Sin looked at the maze feeling a bit jittery, the last two times she had gone in she had been chased out by something quite frightful. Except now she had seen a prize at the end of the maze, so she was rather determined. She stepped in and started on her path.

This time the sound of an injured imp really didn't startle or even faze her. She helped the little imp with it's injured foot and watched it scamper off. Those poor things always seemed to be suffering injuries in here, Sin half wondered if they didn't fake it for attention.

She had been doing just fine, remembering turns to take and those to avoid. Then she came to the boulder and froze, she didn't have a story or a riddle in mind. Infact when she tried to think of one she found her mind going blank! Finally she scrambled to think of a good story and looked around the maze for inspiration.

"There was once a big maze...and...a boulder inside who...uh..." She huffed and sighed, who was she kidding? She didn't have a story or a good riddle, she would just have to come back once she had memorized a few. Grumbling Sin turned away from the boulder and stalked out.

Gabrian felt confident enough to give the maze another try; he'd let quite stretch of time pass to lick his wounds (or rather, just pick up his tattered ego and pride, which had been left in ruins after being forcefully chased out of the damned maze). That in mind, he made his way into the maze.

Giving up was for losers, and he was horribly determined to NOT be a loser. Of course, that notion was surely going to jinx him, watch.

Roll 1- If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.)

The same little imp greeted him upon entry. Either that, or a closely related cousin, because Gabrian could have sworn they looked exactly alike. He was just as unable to leave the imp wounded this time as he was the first time he'd attempted to cross the maze, and as such, the demon lowered himself to the ground, and tended the small thing's wound.

That done, he got up and continued on his way.

Roll 2- If you roll a 26-100, you pass and can go on to round three. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

Awwh you made it past the little imp with no troubles! You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. )

Ah... he clearly remembered this boulder. He always clearly remembered it demanded a story or a riddle to allow passage into the next (horribly intimidating) part of the maze. Gabrian hesitated only a moment before lifting his violin and tucking it firmly under his chin. That done, he begun to sing out an entirely different story-song from last time, hoping this one would have as much of a positive effect as his first one had.

Thankfully, as soon as the last few notes and words drifted through the air, the boulder moved aside, allowing the nix entry into the next part of the maze. He allowed himself only a glance back before continuing onward.

Roll 3- If you roll a 51-100, you pass and can go on to round four. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

You hear a deep rumbling growl of something near you. It sounds as if the noise is in the pathway next to you... but after pausing and holding your breath, you can somehow tell the creature has sensed you and is looking for a way to get over to you. A flash of white and red through the foliage of the maze tells you its something large... and mean. ( If you roll a 51-100, you pass the creature after hauling some tush away. If you roll a 1-50... The creature gets around the maze somehow and chases you out. )

He also remembered this section of the maze, not to mention... how much he'd hated it the first time he'd gone through it. He'd only made it past by sheer luck, and he wasn't entirely sure just how lucky he'd be a second time, so thus, Gabrian braced himself, more than ready to face the worst.

When the growling resounded, he paused. Unfortunately, as he did so, he also stepped on a broken branch, which instantly gave away his immediate position to the... whatever it was that was lurking in the darkness; all he'd seen was a flash of white and red. Hissing out a curse, he somehow managed to repeat the feat from the first time, hauling some tush away to escape.

Thank Jack for that.

Roll 4- If you roll a 76-100, you WIN. (RP meeting the below obstacle, roll a 6 sided die on this post so i can see which scareon you win)

FINALLY! You made it to the end and you can see the little purple ball things sitting in a large metal bucket at the heart of the maze. A animal skin with a horse skull is sitting next to it... strange, but you take it as decor. As you approach though... you hear a whistling sound and suddenly feel like your being watched. Closer you go... as you try and reach out for one of the prizes, the horse head and skin somehow disappear... and behind you is a LARGE and angry ghost horse staring at you with large glowing green eyes. Rearing backwards it charges as you. ( If you rolled a 76-100, then you manage to grab one of the pokeballs before being chased out of the maze by the ghost horse... if you roll a 1-75, the ghost horse just chases you out empty handed.)

Gabrian finally reached the end of the maze, wincing heavily when he caught sight of the animal skin and the horse skull laying near it. It seemed perfectly harmless, and he idly wondered if it'd do the same thing as last time. Attempt to tip toe by the thing as best as he could, he reached out for the purple ball that was juuuuuust within reach.

Of course, no sooner did his hand ghost over the purple thing that the skin and skull vanished. This time, Gabrian did not lose any time whatsoever; he swiftly snatched the damned ball and turned around, intent on running out of the maze as fast as demonly possible. He only took one peek over his shoulder, instantly determining that yes, the damned ghost horse was back, and looked as furious as ever.

Thankfully, the moment he got out of the maze, the thing stopped chasing, and the demon breathed out a sigh of relief before pausing to stare at the ball that was still firmly clutched between his fingers. Huh.

Malodore had the tweezers out before it even heard the high, thin voice of the imp. "Oh waaaaaaaaaaily! Waily, waily, w- oh it's you."

The plague doctor folded its arms and stared down at the imp. "You aren't even going to try?"

The imp shrugged. "It's a living. Waily?" It held up its foot, which once again had a splinter in it.

Malodore bent down and plucked the splinter out, flicking it into the bushes. "Your living is getting a splinter in your foot every few days?"

The imp shrugged again. "There's worse jobs. Specially round here." It shuddered, then grinned maniacally. "See you in a couple days!"

Malodore set its... beak... as the imp catapulted itself into the hedges. It fervently hoped not.

Malodore put away the tweezers as it padded through the maze - but there was an additional burden in its sleeves today. As it approached the familiar boulder (it opened its eyes and blinked down at the plague doctor expectantly), Malodore pulled out a rather thick book.

Horrifying Tales for Bedtime.

"Once upon a time," it announced, before the boulder could inquire, "there was... a mysterious land called Christmas!"

"Ooooooooh," the boulder groaned, shuddering. "I don't like that one."

"The good and kind Sandy Claws made toys for all good little girls and boys!"

"Please, no more!"

"One day, Jolly Elfsberry the Happiest Elf skipped merrily up to Sandy Claws' house, singing a merry tune-"

"PASS!" the boulder bellowed, rolling rapidly away.

And now came the hard part. Malodore tucked away the book and squared its shoulders, walking carefully along the path, every sense on full alert. This was where it had been chased away both times before...

The creature was still there. Malodore could hear it breathing... yet, as it tiptoed past, there was no change in its breathing pattern. Maybe it was asleep? The plague doctor had no breath of its own to hold, yet it still heaved a sigh of relief when, at last, the low rumblings of the creature were behind it.

Safe!

... For now, anyway.

What was this? The hedges opened up to reveal...

... Whatever was back there, Malodore didn't get a good look at it at all. A sudden, horrible shrieking whinny cut the air, and the plague doctor saw only a flash of white, horrible green eyes, and CANDLEJACK RUN.

It ran.

"IMP!" West shouted at the top of his lungs. "GETTHEHELLOUTTAMYWAY!"

Warning the irritating creature had worked before...

West rounded the corner.

...and it had worked again. The besplintered imp was nowhere to be seen.

West smirked and continued down the path toward the boulder monster.

Stealth was definitely not West's strong suit, but it hardly seemed to matter when it came to this odd maze monster. Whooping and hollering, the wrath demon ran past the creature, rolling his eyes as the beast gave chase. It was going to have to be craftier than that to get one up on Westus Warrick.
