Maiara told him, feeling some of the hairs on her arms rising; she felt like he was speaking to her as if she were dumb or stupid. She sighed again with her eyes closed, telling herself to calm; he probably didn't mean to speak to her that way. Or did he? "Hmph. If that the only way, then so be it." She shook her head, "I have hard time understand you." Maiara didn't mean exactly his words, but him as a person. She couldn't figure him out.

Haikimaru turned his head finally to her. He wasn't treating her like a child. He wouldn't have even bothered with training with her. He would have give the number of his childhood instructors. He pinned her to the side of the spring. The movement was so fast that his towel left. He let out a growl and his voice became harasser as he talked. "If you want me to treat you like a child then I will." He answered her.

Maiara felt herself instinctively returning his growl with a guttural growl of her own. "I say, do not treat me like child." She didn't give herself time to be shocked or surprised at the sudden assault. She did, however, resist the urge to spit in his face. It appeared this man was quite volatile, a bit like herself, but she wanted to pratice with this man, so she would not lash out against him unless he provoked her too much. Maiara gazed coolly at him, even as he had her pinned agaisnt the side, "You try to make me fear you?"

Haikimaru kept up his growl. He didn't back down to anything. This woman wouldn't back down at all. Why couldn't she be like the cute submissive girls back in his homeland. There were many girls would would want to be seen with him. "If you think I'm treating you like a child then you're wrong. If you disrespect me I'll treat you like one. I'll make you fear me." His voice was still in a growl. He was proving to her that he wasn't going to just back down like that. He even challenged her by looking her dead in the eyes.

Maiara, too, would not let down her deep growl and she also continued to return his look with narrowed eyes. "The day I fear you, is day I fear my fox spirit." She told him gruffly, baring her teeth slightly in her growl while her hairs started to rise, like an animal, at his threat. "You disrespect me, and you will fear me too." Maiara said, returning the challenge. She couldn't do too much as far as movement, but she wasn't about to appear weak and wouldn't dare look away from him. "Are you keep me here all night?" She asked him in a mocking tone.

Haikimaru had seen the way she acted while he was walking up behind her and when she got into the warm pool. She didn't like it. He could tell at least that much. "I can make you beg for my mercy remember that. You're still a child." He was older than her and he knew it. "I can stay here all night until you learn to behave yourself."

"No you can not." Maiara said to him as if she were stating a fact; a set-in stone, irrefutable fact. She would be too proud and stubborn to beg for mercy after stating this. "Now you call me child? Do you not have other females to attend? Or must you stay with girl-child me?" She would begin to mock his man-hood if he didn't let her down soon. She wasn't about to let him 'teach her how to behave'.

Haikimaru rolled his eyes. This woman was hopeless. She didn't seem to get a word that he said no matter how many times she repeated it. Maybe she was two proud to say she was wrong about what he said. "Call yourself what you like. I think that you are a strong, fast, fighter who is a beauty in her own right. You're pride even rivals mine." He told her.

Maiara blinked in confusion, surprised, "What?" She didn't understand why he was saying this now. Why did he roll his eyes? It was true that not much of what he was saying got through to her. Maiara let out one final growl in frustration, "You make no sense to me, fox-man." She let the hair relax as she continued to speak, "First you attack, I still held agaisnt wall, now you say this. Do you fool me?"

Haikimaru let out a loud growl as he pulled away from his date. She was stubborn and child-like beyond all belief. He didn't want to touch a woman how could not use all of what she had. Strength and beauty. It wasn't worth his time. "Say what you want. You are like my little brother and sister."

Maiara felt quiet relief at being released, letting out a soft, "Dear Wayra," as she felt her two feet supporting her full weight once again. She breathed in sharply and opened her mouth to speak to him harshly, but shook her head, deciding agaisnt it. Someone like him could not tell her who she was, he had no right. He was no shaman. "Forget it. I find someone else to fight, someone with more fire to spirit than you. I thought when I saw your spirit, that day, it was large. But I guess it full of steam, like this place." She needed a stubborn soul to match her own in order to get a good fight. "I am a fool. Tavvauvutit." She said finally, getting out of the water, with her hand over her shoulder covering her markings, feeling liberated as she felt the cooler air surround her.

Haikimaru didn't want to bother with this woman. He put his wet towel on the side of the spring and got out. He knew she'd probably look at him so for his own modesty he turned into a fox and walked away with the towel hanging from his mouth. She wasn't worth the fight.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Approaching the Hot Springs with the beach store bags in one hand, Rye's other arm had found its way back around Mizuki's waist. They had left the mall and the city some time ago, heading for the Hot Springs for a relaxing date. Or at least, the spirit assumed it was a date. Though even if it wasn't, that was fine; he would be alright either way. Slipping around the side of the building to the edge of the springs, he stops. They would have to change in the one room building by the springs before getting in unless they wanted to poor Rye's head to explode in embarrassment.

Mizuki smiled as they got to the spring. The girl then smiled and started to undress. She really had no sense of human modesty. She was used to it because it was natural for a mermaid. Once she had most of it on she found that she could tie her top. No only was her arm broken, but it was her backside making it harder for her to tie. "Pyry could you help me tie down the piece on my back. I'm having issues." She asked with a smile. She had been to the springs before and she knew there were some bags for putting swimsuits in that she could put on her arm so she could jump right in.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
A brilliant blush overtook his features the moment Mizuki began to strip. He slipped behind her and turned around to quickly strip and change himself. He was afraid that slipping away to change would be rude, and so he simply did so out of sight. At her request, he turned around, already changed into his suit. Folding his clothes quickly, he sets them back away from the spring before tying the back of Mizuki's suit. "I-is that alright?" he asks, a tad shaken by her sudden stripping down. He would be fine, and already the blush was beginning to fade from his cheeks.
