Ah! Food! Food was amazing! Before the waitress had even brought in the second half of his meal, Yoakim had already eaten a whole plate! That plate was a stir fry, and vegetables where suppose to be a starter, so he started with them! Or at least that was how his logic worked when it came to food. Continuing to eat, he waited for Kade to continue his speech on Christmas only to notice that the boy wasn't speaking! Kade? No Speaking? Whatever was on his mind must had been fairly important! Or completely useless. Knowing the boy, it was always one of the two extremes. "Well, I just said that we had it when Mother was home from... wherever she was at that time, so we did have decorations and such..." Of course, he wouldn't admit that until he was fourteen, he had always though that it was normal that the person his family had hired to play Santa was to be caught, tied down to the Christmas tree and than whipped until midnight. Ah, family traditions... "But really.... I don't mind it at all.. in fact, I do think a bit like Father... Holiday's aren't that important.... I mean, I would still celebrate it with you if you asked me too, but I wouldn't mind at all forgetting that it exist either."

Did he just say Christmas didn't matter? Nope, Kade must be hearing things! Judith's idea of Christmas, using it just to show off, that wasn't Christmas! It was about giving and receiving! Not just showing and cackling about how some orphan couldn't have the toy train they wanted, later to grow up to loath Christmas and force a ban on toys on the village he gets elected mayor of! Because that's what the evil Judith would do would cause! Christmas bans!! St. Nick would be too busy this year to save Christmas, then it would be up to Kade and – oh, but, how would he get there to save Christmas?! He would need Rudolf! The elf that wanted to be a dentist! A-and Olive! He would need a small dog! ..Actually, that all sounded kind of fun~! Maybe it wouldn't – oh, no! The Grinch was capturing his thoughts! A ban on Christmas wouldn't be fun!

Kade only laughed at Kim and shook his head, going back to eating quietly while he focused his mind on defeating the wretched Grinch's pull..

Once they finished eating, in a not-so-comfortable silence, considering it was pretty strange that Kade would keep quiet for so long, they paid, stood up, and left to go back upstairs, where Kade would finish his job on Conor and Keith in a very awkward manner.

~End!~

Ginger Pepper ❤ ❤ ❤

Ginger had a date here with Mei. Mei is late! I-I can't be stood up, gain! This is prom all over again! Why Suzy!? Why couldn't you just love me like I loved you that one homecoming night in the school bathroo- oh it's 7:57PM.. okay.. still have three minutes. Ginger thought as she saw her cellphone's clock. She was in the restaurant area of the Inn, which she never noticed until Paprika pointed it out. So here she stood, waiting, and waiting.. it has to have been three minutes by now! She looked back at her cellphone, noticing it was still 7:57. She was nervous, why wouldn't she be? She hasn't officially dated since.. since Suzy stood her up on prom night, and she ended up getting high, drunk and had an orgy with some of the other girls on the chess club that she gave ecstasy to. Probably shouldn't tell that story to anyone if she ever adopts.

Mei had always been a very prompt person. She always made sure to get there at least fifteen minutes early! But she had never been to the inn before, and had gotten lost. So she actually ended up there only a few minutes early! How shameful! Her face was bright red when she hurried up to Ginger. "I'm sorry I'm so late," she said regretfully with a deep bow. She was so embarrassed and upset over not being overly early that she had completely forgotten that this was a date, or that Ginger had practically threatened her to come. "I hope I haven't offended you...!" She didn't know why she was so distraught. It wasn't like her father made her be obscenely early to everything. But it certainly helped her stay on his good side. Not that she had even wandered close to being on his bad side, so she could have been angsting over nothing.

Ginger Pepper ❤ ❤ ❤

Just as Ginger was contemplating killing herself because Mei stood her up, she heard - and saw Mei. She was late! Well.. no it was still 7:58, but considering Ginger has been waiting here for the last 13 minutes, it was late to her. She hasn't even started sobbing about how black Jesus would let this happen. So she was still very cool, and collective. "No, you're early.. though.. though you should have been here 13 minutes ago! It's lady like to be here fifteen minutes before your date!" Probably not a good thing for either of them. Since if they do go out on a second date, they'll end up both showing up 15 minutes early, and so on until they make their date 15 minutes earlier than they normally say. Then they'll end up taking away 15 minutes from each date since they keep showing up early! "Erm. I mean. It's fine." She then stared at a waitress NPC. "You. Seat us."

The waitress nodded, grabbing two menus and walking over to a table. "Erm. Sorry about.. scolding." She shouldn't be mean so early! Being mean meant people hate you, that's why no one ever wants to be your emergency contact number! Ginger walked over to the table, and pulled out one of the seats for Mei. Manners were important! Without manners, she can't get Mei drunk or get her in bed.

Ahh! She knew it! She had made Ginger mad! Mei looked up at her with a startled expression before bowing once more. "I'm really, very sorry!" she repeated. She probably didn't need to apologize again, because next thing she knew Ginger wasn't even paying attention to her! She was talking to a waitress! God, Mei, stop being so self-centered. You always think it's about you, when it's not. Well, regardless, she was feeling completely self-conscious and burnt out as she followed Ginger and the waitress to their table.

"No, you do not need to apologize. I was rude, you were justified," she said somewhat bleakly as she sat down, absentmindedly pushing her hair out of her eyes. "...Thank you," she added awkwardly. Hey, the woman had pulled out her chair for her! She was supposed to thank her! Even if it didn't fit in with what she had been saying before.

Ginger Pepper ❤ ❤ ❤

Wait, did she just thank her for being mad at her? Was she one of those weirdos who liked to be punished and spanked and s**t? Weird. Ginger thought as she sat down herself and took the menu that she had for her. For an inn, this place was pretty nice. They had actual menus and everything! Some with pictures! As the waitress asked what they wanted to drink, Ginger responded for both of them - even if Mei didn't want to drink this. "Wine for both of us. Also, bring some gin and coffee." The waitress nodded and walked off, to give them time to look through their menus. "I like mixing my wine with gin.. the coffee is so I can drive home after that." Alcoholism! "So um. Mei." She sucked at small talk, so she was looking through the menu. The ******** didn't this place serve? At least it wasn't just Chinese. She didn't care for rice and stuff- oh sweet they had catfish. "I know what I'm getting~ What about you?"

-New Day? yes? Now? Really weird Time Paradox? Both Timeline fusing into one?-

So, this was where he was suppose to meet that mysterious woman who had bid on him! Unfortunately for him, he hadn't been able to make Zhi tell her who she was, but that was mostly because he couldn't find the Chinese girl at the time! So many people were flocking toward her, she had probbaly escaped using some old Chinese Magic. Was Zhi a Chinese witch? Probably. Most defiantly. Instead, Neil had decided to just come to the inn and he would find it out by himself! Oh, what better way to get a scoop on people than by going on blinde dates with them? Sure, there was going to be a slight problem this evening but... Oh, details. He walked in the restaurent portion of the inn and sat down at a table, waiting for his date.

Zelynity pushed open the door of the Inn and glanced around, clutching the strap of her bag close to her chest. She spotted a few people inside, but one man was sitting by himself at a table. Hopefully that was her man, she approached slowly. Trying to convince herself on the short walk that this was not going to be a bad experience. This was going to be great. The fairy had told her she needed to meet people, so here she was. At the restaurant with a stranger. A stranger that she previously thought was going to sweep her off of her feet. She took a deep breath as she walked around to the front of the table.

Before taking a seat she looked up at him. "Neil?" She said with a small smile, feeling her heart pounding with the suspense of all of this. It was ridiculous to put herself through this.

Neil was lost in his thoughts, writing inside his notebook. He really was confused about that whole Romane/Paprika thing. Who was telling the truth? Who was an alien? Who tried to kill Roger Rabbits? So many questions that he had to find the truth about! Oh, he would one day! That was his job, the Truth was his job! When he heard his named being called, he finally lift his head from his notebook, noting the girl. Did he knew her? No. Perfect! He would b e able to learn many, many things about someone new! Discover all their dark secrets and expose them to the light! Just like he had done with that other girl and human trafficking!

He closed his notebook and put it away, before raising himself from the chair and removing his hat from his head and holding it in his left hand as he offered his right to the girl. He had a wide smile on his face as always, but something was wrong.... he wasn't talking! No 52435245 words a minute like usual. Instead, he simply shake the girls hand before moving around and pulling a chair for her, still smiling. He walked back to his place, and passe the woman a small piece of paper with writing on it.

I am sorry, I am unable to talk. I was stuck in a tree for over 15hours in the cold because some German girl pulled my ladder away. I cough a cold that soon became a laryngitis. I hope you don't mind. What is your name? How old you are you? If we don't know each other already, are you new to this island? Any siblings? Where do you live? Do you have a job?"

Zelynity shook his hand with her very gentle grip. She smiled and gladly took the seat as he pulled it out for her. That was rather nice of her, maybe he would show to be a nice fellow. He did look a might bit older than her. She smiled, a little awkwardly wondering why he hadn't said anything until she read the piece of paper he had shown her. Ahh, he couldn't talk. Well wasn't that lovely. At first she thought about pulling her trusty pencil out of her back, but then she remembered his loss of voice had nothing to do with her voice. She nodded and looked up to him with a smile. In a strange way, it made her feel a little calmer.

Zelynity took a little breath, her nerves driving her insane, "I'm sorry to hear--well read about your illness." Oh she had already blown it. She sighed, trying to keep very calm and continued. "My name is Zelynity Niami, and I am seventeen years old." She folded her hands in her lap, not so sure what to do with them. "I do not think I have ever met you." She chuckled and brought her hand to her mouth as she did. "I'm relatively new to the island. I just haven't really got out much. I do have one sibling, Raiden Niami. I live with him in a small house on the south end of town. No, I don't have a job. I'm a student and I spend my free time drawing and selling my drawings." She smiled and nodded. Pleased that she answered everything without making a fool of herself or going into a panic attack.

She pulled one of her hands from her lap and placed her chin on her palm. "I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions of my own." She smiled and glanced from the table to him. This was a great way to get to know someone, and she was rather happy that he started with some questions, it made her feel much safer asking her own. "How old are you? and how long have you lived on the island? Speaking of the island, is there any advice you can give me about living here? Do you have a job? Where do you live? Oh, and why were you in the tree in the first place? Do you have relatives here? and do questions bother you?" She raised her eyebrow with the last question, pulling her head from her palm to her wrist. She gazed across the table at him and pulled her innocent smile back to her face. Maybe that was why it was better that he couldn't talk, there was no way he could stop her from going on and on.

So, she was a student, who did nothing but paint while she lived with her older brother. Runaway, perhaps? Maybe her father had kept her in a cage for 15 years until her brother helped her escape to the island. Or perhaps... perhaps he was the one who had kidnapped her and was now using her as a sort of slaves. Perhaps she wasn't even his sister! Stockholm syndrome! She pored all her trauma inside her drawing! He had to get his hands on those drawings! They would show him the truth behind that messed up family! Rape! Incests! Everything was happening in that family! He just had to know who was the real bad guy in there.

He took out his notebook and his pencil, writing some more on it. It was the only way to communicate, after all. Not only could he use it to write down what he had to tell her, he could write his own thoughts at the same time! Oh, he should have went without a voice earlier!

Questions are fine. I love questions. Don't you? I am 31 years old. Do not worry, I am not a ****** - read the newspaper. It'll inform you of everything you need. I am also the Editor-in-Chief.
Keep away from Paprika Pepper. It's evil.
Be careful of Blair Vatonage. She is known to have once killed some children in exchange of drugs.
I live in the house shaped like a shoe. Living there for the last 3 years.
I was investigating something that can only be investigated from a tree.
I have a brother and a sister living here. She's a cat.

Now, while anyone who was familiar with Nirvani would understand completely what he was saying and see nothing wrongs with it, he didn't realized that most of the stuff he had just written would made anyone not familiar with the island think he was batshit insane. Oh well, not like it would make anything different than usual.

Zelynity watched as he began to scribble on his notebook again. The silence was rather interesting, it was almost never quiet in her world. She looked down at the paper, reading intently, chuckling at certain parts. She then returned her gaze to him and took another breath, there it goes again. Having to talk to a stranger. With each second that went by, she thought this date was more and more ridiculous.

"I do love questions!" She smiled, straightening her back and returning her hands to her lap. It really was a rather uncomfortable situation. So many things you could do with your arms while sitting in a restaurant! Why she could flail them, fist pump, or even just hold them up. She smiled, humoring herself with all the things that could be done with ones arms. She tried to snap herself out of it and continue with responding to what he had written. "Oh, that thought hadn't even crossed my mind." She chuckled, it honestly hadn't; she thought of this more as a simple conversation between soon-to-be-friends!

"Editor-in-chief? That's so interesting, and I will be sure to read the paper often! I look forward to it." Before this moment, she didn't even know that there was a newspaper. "Keep from Paprika, check. Stay away from Blair, check." Wait-- killed children for drugs? "Did she really do that? There isn't some kind of misunderstanding. I can't imagine anyone doing that." Maybe she was just too innocent, but that sounded ridiculous. "Shoe house, check. That's cool, my house doesn't have any shape. I'm jealous now." She put on a fake pout and glanced back at the notebook, it wasn't her fault she couldn't remember all of it. "Only investigated from a tree? Are you like a secretive detective? That's so intriguing. I'd love to hear some of your stories, if time allows. And your sister is a cat?" She tilted her head at the thought of that, "Is it more of a cosplay thing? Surely she's not really a cat." She hoped he wasn't agitated with her making sense of everything he said that, well didn't make sense.

Zelynity brought her hand back to her chin and smiled, contemplating the many things she wanted to ask him next. "Do you like your job at the newspaper? I bet it gives you a lot to do. I know that with my art I travel around a lot getting ideas for pictures and the like. Would you like to see some sometime?" She smiled once more and decided it would be best to just let him go on with all he wanted to ask.

Ah ha! She was asking him to see her picture! He would finally be able to see the truth behind it all! All the mysteries surrounding that woman. He could already see all the rapist scenes from her pictures. The one were she was chained to a wall being flailed by family members. The poor girl! So young, yet so damage already! He smiled at with his usual too-many-teeth grin before writing some more. First, answer the questions she had asked him.

There is no proof, but everyone knows she did it. She's still not as evil as the Pepper.
Having a shoe for a house isn't all the great. Kinda smells like feet sometime.
No, I am not a secret detective; that's my brother. Journalist still do some investigations. Scoops and things.
Yes, my sister is a cat. She dresses as a cat, she speaks with cats, she acts like a cat. Therefore, she is a cat.

He gave her that piece of paper for her to read, but before giving her the time to finish reading it, he started to write on another page. This was strangely the best conversation he had with anyone in quite a while... he wondered why. Probably because the girl was so damage she just needed to talk with someone! Yes, that was it.

Oh, I do love my job. It's all my life, really. The trill, the scoop, everything. I would love to see your paintings. Really. You can come and show them to me anything. Do you have a lot? You must have a lot. I would like to see them all.

Zelynity smiled at Neil and watched him write again. She ran her fingers through the ends of her hair, looking around the Inn. Once he passed her the paper she began reading once more. 'No proof? Then how did she do it... Maybe I should be a junior detective here and prove these silly beliefs wrong.' She giggled to herself and continued on. She looked up from the paper and chuckled at him scribbling on a new page. She smiled at the new page, thinking of all of the pictures she would have to round up throughout the entire house. She would have to pull all of the pictures off of Raiden's wall. Oh, what about the ones that were probably lost during the move?! She sucked in a short gasp of air, trying to keep herself calm. That's just what she needed, something else to panic over.

She cleared her throat and started at the top of the list, "Pardon my next statement, I do not mean to be rude, but If there is no proof then how can you accuse someone of something as treacherous as that?" She looked him straight in the eyes, putting force behind each of her words. Zell couldn't wait to practice all of her arguing and force in the court room. Hmm, maybe she should ask him if he needed a junior reporter? That might look good on a transcript for law school! But, that would have to come later, and if it didn't... well, she owned him right? At least for now... but whatever she forced him into agreeing to tonight could roll over, couldn't it?!

Zell cleared her head and looked back down to the paper, laughing at the shoe comment. "I am glad I live in a normal house then, and I see. Investigative scoops sound rather interesting, I'd like to do one of those. Make friends and find out so much information!" She smiled, the thought of becoming a journalist recurring to her. The cat thing threw her off again. Just because someone acts like a cat doesn't mean she is one... This man, although very nice, may be the worst journalist she had ever met. "I'm sorry, Neil. But, that doesn't make any logical sense. If I gave you bunny ears and you hopped around would you be a rabbit?" She tilted her head at the end of that one.

She rose her hand to the other paper and pulled it closer to read through it again. "I'm glad to hear that you are passionate about your job, that is a very good thing. I assure you that you do not want to see ALL of them. I do have a lot, way too many in fact. I'm not even sure I could carry all of them at once." She smiled and held her hands together atop the table.
