Kadra sighed and walked out to sit infront the fire. She wanted to keep warm. She felt cold all of a sudden. Like death was knocking at the front door to take her away. Maybe it was just the close encounter with the man eating demon. "So why are you being so nice?" She asked knowing most people had a hidden motive.

Paha nodded. "I know how it has been My Lord, even in my old age I haven't forgotten. But the man I speak of his name is Attorra. He isn't the son of the late king, but a blood relative. I was never able to find out if the pregnant queen bore a live son." Paha folded his arms and shot a glare the humans way "If you know some thing women speak it. The man before you deserves the utmost respect."

Telmina smiled. Some thing rare for her. "How about we go for the weapons house to draw out the king first then set fire to his palace?" She felt a huge grin spreading across her face. Oh what fun today was turning out to be.

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor nodded at Telmina's plan. "That sounds more appropriate. Should we both attack? Or do you want to begin the attack on the store houses whil I lay and wait for Kurag to exit his palace, then burn it to the ground?", he asked as he strode beside the dragoness. He also had a broad smile across his face. Finally they were going to severely cripple this tyrant instead of treat him like a disobedient child.Nexus was on his bird once again, which flew its way to the top of the cliff rather quickly. The rotting Roc landed at the top edge of the cliff to reveal the rest of the palace that stood there. Nexus whistled before getting off his Roc. "Who knew that the Kamaens were civil enough to make structures such as these? It even dwarfs Kurag's ragged old place, but I guess that isn't too hard...", Nexus was talking to himself.
With a short hiss of his dead language, the Roc disappeared into the Earth. The necromancer strode over to the palace, which was quite brilliant. He approached the door and knocked on it. At that point in time, one of his zombie dogs ran across the ground behind, still searching for the item that it's master was looking for.
Nexus patiently waited for someone to answer the rather large door. If no one came to greet him, he would just break down the door...

"Must you be suspicious of the kindness of strangers?" Attorra started pulling out kitchenware now, "I was always just happy with it when I was growing up. Not a lot of nice people in the world, it means you should be grateful when you meet one." He pulled some wood out to get the stove started and sat before it to get the fire started, "I'm Attorra, of Askersdam, that's it. Like everybody I have bad days and good ones, and someone I hate more than anything else. I'm human."

"Attorra?" Afsana was quick to reply, "Attorra of Asker- or, Pto? Attorra Millin's son? That Attorra? Well where is he?"
Hearing something, Afsana held her hand up to Paha, "Hold that thought." She poked her head around the corner to see a figure at the front door. What a creepy looking guy. She jerked a thumb back in that direction and informed the lord, "Yo Paha, I think you got company."
"Paha you needn't lecture her. It's the makings of greatness which give her the cojones to speak to authority figures like that. I can handle it, Paha, I'm not you." The man gave a small smirk and glanced around, "But I believe she's right, there's someone here to see you."

Kadra watched. "Yes I must be. I have a bounty on me. People would rather turn me back to my father and get the gold then help me." She said grabbing a piece of wood and holding it into the fire at the fire place and walking the lite wood over to Attorra so he could use it for the stove fire. "I don't like trusting people. It's some thing I learned once I left home."

Before Paha could get a wise crack out Leonardo was by him body tensed and ready to spring into a fight. "What Leo?" Paha asked slowly turning to the door.
Leonardo had a bad feeling, a really bad feeling. Like one he would get before a destructive storm or a large fight. "I'm going with you My Lord." Leonardo said walking with Paha to the door. His hand resting heavily on the sword at his waist.
Paha tugged open the door and looked at the man before him. "Yeah?" He said feeling a little apprehensive.
Leonardo felt his skin crawl. He wanted so badly to change and rip apart the man on the other side of the door. He felt danger, it was all consuming. Before he could even stop himself a low growl rumbled out of his chest and out into the open air.

"I go for the store house, soon as he comes out burn the palace. Don't hurt the king. That will just make the humans hate our lord." Telmina stopped in her tracks and began to back up away from the thick trees. "I'll go first." Ice wind engulfed her and died down. She shook some ice from her wings before she began to flap them to carry her into the air.

"Very well, miss.", Eversor replied to Telmina. He watched as the dragoness flew away, then snapped his attention to the tyrant-palace. He bolted off toward the structure, running at an unhuman speed thanks to his sheer dragonic speed and power.Nexus was just about to bring his leg up to kick down the door when someone answered it and it swung open. The necromancer returned hi foot back to the ground before anyone could notice and put on a fake friendly smile. "Hello, my name is Nexus. I am here on behalf of Kurag. His daughter seems to be missing. Would you mind telling me where she is?", he asked rather kindly, ignoring the person who gave a rather unnatural growl for a human.

Attorra shrugged, "I learned that somewhere along the way, but then one day it hit me, if everyone was like that there would be no good people in the world. None at all. The people need more than a good king, they need good fellow men."

"More of these guys?" Afsana laughed, "Kurag must have the whole damned world in a tizzy over one little girl."
"Tell me about it," The man beside her folded his arms, gave a small, half-laugh and strode casually up to the door. He recognized the mysterious one at the door from earlier and gave a small snort. "There must be something really special about this girl, eh Paha?" He leaned on the door frame and smiled knowingly, "Or maybe there's a secret? Hm? What do you think?"

Kadra folded her arms over her chest. "I was beginning to think the world was full of nothing but horrible people, I mean really."

Paha shot the the man leaning on the door frame a rather angry glare. "Kurag wants his daughter back to keep his dirty secrets hidden." He turned his angry eyes on the hooded man "If you want the girl get in line, there are others waiting to get her." He said coldly.
Leonardo fought to relax his shoulders and not jump the hooded man. He wasn't like most people. If he feared some thing, he didn't run from it, he wanted to kill it. "My lord." He growled out between clenched teeth. "I don't think it wise to bring more strangers to the girl."
Paha spared him a glance over his shoulder "Your advice has been noted Leonardo."

Telmina was swift and set cold fire to the weapons house. She glided around in the air dodging arrows, and fire balls cast out to take her down. Men tried to put the flames out. But it was like trying to stop a ice storm, water didn't help.
Soon enough Kurag was running from his palace to see to his store house. "Kill the dragon before it gets here!" He called as he ran with a few of his men.

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor grinned as he ran, spotting Kurag leaving his palace. "Perfect."
He bolted right passed the tyrant, easily pushing anyone who go in his way. When he was close enough to the palace, Eversor was engulfed in a whirl of black fire, which disappeared to reveal his massive dragonic figure. He instantly sprung into a gallope and lunged at one of the large turrets at the corners of the palace. Before impact, the black dragon's scales ignited into individual black flames, his eyes and inside of his mouth became a pure inferno of white fire instantaneously. He smashed through the structure into its interior, where he stopped only to destroy main support beams that were key to holding the structure's integrity, all the while unleashing his black fire from his jaws to burn down the building in a raging firestorm. Nexus raised a brow at the mention of Kurag's dirty secrets. He then shook his head when Paha told his to "wait in line". "I'm afraid that I'm no where near patient enough to wait, as is my nature being a former servant of Death himself.", he smiled broadly as he boasted.
"I am no stranger to you. You may have heard of me. If not, than I know enough about you from my former master.
"Anywho, I would like to know where the girl is.", he said rather kindly still, pulling his staff from his cloak as if from nowhere. The necromancer leaned on his staff, a light threat with his movement.
At the aura of his threat, a few of Nexus's undead dogs appeared from the surrounding vegitation and bolted to their master's side growling and snarling all the while.
Nexus said a single word from his language of Death and dogs stayed where they were, remaining unmoving at their master's command. For now...

"Your lack of faith is directly related to the fact that everyone here has probably been paid to bring you home." Attorra scoffed, "There are a lot more good people than you think, but we tend to overlook them."

The man in the doorway just laughed, "Yes Paha, yes of course his dirty secret. But war is dirty business so I suppose everyone here could use a bath." He stood and dropped his arms, "Fact of the matter is, dear friend," he faced Nexus now, "is that the girl not only does not wish to be found, but she's the best kept secret of the region. I bet at least half of the people in the palace know where she is, but they won't speak, and why should they? They would receive in return only the anger from their lord. So Paha, I understand that there's a queue, but how about you tell everyone where this girl is."
Afsana rolled her eyes, "The only person the people should be concerning themselves with is Kurag, and that's to take him off of his throne." She glanced over at the apprehensive lion and looked to the cloaked figure, "What about you? You act pretty powerful? Shouldn't you be trying to start something like that?"

"My dad says war time is not a time to sped money lightly, I wonder where he is getting my bounty from." Kadra said jumping up to sit on the counter and watch. "I mean if he is paying every one that comes after me, the people must almost be drained of gold. It can't keep up for much longer."

Leonardo's eyes were on the dogs. He didn't trust the stranger. He growled back at them showing large fangs, made for tearing flesh.
Paha sighed "She is being kept safe about a days ride from here." He glanced at Leonardo "If you can't keep your anger in check get lost, I don't need you losing it and tearing your wonderful general's coat all to hell."
Xeema who had snuck up in the commotion smiled "Aw the lion can't hold his temper? I thought you were better then that." She couldn't help but goad him on.
Leonardo, snarled and pulled the coat off and tossed it at Xeema blinding her for a moment. His bones popped, muscles and tendons stretched, then reformed, fur sprouted. A large lion stood glaring ahead tail lashing about angerly, at the dogs and man. He panted lightly, changing always hurt.
Paha rolled his eyes at the lion. He was always hasty and a little reckless. But he knew if he was truly that worried over then new man, he also had some thing to be careful over.

Telmina soared over the burning palace and shot ice fire out at any part that did burn already. She watched as servants scurried out to escape, some screaming others to scared to do any thing but run.
Kurag stood shocked, his home burned. Soon enough he recovered and began to shout orders for men to begin trying to put out the flames. There wasn't much else he could do.

Eversor Sunda'skular, Dragon of Black Fire
Eversor's teeth were bared, scales bristled, wings flared. An intimidating sight for any mortal. As his tail swung behind him to smash yet another support pillar, the building shook as its foundation seemed to begin to fail and collapse. The black dragon let his fire build deep in his throat, then released in all at the same moment to launch a blod of condensed, black, magma-like substance at a wall that lead to the outside. The blob of black magma smashed through the all, causing it to spatter anything on the outside with building debris and dark bits of extremely hot lava. Eversor made his way through the hole tht he had made as the building fully collapsed apon itself behind him.
He spotted Kurag not far away, barking orders to his servants to put out the fires, which didn't seem to be likely to succeed. Eversor, still in his intimating fashion, couched lowly before leaping toward the man, only to land in front of the tyrant by a mere few feet, his two rows of dragon teeth level with Kurag's head. "Remember me, whore king?", he asked through a deep and throaty growl that eminated from his chest.Nexus shifted his gaze to the woman who had spoken to him. "Act powerful? My dear, you have no idea what power is.", he said with a cocky smile. "And what is the point of having such power if I'm only to sit in a palace and get fat from the food that is brought to me and bore myself with politics? No, I do not have I need for that. I am one that searchs for fun and my own gains and nothing else.", he said plainly, then looked to the lion that stood in the place of the edgy man he had been there moments before. "Speaking of fun, would your cat friend like a little brawl?", Nexus asked as he pulled his hood back to reveal his head. His facial features made him look a healthy 35-years-or-so-old.

"What a pitiful way to spend the country's funds." Attorra paused, "I hope you won't take offense. But obviously you needn't hav three hundred men on your trail if you wanted at all to go home. Why is it that you remain at large again?"

Uru sighed heavily, "Must we fight one another? Obviously we all have similar ideas, similar goals, you know if there weren't so much animosity within this group we'd have the daughter found, the war ended and the peace of the world restored in no time at all."
"The monk is wise," the so far nameless man smiled, "As to be expected from a man who worships such fine deities."
Uru gave him a smile and nod for being agreeable of course, he turned to Paha, "If you'd be as so kind to cooperate, Paha. As well as you, good sir who knows death and whatever else about your title."
"Oh yeah, how's that old fart doin' by the way?" The nameless one laughed, "He must be busy with the war."

Kadra shrugged "I was hoping my dad would think me dead, and just give up. I really don't like living in the palace, for one reason, two would be I got locked in my room. Reason three, well my dad planed to marry me off, to some distant relative of ours." She made a face. "Not at all what I was willing to do."

Paha laughed "Fine deities! Ha!" He patted the unnamed man on the back. "That's a laugh."
Leonardo growled at the hooded man, his massive head lowered to the ground claws digging the earth, he put himself in a pounce position.
Paha lightly kicked on the lions side "Leo, I already said if you can't contain yourself, to get lost. I don't want a blood bath right at the gate."
Leonardo whirled and snarled an angry paw slashed at Paha's chest. He didn't want to be messed with.
Paha leaned back out of reach. "I warned you, you fool." Paha said before taking a quick rush at Leonardo and grabbing him by the main and neck, lifted him up, almost completely off the ground, and slammed him down, a loud thud sounded as his head hit the ground. "There that knock your brains back into you damned head lion?"
For a moment the large lion laid on the ground unmoving. But slowly he rose to his feet, shook his whole body and sat down. Seeming to have remembered just who was in charge and who to listen to.
Xeema was holding her sides and laughing as hard as she could. "Stupid lion forgot his manors!"

Kurag backed up fast. He almost ran, but there were so many other people running and trying to scramble out of the way. "What do you want?!" He asked trying to not feel the fear that was making him lose his nerve.

Eversor snapped his jaws together in Kurag's face with a loud SNAP. "It's not what we want, it's what our Lord wants, Usurper.", he said through his growl before reaching mind out to Lord Paha's mental link.
My Lord, we have destroyed Kurag's palace and Telmina's finishing up the weapon store. What will you have us do with the tyrant? I have him directly in front of me close enough to the point where I can see the whites of his eyes.Nexus smiled when the unless man mentioned his former master. "Of coarse! But Death is just a diety, a sort of tool for the God of the Underworld, Karn. I would tell you more, but you'll all find out how the whole process works soon enough.", the necromancer smiled a cocky smile to the small group of people. Then smiled broader when Paha put the cat in his place. He had used both arms to lift the lion, where Nexus, with his huge ego due to his power given to him by Death himself, figured he could lift the kitten with one hand with no problem.

"Just a deity?" The man laughed, "Karn is just a deity. There's no one in any dimension more powerful than the holy father, right Monk?" What a conveniently placed source for back up he had in this monk.
"But of course. The Holy Mother and Father are the more prominent of any deity. Not to mention we've them to thank for everything."
"Yeah, they're not just dead people babysitters like Karn is." The man laughed. He looked over toward Xeema and took on a serious tone, "Genocide is funny isn't it kitten? Rest assured your species will get what's coming."
