard position, he let himself focus a bit more. With not enough chakra mixed in before, the monk let the chakra flow more freely into the line he was attaching.

[3/4]

Off the kunai soared again, the brilliant scarlet and silver following after with ease. The lightest nudge with his finger sent the weapon hurdling in different directions, until it finally pierced the dummy which had been the target of his assault all along.

Thankfully, having read ahead, the monk was prepared. The next technique on the list being Hidden Stash. It was a bit more complicated than other skills. A kind of summoning it was, however it only worked one way. Grasping hold of a scroll he obtained from a store, he looked it over briefly.

[1/4]

The monk looked over the scroll with great care. He didn't want his hand to be going around and tearing through the scroll for an improperly performed technique, leaving the scroll as simply a scroll with a hole. Looking it over a moment, the monk let his chakra flow.

[2/4]

Slowly, the monks hand slid into the surface of the paper. It was an oddity, and even more so, he could tell there was stuff within it. A deep breath and the monk sent his hand hurtling in with speed behind it. It had definitely backfired and yet... Succeeded. Drawing a shuriken out from between his fingers, he definitely saw blood.
"Oh God damn it," the monk laughed.

[3/4]

The shuriken was out, and it wasn't going to go back in. A brief nod, and the monk went to look over the scroll again. The chakra flowing over its surface, he dipped his hand in with speed, drawing out a kunai by its ring. A brief success, but the speed was what would be advantageous in a fight.

[4/4]
[Honshi Arts: Hidden Stash Learned]

Reading briefly, the monk chuckled. The next one would be fun. Raising the scroll up, the back facing him, his hand surged forth with chakra. Senbon and shuriken and kunai surged forth, bombarding the dummy to shreds. He was starting to feel guilty about all of this.

The monk readied himself. Reading down the list, he knew he had quite the doozy left. The best part of most weapons were the snazzy movements which required little to no chakra on his behalf. It made the world so much easier, in fact. Houou Tsume was a drainer, but it all balanced out, inevitably.

[1/5]

Drawing a kunai from his holster, the monk flipped it in his hands, slipping a finger between the ring. Thoughts buzzed about, as he let the razor sharp thing spin as quickly as could be. He pondered on how the throw would function.

[2/5]

The spinning kunai ceased, and the cloth wrapped handle found its way into his hand. Noting where he wanted it to go, and how to arc it, the monk the fly the kunai. Slightly at a downward slope, it punched into the dirt with little success.

[3/5]

Another kunai drawn, and the monk let it whirl. His throw had been wrong, the spin on the projectile hadn't been near enough to get the altered trajectory like it was supposed to. A deep breath later, he began to try again.

[4/5]

Alzayr couldn't be sure how many times he'd tried. Hand to hand was always a specialty, but this was expanding his horizons for real. With a wide swing, and another kunai through the air, the monk grinned wildly. It recovered from its downward slope, piercing the dummy. It had been a wild success.

At long last, the monk was down to two. Skimming the idea for the next move, it seemed that it was going to be naught but irritating. instead of opening the channels to simply one scroll, he had to get it to three of them. Looking it over, he unfurled two more of the arsenal scrolls.

[1/6]

Upon the ground, they rolled freely. Half their length revealed, the monk pondered how in the world they remained without function after one use. Some kind of lock? An imprint of some sort? The possibilities were fairly numerous.

[2/6]

Grabbing hold of the discarded and old one, the monk looked it over with ease. There were plenty of inscriptions on it, but it wasn't going to be anything dire. The idea was complicated as it was, a scroll which opened one way usually had another. What made these particular ones so special?

[3/6]

As a practitioner of Kuchiyose, or the summoning, at this point, it was pretty hard to determine. Summoning the apes, he did ever so well, but there were undetermined features on the scroll here. Seals were where the monk often faltered.

[4/6]

Focusing his chakra on his hand, it was an oddity. He found a residue of some sort As if he had dipped his hand in water, or oil or something. Nonetheless, it was pretty hard to determine at this point. He knew one thing. It had to be removed.

[5/6]

His chakra swirled in the palm of his hands easily. The residue seemed to swirl away as he did so, and he had to laugh. Alzayr had figured out the lock on the scrolls at this point. Soon enough, his hand was free of the odd chakra residue, and it was diving into the second scroll, withdrawing a new shuriken.

The monk was at the end of the chain. One final technique and this was going to be a tricky one. Heavy artillery in this case, and it made everything all the better. This was going to expand his versatility madly. Nevertheless, his focus fell to his training.

[1/7]

Drawing a kunai, the monk slipped it into his palm. Letting the chakra flow freely into the projectile, he wondered how specific it needed to be. Would it be something specific? Nevertheless, the monk readied himself with a deep breath.

[2/7]

A quick flip of the kunai, and his hand hurtled forward. The kunai had been snagged out of the air, and it flew through the air with ease. According to the descriptions read though, he hadn't done it properly, for the damned weapon blurred not once.

[3/7]

Alzayr moved to retrieve the kunai. It was a bit more than he had hoped, but it still wasn't enough. Pulling it free, he turned to return to his stationary position. Another sigh, and he moved to channeling chakra into the kunai once more.

[4/7]

Flipping the kunai lightly, he thought it over. He wasn't supposed to be stumped so easily, and yet here he was, pondering over the move. A gaze up through the mist into the sky, and he thought it over again and again.

[5/7]

At long last, the monk had decided. He wouldn't think. He'd simply feel, letting the passion of the arts. Casually, the chakra choked kunai hopped into his hand, again and again. At long last the kunai hurtled through the air, a blur of such pleasure.

[6/7]

Watching it blur, he breathed in deeply once more. A snap of his fingers, and it detonated. Whatever pinholes that dummy had before was nothing. The dummy itself incinerated, and half of the two dummies spaced some short distance away from the primary dummy. Another one he'd have to apologize for. It was done though!

[from... Wherever] [dojo -1 post]

"Much better, needed that nap. Now, time to get some of this weapon training over with." Akio mumbled to himself, rubbing his sore, yet finally clean, biceps as he walked along the dojo. He was staring at the myriad of weapons and bukijutsu scrolls that populated the dojo, searching for a weapon that would work for him. He picked up a halberd and immediately set it back down, uncomfortable with the long weapon, the same went for a pair of swords he spotted. He tried a combat knife, and after a few quick swipes put it back, before he hurt himself. He was like a really picky kid in a candy store, he had no idea what he wanted to use, but he ha an inkling of an idea. Something intimidating and awesome, something cool. Akio thought as he perused the weapon collection, stopping every once in a while to examine a weapon, only to pass on it. It took him a while to pick his weapon of choice, and it was glorious.

And gloriously heavy.

It took both of his hands to lift the heavy sword, but it felt good in his hands. "Nice, big and powerful. This'll work very nicely." Akio told himself, smiling as he set it back down to study the scoll that held the techniques pertaining to the sword. Hakyoku-ken no Kata, huh? Okay, first we have... Ju Suto and Soin, first step. Okay, here we go. Akio set the scroll in his back pouch and dragged the weapon to the middle of the dojo, where we would train. Couldn't really swing this large, heavy weapon next to a wall. Akio hefted the massive blade and gave a few practice swings, getting used to the weight was important, before he tried lifting it over his shoulder. It was far more difficult than he had first realised, but he managed after much effort and brought the sword down on a training dummy, splitting the wooden training tool in twain. "Uh. s**t. Gonna have to replace that..." Akio mumbled softly, moving on to other techniques, like Soin.

[Learned :: Ju Suto]

"Next up is Soin, a pretty awesome sweep move. Pretty basic, but awesome." Akio dragged the weapon across the dojo floor a few times, practicing before he attempted the move that could put him off-balance, or cut off his own legs, both were nasty little outcomes, and Akio really wanted to keep his legs. He had plans for them, like running and jumping. Anyway... Akio slowly dragged the heavy sword across the ground, pivoting on his right heel and bringing the weapon up to waist level. He quickly spun and lopped what remained of the ruined training dummy off at the waist. Akio had a little trouble stopping the spin, it was a heavy weapon and he was spinning pretty fast, but he got himself under control quick enough to keep his legs. "Okay, that's one more down, several more to go...

"All right, that was simple, what next?" Akio wondered aloud, reading over the scroll and looking for his next technique. Sasu, a simple enough move, Akio would have it down before he knew it. All he had to do was read it over first. He had taken to actually studying the techniques before trying them first, something experience had taught him. Too many failed jutsu and too much time spent fixing those failures, and Akio hated failing. [1/2]

Next, he'd actually have to perform the technique. He should have been woring on his bloodline and his taijutsu as well, but seeing as this was the more physically demanding and time consuming thing, he'd get it done now while he still had some time to kill. Akio hefted the massive weapon and pulled the pommel to his gut, crouching ever so slightly, before he quickly thrust out with the weapon. He took an involuntary step forward, he still had to get used to he weight of the weapon, but he had it on lock. [1/2]

[Learned :: Sasu]

"Now... For the hard part." Akio wasn't looking forward to the complex arts in the style, reading how they were the some of the most difficult techniques to actually master, but he was a tough kid. He could do it. Akio set about reading up on his next technique, Houyou no Yochi, and sighed. it was going to be a very long day. [1/5]

"Son of a b***h, I gotta slam it into the ground? Gonna have to pay for the floors as well!" Akio mumbled angrily as he grabbed his new-found weapon and lifted it above his head a few times, bringing it down as softly as he could. He had to practice the move without chakra first, otherwise he'd waste it all without learning a thing. It was similar to Ju Suto, at least, that's how he worked it. [2/5]

Akio tried putting some chakra, a smaller amount than what the technique actually used, into the weapon and went on with his exercises. He wanted to practice putting some chakra into the blade, making sure he could do it before he jumped in head-first after a minute of practicing a downward strike, so he practiced. That was one thing Akio was good at, practicing something far more than he should have. It was better than failing, though. [3/5]

Akio was getting close to perfecting the technique he had been practicing for the last few minutes, his muscles sore and his mind reeling with boredom and hunger. Akio slammed the sword into the ground, without pumping chakra into the blade, lodging the tip of the heavy sword into the dojo floor. With chakra, that'd be a bunch of cracks and stuff. Might be useful in the future if I find a weapon other than my gourd. Akio thought as he pulled the blade from the floor, rather hesitant to complete the technique, seeing as he really, really didn't want to pay for any repairs. Still, he had to try. [4/5]

"Okay, here we go, Houyou no Yochi, gonna split some earth. Yay." Akio mumbled as he lifted the massive two-handed blade and slammed it into the floor, pumping as much chakra as was required into the blade. He reeled back when the floor cracked, the chakra shock wave shattering the wood and rock underneath. He'd have ruined his own footing had he not stepped back, thankful he hadn't stuck around. "Jeez, I'm gonna end up owing so much money..." Akio sighed softly and went back to his training, his wallet crying out for mercy but receiving none. [5/5]

"Ugh, thise was a lot harder than I had been led to believe, stupid self esteem and positive thinking, leading me astray with thoughts of confidence and success. I'll get you one day." Akio was shouting at himself again, meanwhile studying up on his next technique, Saidai Shinpuku. Stupi upwards swing, better find a use for this weapon style in the future or I'm going to be an unhappy camper. Akio sighed and studied the technique, as he had always done before. [1/5]

"A simple upwards swing, huh? Doesn't sound too simple, with this heavy weapon and stupid, tired muscles. I need a training shortcut, like a teacher or a mentor. Damn it, I sound like such a whiny b***h." Akio sighed as he practised the technique softly, pulling his weapon from the ground up as slowly as he could. It played hell on his arms, but it was necessary. He didn't want the thing flying out of his hands and hurting someone, most importantly, he didn't want to hurt himself.[2/5]

"No chakra to mold, nothing involving chakra at all, just muscle and determination. At least I'm determined." Akio mumbled as he pulled his weapon up and down, taking a minute or two between reps to rest his arms. He'd been doing this off no rest after the last mission, the trip, and the trek up to the slug cave, so he was slightly tired. He just needed some rest, only a little, then he could get back to his training. Just a little rest. [3/5]

Akio spent his time resting his arms, which was lasting a little longer than it should have, practicing without the weapon. It was considerably easier without the heavy piece of sharpened iron in his hands, he had to admit, but wasn't nearly as rewarding. When I'm done with this style, I'm gonna have arms like stoves and I'll be knocking punks out in seconds. It'll be awesome. Akio smiled and grabbed his weapon, feeling comfortable with the weight as he prepared to finish the Saidai Shinpuku. [4/5]

Akio put the weapon down, point first, and waited a few moments before pulling it up, much more quickly than even he had expected. Pieces of the section of the ruined floor came up as well, showering the area in front of him with debris as well as his sword. Akio dropped his sword after the technique, his arms tired and sore after practicing all the previous techniques, compounding with the pain he'd been in before, making his training just as painful as it was beneficial. I'm used to lugging the gourd around, not swinging it like a madman, I need some rest. Akio plopped down on the dojo floor and decided to take a little while to rest, to rest and recuperate. [5/5]

"All right, what's next on the training agenda? Hiki, huh? Great." Akio had been reading the technique scroll as he rested his arms, taking a peek at what he had to get mentally prepared for. Hiki seemed simple, it was hard vertical strike, not that it had anything to do with balance. Or strength. Akio sighed and grabbed his sword, ready to practice once again. [1/5]

Akio began by holding his weapon out with one hand, a feat easier said than actually done, as he used his other hand to counter-balance. With his 'free' hand on the broad side of the blade, Akio practiced a few quick side-steps. He had to get used to the weight of the weapon as he moved, otherwise he'd fall over. He really, really didn't want to fall over like an idiot. Then he'd look... Like an idiot.[2/5]

Akio went through his side-step routine a few more times before he tried swinging the weapon with only one arm supporting the handle, no easy feat, which is why he was practicing. He needed to perfect the technique, after all, and practice made perfect. [3/5]

After he had a few practice runs through his system, Akio felt he was ready to try the technique on a training dummy. Akio pulled one over and sized it uo, placing a wooden training weapon in its' stubby wooden hands and got into his stance. He'd need to get this right. He took a few moments to size of the dummy and get into place, as well as adjust himself accordingly.[4/5]

"Well, here goes nothing," Akio mumbled as he pulled his weapon up and balanced, eyes set on the dummy. Akio quickly side-stepped and pulled his sword up, sawing through a leg and an arm, toppling over the stupid wooden dummy, not that he cared. He finally had the technique down, and that meant he only had so many more before he finally mastered the style. [5/5]

"All right, all right, time to get back to training. Ugh, my arms are gonna fall off at this rate. Lemme see what's next on the list..." Akio flipped ope the scroll and began reading, searching for the technique he'd have to learn after the Hiki technique, hoping it wouldn't involve fighting giant bears to learn something. Akio really didn't want to fight giant bears, but he did want to learn how to swing his sword.[1/7]

Akio looked at the technique after Hiki, Taikutsuna Sutoraiki, and sighed. He wouldn't be fighting any giant bears, but he would have to work a lot harder than he wanted to. "Taikutsuna Sutoraiki, the technique of flinging chakra around. Wonderful, might as well get started." Akio grumbled in frustration as he stuffed the scroll back in his hip pouch. he hated hard work. [2/7]

Before he got to practice, Akio figured he'd begin with some stretching. He'd given his arms long enough to rest and recuperate, and he didn't want to pull something lugging that heavy sword around, so stretching was on the menu. He crossed his fingers and raised his arms above his head, trying to extend as far as he could. After a few seconds, Akio went through a few more stretches. [3/7]

"Ugh, here we go, Taikutsuna Sutoraiki coming up." Akio mumbled as he pulled himself to his feet, along with his massive sword, and began the process of practice and then execution, as he had done with each other technique before this one. So Akio began, as he always did, taking a few practice swings to warm him arms up. He didn't want to pull something and spend a day or two doing absolutely nothing. [4/7]

Next, I practice putting some chakra into the goddamn sword. s**t. Akio was bitching again, but he did have to deal with the heavy sword and difficult techniques, so he may have had an excuse. Either way, Akio had to pump some chakra into his sword, creating something akin to a second 'skin' on the blade. He'd have to perfect this, as it was the basis of the technique, and thus Akio spent far more time gauging the amount of chakra he would need. He needed to be precise. [5/7]

"Okay, I do believe I have that down. From here all I have to do is swing and release, and I'll have me a nice little projectile attack to surprise others with. very nice." Akio talked aloud as he practiced sword swings and chakra manipulation, figuring he had everything down once all was said and done. Now, all he needed was a target and he could finish the technique. He spied the ruined dummy from when he mastered the Hiki technique, and smiled devilishly, momentarily forgetting the cost of replacing said dummy. Akio gripped the pommel of his sword tightly, sending chakra to the blade. [6/7]

"Suck it dummy! Ha!" Akio shouted as he swung and released the 'skin' on the blade, throwing the projectile and shearing a chunk from the side of the dummy. "I'll have to work on the accuracy, but I've got it down. Now, I gotta go get some ninjutsu down real quick. I'll be back." He was talking to the sword now, which h left laying down next to his gourd. He would be back soon enough. [7/7]

The shadow clone Akio had created reached the dojo, the last destination on the training stop. The rest of the techniques would be learned by the genuine article. The shadow clone pulled the bukijutsu scroll from the wall, as well as the two-handed greatsword Akio had been training with, and began reading up on the techniques. [1/6]

Tetsu Rakka, this is gonna be a barrel of laughs.s, Thought the clone sarcastically, letting out a humorless chuckle as it began stretching out its' arms and legs, warming up before attempting the physically demanding technique. Jumping in the air with a heavy two-handed weapon wasn't easy, after all. [2/6]

All that effort, the stretching, was getting repetitive and annoying. Still, it was crucial in the training process. Akio needed it, and by default, as did his clones. They were perfect clones, after all, to the last detail. So the were stuck with being as repetitive as he was, no loopholes in that one. They did want him to understand the technique, after all. [3/6]

The shadow clone finished stretching and pulled the weapon it held up high, high above its' arms, and practiced a few swings before planting it in the ground and working on the jumps. The clone knew it could do this technique without the practice, but it was a tradition by now.[4/6]

The clone ripped the weapon from the ground and judged the distance between it and the closest wooden dummy, gauging the distance between the two. Once it was satisfied with the quick calculations, the clone leapt high into the air. It was a lot easier without the gourd.[5/6]

The clone brought the large weapon up to its' chest and spun it in the direction of the training dummy, pulling into a spin. Once the clone was close enough, and had felt it was the right time, it pushed the weapon out in front of it, the point of the greatsword entering the torso of the training dummy and exiting under the fourth rib. It would have been a fatal blow without the extra kick it delivered, but that was more to break the fall and right itself than cause more damage. The dummy had snapped in half, and the shadow clone was pleased. One more technique down.[6/6]

"All right, up next is... Great, more chakra manipulation, as if this didn't take long enough." The shadow clone sighed with frustration as it went over the next technique in the scroll, Bakuyaku Ugoki, the explosive movement technique.[1/9]

The clone wasn't looking forward to the technique, not that it had much choice. It wasn't the real deal, therefore it listened. The clone sighed as it continued to study the technique in front of it, not that it wanted too. It was a very difficult technique, as was the style.[2/9]

"s**t, pushing chakra to the lower half of the body huh? That will probably tire the legs out something fierce. This is gonna get real annoying. Might as well get it over with." The clone sighed after it was positive, absolutely positive, that it knew all about the technique on paper. It was time to put that knowledge to the test.[3/9]

That knowledge wasn't easily tested, unfortunately. The clone had already spent precious time stretching for the last technique, and seeing that it should be completely ready... It wasn't. Something was missing. Quite obviously the chakra, but something else as well. Practice.[4/9]

The clone wanted to practice without chakra, knowing that Akio could move a lot faster than the normal shinobi with a heavy weapon, he did lug that damn gourd around all the time, after all. He'd move much, much faster with this technique. The clone had to practice, though.[5/9]

And practice it did, with small bursts of chakra to add to the speed. It had to practise with some chakra first before it began to shove chakra to the entire lower half of the body first. Conditioning and all that, it was good for the body, the real body anyway. The clone would just disperse laster.[6/9]

Not that the thought of dispersing meant anything to it, it was fine with that. Right now it had to work on chakra manipulation, especially to the legs. The clone took time front the quick sprints to push chakra into the lower half, slowly at first, slowly building speed.[7/9]

Once the clone was sure it had built up and stored enough chakra in the lower half, from the bottom of the feet to the waist-line, the clone released the chakra and tried once again, far quicker than before. It was the practice that made this second nature. Now, it was time to complete the technique.[8/9]

"Let's do this s**t." The clone mumbled as it pushed chakra to the lower half and rushed forward, sword up high as it moved faster than ever. The clone came to a slow stop, but with practice Akio would eventually stop on a dime. For now, though, it was enough.[9/9]
