Ray nodded at the doctor before turning to Emma. "I'm half Lycan. And when do you want to do this date? I'm sure your father has plans with you tonight..." He asked, slightly eager.

Emma pulled out some paper and a pen out of her purse. She quickly wrote down a number. She then handed it to the Lycan. "Call me some time because grumpy pants doesn't want to hear it at this moment." The college student commented.

Ray nodded, taking the number and telling her his own. "Call anytime. If I'm not drunk, high, or otherwise busy, we can talk." He half-joked, getting up to leave.

Devlin sighed after a moment and face palmed himself "Oh god one of my daughters is going to be dating me at that age." he said groaning and then looking at the doctor "Um on second thought happy pills please?" He asked jokingly he was adamant on what he was about not wanting medicine.

 Lacy shook her head slowly. "as I said they will only last for a certain time. If you want something to last longer and bring peace, you must let me help you." she walked over to her cabinet and searched around a minute shuffling things around and pulled out a bottle of pills. "here, twice a day with an empty stomach, full glass of water. only when you feel like uou do now." she handed them to him and took a step towards him. and placed her fingers on his temples. I can see your thoughts, see your pain, sense your nightmares. I can help you if you let me. I'll dull the memories. It'll free you. she said inside his head

He sighed after a moment titling his head thoughtfully at the sensation of someone in his head. My memories, are what make me me. He replied telepathically he wasn't so sure it would work but he tried anyways.And assumed whether or not his attempts worked she'd still be able to understand taking a deep breath after a moment he closed his eyes Does not mean I'm closed off to talking with someone about my problems though. added with a slightly playful wink in her direction. hoping his daughter did not catch it.

Lacy frowned at his flirtatious gesture. you have children. Please don't forget that. Besides, you're not my type. she shook her head I will not erase the memories, but dull the pain, the bad emotions. You will still be you, but also able to move on. You may speak to me of it if you wish. But I am not one who would be able to give wisdom. I'm in the same hole as you.

Chuckling after a moment Devlin suppressed a shrug. expertly I know I have children yes. he replied and then frowned and sighed Oh well, yea go ahead then. he finally sent back Then closed his eyes thinking of his own past mistakes. He had a feeling he was going to have some dead time nothing to do, so he thought of everything good and bad the times his daughters visited him when they were younger and the few times he wasn't in the service. He then thought bout his love life his different partners and just sighed. He was one of those people who got torn apart and damaged during a relationship and it happened to him young before he met his daughters mother.

Lacy sifted through his thoughts only taking the pain and sadness from them numbing them until it was his choice to feel it or not. To see it if he wished. She pulled away when she finished feeling drained and weak. She sat down holding her head. "feel free to leave when you feel well." she said cryptically and went to her office

Nodding after a moment Devlin just sat there wondering the tingling sensation going throughout his mind. it was something akin to a sponge vigorously scrubbing away at the hurt and pain. He wasn't so sure about the anxiety part though. and just let out a large sigh deep in thought. and wondering about all the different decisions he could have made. eventually coming to the chaos theory. If he hadn't done what he had in the past he wouldn't be the person he was today, and most likely his daughters wouldn't be receiving the education they were now. He coughed clearing his throat but he didn't speak just sat back in thought. pondering.

Emma sat still and watched her father even to the point of holding his hand. She let her father know what was on her mind through her mind. "Don't worry daddy. Don't give up. Keep working hard for the prize. Girls like men who work hard for what they want." She told him.

Hearing his daughter in his head Devlin coughed a little bit and then looked back at his daughter smiling and winking before chuckling a bit to himself and raising his shield slightly so no one else could read his thoughts. "Well then" he said after a moment standing he went and knocked on the doctors door.
