Bonnie looks up from putting the last of the Christmas decorations up. She blinks when she sees the werewolf, rubs her eyes, and exclaims, "Dec? What the heck? Why are you orange?" She glances at the window, "Wait! It's not the full moon. What the hell?"

Amy arrived at the adoption center with the kittens in a small cat carrier and Thistle walking beside her. Thistle had a certain spring in her step. She thought they were going to give the cats away for good.
Amy put the cat carrier on the counter at the front desk and sighed softly. "My name is Amaranth and I'm dropping off three kittens that appear to be about a month old. My pony here found them outside of our house and brought them in. The mother never came back and I've been taking care of them ever since. I've been feeding them milk. My friend thought I should bring them here to get them checked out, but I'm NOT, absolutely NOT putting them up for adoption. Please call me when they are ready to be picked up."
She handed the lady her Aqua Springs business card. "You can send the bill to that address, too. Thank you very much."
Amy took one last look at the cat carrier, kissed her fingers, and then placed the fingers on the cat carrier before she walked out with Thistle. She picked up Thistle, held her close, and walked out.
