"Well of course I'm having fun Sophia, I got all these new people to help us." She shouted outloud as she hugged them both close to her, the heat of her body VERY expressive from the temperature before she released them both. Sophia decided to introduce herself before as she looked to Luka as she tilted her head slightly. "Yup, some people just need to show how much they care for eachother, which is why I'm gonna deck a wurm in the schnoze." She shouted out loud very happily before jumping up when Luka stated he's joining in the fun. When he mentioned the word Spastic, she tilted her head, wondering what the word meant. She soon looked to Lysandre who asked about the king before she giggled and nodded. "Yup, or glorious King Akeem. We're gonna fight some monsters in the heart of Val'Ghast." The men had both fully introduced themselves before she shouted out, "I'm Saleria!" She smiled before she noticed a pocket watch, quickly reaching out to grab it. "What's that?"

Sophia shakes Luka's and Lysandre's hands when they shake hers. She nods to Luka's statement. "Yes, she can be a bit...energetic. I think she's trying to give a new definition to the term "wildfire."" She sighs, smirking a bit. When Saleria reaches for Lysandre's pocket watch, Sophia grabs her arm. "Calm down, Saleria, you can't just go grabbing people's possessions." She pulls her hand away and looks back at Luka. "I had to get fireproof gloves just so that I could have some chance at holding her back..." She looks at both men. "Sorry if she's being a bit overwhelming." She rubs the back of her head. "Maybe you won't have to get used to it."
Luka Highwindxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ( sorry for the s**t post... I'm literally out of ideas of what to do right now. My brain is dying on meh sad ) TABTAB Luka smirked. "Anytime after the hunt. I'm game." He gave a somewhat pointed look at Lysandre. He was always looking for a good challenge, but doing so before one of the best fights in their lives was not a good idea. He let out a huff of sorts after watching Saleria's antics and Sophoa's... Shyness? He patted Sophia's head lightly. "Not a bother. It's actually better. Makes things more lively and interesting." He was truthful in this. Some of the best time he ever had on a job was due to antics of those around him. That, and when he got to hit very large and powerful things with his own very large and powerful things. Just then, a thought occurred to him: he had been a loner for a while. Maybe it was time to finally pick a side. Maybe this next series of fights would mean more than a reward.
He had over-reacted. Of course he had. He wasn't paying attention. He made it seem like he was talking to someone else when he addressed taking their time. He was wrong, but this wouldn't be the first time. He would be wrong many more times after, he could see it, or he was seeing it. Of course, he should have seen being hugged by a flame being unexpectedly. More burn, more scorch marks. He would need a new suit...He would need a new everything. Maybe it was time for a change? It didn't matter, he was released and he dusted himself off. I am going to need some new everything when I'm done with these people Lysandre thought as he looked to his tarnished suit. One of time had to look good.
The fire one was a bit dull though. She...Didn't know what spastic meant. There were words that some might not know, but even being called a spazz would be something to recognize. She laughed when he mentioned the king and he raised a brow. Lysandre knew nothing of the royalty, but if there was a lonely queen somewhere, he could find out about that. Live his life well and good in a kingdom. Moving to the point, he simply looked Saleria up and down. "Well, I guess I have nothing better to do" Lysandre stated as Saleria reached for his pocket watch. Had Sophia not stopped her, Lysandre would've attacked her, and this moment would have changed. "It's life." Lysandre responded back to Sophia as he held his pocketwatch, preparing the time as usual. They were in a war. He had just taken a side.

Weapon and Talent
Talent Name: Chrono Fantasia Talent Description: As long as Lysandre (As he calls himself) is near or has an item that is related to time (Say a clock, or pocket watch) Lysandre is able to suck in 10 minutes of time for each post. If he tries to suck up time while near a time related item, his time will be doubled as well, meaning if he absorbed 15 minutes from an enemy during normal means, with a pocket watch in hand, he would absorb 30 minutes from his enemy. Talent Weakness: This talent can only be used with a time related item, and without it he is caused to work just as a normal time mage.. If his time related item is broken however, he will have to pay an hour worth (60 minutes) No matter what.
Weapon Name: Kronos Weapon Rank: B Weapon Type: Scythe Weapon Description: Kronos is hard to explain. When you think scythe, you think that a scythe starts out as a scythe. Kronos is actually held in the form of a pocket watch that becomes As such When Lysandre rewinds the clock back three hours. Weapon Passive Abilities:
• FastForward [ E l Passive ] Whenever Lysandre goes to learn a new ability, he will see the future version of himself learning the move. This future version will notice the rift in time and thus transfer time back and forth to the old Lysandre in order for him to better understand the ability and use it sooner. (-2 to all training) • Paradox Subsection A [ C l Passive ] now like Accelerated time loop, Paradox Subsection also effects the body, but the aspects of time that flows from him as well. This allows for any time ranked ability to be pushed one rank higher. Time intake is not increased.
Weapon Activated Abilities:
• Switch [ E ] By rewinding the pocketwatch back three hours, time flows around the watch causing it to shift into its true scythe form. • Chrono Intake [ C ] By opening the pocketwatch and turning the time forward a whole hour, Lysandre will absorb 15 minutes from the area around hi, • Rift Slash [ B ] With Kronos in weapon form, Lysandre will slash the air in front of him, sucking in whatever attack is sent forward at him into it. The rift is then closed and can be opened behind the person who sent the attack. This attack as long as it is the same rank or below
Saleria pouted when Sophia pulled her hand away from the pocket watch as she whined a bit. "But I wanna grab it!" She then pouted before she looked to Luka as he seemed to be accepting of Saleria's hyperactivity as she giggled and clapped her hands. "Finally, someone accepting of my nature!" She giggled and smiled at Luka before she looked to Lysandre and smiled at him as he spoke about having nothing better to do, calling the pocketwatch as life. "Interesting. So you both are going to assist the kingdom of Aramil?" She asked them both softly.

Sophia grimaces slightly and pushes Luka's hand away when he pats her head. "Please don't. I'm not a pet or a child, I don't exactly like getting treated like that..." She then sighs and glances at Saleria, then back at Luka. "Great, now you've encouraged her childishness." She gives a little smirk, despite trying to hide being amused at Saleria's childish antics. "Now we all get to deal with that can of worms. Or at least I will. Even if you two do decide to join our side, no telling who you'll actually end up working with, if anyone." She glances at Saleria. "For example, I didn't think that I'd get partnered up indefinitely with Saleria here when I first joined. But there hasn't been a job yet where we haven't worked together..." She looks at Lysandre, nodding to his last statement. "Yeah, that's true. But still, because she won't, I'll apologize for her if she annoys you." She looks at the two of them. "Well, thanks in advance for your help, even if we don't work together."

Opening the door slowly Nymn stepped out, her tiny frame shaking unsteadily, dizzy from all the spinning she sat down on the ground for a second. 'I think I prefer getting shot into a volcano.' She thought. Looking around she realized that she had no clue where she was. 'Ugh...' Slowly she curled up into the fetal position to keep her head from spinning anymore while snuggling with one of her cloths.

[Will be posting in Val-Ghast soon, anyone who wants to participate can follow once I do so]
People definitely had enough time to decide whether or not they were goin gto come and make a name for themselves on Val-Ghast. Akeem gave the nod to one of his captains, who immediately began shouting orders. In no time flat Dathan Town's forces began to mobilize. There was a small contingent of soldiers left behind in order to guard the coastal town while the rest pushed further inland. The very first location they were going was a town plagued by arachnid monsters. There were actually people who lived there for some reason, though their main purpose in life seemed only to serve as food and sustenance for the creatures there. The plan was very straight forward. Along with the soldiers and Akeem himself, there was a load of construction workers and a metric crap ton of supplies. Val-Ghast would be fortified for the time being. Then, the hunt for broodmothers would begin. Once it was clear that there were simply not enough monsterse to cause any more problems. The people of Val-Ghast would be trained and taught to defend themselves. The town would be registered as a new city of Aramil and they would receive all the help they could possibly need.

• Mind Games The djinn have a permanent 'force' around their skin that will reduce incoming damage by a rank (excluding holy and unholy magic). This puts them on the same level of base defensibility as a werewolf, although they can't regenerate, so... At adept rank, this force can become amplified by the djinn's mind, psychomanually controlling the level of force in the layer of magic. They can apply energy to it to block all manner of attacks, meaning they don't really have to learn defensive abilities. It is really no more potent than any other defense of its rank, though.
• Chi Sense This is required for all Dim Mak techniques. It allows the user to see the flow of chi within any surrounding enemies in an area, making hiding from them quite useless as they pop up in their vision just as easily as infrared. This vision will last for five posts at a time, and requires a cool down of one post after usage. Once Stage 4 is learned, the negative effects of this technique disappear and becomes a passive ability of the user.
• Light Feet The user is able to lengthen her stride and step lightly when running, which is good for crossing large distances without attracting the attention of guards or scouts. They make little noise when running like this.

'Ugh, what's going on?' She thought, standing up and placing her cloth back in her bag. Before she realized it they all began moving past her at frightening pace. Someone ran by her and snapped St at her. "Move rookie!" She startled and started running with them. Working her legs to catch up and then slowing to their pace she stopped next to a warrior that was running near a small pack of more men. "Uh, what's going on" He gave her a sardonic look. "What have you been taking a nap all this time?" She raised her finger to retort but then put it down. That was exactly what she had been doing. Snorting he turned away from her since he couldn't out run her. "I don't have time for rookies, just don't get yourself killed, and if you do make it flashy." He said. She gave him a thumbs up and kept running. 'I just get here and already I'm getting dragged into something.' She kept running next to him as she heard him grumble, "What idiot let a ten year old come here?" She ran ahead with a straight face before she turned back and looked right at the man with the most serious fave she could muster. "I'm nineteen." She stared before she looked forward and began to prance forward, following the men in front to their destination. (exit)

Saleria could hear the shouting and giggled before her smile turned into a dark grin. "It's show time people! Let's get moving!" As she ran, she left a trail of glass, following after the soldiers who were moving on with Akeem.

[Ebony brows ascend on high at the unexpected outburst, hostility brewing as quickly as an unexpected summer storm. A single limb flinches, hardened reflexes reacting to shield from smiting fury that would never come. Lowering armored bulwark, a moment of awkward silence is imminent. Rarely inclined to do so, an apology is made in the god's own way. "I... Did not realize you felt so strongly on the matter. He obviously isn't like most demons i've encountered. So i'll wait to formulate an opinion on him until we meet." Shades of dripping amber remain locked forward; regretful sigh as he hears lilting vocals waver.
Great... I've made her upset. How does one go about cheering people up Vexion? Amused snort comes with the liberation of miniature olfactory fueled jets, prismatic hues rolling in their casings. How am I to know? You're the man here, not me. Try swallowing your pride and actually using your words. A smirk splits the pagan's maw at his beast's cheekiness. "I will help you find him, if I can. A demon that can charm an angel so stalwart as yourself mustn't be all that bad I suppose." He assures; though struggles to refrain from snorting at the angel's devout belief in their creator. It was naïvety in his eyes, believing that a higher benevolent power had a plan for them all. What sort of omnipotent being with even a shred of morality would let such catastrophe occur on a daily basis? Certainly not Tiranus; though he never claimed dominion over all. He's just another pretender for me to topple. Thought but not voiced, for inciting holy wrath twice in such a short span might just get him toppled from their ride to civilization.
The land scape zips by upon dragonback, and sure as the sun's rising they come across the first noteworthy cluster of buildings. Touching down in the town square before dismount is made, metal sheathed palm pats the dragon's hide praisingly. Foreheads touch for a moment, both eyes closing before they separate. "Lost your weapons, huh? Yes, I can get us dinner; there has to be a meat block somewhere around here that can give me enough stag or beef to feed Vex. He should be fine after eating, to be honest. It wouldn't be our first time flying across the ocean." gauntlet wavers in farewell, and before quickly disappearing amongst the townspeople and winding roads.
Many a passerby stopped to stare in awe, but it was a mortal reaction he had grown used to over several millennia. It was worse at a time, but that was long ago; and the reign of an iron fist had crumbled so that not even the whisper of a memory remained. Inquiries are poised to several of the townspeople, and at the end of it all a friendly soul helpfully points the god of war in the direction of the nearest butcher.

• Sound of Mind, Sound of Body - Tiranus has an extremely strong mental barrier. This makes him immune to fears, stuns, auras, and seduction techniques up to his rank.
• Armored skin - Immune to damage C rank and below
• Masterful dragon riding - Allows for aerial acrobatics and impossibly dextrous maneuvers whilst atop the dragon
• Glory to me - Pagans are very... noble. They have the air of a King or Queen about them; even a divine. This comes from this particular ability. 'Glory To Me' is a mental allure that they constantly release from their vessel, similar to an Incubi's seduction, but weaker. Rather than seducing people, this ability fools their mind. It can make them see things that aren't real. In fact, they can even feel these things. This ability is literally impossible to ignore or break out of, but it serves little benefit other than prestige. A Pagan will often use this power to make themselves appear divine; the sun will rise behind them, their clothing will flow and shine with the breeze, they'll just seem so... God-like. They can even change their appearance using this, although it's a temporary thing. This ability can have some uses in battle, though. For example, if a Pagan is to cast a shadow over themselves, it'd make them harder to see. If they make the sun shine behind them, they can make their enemy flinch away from the overbearing light. They can also fool enemies into thinking they've struck a shield or something like that, although that sort of manipulation over reality is something that only Pagans who focus on this type of power can do.

All this time had passed, and Aurelia had done all but nothing. It was truly a wonderful feeling, to be free of the constant burning call for action that was so deeply ingrained within her. Dalthan was where she landed after a few hours of directed flight, moving like an energy blast of some kind, tearing through the clouds by the grace of Samael's power as a gift. News hadn't reached the people of who she was, of what she'd done. All the people of the east knew was that the gods were warring, and it wasn't yet their problem. Well, Aurelia had all but ended a years long conflict, a part of a far longer campaign in fact. Michael hadn't yet gave us his a** on the way out the door, and Kala was still holding all the demons. The sonic boom of her body created a sort of quiet. Seconds passed, and Aurelia stood tall, radiating power of godly influence quelled, and everyone went on about their business. She had no idea where she was, no inclination towards doing anything and absolutely no clue where she would go. Anyone else would be flustered, but Aurelia is not anyone else.
She is a demon of great ambition.
She cracked her knuckle, rolled her neck, and got the ******** to work building something she could be proud of.
Skip a year forward and Aurelia the Dark Child ran a successful business hunting monsters and wurms. The outside of her building looked a bit run down sure, with a sign that said " on ers Ma C y" and stairs that looked unreliable at best. Just through creaky doors, the inside was a dimly lit building with heavy weapons hanging from the walls alongside the heads of beasts they'd been used to kill. Aurelia sat at a desk with a telephone on one side, a missile launcher on the other, and her feet on the desk between them. She wore clothes remnant of what she had always worn before, a beige jacket, metal greaves and breast plate, grenades all along her belt, and sunglasses, darker than her own hair which retained it's pixie cut after all this time. Whatever the day brought, be it boredom or work, Aurelia would face it down as she always did. Even as her head hung back over her chair, somehow the famed Godslayer knew that the day would be one to remember.
Her retirement would be ending sooner than she thought however. Right in her front door walked a mystery of the kind that sent girls, especially those seeking danger, into a state of excitement. He reeked of sex appeal and confidence, bearing dark skin and long, well kept dread locks. He wore a suit so black she could almost see light struggling to escape it's pull, from the jacket to the vest and tie. Almira spied a ring on his finger bearing a sigil that almost ruined the look; the seal of vangelism. Golden, betraying orbs hidden behind black shades saw through the vaneer that made him so attractive. An incubi, her eyes told him, and judging by the way he kept his appearance told that the man was an agent of something greater than himself. A choker around her neck began to itch, her teeth dug into her tongue behind sealed, unmoving lips. He flashed white teeth at her as the door clicked shut behind him, a bright fang beckoning to break skin. Electricity sparked between the windows into their intentions, and Almira snagged Abigail, her shot gun before he coudl mvoe a step closer. "Don't move another inch. I don't play well with fiends of your kind. Once was quite enough," she warned fingering the trigger. The incubus flicked his hands up disarmingly, holding his grin. "Relax, Ms. Samaelson. I come bearing a mandate from higher up the ladder than I could deny." Aurelia lowered the weapon, balancing it on the table and pushing a metal chair across the room with her abilities. He took a seat, crossing his legs, and she adjusted her seat at the desk so that she could properly address him. "No one you serve holds power over me, Incubus. You, as well as your gods are beneath my concern. Tell Luhkan or Raphael if they want my attention that they can come get it themselves." It may have been an unbelievably brash thing to say, but Aurelia had killed a goddess, and taken a large part in her death at that. She flicked her wrist and the pieces of technology she used to process and accept work came together in front of her, transforming the desk from a foot rest into her entire business center. The man laughed, smooth as velvet. She glanced over him as he spoke while typing in her password. "Quite the statement. Are you not afraid of being struck down by invoking their wrath in such a way?" Aurelia laughed then, a single, deep HA. "Gods like Raph don't hurl lightning bolts over here. That'd be doing work. From what I know of their new Vangelism, the only one who works is Maria. See where that got her. As for the sex god, I stole his collar and he hasn't come for me yet. Now, speak your peace before I shot you with mine." The man sat up straight, suddenly all business, as if she finally struck a nerve. "Not all is as you see it, Dark Child. My goddess has no interest in coming to the plane, for you. She has work for you. She wants you to stop this aimless stagnation you find yourself in, for you to remember why it was she sank her teeth into you." The clacking of black nails into a keyboard suddenly quieted. "Lilith wants me to... self actualize? Well she's too late for that. I'm perfectly content," she spat back as if angry the woman had the nerve to think she could move her through a vessel, or at all for that matter. Even in her rebellion her hand rubbed that spot on her neck where Lilith had once bitten down in the throes of passion. The man used the power of his mark to amplify that feeling, to little visible reaction. "You don't understand. She needs us to act. She sees the truth inside of you, and without movement and change something within us sleeps and never awakens. Lilith only wishes to see that sleeping monster rise. And it so happens that you are in a special position, as a worshipper of none but yourself to move the world." Aurelia puffed hot air, somewhat like a moan and sigh before swatting away the memory and slamming her hand down on the table. "I do not answer to your goddess." The man tossed a briefcase she hadn't seen on the table. "You work for money now, like a common woman? Fine, you'll find enclosed is a greater sum than the job is worth. That is half, up front." Aurelia looked within the briefcase, opening it without having to avert her falcon's gaze on the man. "Oh my ********> she exclaimed slamming it closed. "Now we're talking. What's the job?" she asked smiling. That much money could fix the sign, the stairs and the door... and buy her a new building...
The man stood and produced a sheet of paper, leaning across the table and extending it to her. Aurelia snatched it from his hand, unfolding the paper and looking on it's content incredulously. "A demon? This much money to kill a demon? Just a dreadnought too? What's the catch?" When she looked up he was opening the door. "You'll find it's well below the actual worth in time, Aurelia. Until then, Godslayer. May you find your way." That had certainly been a strange interaction, but one that made her thing as she began loading the HMO with ammunition and weaponry.
Stagnation meant that there was some sort of progress for her to make anymore. Truth be told after she killed Elessia, Aurelia didn't see much purpose in continuing on the warpath that was her life. Nocturne had, predictably erupted into civil war and Aurelia had seen far too much war in her life. She was, by and large, over it. Ruling the world was overrated at this point, and besides that retirement was treating her well. 22 years old and rich, powerful beyond what she thought she'd ever reach and at the pinnacle of her maturity power wise. She opened the store not out of need, but boredom really. Existence, at the top level, could be torturous if one didn't keep busy and so she did. Every so often a job came along too tough for one man, and she reminded the mortals she was not one of them, a step above. But really, had she stagnated?
She let the question sit as she locked the door of her home/place of business and ascended into the air towards where this prey made his home. The journey would take a bit without the use of her wings, but rather than push it she enjoyed the free time to think on what Lilith wanted from her. She crossed her arms, riding an invisible wave below her body through the air over Val Ghast, high in the air above where most monsters would see her in the clouds. Never had she been beholden to the whims of a god like she was to Zachariah, back when she killed in the name of Vaet Nocturnum. She was at home then, on the battlefield crushing the skulls of the weak below explosions and magnetism, fighting among other demons, and dark ones like herself. Her skin got bumpy thinking of it, remembering how deadly she was, how much she'd reveled. Until she saw Abigail that is. But that was something she was over now. With the death of Zachariah, that chapter of her life closed and she was set free into the world, this time truly. She filled her time with drunken exploits, some of which were under lilith, some of which were on top of her, a lot of which had to do with her ambition pushing her. Unlike when Zach mobilized the army, she was not constrained. Hindsight showed her that being beholden to Zachariah was not truly living. Vaet Nocturnum was for the birds, as it were, and she'd clipped those wings. Long before Aurelia ever saw the need for Elessia's death, and longer still ebfore she settled down, she realized religion was not for her.
She reflected on that time as she neared the demon's lair, hidden well below layers of laayer on layer of metal arleady deep below the earth's surface. So this demon was in fact of her kind; a Diabolos. The Ultimate Evils as they were, could easily be capable of this. With the faintest expression fo her power, the metal below the earth bent and cracked with her will, sending earthquakes for miles. She rose, and so too did iron filaments from below the surface, breaking the ground in microscopic amounts first, and slowly in more and more massive chunks. The process was quick, but still painstaking and loud, literally rending the earth itself apart as the chunks of ferrous material responded to her call. In minutes she, without straining herself, floated among a world of floating chunks of metal. Below her, there was only darkness. An abyss, almost, slowly being filled with sand. She furrowed her brow and descended, forming massive arcs of the metallic substance floating in the air arranged in geometric shapes above her. Aurelia could be an artist when she chose, especially with the Flying Circus active. The lower into the chasm she sank, the closer she felt to her goal, sensing an anomaly of massive presence below her, drawing nearer. She feared not the dark, nor the danger of her situation. Finally she reached the bottom, feeling surrounded by the two conflicting sources of magnetic flux in the atmosphere, exerting too much power near each other.
In a flash the entire chasm was alight, glowing gray, monochromatic but visible. Aurelia blinked a few times, then saw her there. A woman, older than her by far, but somehow full of life. She smiled, floating with wild black hair long like her own once had been, bearing the same look of condescension on her face. Aurelia rose an eyebrow, producing her minigun as the woman merely hovered above her, bare feet, tattered dress. It took only seconds for her to see the resemblence between this woman... and Abigail.
That wasn't right. She didn't look like Abigail... Abigail looked like her, and so too did Ariel. So too did Aureila. This woman... she... She waived her hand and the gray light turned into one of white, allowing Aurelia to see her more clearly, the defining freckles of Ariel, the sharp eyebrows of Abigail, and Aurelia's puffy, full lips. Her piercing gaze was the same that the three sisters shared. Aurelia became keenly aware of the similar feeling between her own flux of magnetism, and the anomaly of this woman. It was... it was almost the same. As if she was the woman's own spitting image. As if their energy had a common source... as if Aurelia was a weaker version of hers. The woman landed, walking forward. Aurelia, in a panci, began unlaoding bullets at the woman, but as she predicted they all stopped in the air, still spinning as if no momentumw as being lost, and then they all dug down into the ground. "Now is that any way to greet your Mother?" the woman teased sending the Minigun crashing into a wall with a flick of her eye lid. Aurelia stumbled back, askance and awestruck.
"I don't have a mother, demon. She's been dead for decades, and you'll be joining her soon enoguh." The woman laughed, pulling Aurelia within kissing distance and challenging her with a grin. "Would you like to say that again?" Aurelia growled, horns cutting through her head and wings sprouting. "Vakk Antha!" they spat in unison, and then she sent Aureila crashing into the cave wall, and continuing by tearing her from it and slamming the Dark Child into the floor of the cave. "Is this the best that my child can do? Be tossed about? Well, I suppose I cannot expect too much you. You have a long way to go." Aurelia fought to her feet, ignoring bruised ribs and a fractured shoulder blade. "Come now child, must I thrash you about with your own power much more before you realize you are indeed my daughter? Samael sure does make sturdy children." At the mention of his name, her anger seemed to get a handle on itself, and Aurelia eyed the demon. The fiery suns of her eyes had blackened fully, and in response the woman did the same to her own. "Look deep child. Use the sight he blessed you with, the sight I blessed you with. See my blood. We are of a tight bond of blood, girl. I bore you and two sisters into the world the same day, but only to you did I grant the gift of my power. Look deep into me, into yourself. See me plain." Aurelia could not help but look at her own hands, seeing what her energy looked like, what her blood felt like to the sight. To her shock, the woman was nigh on identical, minus some holy traces and a bit more... refinement. "How... where have you... what?" she asked as the woman moved forward, placing a hand on her daughter's shoulder. "Who are you?" Aurelia settled on. The woman moved both hands to Aurelia's cheeks, looking as if still decided the worth of a new car.
I am Demetra, Demon of the Black Reach.
Aurelia felt suddenly so confused, so filled with ire and curiosity at once that she was in conflict with herself.
"I grew up thinking you were dead, we all did! How could you not come to us?" accused the DarkChild. Demetra let Aurelia go, fixing her wounds somehow, and then placing her hands on her hips, summoning metal from the top of the castle to form into a pair of seats. "I watched from a distance. Samael deemed it better for me to return here, to the Black Reach, while he watched over and parented you alone. It was not my idea, but it was the safest for you. I kept my distance, hidden while Samael fought Elessia's crusade. It was unsafe for me to join in the war. And since then, it has only recently become clear to me that I can come out of hiding, such as what Bjorn and the others of that gods-be-damned religion." Aurelia sat across from her, listening with actual confusion set into her mind. The woman commanded an impressively dominating aura, holding confidence in black eyes darker than the blackest metals Aurelia had ever willed. "I do not come to this world to rock it, I'd rather come to conflict with the protectors of the plane. However, my blood, like yours too my child, demands I have a hand in this planes ongoing struggle. I loved being here as a girl. Before I met Sam, before I was a full fledged demon, now what they call an impure apparition, I roamed the plane as a demoness of import. Where I went, the red carpets rolled. People flocked to kneel before my power, beauty and grace. There was a time when I watched you in Nocturne. Your father and sisters turned away from you when Zachariah turned you from vangelism. I could not come to you the. But I did watch and send you my prayers. You were strong. Beautiful. Graceful. None could stand in your way that you did not allow. I thought you'd be headed down the path to becoming like me. Becoming a demon worthy of the title. And yet here you sit, stagnant, of growing or increasing influence. You've become tired, lazy, and a little fat. It's pitiful. Aurelia looked at herself suddenly with her ire clear on her cheeks. "Im not fat, and I am not twiddling my thumbs you crone. I am simply bored of the goings on of the third plane. I killed a god. I could be ruling Nocturne now... but what's the point? " Demetria leaned in her seat, crossing pale legs and interlocking her fingers. "My sister died in war. Your daughter. I killed her. For the longest I justified it because she made me. Ariel hated me and Samael didn't touch my mind. I was lost to them. For someone else's war, I slew my own blood. I finally gave in to my own emotional disparity over it long ago, came to terms with myself. That was fine by me. Like you want I was just going to rule the world on my own. Then Elessia. " Demetria smiled.
"And seeing my heavenly daughter broke you down again?" Aurelia shook her head. "No two years had passed. I didn't feel anything at all.l besides irritation. Maybe a little nostalgia. What I meant is that killing Elessia showed me that even the greatest of us fall eventually, and right or wrong eventually someone knocks you off the top of the hill." Demetria was displeased but Aurelia didn't care. "At least here I can do what I want regardless of fear that someone's gonna come looking to take the top spot. That way I can stay out of wars I don't care about. That way I can avoid needless stress."
"That way you can kill off just be pathetic. I tire of this whining and excusing it yourself. Aurelia Samaelson. That is who you are. Aurelia Demetrason. You do not avoid conflict you enforce it. You create it. When did you truly forsake yourself. The daughter I loved above the others was no small fish in a big pond. She was a bullfrog! She did not fear herself. Let's be honest, this inhibition is nothing more than fear. Needless stress? Ha! I cannot believe my ears. You are Vaet Diabolos. You've spent your life as a force, but now I see your problem. You have been under another's thumb so long the thought of being your own terrifies you. So be it, little girl. I have no more to say. If this is what you choose then you are lost to me."
Aurelia suddenly turned a shade of red deeper even than when she was a screaming newborn. Heeled shoes cracked with how hard she stood, stumbling a bit comically but approaching the woman barefoot, looking down at her with fumes rising from her nostrils. Demetra didn't even flinch. "Lost to you? Woman let me be clear: I do not need you. I have never needed you, not since you ran like a scared mistress after you gave birth to me, not since you let Zach ruin my life, not since I became an adult, a damn strong one, while you were in the peanut gallery. Lost to you!? I was lost you the day I was born, and mom or not I won't have you speak as if you matter to my life. God I'm so sick of all of your flock," she all but screamed turning and walking away. She truly started to become irate. "I am not a tool. You're all so high on your horses. Thinking yourselfs better than us because of what, a difference of status? Don't forget I killed one of your kin. I am here because I want to be. I am not some out cast, I don't need a kick in the a** to get in gear. I said I'm bored of their affairs. That is why I am here. But I see now the error of my ways. I choose a comfortable life and everything goes to s**t and gods breathe down my neck about it. You all want a show? Fine. But don't come to my heels when I burn down your little castles and crush your pride." Like a rocket, she boomed straight up, wings fluttering and all.
She's was high above the clouds when she finally slowed hear ascent. At her furious behest Aurelia let loose a bolt of electromagnetic energy at the arcs of metal shed arranged, sending them crashing down at demetra, who was merely smiling. Her work was done. To see her daughter ascend was why she petitioned one who had followers, one besides her to get her ire up. Aurelia, in her ornery mood, had reached the pinnacle of her power. The wing on her shoulder now suddenly had an opposite existing on the othe shoulder, black instead of the pure white. No one in the world had power over her.
Not Vangelism with its holy tenets and chorus of holy crusaders, singing hyms of those who merely use them as power plays and vessels, pretending to love them until they finally do something that their patrons haven't approved of.
Not Vaet Nocturnum and there cesspool of liars and defilers. She's no saint but Aurelia definitely didn't belong down in the muck with them. She'd long since rose above their foolish mutually assured destruction, wishing the worst of the world to come true.
Now was the hour that Aurelia make her choice. No more is there room in her mind for others, for gods or demons. Samael and Demetra be damned. She got what she wanted from them, what she needed. Life. Now the life she had was her own. The world was hers to take and, finally, the Dark Child had motivation. And undying passion. First she needed to go home and close the shop, lock the place down. She was a sonic boom once more, tearing the sky apart like a rocket as she hurled her body towards what had become home, and admittedly a container for asomewhat building fire inside of her.
It was mere minutes before she was back home, pushing open the door without bothering to unlock it. Her Pain Inversion was spiraling out of control, as was her irritation level at the events that had unfolded. Whether or not the woman claiming to be her mother had a point, Aurelia did not care. She didn't care if she ever saw that hag again so long as she lived, so of course her ire hit a fever pitch when her golden irises fell on the woman, sitting in her chair, behind her desk. "I thought I made myself clear," Aurelia spat like venom, words drenched in animosity. Heeled shoes clicked on the ground like earthquakes as she stomped past. Demetra merely watched Aurelia as she hung up her beige jacket, slung her grenade belt on the table.
Her mind was alight once more, as was her soul "It seems I was right about the stagnation, even youa re disappointed." Without turning, Aurelia freed a single bullet from a revolver at the woman. Of course, it never reached her, but Demetra smiled all the same as Aurelia holstered the weapon on her hip. She slipped a gun vest over her form, four pistols setting in place. Her grenade belt had open slots for ordinance, which she rectified immediately. A blue hole in the world itself opened and she began levitating all manner of heavy weapondry in the building into it, along with various types of ammunition she stocked up on. "All my life I've been fighting a war with myself, with my nature. With Elessia's fall, there was nothing left for me in the world to battle. It was a strange feeling, the one that led me to flee the world of conflict, but I gave into it regardless. I fell for the ultimate trap, the one that holds back mortal men. Politics rule the world, and I am but one player of many. But being so far from myself for so long... you are right. I stunted my growth, ruined myself. I mean, honestly look at me here. I haven't been so bored before in my life. And for what? Fear of what I could be getting myself into? Fear of ending up right back where I started?"
Aurelia scoffed, and Demetra watched her reequip her jacket and walk over to where she left the briefcase on her desk. "I don't know why Lilith fcares what becomes of me, or why she sought you out, but I guess I owe the Whore of Whores a thank you. I guess your little tactic worked, and the plane will once again have the pleasure of suffering my influence upon it."
"Where will you go now, my daughter?" Aurelia looked down at the woman, removing her shades so she could look her progenitor in the eyes. "Where I go is my business. I won't have you watching, trying to guide me. In fact, it would be beneficial for you to forget we have any kind of bond at all. To me, you are nought but another who will kowtow or be removed from my path." It was harsh, but looking at the demon, Aurelia could only see such familiar features. Abigails eyes, Ariels lips... her own nose. It was a reminder she did not want. Demetra laughed and got up from her desk, walking to the door, gaggling all the way. "Now that I can get behind, daughter. Let's hope, for your sake and mine, that you and I do not cross paths as enemies then. For what it's worth... I am proud to see you back to yourself." She waved her hand, and a rip in space opened, red and bleeding energy, Aurelia did not watch her leave, merely reached into a drawer and removed a lighter. Nostalgic eyes stared at the place she'd grown so accustomed to, not with swelling pride or fondness but frustration embarrasment. "Never again," a hushed whisper asserted.
As she left the building, she tossed the lighter over her shoulder, the Black Baroness set flames to a history she wished to erase. She was far and away when a missile fell from the sky, erasing the entire city block. For the people that lived nearby, it was somewhere they knew not to come to... and now it was a smoking crater Aurelia watched go up in smoke. She turned north towards Val'Ghast, knowing that the worst of the goings on in the world was on the very continent she landed in. Uncaring for what the new mark on her shoulder meant, or if Samael and Demetra had eyes on her, she went out to be what she was always meant to: Vaet Diabolos.
My name is Aurelia, and I answer to know one. Welcome to the Church of Me.

Stats: 7/13 6075/6075 Bullets: 1320 Abilities/Weapons: Adjustment Passive Requires Glancing This is a skill that will come depending on your target. The more you miss while using this the more accurate you are in the next shot, you are adjusting yourself to your opponent's dodges. This is if you can still see them and if you miss. If they block your attack or get hit by it the effect of adjustment wont take place. There is however a side effect, since you are focused on shooting at them you are not quite capable of dodging. Adjustment is a solo skill it cannot be used in conjunction with other skills except for reloading skills until Expert rank. It must reset when you stop shooting, so you have to constantly lay a reign of fire on a target for it to stack over posts. By the third post, them dodging alone wouldn't be good enough if you don't lose your lock on them.
The Sight Just like their counterpart (the Nephilim) the Diabolos can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.
• Electromagnetic Manipulation Even without expending energy, the Diabolos can manipulate electromagnetic fields. This allows them to levitate their own weapons and manipulate them with great speed, power and precision. Furthermore, they may sense metal and disturbances in electromagnetic fields; for example, if there is a destructive event happening even across the world, they will know it is ongoing, just not who or what is involved. They can sense earthquakes and other such things, to name a few events that would trigger this sense.
You may also compress this magnetic field within simply a large area around you; this allows you to perceive movements around you.
• Pain Inversion This is a strength and a weakness. Pain Inversion allows for a Diabolos' abilities to be stronger based on their physical health. This does not increase ability rank, but rather size, speed and precision. At full condition, you will be able to manipulate larger masses and fling them at enemies as if ballistic homing missiles. When near death, you will need great concentration to do that same thing and will be able to manipulate significantly less at once.
• Zenith Passive It's a common saying that anything is a weapon in the hands of a master, this concept is made real by the Weapon Master as they naturally coat any and all weapons they wield with energy. This results in two things, the weapons are made stronger by a rank, and they can strike things they normally shouldn't be able to, such as Shades. This stacks with other damage bonuses. Total weapon damage stacking cannot go past +3 ranks.
Sight Lock Passive This skill is necessary for any and all gunslingers to keep in mind, letting them gain a mental lock-on on the foe. So long as the foe is in any form of view, without anything to obstruct the view, such as a smoke screen or any visual type of illusions. Another bonus is that the Gunslinger can utilize the reflections of anything to find their opponent. The gunslinger can even quick draw with their gun, in a blink of an eye, they can shoot a target in their sight, meaning the opponent has to see and react to the draw of the gun or the moment upon firing.
