It was difficult to see, so Jim lit up a flare and let it drop down onto the ground level, once it stopped, the area was swarming with infected, "I think we may have to leave, very soon here." Jim warned.

Nix ran her hand through her hair and spoke quietly, "The only way to leave this place is on the helicopter. And theres only room for 5 people...some will have to stay and wait..." Nix pointed the gun and shot one of the infected for no apparent reason. She looked over at Jim her eyes almost soulless.

"No one get's left behind... But no one will wait for me, I have my own route out, those doors won't hold that horde forever, we need time to get the chopper prepped and get it out, someone will need to hang onto the bottom rail, I'll glide over."

Nix looked at him with no expression. "What makes you think no one will wait for you? And might i add that if you didn't let me go on my own ...what makes you think i'll let you go on your own." She looked back down at the hoard of zombies and for a split second she wanted to jump in and join them. She shook her head and stared at her gun.

"I've got the parachute already, no one is in any condition to do what i'm about to do..." as he pulled out the charge, "this will destroy the horde and buy time for you to leave, but i'll need to dive down off this building..."

"Why not just let me do it? I mean face it...look at me...im already infected..." She stood up and looked down at the hoard again. Besides i don't think i can leave..." She looked away from the hoard and looked a Jim.

"None the less i can't leave. See you around...make sure to lead the group safely." Nix turned around and looked at the door waiting for it to burst open.
Leonardo had gathered everyone and looked up, "Hurry up!" He said to Jim and Nix.

Nix looked at the chopper and then back at the door. "Keep that orange liquid safe," She called out to Jim as she stared at the door.

When everyone was in, the chopper ascended and began to fly away.

"Hmph..." Nix looked at the door and watched it burst open. "I never needed luck." She began shooting one after another but only to keep them away from the helicopter as it began flying off. She then stopped when it got high enough and she was then lost in the hoard of zombies. They didn't attack her...there really was something odd about that blue liquid.
"You know that could have been you?" Leonardo said looking over at Jim.
