"Of course not! Along my journey I'm going to find some magical artifact and steal..er..'borrow' it's power, then do the ritual wherever convenient." Mala said in a matter-of-factly tone. Unlike Van or Riley, Ceri was more likely to have a sort of clue about Mala's ambitions about immortality. After all, she had only gotten her home tidied up recently. Before it was so neat, notes on immortality and how to obtain it were scattered everywhere throughout her home.
Afterwards she turned to Rincewood and said, "I'd suggest not staying in this place any longer. It'd be best to escape the area, to somewhere that doesn't know you've been possessed."

Ceri smiled a little bit. She wouldn't share her friend's secret. She shook her head a little bit. Mala already knew her views on imortality.....It was a lonely, sad life, and wasnt worth it. Seeing as Mala was the only family that she had left, Ceri would stand by her side no matter her choice. She would have to be the voice of reason. She looked over her shoulder, "Mala, we should move to the kitchen....We're going to need some room if you're going to do this correctly..."

"The ritual? Shouldn't we wait until after we grow a bit stronger first? Last time I couldn't keep concious after the spell; I'd rather not risk draining more years out of my life than I have to!" Mala asked, finding the idea of doing it now to be a bit foolish. Sure, she was confident in her abilities...after she would get the magical power needed.

Ceri nodded. "Oh well....I guess I'll make us some dinner, considering we dine and dashed..." She looked at Mala. "You wanna help me?" she asked him. She walked into the kitchen and pulled out a few dried herbs. "There's a pork leg in the celler...could you go get it, Riley?"

"Sure!" Riley said with a nod as he hopped up to go find the pork leg. But not before wandering about to find the cellar.

"Sure, I'll help." Mala said, smiling despite the fact that she wasn't all too much of an experienced chef. Her basic mindset for pretty much everything these days seemed to be 'How hard can it be?'.

"Riley, the cellar is to your right...." said Ceri, without looking up from her herbs. Sure enough, there was a door right next to him. She smiled, and moved her bangs out of her eyes. She gave Mala her, "I think he's cute," look.

"Careful, looks pretty dark down there..." Van said observing Riley from above while Riley descended down into the dark cellar.
"You sound like my sister. I'll be fine!" Riley said before he missed a step and gave a yelp before tumbling down the short distance to the bottom of the cellar stairs. "Owww..."

Mala looked proud as she gazed back at Ceri, knowing full well what that look meant. Ceri was a good friend, and she trusted her overall, so she would probably protest less if it was her friend who started flirting with her brother instead of just some random stranger.
"If he sounds like me, you better damn well believe that he's right!" Mala called out upon hearing Riley's comment. After hearing his 'ooow' she said, "Told you so!"

Ceri turned around. "Could you get some water from the well outside?" she asked, pointing with a big wooden spoon. "And on your way out, tell Riley to get back up and watch for the trick step..."
((there is a reason why Ceri seems omniscient BTW))

Rincewind nodded. Hopefully it was dark enough that anyone outside wouldn't be able to tell that he was the one who was supposed to have been executed earlier today.
