Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of loveblinking, Miron shrugged, and said "My meditation... It's how I keep myself calm in big cities like this... Dracofoxes have the ability to sense the emotions of those around them as if those emotions were there own... this goes on until they are able to bond to someone... and even then, they can still sense others emotions... Between all the emotions people feel daily, causing an overrun of emotion in the person which can often cause a lot of problems, and the want to protect those they see as comrades, even though they end up more spread in large groups, it often bring an anxiety, even a phobia, of crowds and cities. Small ones are okay... but..." Sighing, he says "I'm thinking I might have to start my meditations again... it helps me keep my mind off of that I'm in a city... like talking to you has... it keeps me calm..." Smiling, he says "I kinda find that I sorta prefer talking to you over meditating, though..." although he was usually good at hiding his emotions, he found he felt a bit of blood rushing to his cheeks... I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above "Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the falls..." Meiun sighed, closing the door behind them. "Look. We seem to be the two who have the most militant ability in the group as far as I've seen. I'm sure you have some ideas on how to better protect the party. By the way you reacted earlier... I can tell you sensed that dark energy back in the forest, and how it vanished. I know that, whatever that was, it's still here, waiting for a better chance to get at us." Turning to him, Meiun sighed, and said "Any plans or ideas? Intel you can provide? Whatever this is, it's no normal undead.""...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls"

Selene
Selene looked at Miron and then got up, going over near to him, and then knelt on the floor in front of him. She gently reached up and started to reach towards his face, but then snatched her hands back, wondering what exactly she had been about to do. Her cheeks coloured, and she looked away, holding her hands tightly together up against her chest.
"I... Um... Well... I think that is very interesting..." she said shyly, but truly meaning it. Her fears were far to the back of her mind now. "I've read about Dracofoxes... They always used to intrigue me... But now that I've met one, you intrigue me even more!" she said softly, looking back up at him. Her cheeks were still flushed, a bright red, as if she had been dancing. Her eyes still sparkled in the moonlight, capturing the brilliance and looking like precious jewels. "I'm sure that feeling others' emotions is a nuisance though, when it's not your bonded...." she added thoughtfully after a second. Her hands had lowerd to her lap, not clenched to tightly together, her fingers loosely entertwined. She was looking down at her hands now, and thinking deeply. She wanted to ask him if he felt her emotions, but knew that that might be far too personnal, so she kept silent and thought instead.

Riku Itsuki Amakura All night staring at the ceiling Counting the minutes I've been feeling this way So far away and so alone (()) So he did see me. Riku wasn't too surprised. After all, he hadn't acted as calm as he had been. After Meiun finished talking, Riku thought for a few seconds about wether to tell him or not. Then again, it was vital information to know anything about the enemy. Thus, Riku took a deep breath and looked at him with a solemn look.
"I believe the enemy to be someone I'm after. Her name is Linda, and she's the one that caused the death of my partner." Riku hoped Meiun wouldn't take think the partner was a romantic partner. He did not swing that way. "Best thing is to probably keep all the people that can't fight in one room. Then, one person stay in there watching them while the other two watch the hallways."
Riku realized that last part may make them too suspricious. So he re-thought that part. "Nevermind about the last part. Would draw too much attention. We need two people in the room guarding the possible targets and one in the hallway. Every so often, we exchange. It should be a slightly irregular intervals so no one can figured out the pattern. Also, we shouldn't go in an order for the most part. That will also create a pattern. Pattern's can be deadly is someone knows how to explotae them." Riku told calmly and wondered when Linda was going to make her move. There's no way I'm giving up this time Yeah, you know I'm right here I'm not losing you this time

Linda
Linda, still keeping her aura quiet, started into the kitchens. She didn't sneak, not physically. She put alot of her essence into keeping herself from being sensed. With that, no one would see her. She snickered softly to herself. Going to the food that would be prepared for breakfast the next day, she started to prepare a meal especially for the lovely Princess Selene. It didn't say that of course, just said the Fae with the indigo eyes. She made it appear as if it were from the innkeeper's wife, and then sprinkled the poison in throughout the food. Only her meal would be effected. And no one would know either, for the poison was undetectable! Linda smiled to herself and then disappeared back into the forest, letting her aura briefly show about halfway there, just to give them a little scare. She laughed to herself when she was at her little campsite again. Oh, they would receive a lovely little surprise in about a day or two. It depended on how fast the poison would work through the Princess' body... And how deadly it would become to her heart. Linda's cold smile grew, if possible, even colder and filled with more evil as she thought of what would happen. The Princess would collapse and convulse once... Then start to cough up blood and flesh... Linda laughed again, congradulating herself with such a well done plan being carried out. With her out of the way, none of the others would stay together. Selene was the glue. Without the glu, there would be no group, and with no group, there would be no warrior, not for the Faerie at least...

MinaMina looked to Riku as he walked over to where her and Meiun were standing in the hall and gave a small nod of her head as she spoke, her tone even and level. "Well since you have been able to feel it there is no point in hiding the truth of it so you are welcome, but I ask you not mention it to the others. Selene doesn't know I am able to do that and would be upset with me, since she seems to see me as a sister since I have been the one to be around her more then others." She then turned to speak with Meiun, her eyes looking to him as she stood, her energy still flowing to all that was in her group. "Who says what I am doing is something other then keeping watch? What if giving the others energy is one of my ways of keeping watch, to make sure everyone is rested and has enough energy for the coming journey? My energy does not keep those who receive it awake Sir, if they wish to sleep they can, so do not fear that you will not be able to rest because of the energy you have received." Mina mentally shook her head at the next words the Meiun had said a silent laugh echoed in her mind as she thought to herself. 'He really thinks to me weak to where I can't keep watch and to force me to let him take over? Well I guess he will learn I am not going to let him take my place guarding Selene so easily.' "I wish you well on whatever it is you much do before retiring to your rooms. You both know where to find me if you need to speak with me on the coming journey."

ɱÑÈ.⟠⊠ââââââââââââââââââ Sienna sucked in a breath as she was caught up in Darian's arms, but that breath was a mistake, for as it settled in her lungs she smelled the power of his blood. Her body went stiff in his arms as she tried to control her urge to feed, for she didn't want to give the Undead King anything he could use against her. She shook slightly in his arms, the urge growing until she jumped off the bed he had just placed her on and moved to the far wall away from him and the servant. Her eyes narrowed on the pulses in the necks of the two people in the room, unable to pull her eyes from those she closed them and held herself as still as possible. She took a few shallow breaths, trying not to gather the scent of blood to her as she then spoke, her voice trembling slightly. "T-Thank you, but I am f-fine for now. There is no need to stay here with me." She gave a small curtsy before the King left the room, and as the King and the servant left she gave a sigh of relief as she was able to draw in clean air. She spoke softly to herself then as she sank to the floor, her back against the wall. "That was too close. If they had stayed any longer I don't know if I would have been able to hold myself back."

Sheridan Sheridan opened her eyes slightly as she looked up to Athrius and nodded her head. 'I will try. I just feel h-horrible for causing this pain.' She hung her head down slightly her voice still flowing into his mind as she spoke again. 'I just can't seem to stop hurting you in some way, and for that I am sorry. H-How is it your fault more then mine? I knew father would be upset, even if I had chosen someone he saw to be a batter match for me he would not be happy. I think he would rather I not find anyone then have me find someone.' Sheridan looked about her room and sighed, she was glad to be back inside her room. She lightly grasped Athrius' hand and walked over to her bed and laid down, she was tired and needed rest, but she wanted to be held as well. As she laid down she lightly tugged on his hand and then let it slip, she didn't want to make him lay down with her, but would allow him to choose. Her eyes stayed closed as she turned to lay on her side facing the side of the bed Athrius was on, her body slowly relaxing as she drew closer and closer to the wonder of sleep.

Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron looked at her for a couple of seconds, thinking... Slowly, he brought a single hand down to her cheek while kneeling, placing his other on her hands. He could sense her emotions... though he had to focus very hard to distinct them from other emotions... inquisition... nerves... fear in the very back of her mind, and another nervous fear in the front, obviously regarding him when considering the last of her emotions, and the most powerful... love... She had fallen in love with him... And, considering it... he found that the strange emotions he had toward her matched it... slowly, he sighed, stroking her cheek. It was obvious that he felt a little... awkward... but... he was enjoying this. The softness of her cheek, of her hand... her hair brushing around the hand he had at her cheek... the warmth of her body against his hands... slowly, he touched his forehead against hers... he would let her make the last move, let it be of her choice, not of his force, in case she still had doubts. He wouldn't pressure her into this by kissing her right off the bat, he would let her choose. I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above "Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the falls..." Slowly, Meiun nodded, and said "Only one member of our group seems to not have any fighting capabilities... Selene... Mina shows potential... Miron seems to have a martial stride, suggesting experience in some form of combat training... and then there's us... I'm less direct fighting, since my style is more for affecting those who are asleep, and putting people to sleep... but I can use that in fighting to some degree... just not particularly efficiently. I would need to touch my opponent... so against a ranged opponent with no cover, I'd have some difficulties... and that hallway doesn't provide a large amount of cover..." Sighing, he said "So I guess you could state my abilities more of the practicality of an assassin than a fighter...""...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls" Never gonna save me You just shut me out And now it's over cause I'm stepping out, again Athrius slowly sighed, saying "I knew what the consequences were... but... I didn't care. That's where it's my fault. I didn't come into this unknowingly." Smiling when she got into bed, hoping she would finally get some sleep to rest, he sighed... but noticed how her hand lingered on his... he knew what she wanted... Slowly, he laid with her, wrapping his arms around her; firm, but delicate. He smiled as she slowly fell asleep, and proceeded to make sure she was comfortable... he wouldn't have to sleep any time soon. Never gonna break me Just try and hold me down I will escape you and I'll push you closer to the ground Cause you're the one that's going down

Selene
Selene gasped in surprise when she felt his gentle touch, and looked up at him when he started to lean in towards her. Her eyes widened when he simply touched his forehead to hers, and looked into her eyes, almost as if he was thinking. She knew he wasn't thinking though, and she could tell from his eyes that he was waiting for her to do something, anything. She didn't know what it was that she was feeling. But she knew that she wanted to kiss him... Her heart skipped a beat as she dimly realized what it was that she was feeling. She sighed softly and closed her eyes for a second before she opened them again and looked deep into his, admitting herself what she knew to be true.
"I love him..." she thought with stark clarity before she gave in to what she wanted so badly. She closed her eyes again and leaned in, kissing him. After what seemed hours, she pulled back and looked down, blushing deeply.
"I... Ah... I'm sorry..." she whispered. "I didn't mean to be so forward..." She felt that maybe she should pull away, but found that she didn't want to, loving the feel of his hand upon her hands, his hand upon her cheek. She closed her eyes and tilted her head, leaning more into the hand that was cupping her cheek. "Love..." she murmured softly, not aware that she had spoken aloud.

  King Darian
Darian stood for a few seconds outside Sienna's room before turning to the servant, who had not left his side.
"I have reason to believe that she is part vampire," he said softly. The servant looked horrified, but nodded, waiting for Darian's next command. "Go to my blood bank and get a bag or two of blood for her." His tone was soft, and the servant gaped in shock.
"But, but... My King...!" the servant stammered, but Darian rounded on him, anger flaring in his gaze, though not as strong as it could have been.
"I do not care! I know that without it, she will not survive long, and dammit I will not have her dieing! I love her, gods help me, I love her!" he shouted angrily, and then winced. She was sure to have heard him. Muttering that he would be in his room, he sent the servant off, which he did after a hasty bow, and then Darian left as well, going to sit in his room until he was sure that Sienna had left, until he was sure that no one would remember, and least of all him, what he had said.

Riku Itsuki Amakura All night staring at the ceiling Counting the minutes I've been feeling this way So far away and so alone (()) Riku heard Mina talk to him and he nodded to her. "That's fine. I am not a keeper of secrets for nothing." He had many secrets and most he wished he never knew. His ears listened to Meiun's reply to his own. Riku agreed with most of it, expect the Selene part. Something about her made him think she may some experience. I mean, why would they train some of their children and not all of them? If I was ruler, I would make sure all my children were trained so they wouldn't be killed.
"Well, I'm more like you in fighting style, Meiun. However, I have been trained to fight in close and range combat as a precaution. So, depending on what skill the others porcess, we may need to figure out who would be best at what." Riku told calmly and knew what he was good at in fighting. He just had no idea, other than what Meiun had told him about himself, about the other's abilities. This could be them at a disadvantage until that information was made known to him and Meiun. There's no way I'm giving up this time Yeah, you know I'm right here I'm not losing you this time

"Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the falls..." Meiun blinks, and says "I have... suspicions... on the matter... A game of favouritism, perhaps? Training to take care of the more important, or training to make sure the most important can defend themself... But so far I have been given no reason to believe Selene capable of much fighting. I will give her the benefit of the doubt, though, until proven otherwise. I had planned on such anyway." Sighing, he nodded, and said "I can tell one thing, Mina's powers are obviously healing of some form, with how efficiently she can withstand a multi-strand energy conversion session... that speaks of a master healer. Her actual fighting abilities we will have to keep an eye out for... As for Miron... I know a thing or two about his kind... His abilities will depend on his elements, and thus far I only know for a fact that he has control over fire... With what I have learned by working alongside and against Dracofoxes in the past, they have two elements. Fire usually works good for offensive capabilities, ranged and melee, but mostly melee. They also have two forms. A fox form, which is better for land missions and scouting, and a dragon form, better for air missions and outright combat. Only time will tell... When we discover Selene's fighting ability, we can find out more then... but that is all I know of our alliance's congregated abilities, counting our own.""...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls" Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron indulged fully in the kiss, and gave back wholeheartedly. For a second, he felt a jolt... emotion akin to his own... but not his own... and not just the secondary emotions he always felt in the back of his mind... this was more real, more substantial... but it was gone again when the kiss broke... But while they had been kissing, he had never felt more alive... and that jolt... it made him feel amazing. Slowly, he wrapped her in a hug, and said "Too forward? I was afraid I was the one that was going to press myself on you!" He sighed, and said "I may not be the most experienced at this social stuff... or this love stuff... but I know that that was not too forward... if it was, I wouldn't have enjoyed it, would I?" He smiled, still holding her. She had kissed him already, so he knew she wanted it... but would he be able to return the favor? Slowly, he leaned his face in again, this time taking the initiative. He slowly started to kiss her again, holding her against him. He felt the foreign emotions again, inconsistent, but more concise than the emotions he felt from the rest of fae-kind... He was enjoying this... a lot... He didn' want it to end. I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above

Selene
Selene accepted the touch, kissing Miron back fully. Her heart skipped a beat or two, and her hands gripped the front of his shirt, gently. Her wings fluttered slightly over his arm, and she seemed to snuggle closer to him. Her indigo eyes closed as she leaned even closer, and she found that she could feel emotions that weren't hers: enjoyment of the kiss, and of the emotions that were swirling around them. Selene's blush grew a little as she finally, reluctantly, ended the kiss.
"Miron..." she whispered, her heart skipping a beat. "I.. I love you..." she said softly, the words seeming like a magical spell. The moment seemed to stretch forever, and she wanted it to last. A deep weariness settled over her though, and she found herself yawning, however she tried not to. Blinking afterwards, she blushed. "Sorry..." she whispered. "I'm just a little tired..." She had stayed up half the night before on a watch, while Mina was sleeping, and then lay down about an hour or two before Mina had woken up, and then woken her.

Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of love"I love you" She had said... Just those three words, and it seemed as though happiness radiated from him. The emotions spiralling in the kiss... He could feel them perfectly... He knew what this was... they were bonding... He slowly smiled after the kiss, and said "I love you too, Selene..." That did it. The bond was there... minute, nearly untraceable... but it was there, no longer fading in and out. Now it just had to strengthen... he would have to tell her, warn her... if they slept in the same bed, that time together, over the course of a whole night... it would be the finishing touch... "It's no problem..." He said in response to her yawn, and then continued "Selene... before you go to bed... you said you had read about Dracofoxes... Part of it... Do you know about the Dracofox Bonding?"I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above

Riku Itsuki Amakura All night staring at the ceiling Counting the minutes I've been feeling this way So far away and so alone (()) Riku listened to Meiun carefully. He had not encountered a Dragonfox until Miron. His...."family"...had told him much about the ancient races, including the Dragonfox. Not many are still alive by what I know of. I can't remember why they are so few in number now a days. Could it be because of the undead, or something else? Like maybe they can only breed with their own kind and there is only males now? Riku knew that train of thought was going down into a strange rant. Thus, he stopped himself before he lost it.
"Alright. So it seems like you, me, and Miron would be the ones that could fight off any attackers. Mina would be the healer and Selena would be the weak link. That means the four of us must make sure that weak link isn't exploited in any way shape or form. By what I have seen, Selena is the kind reckless type. The fact she pulled a sword on me without knowing my motives shows the recklessness. But the way she has acted around us shows she is not a mean type. Unfortunely, those types are the ones that usually end up dead in the gutter. Thus, we must make sure she doesn't do anything reckless." Riku told camly. There's no way I'm giving up this time Yeah, you know I'm right here I'm not losing you this time
