 Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan froze in her tracks, her feet almost glued to the concrete as she heard Tsume yell her name. She slowly turned, the dagger being dropped back into her bag. She cautiously walked over to him her eyes to the ground, feeling horrible for cutting him. She stammered, her words coming out stuttered and soft.
"I-I'm s-sorry...I-I d-didn't m-mean to...I-I t-thought y-you w-were N-Nick or one of the o-other v-vampires...I-I'm s-s-sorry T-Tsume..."
Sheridan slowly looked to him, her eyes filled with the fear she had been feeling as well as tears for harming the one person that hadn't fully been cruel to her. She held her arm out to him in a silent offer, knowing that he would need the blood to heal the wounds. But was worried that he would be too upset with her that he would hurt her instead. She took a few steps back, leaving room between them but still close enough that he could easily reach her wrist. She was scared that he would be so upset that he would take blood not from her wrist but from her neck again. As she stood there waiting she whispered over and over to him.
"I-I'm sorry..am so s-sorry T-Tsume.."

 He growled as he felt the stinging. It was burning and faint smoke came from the wounds. "Ugh..." he looked up at her but then away as he licked the wound himself trying to at least stop the bleeding before he bled to death. It didn't stop it but it slowed it down. He looked to her wrist and shook his head. "Not here...Are you mad? Do you want everyone to know what I am?" he said taking her arm and pulling her along seeing she was in a horrible mess as is. He moved into an alley dark enough for no one to notice. He gripped her arm and bit into it taking enough to heal his wounds and he licked the wound til it was closed up. "Next time I'm calling your name." He stood to his full height of 6'2'' and stared down at him. "That really hurts you know..."

Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan shrank back a little as he looked to her. She looked to him, her eyes going wide before she dropped her arms.
"I-I just t-thought you could do that s-shadow t-thing. I-I'm s-sorry...I-I thought y-you were N-Nick or one of the o-others... Y-You didn't g-give me a-any h-hint t-that it was y-you..."
Sheridan closed her eyes and bit her lower lip as she was dragged into an alley. She gasped when she felt him bite into her wrist, her eyes staying closed as she bit her lip. As she felt him close her wounds and move away from her she slowly opened her eyes as she looked up to him. As she looked to him the sorrow and apology was visible in her eyes.
"I'm sorry..."

Tsume looked down at her and his hand came up as if he was going to hit her but she rubbed her red hair. "It's fine. I brought it upon myself...Now don't be leaving the house when I'm not around", he said, scolding her. "let's just get home, kay?"

Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan looked to him as he lifted his arm up, she bit her lower lip not knowing what to expect. But as he just rubbed her hair she sighed a little and gave a small smile and nod.
"I'm sorry, I just thought it would be best for both of us to get out of the house. I-I'm sorry, I really am Tsume...If I had known...I wouldn't have..."
Sheridan adjusted her bag on her shoulder, reaching inside to wrap the dagger in the towel once more. She looked to him as she turned towards the street waiting to see if he wanted to go now or not.
"When we get to the house can I ask you some questions before you have to go to school? Speaking of school what did the principle say when you called in for me?"

Tsume looked to her and brought her into his arms and walked out of the alley way. "He was very placid and was ok with it really. I still have to go. It's my job now so just enjoy your time at home for once", he said rubbing her head. "But I still expect you to finish your homework when you get back to school." He smirked at her.

Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan looked up to him as they walked back to her place. As she looked back down to the sidewalk she shivered, she wasn't looking forward to doing her homework with Nick, not after what had gone on.
"Would there be any way I could do the assignment without a partner? Or will I still have to work with Nick?"
She continued to walk with him to her home, as they reached her front door she took out her key and unlocked the door, making sure to lock it behind them.

He kept walking with her and once inside, he sat down on the couch. "Well, he's not going to be in tomorrow", he said. He began to pick at his nails and clean them of blood and dirty. "I assure you." He smiled showing off his fangs.

Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan tilted her head to the side, confused by his words. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and then sat on the couch. She crossed her legs under her and turned her body to face Tsume.
"What do you mean he won't be in tomorrow? What happened back there, before I cut you?"
Sheridan took a sip of her water and then placed the glass on the table and turned to him once more. Her eyes had gone back to their normal red showing that she was calm for the most part. She was still shaken by all that had happened but she was no where near another break down. Which was good because she truly didn't wish to take another one of her sleeping pills.

He looked to her and waited for her to sit down before explaining himself. "I read his mind. His Lord wants all the vampires, including the ones stationed in that school, to come back the clan. I'm not sure what they are going to do but I know it isn't good", he said leaning back. He rubbed his shoulder, a slight pain stabbing in his shoulder.

Sheridan Nemesis Vane She looked to him and slowly stood up and moved to stand behind him. She placed her hands on his shoulders and started to massage them as she listened and then spoke to him.
"I am sure that isn't a good thing, are you sure Nick will listen though? He seems to be like a drug addict and I'm the drug, her can't stay away even when he is told to. What are some ways to make it so they can't get me away from you? I know about the bonding, but like you said I don't think I am ready for that. Are there any other ways?"
Sheridan continued to stand behind Tsume, massaging his shoulders, upper back and neck. She wasn't looking forward to the upcoming confrontation and was worried that some how they were going to lose and she was going to be taken for whatever reason. She just hoped that some how she could know what was to happen and why the others wanted her so badly.

Tsume watched her as she moved around and touched his shoulder. He jerked a little not use to being touched like that before he began to relax. "well, he seemed kinda bent when I read his mind. He was sure he wasn't going to make it to see you in school for a few days", he said as he looked up and shrugged her hands away. He stood up and bit his finger and placed it on her neck. "this will tell me if you are in trouble." The small droplet of blood turning into a small black heart.

Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan moved back from the couch as he stood up. She looked to him as he bit his finger and placed the blood on her neck.
"Well go ahead and get ready for work, I'll stay here, promise. But before you go can we go to Starbucks so I can get a few of my teas?"
She looked to him as she went and grabbed her bag from her room. She hung it over her shoulder as she walked back into the living room. She was ready to go seeing as she hadn't taken her shoes off or anything else.
"How will this work? Could you explain how it will tell you I am in trouble?"
Sheridan paused for a second looking around the home and then looked back to Tsume as she spoke softly.
"Sorry if I'm asking too many questions...I'll stop if you want me to.."

He looked to her and waited before unlocking and moving out. He was quiet for a bit before he began to explain. "The blood is connected to me and so long as it is on you, I can sense your change in emotion and now if you are in trouble", he said stretching a bit. "The mark won't come off but it still isn't a marking on you where they will leave you alone. It's the best I can do."

Sheridan Nemesis Vane Sheridan walked out the front door and turned to watch Tsume lock the door behind them. She then headed towards the Starbucks wanting to get her teas and head back home so she can relax and Tsume could go to work.
"Oh, I see, so what you are basically saying is that in order for them to stay away from me for good you have to mark me? There is no other way other then through death."
They reached the Starbucks and she walked inside and ordered 3 of her teas. After paying she sat down in a chair and waited for the teas to be finished. Once her name was called she got up and grabbed the cup carrier.
